Well, here we are again. Hopefully this time I manage to budge out a decent enough Chapter after that 2 month hiatus. It's just that I've been real busy these past several weeks with the first term of my last year of school over and well into the 2nd term. And I've realised how much time I really do have for Year 12, and it's real short. So the next few months are gunna get worse...trust me. And I really do hope to finish this story by then. I might have to rush things so I don't put this story on hiatus and then forget about it for like 6 months like I always to with things I tend to forget... ^^;

And I do know that this is a good story, so I won't cut it short. I'll just have to even out my pacing because my pacing is REAL...s...l...o...w... (You get what I mean?). I always drag things out and never think very far ahead so I usually just drag out the chapter a bit just to get it out of the way. I will try harder to not be so slow with the storyline, for both our sakes. :)

Well, enjoy the end of the hiatus with the official Chapter 16 of Forgetful Love! :D

DP (C) Butch Hartman

"This bed...I've been in it before..." Sam stated with slight awe.

"What do you mean? You've been on my bed many times before." Danny stated, feeling confused and worried about the situation.

Sam shook her head in reply, she neatened the sheets beneath her a bit before slowly getting up and placing her hand on the pillow, it was soft as it usually is, but she somehow feels that she has rested her head on this before, and she doesn't usually lay on Danny's bed.

"Maybe you were lying down on this bed one time and you can't remember it because of your amnesia." Jazz explained, thinking logically about this.

"I'm not sure...it feels very recent somehow...I don't know how, it just does..."

Danny sat on the bed next to Sam to see if he could feel how she felt too, he didn't seem to recognise it the way Sam did since Danny sleeps in this bed almost every night, if he isn't up late fighting ghosts or in rare cases studying. He looked down at the covers, and done the same thing that Sam did which was neaten up the sheets. He could feel the sensation of rubbing as he moved his palm from side to side on top of the sheet. He felt as if he had rubbed something soft like this before.

"Strange, I just had that déjà vu feeling too."

Suddenly the feeling of excruciating pain was felt in Sam's broken arm as she moved it only an inch. This immediately made Danny come closer to her to help her, Jazz did the same but at a slower pace than Danny as Danny was lightning fast compared to her.

"I think I need to go back to the hospital. That guard pushed me really hard against the ground." She explained before stretching and realising that her back was in severe pain as well. She grunted loudly in pain as she felt and heard the cracking sound of her spine. "Yeah, I definitely have to go to the hospital."

Danny rested his hands on Sam's lap and looked up at Jazz in worry; Jazz could tell what Danny was thinking. The situation would make it too suspicious for Sam's parents to take lightly.

"I know what you're thinking Danny, and I think this situation would have to change quickly before anyone was to see what really happened."

Just then, the three of them could all hear the yelling of adults coming from downstairs. Sam recognised her mother and father's voice, and Danny and Jazz knew very well that it wasn't just Sam's parents when they heard Jack's loud shouting.

Sam remembered that she didn't get to hear if she was indeed at the Fenton's a week ago. She began to grow worried as she looked down and closed her eyes, trying to not let her thoughts consume her. Unfortunately that was all she could think of. Danny turned to Sam to see tears escaping her eyes, at first he assumed it was the pain from her back and her arm, but knew how strong Sam could hold back her tears.

"What's wrong?" Danny said without thinking, and then realised that those words might make Sam feel annoyed. He was lucky to see Sam sniffle and look up into Danny's eyes holding the same saddened expression. She closed her eyes and tilted her head back down as a few more wet tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Sorry, I'm just worried."

"Our parents always fight, it'll blow over. Don't worry about it." He assured her, thinking it was the argument that was making her upset.

Jazz analysed how Sam was acting, usually in this situation she wouldn't be crying, as far as she knows, Sam rarely cries unless something traumatic had happened. This must have been her unbalanced hormones from her pregnancy she assumed. She sat on the bed also to comfort Sam on the other side of her; she rested a shoulder on Sam's back in support.

