Well, my 18th birthday has passed and yet nothing much has changed...I guess the only things that are different are that I get access to more video and art content, and that I get to drink alcohol legally, but I don't really care about those sorts of things anyway.

So, I do apologize once again for not uploading within two weeks. My workload got a bit hectic after I posted that last chapter so I was stressing out really badly. I even had to put my comic on hold for like 5 weeks, I've only just posted a new page since last month too! XC

Anyways, I do plan to make this chapter longer to make up for lost time. I think this will be a thing I'll be doing until I can keep up to date (weekly) with it. So basically I'll make the chapters longer if I don't update within a week.

Better stop talking and get on with the Chapter. So, enjoy Chapter 17 of Forgetful Love! :)

Saturday had arrived, and this was the day Sam was dreading ever since her parents told her about the abortion. She was woken up the same way she always was; by her parents with them opening up her curtains.

"Rise and shine darling!" Pamela said with a tone of cheer in her voice.

Sam moaned as the morning sun struck her face intensely, the last thing she needed was sunlight in her face after a night of reckless sleep. She covered herself with her dark red quilt and sheet, hoping they would at least give her a moment to wake up. She wasn't surprised when they took the quilt off but kept the sheet on to give her some privacy.

"Why now? What time did you schedule this thing?" Sam asked moaning and stretching as she rolled away from the window and faced the door of her room.

Pamela and Jeremy looked at each other with a small smile, finally seeing that Sam was accepting the abortion.

"We scheduled it for seven thirty this morning."

Sam felt more annoyed now that even on weekends she couldn't sleep in. The least she would normally get is her parents waking her up at nine, but waking her up at seven in the morning on the weekend was almost pushing her limits.

"Why so early?" She cried covering her head with the sheet. "Couldn't it have waited till later today?"

"Now Samantha, you should know that you're not allowed to eat before you undergo an abortion." Pamela stated firmly.

Sam groaned loudly, she wished her parents told her that she wasn't allowed to eat anything. Now she was slightly glad that the appointment wasn't any later. She was already beginning to feel hungry. As she thought of food, her stomach growled at her. She let out a sig as she got out her bed with a sad expression on her face.

Pamela and Jeremy left the room so that their daughter could get ready. They reminded her not to take too long as they had to be there very soon.

"I'm so glad she's accepted the abortion. Now our daughter will be able to live a successful life without children." Pamela said with a smile as she walked downstairs with her husband.

"Yeah, we don't want her making the same mistake we did." He added.

Not long later, Sam was dressed and ready to go. She took a good look in the mirror and sighed as she thought about what she was going to go through. Was this really what she wanted to do? She wasn't sure, but she had ran out of time to think of any possibility of who the father was, and she still had doubts that she even was pregnant as her period had not arrived yet and it was due the next day.

Her dreams didn't help her either; they were all blurred and vague. She knew that they had something to do with what she couldn't remember, but for an unknown reason her dreams were always a blur and she couldn't make anything out.

So, she decided to go with her gut and go with it. She didn't want to be carrying some stranger's baby. If only she had known for certain that it was Danny's child, but there wasn't many clues pointing in that direction, and in fact there wasn't many clues towards the father being some stranger either. She felt so unsure, but wanted to be safe.

She left the room and walked downstairs to see her parents already ready to go. As soon as they heard the footsteps of their daughter they grabbed the keys and stood by the front door to wait for her. They had never felt so eager to go on with this sort of thing before.

"Ready to go?" Jeremy asked, aiding Sam to the door.

Sam pulled away from her father with an annoyed expression on her face.

"By the looks of it, I see you guys are more ready than I am." She replied with her head facing down as she walked outside the front door that her mother had opened for her.

Pamela and Jeremy saw that Sam was not happy, and knew that she was being sarcastic. Immediately they had assumed that it was her hormones or Sam just being Sam. So they shrugged it off and proceeded to lock the door.

It was a long a quiet drive to the clinic. The clinic they were going to was a private clinic that they always kept in touch with, because the clinic does more than just abortions but many other surgical procedures.

