*Sigh* Still I'm in a Cars mood so I've been neglecting this story a little and working on my long Cars FanFic which I'll be uploading sometime soon, don't know when but I'm making great progress with it. Anyways, this Chapter is just gunna be longer like it usually is, because usually I do 4 pages worth of writing but I'll do 5 pages instead this time.

Now, I have been having a little trouble lately of keeping the amnesia part of this story at bay. So I have been struggling to keep the storyline intact and I think I'm already losing it. :( But I'll still try to hold on to it for as long as I can. And hopefully I don't take too much longer with this story because I can feel the plot thinning as we go.

So let's pray I can fix things up in this Chapter. Oh, and I'm still not sure how many chapters of this story are left. I'm guessing around 10 or less, but it may as well be 20 at this rate...-_- Okay I'm aiming for 10 more chapters including this one to finish the story.

Well, better not talk anymore. Enjoy Chapter 20! ^^

DP (C) Butch Hartman

As Danny made his way over to Sam, he thought long and hard about what to say to her, after all they had both found out, he wasn't sure whether he could contain his emotions. His intense feelings of anger and sadness began to rise every step closer he took.

Sam looked up, and knew that she shouldn't have worn mascara; it was too easy to tell from her face that she was upset about the situation and didn't want Danny making it worse than it already was. Danny was less than a foot away from the two of them, Tucker wanted to say something but came to a completely blank mind once he did. Tucker could tell that the expressions on both their faces were the same; confused and upset.

"Um...hi." Danny finally said after an awkward moment of silence and scratching the back of his neck in nervousness.

"That's all you can say after everything?" Sam asked, sounding annoyed and upset.

Sam's emotions were getting the best of her, this was exactly what she didn't want to happen but she couldn't help it. The second she saw Danny her emotions controlled her every word and action.

"Sam, please. I can't talk about that now, why don't we just sit down and have a normal conversation?" Danny asked, trying to not let his temper rise.

As soon as Danny said the word normal, a certain emotion clicked in both Tucker's mind and Sam's. Tucker's was the feeling of intense worry, should Danny have used that word? Tucker thought. Meanwhile Sam felt pressure rise inside her, she knew that ever since Danny became half ghost their lives have never been normal.

"Normal...? Normal!? Are you crazy?!" Sam shouted, almost to the point that she was going to shove Danny.

Tucker looked around, and saw that a few others were watching this scene, Sam's voice only made more and more people watch in amusement to watch a couple fight in an argument. He winced in embarrassment as he couldn't think of anything to do to stop this situation from progressing any further without him making it any worse.

"Our lives have never been normal since that day of that accident!" Sam exclaimed pointing a finger at Danny.

Danny and Tucker knew that this situation was getting out of hand; it was exactly what they didn't want to happen. Danny regretted saying that word to her; he should've known that their lives weren't normal because of him. He sometimes regretted ever becoming part ghost in the first place because sometimes he wished he just had a normal life.

"Why are we fighting? It's over now so why are you still upset over about it?!" Danny snapped, exclaiming the fact that the abortion was a success and Sam had nothing to worry about.

"Um...guys...?" Tucker interrupted nervously as he saw more than a dozen people listening in on Sam and Danny's argument. "We've got company."

Danny wanted to assume that it was a ghost so he could put an end to this argument and think about things, but when he looked up the only thing he saw was his embarrassed and worried best friend along with many people watching with snippets of giggles, laughter, and shock.

"Hey, leave us alone okay?" Danny stated, putting his hands on Sam's shoulders, before Sam abruptly shoved them off.

"Are you two breaking up?" One of the people who were watching asked.

Sam looked down with an angered expression as she wiped her nose with her sleeve before looking at the person who asked that question with her piercing angry eyes.

"Oh you'd like that wouldn't you!? You want a piece of me!?" She shouted at the person, who became extremely frightened by Sam's sudden change in attitude.

"Sam, calm down." Danny said in an annoyed tone, wanting to end this argument before it got any worse.

"I can't help it!" Sam cried as tears began to stream down her face. "I don't know what's wrong with me!"

It was all too much for Sam, in the back of her mind she was thinking as to why she was acting this way towards her own boyfriend. She tried to think that it had something to do with finding out that Danny was going to be a father as well as him possibly taking advantage of her. It was a lot to take in, but since the abortion was a success why was she so traumatised by everything that happened? It was over, so she shouldn't be upset, but the tears streaming down her face said otherwise.