"It's not that..." Sam replied with a sniffle.

Danny grew a little surprised, what Sam said made Danny's eyebrows rise a little, he then wondered what the problem was, and before he could fully realise what she was really crying about, Sam explained why.

"I wanted to know if I was with you a week ago. Then that could mean that you're the father, and not some creep's kid." Sam said as she wiped her teary eyes with her sleeve before grunting in pain.

"Okay we need to get you back to the hospital."

"Danny, remember her parents." Jazz reminded him. "We need to take her home." She said with hesitance as she wanted Sam to go to the hospital as soon as possible but knew that Sam's parents would grow suspicious of why she would have to go back to the hospital since she only just got out.

"I know, but she really needs to go to the hospital."

"I'll just make something up, just take me home and I'll call them on the way there."

Danny nodded in agreement to Sam's plan, Jazz told them to be careful before she left to go back downstairs and try her best to calm her parents and Sam's parents down.

As she entered the living room, she could see Jeremy on his cell phone, while Maddie and Pamela were arguing about each other's bad parenting skills, and Jack was giving the silent treatment to all of them until he heard what Jeremy was doing on the phone.

"Don't bring lawyers into this situation! It's your fault your daughter's pregnant in the first place!"

Pamela and Jeremy shocked, Jeremy almost dropped the phone but then let Pamela do all the explaining while he continued to talk to his lawyer on the phone. Maddie stood closer to Jack as she saw Pamela follow extremely angered by Jack's statement.

"You dare say that it was our fault!?" Pamela asked in a loud tone pointing a finger at them.

"Well she's your daughter, not ours. Take some responsibility for your own child!" Maddie exclaimed with a hand gesture.

"Your son is the responsible one! He could most likely be the reason why she is like this. I know my daughter better than anyone else! I know she wouldn't go anywhere else with a guy unless she knew them pretty clearly!" Pamela accused with an explanation of why Danny was the problem.

"He knows better than that!" Jack snapped.

"I know our baby boy would wait until after school to do that sort of thing, no matter how much he loved her!"

Jazz walked in further so that she could grab their attention, but as she walked closer towards them, she didn't see them changing their attention to her. So she loudly cleared her throat and waited a moment before realising that didn't work either.

"Excuse me?" She asked politely looking seriously at them as she waited for their attention.

But yet, they still continued to argue frantically. Jazz sighed with impatience as her request for attention was not being acknowledged, so she decided to change the volume of her tone of voice so that they could hear her over themselves.

"Hey!" She shouted, which immediately made the room fall silent. Jazz saw that she had now grasped their attention; she smiled with relief before replying to what Maddie had said before more arguing broke out. "Look, I know that you all seem to know your child the best, but-"

"But what? Who else knows them better than we do?" Pamela asked with a serious look on her face with her arms folded impatiently waiting for a reply.

"I'm not saying that your kids are complete strangers to you, but there is a lot more to them than you might think...especially for Danny." She explained as she whispered the last part to herself, knowing that Jack and Maddie had no knowledge of Danny's ghost half being one and the same.

The parents were in doubt with the situation, and Jeremy was the first to speak up, since he had finished talking to his lawyer on the phone.

"I think you are saying that young lady."

"Jasmine, how could you say that?" Maddie asked feeling neglected. "We're your parents."

Jazz nodded with her eyes closed. "I know mom, but I'm talking to both of you that you do know your kids, but to an extent. There's more about them that you don't know about, but they know more about each other than you know about them."

Jack grew confused for a moment and looked at Maddie to see if she understood what Jazz was trying to explain. Pamela and Jeremy looked at each other with sympathy; there was a brief moment of silence as both couples thought about what Jazz had explained. Jazz began to think that what she said might have triggered something good, but was in doubt when she saw the Manson's saddened expressions quickly change to angered expressions.

"Young lady, there is no one else on the planet that know Samantha as much as we do!"