Jeremy had to go there a few years ago because of an injury in a certain area, Pamela had once told Sam that she went there many years ago but refused to ever go there for herself again. It made Sam raise an eyebrow, but eventually she shrugged it off.

Sam stared out the window with her chin resting in the palm of her hand. Almost blankly, she thought of the clinic, and how the procedure would go. She knew she should have read more about it sooner so she knew what it was all about but unfortunately it was too late. She hoped that the only thing she regretted about this day was that she had to stay home from school because of the abortion.

It wasn't until after seven thirty that they had finally arrived at the clinic. Jeremy once again aided his daughter out of the car but Sam rejected his aid. She threatened to hurt him with her cast somehow as she walked away from her father and closer to her mother.

Jeremy locked the car and followed shortly after the women, he did feel slightly uncomfortable returning to this place after that accident he had a few years ago.

"Now, are you sure about this dear?" Pamela asked for assurance with a hand on Sam's shoulder.

Sam felt reluctant to say a word, but she knew she had to say something otherwise her mother would be nagging about it to her the whole time. Even though she was unsure of whether she should go with this or not because of her amnesia and lack of memory of whom she had slept with and even the fact that she wasn't sure if she was pregnant.

"I guess so." She replied bluntly with her head lowered and her voice slightly deepened to sound more depressing.

"Good choice Sam. I'm glad you're willing to have a successful life." Her mother said with a smile as she opened the door to the clinic.

The first thing that came to mind when Sam walked in was the smell of the place. It smelt very similar to a hospital but it smelt more like soap than it did at the hospital. There were a few people in the waiting room as she walked past them with her parents by her side almost pushing her away from all the strangers.

Pamela and Jeremy approached the counter where a friendly woman greeted the two of them.

"Good morning, how can I help you?"

"We are here for the seven thirty?" Jeremy implied.

The woman looked through the several papers scattered across the desk, and found the timetable attached to a folder. She read the date and saw that there was indeed a schedule made for seven thirty on this day. She nodded with agreement and proceeded to find the Manson's on the computer.

"Jeremy and Pamela Manson? Samantha Manson here for the abortion?" She asked typing again before looking up at the couple.

"Yes, right here." Pamela answered gesturing to her daughter who was waiting right behind her.

The woman looked up, gave a concerned look before nodding in reply and typing further.

"Okay, Dr Frimway will be with you shortly." She said kindly after typing for a little while.

"Thank you." Jeremy replied before gesturing his wife and daughter to the seats so they could sit down and wait for a moment.

The time had reached eight, Sam thought about if she hadn't been through that accident or better yet not be pregnant at all what she would be doing instead of waiting for a doctor to kill a life inside her which she wasn't sure was planned by someone she cared or unplanned by a one night stand.

After about fifteen to twenty minutes of waiting quietly and patiently, a door from down the hallway had opened and a doctor with ginger hair and a white coat came walking down the hall. She had some of her hair up in a small pony tail and her eyes were an aqua blue.

"Samantha Manson?" She called out.

"Yep." Jeremy called back as he got up from his seat, followed with Pamela shortly behind and then Sam.

Sam was glad that it was a woman that was doing the procedure and not a man she hadn't heard of or recognised before. Even though the family had been going to this place for years, Sam never really knew whether they always had a personal doctor to take care of them.

As they all walked into a small room which hardly looked like anything Sam hadn't seen before, the doctor has gestured to Pamela and Jeremy to sit on the seats situated near the door of the room while she gestured to Sam to sit on the bed.

"So, are you ready to undergo this procedure?" The doctor asked immediately to Sam as she had prepared some equipment for the procedure.

"Whoa, already? I thought there was some paperwork or something to go with this..." Sam stating feeling rushed and surprised that it was already time.

"No," the doctor chuckled. "That's afterwards, but I will have a short talk with your parents before we get started."

Sam nodded and then saw the doctor sit at her desk and talk to her parents about whether she had eaten anything, was on any special medication and asking about the cast on her arm.

After this information was documented. Doctor Frimway had requested that Pamela and Jeremy leave the room and wait until Sam was done. They agreed and left the room, hoping that the abortion was a success.

Sam took in a deep breath and knew that this was it.