Danny felt an intense worry towards Sam, she rarely acted this way, even in ghost fights she would never release this much anger out on something or someone. She would usually keep it to herself, even if the situation was very heated like the argument they were having at the moment.

Sam had her eyes squeezed shut, she didn't want anyone seeing her like this, but she knew that many people were staring her including Danny and Tucker. All she wanted to do at that very moment was wake up and hope that all that has happened so far was just one big bad dream.

But when she opened her eyes again, she saw the looks on everyone's faces. Some were amused while others looked worried and some shocked even, she turned to Danny to see the worry and frustration on his face, Tucker was only worried and confused as to why Sam was behaving this way.

She began to sob more as she covered her eyes and ran away from the crowd, Danny quickly sped after her but as soon as she ran into the girl's bathroom he stopped following her and let her have some time to herself.

The remainder of the school day, Danny and Tucker didn't see Sam at all, they waved past the girl's bathroom a few times and even past the classes she was supposed to have, but couldn't find her anywhere. During lunch break Danny went to Sam's house just to quickly check if she had gone home, he still refused to check the girl's bathroom because if she was in there he would leave her alone.

Sam had stayed in the girl's bathroom the entire school day until she knew that the students had all left the building for home. Throughout the school day she heard some girls come in and comment on the events relating to her and Danny.

"Can you believe it? I've never seen that Goth girl lose it!"

"I know, but I hope she dumps Danny. I've wanted to out with him for a while now, don't know why though. It's like ever since Danny Phantom came to town Danny Fenton just seemed much hotter for some reason."

The girls continued to talk about Danny as they left the bathroom, when they left Sam closed her eyes for a moment and took in a deep breath. Breaking up wasn't on her mind until those two girls mentioned it. Was Sam's life becoming far too complicated for her to be with Danny?

She began to think what her life would've been like if she had never met Danny. She knew how Danny's life would turn out but she wouldn't know how hers would've turned out. Nothing came to mind; it seemed that she had known Danny almost her entire life.

Blank, nothing but blank came to mind. She had known Danny for so long that she couldn't think outside of her life being with him, and he was the one person she cared about the most. Unfortunately at that moment she wasn't 100% sure about it.

After all what happened, she couldn't think about the future being nothing but...normal.

Normal. The word that made her cringe every time it was mentioned by someone else or in her mind. She couldn't ever think of her life being too normal, but sometimes she wished it was just normal from time to time, not all the time but she wanted to distance herself from Danny's ghost life, just not as much as Danny wanted to. It was almost always on his mind nowadays, it seemed to get too repetitive for him.

So, when it was silent and the home bell had rung more than half an hour ago, Sam decided to head home but knew that at least Danny would be finding her soon enough. She knew how much he cared about her.

Yet, she was surprised to see that Danny didn't bother her at all that day. She knew how overprotective Danny could be and this was one of the only times in which Danny wasn't by her side trying to figure out what's wrong with her. Sam hoped that Danny didn't assume it was a girl's thing every month, but she had only just had her abortion so she wasn't sure when to expect her monthly friend next, and also for the fact that she couldn't exactly remember due to her amnesia.

Danny and Sam's amnesia had progressed well; although it was still there some holes were filled while some were still left open. They both worried will they both remember absolutely everything that happened? Danny was surprised that Sam actually remembered more than he did, perhaps it was when the accident happened that possibly he was closer but then again his ghost powers should be able to heal him quicker. He was starting to think that ghost powers don't bring back broken memories.

As Sam reached her house, she went inside and saw both her parents at the table having afternoon tea. Jeremy was reading a newspaper while Pamela was sitting quietly with her legs crossed one over the other while she stirred in more sugar with her tea. Sam went upstairs, expecting her parents to ask about first day back at school but she raised her eyebrows in surprise when she entered her room that they didn't even talk to her as to why she had gotten home almost an hour later than usual. It was strange, but it wasn't for long because Sam began to hear footsteps as she placed her bag down and opened it up to get her study books out for later.

"Samantha?" Pamela called out as she approached her daughter's room and walked on in. "How was your first day back?" She asked with a small smile.

"Well, first I'm glad you actually care today about school and today was fine." Sam replied, having her back turned to her mother as she rummaged through her books to keep her mind occupied.

"Have you spoken to Danny?"

As soon as she said his name, Sam froze in shock as the emotions began to reach the surface. Sam quickly occupied herself to prevent her emotions from coming out.