Jack and Maddie agreed to this as well, they were against what their own daughter said about them, but usually they would be against her, unfortunately not as bad as this.

"For once I agree with you. Jazz there is no one else that knows Danny as much as we do." Jack said firmly to his daughter.

"But Dad-"

Then, Jeremy's cell phone rang. This caused the room to fall silent as Jeremy got the phone out of his pocket to see who was ringing him. For a moment he thought it was his lawyer again, but gasped in shock when he saw Sam's name.

"It's Sam!" He cried to his wife, this caused Pamela to gasp in shock as well.

"Oh no, what's happened?" She asked, also assuming that something bad had happened to Sam while they were gone. "If it was your son that did this...!" She warned.

"Danny's upstairs, he couldn't have done anything to Sam while she was back at your home."

Jazz bit her lower lip in nervousness; she hoped that they wouldn't go up to see if Danny was indeed in his room. She almost jumped when she heard her father say her name.

"Jazz you went upstairs before didn't you?"

"Yes, well I was in the kitchen first grabbing Danny something to eat. I think he's feeling better now...from eating food of course." She replied nervously.

"There see? Danny's upstairs, so whatever the problem is, it has nothing to do with our boy." Maddie assured them, knowing now that her son was upstairs.

"We'll see about that." Pamela stated tilting her head down at the Fenton's as she walked a little closer to Jeremy who had just answered the phone.

"Hello, Sam? Are you okay?" He asked with extreme worry.

"I fell, I need to be taken back to the hospital." Sam explained over the phone, as she looked up at Danny who was about to leave back to his house.

"You fell?" He asked to confirm with her and to tell Pamela why Sam was calling.

"What? Sam what happened? How did you fall?" Pamela asked at a fast pace with nervousness in her tone of voice.

Sam let out a short laugh in the sound of Pamela's extreme worry over her, and this made Danny smile, he felt that he hadn't smiled in a long time. It almost felt too out of the ordinary, he placed his gloved hand on his face in worry that his face felt different all of a sudden, but knew that he was just smiling.

"I was walking downstairs with a glass cup in my hand." She explained.

Danny thought that Sam was going a little too extreme but knew that her parents were always worried about her no matter how bad the damage was. Sam looked up at Danny to see a worried look on his face; she smiled and shook her head to let him know that it was alright.

"Glass!?" Sam heard from the phone, she could tell that there was more than one voice that said that word.

"We'll be right over dear; don't say anything else we're on our way!"

Sam then heard the beeping sound of the phone being hung up, she sighed with a smile before grunting loudly in pain, which caused Danny to step his foot back into the room and away from the window to rush to Sam's side.

"Sam, I'm here for you." He assured her.

"I know you are, but you'd better get back just in case your parents check your room."

"Or if your parents spot me." He added with a guilty look. "I'd better get going."

He quickly kissed Sam before he flew out the window and back to his home. On his way home, he could feel his hormones raging; he didn't know why they were raging like this. It was as if they wanted more from Sam, and Danny knew he wanted to stay with Sam, but this feeling made Danny feel strange.

That feeling distracted his mind up until he heard the sound a care burning out its tires down below. He looked down to see the Manson's speeding back to their place. Danny almost laughed in thought of how worried they were about their own daughter, but then Danny remembered how much damage Sam had taken while he was battling Walker with Wulf. It made him feel guilty and regretful that he wasn't able to stop the fight any sooner, he knew that it was his fault that he made her have to go back to the hospital again.

He closed his eyes for a brief moment before he opened them and turned himself intangible so that he could fly through the walls of his room and change back into his human form.

As Danny flew back in, Jazz ran into his room to warn him about their parents, but was glad to see that Danny was already back and changed back into his human form.

"That was fast." Jazz said with slightly surprise, forgetting how fast Danny could really fly.

"Well I can fly pretty fast remember?" He asked with a smirk as he walked over to the mirror to fix up his ruffled hair.