A few hours later, Sam had come out of the room and saw her parents anxiously waiting for her. Doctor Frimway had followed closely behind with a smile on her face, hinting that the abortion was a success. But she had waited until Pamela and Jeremy looked up to see them.

"Was it a success?" Pamela asked eagerly.

"Indeed it was." The doctor replied.

Pamela and Jeremy were overjoyed and hugged each other and then they hugged Sam. Sam was glad that it was over, and that all she had to focus on was getting her memory back and her grades.

It was around this time that Danny was having breakfast with a worried look on his face; he was worried that Sam had gone with the abortion. But he was also glad if she did because of the possibility of it not being his child. And again, he wasn't ready to be a father; he was still in school and living at home.

Not long later, Jazz had walked in the room already fully dressed with her handbag around her shoulder. She had opened the refrigerator to grab a quick snack before she began to walk out of the kitchen.

"Where are you going?" Danny asked.

"Out to see some friends, and then I'm off to do some studying." She answered with a smile.

"How is that going anyway? College that is?" He asked, trying to get his mind off of Sam and the baby.

Jazz shrugged and walked a few steps closer to Danny to answer his question.

"Oh, I would say it's going great. I've been receiving good feedback from my professor and I have been getting good grades on my exams. Why do you ask...? Oh..." Jazz began to realise why Danny was asking her about college, since she knew that he didn't really care about Jazz's life just as long as she was alive and safe.

"What?" Danny looked up, feeling slightly clueless but having a small idea of why Jazz had walked closer to him with a sympathetic expression on her face.

"You're worried about her."

Danny let out a large sigh as he closed his eyes and shifted his bowl of cereal out of the way so he could rest his head in his hands. "I know...I'm just trying not to think about it so much..."

Jazz rested a palm on Danny's shoulder in support, she saw that he didn't look up at her but she wasn't surprised.

"I understand, but I know how much you care about her. How about you give her a call?" She suggested.

Danny began to feel more tense and anxious about even thinking of calling Sam. He worried that she may have found out who the father was or whether she had gotten an abortion or not. He didn't know what to think of even attempting to call her.

"I don't know! It's just too hard to even try to pick up the phone! She might be getting an abortion right now and I just don't know about it!" He cried. "I don't know what to do..." He sighed hiding is face in his arms.

Jazz was about to reply when she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket, she grabbed her phone and saw that her friend had texted to ask whether she was on her way or not.

"Sorry Danny, I really wish I could help more but I have to go."

"Of course you do..." He mumbled as Jazz ran out the room in a hurry.

After a few moments of nothing silent sobbing, Danny wiped his eyes with his sleeve before getting up to put his leftover bowl of cereal in the sink. He then went back upstairs to sit on his bed and anxiously wait for Sam to call him or wait for his anxiety to go away so that he could call her.

He sat in his room for hours and hours. He missed lunch just staring at the ceiling, it was after three that he had finally received a phone call but unfortunately it wasn't from Sam but from Tucker.

Danny let out a moan and rolled his eyes in annoyance. "What does he want? I'm under enough pressure as it is if this is about school."

He opened his flip phone and called out a 'hello' before he heard Tucker talk in a very concerned tone.

"Danny, I need to talk to you. Are you alone?"

"Duh, I'm always alone these days..." He replied. "What is it? This better not be about school." He demanded.

"No, it's not. It's about Sam, have you heard from her yet?" He asked sounding very worried.

"Uh no, why? Is she hurt? Did she contact you? What did she tell you?"

Danny asked a thousand questions to Tucker which made it hard for Tucker to process all at once; he had to interrupt Danny so he could explain.

"Whoa whoa calm down man, one question at a time." He replied to Danny trying to calm him down.

Danny took in a deep breath before calmly asking the main question he wanted an answer to.

"Did she go through with it?"

Ha...I have to end it there unfortunately. So, how will Danny react to Sam's successful abortion? And what's with Sam's mother? Why did she go there so many years ago? The big question is: was the abortion an actual success? You should know that this story is still going to be heaps long so what do you think? *giggle*

I'll update when I can but hopefully within two weeks. ;)