Jazz looked back out the door and clenched her hand close to her mouth in worry. "I knew that, and you'd better be careful. Mom and Dad are coming upstairs."

"Did you manage to calm everyone down?" Danny asked.

But he saw that she couldn't reply, because Jack and Maddie had walked in the room by that point.

"Danny sweetie, are you feeling better?"

Danny raised an eyebrow in confusion, the last time he heard their voices they sounded very angry and loud. But now they had seemed to calm right down.

"Um yeah, I'm fine now. Why? What was going on downstairs?" He asked, knowing that whatever happened downstairs wasn't good, but he knew half of what was going on down there by Sam's phone call and he knew that it wasn't all bad by the look on Jazz's face when he asked that question.

"No need to worry, it's just that Sam's parents have issues with our way of parenting." Maddie answered, folding her arms in thought of the situation that she was just in with Pamela and Jeremy.

"Yeah, we have done many activities you two."

"Such as?" Jazz asked with an eyebrow raised and a small smirk, as she knew how much time they really spent with their children.

Jack looked up in thought, he placed a finger on his chin as he tried to remember any time in which the whole family had spent time together, but all he could think of was how much time he spent down in the lab with Maddie making new ghost hunting equipment and creating the ghost portal.

"Um...err..."

Maddie looked up at Jack in worry of whether he could remember anything, as she tried to think of any good memories that they all shared together, she began to doubt herself as well. All she could think of was the same thing that all Jack could think of.

"Exactly." Jazz stated folding her arms. "You barely spent any time with us. Like I said, you guys don't know much about us because you were too busy down in the lab making ghost stuff." She explained with hand gestures.

"Yeah, and any time you weren't making ghost equipment you were arguing about how either Santa wasn't real or about who could be a better ghost hunter." Danny added to Jazz's explanation.

Maddie and Jack looked down in guilt; they knew that their kids were right about them. They spent too much time with each other than spending quality family time with their own children.

Meanwhile, Pamela and Jeremy had finally made it back home and rushed upstairs to see Sam on her bed with her arm cast out of place which indicated that something bad did happen to it. Jeremy quickly rushed towards her and supported her up.

"Let me carry you." He recommended, wanting to make sure that Sam wasn't hurt any further if she was to walk down the stairs again.

Sam shoved her father's hands away from her. "I can get to the car myself." She said with an annoyed expression.

"Samantha, we're only watching out for you. We don't you causing anymore damage to yourself." Pamela assured her.

Sam sighed in annoyance, she began to slowly walk towards the stairs and down towards the car with her parents on either side of her making sure that weren't to trip or fall on their way to the car.

Sam made it to the car with ease, although she was extremely annoyed at her parents for being extremely worried about her. Ever since they found out she was pregnant they were more careful about her.

On their way to the hospital, she thought about when she was thrown through the floor and into the lab right before she was to find out if she was indeed at their place a week ago. She wanted to ask her parents but knew that they would grow suspicious of why she would ask that question. They would think that she had heard their entire argument and conversation from earlier, when in reality Danny had heard the entire conversation and hold told Sam about it later on.

So, about two hours later, Sam cast got re-bandaged and x-rayed to see if there was any more damage to it. The doctor's told her to stay home for the next week or so and getting as much support as possible; Sam hated the idea of staying home but was glad that Danny would try to visit whenever he could. That was the only thing she was glad about.

So there's a longer chapter for you guys to make up for the amount of time I wasted not doing this story. Now, I'm not sure when I'll do the next chapter since the first semester of school is starting to wrap up. But I think I'll try to get another chapter up within the next two weeks. Oh, and also on a side note, my 18th birthday is in a couple of weeks. I'm very nervous and excited about what presents I'm going to get and how the party we're planning is going to go.

Anyways, I'll see you guys next time. Just so you know I will never give up on this story no matter how long I leave it for. I know I've probably said this before but I'm just letting you know again because I am being serious about this.