"Yes, and we're still together. We're going to work things out eventually."

"Oh..." Pamela replied, feeling disappointed. "You know, if he was the reason we had to give you that abortion then I don't think he'd be a good choice for you in your life." Pamela explained in a kind tone, which scared Sam.

"Why are you acting so kind to me lately? Is it because I was going to be a mom?" Sam asked turning towards her mother with a raised eyebrow, changing the subject so her emotions wouldn't pour out on her.

Pamela sighed as she sat on the bed and gestured Sam quietly to sit on the bed with her, by the looks of her expression and the sound of her saddened sigh, this wasn't going to be good news.

"You see...well...you remember the abortion clinic we went to?" She asked, knowing that Sam would remember the clinic since she was only there a few days ago.

"Well yeah, why?" Sam asked, before remembering what Pamela had told her a while ago. "Wait, you said you went there and would never go there again."

"Yes..." Pamela replied with a heavy sigh as she closed her eyes. "Well, the reason I went there was because...was because of you."

Sam immediately grew wide eyed and clenched the sheets on her bed with her hand, she couldn't believe it. Pamela was actually thinking of not letting her even exist! Sam thought as Pamela continued the story.

"Jeremy and I went there because we weren't ready to be parents at the time. We weren't young teenagers; we just weren't ready for a family. But when I walked into that clinic...the horror on my face...I just couldn't let you go."

It was the same feeling that Sam had felt right before she had gotten the abortion. Again, Sam was still surprised that her mother was telling her this sort of stuff. Usually her mother would rarely reveal anything about what happened before Sam was born, it seemed very strange to Sam, almost too strange. But she could tell that it was still her mother telling her all this.

"Wha-why not?" Sam asked, possibly already knowing the answer.

"It's a motherly thing. And I'm glad you didn't feel that way when you had your abortion."

She was on the inside, Sam thought to herself with an expression of insult on her face. It wasn't her choice she was forced into it.

"Now you'll be able to live a successful life and when you're ready you can have children." Pamela stated in a caring tone as she caressed Sam's cheek and then brushed some of her black hair behind her ear with her hand.

Sam shoved Pamela's hand off, feeling extremely weirderd out by how her mother was acting. "Um, why are you acting like this? You're never on the same level as I am. You're usually against me." Sam stated, almost insulting her mother right in front of her.

"I know, but when we found out that you were pregnant I felt a strong connection to you. It was just like what happened to me, except you chose to give up your child and live a successful and normal life."

There was that word again; normal. It made Sam's emotions boil up inside her up until the point in which she couldn't contain her anger anymore.

"Normal life!? I didn't choose to give it up, you did! I'm nearly 18 and you're still controlling my life as if it was the life you wanted by chose not to because of some horror freak out you had when you went to kill me!" Sam snapped, jumping off the bed and pointing a finger at her mother.

Tears came to Pamela's eyes, but anger returned to prevent those tears from getting worse. "We are only doing what is best for you! We don't want you making the same mistake we did!"

Sam gasped, she was a mistake, and Pamela admitted it to her. Sam was never meant to happen, she knew from what Pamela told her a moment ago that she was planning to get rid of her in the first place but chose not to in the end. Now Pamela was calling her a mistake.

"I was a mistake!? Then why did you keep me!? You had the option!" Sam cried, before adding her story to the situation. "I had an option! Why didn't you let me choose what I wanted!?"

Pamela was feeling hurt, confused, and angered by what Sam was telling her. She was beginning to think that this was the Sam she didn't know, usually the Sam she knew would completely ignore the situation and ask her to leave, not keep it at bay and continue to boil it.

"Are you okay Sam? You don't seem like yourself?" Pamela asked with concern.

"Oh don't you dare change the topic now! Answer me!" Sam demanded.

"Young lady, you are staying in here until you can get your hormones under control! I don't want to continue this argument any more; you stay in here until you've got your emotions back together!" Pamela lectured her before she left the room and almost slammed the door shut.

Sam threw her plush bat at the door, making a small thud sound before falling onto the floor. Sam plumped onto her bed in tears. She had no idea what was wrong with her.

"What is wrong with me!? Why am I having these mood swings all of a sudden!?"

Whatever the reason was, this was definitely not a good day for Sam. And she went to sleep that night with horrible nightmares about her future normal life that could possibly be without Danny.

Overall, the first day back at school was horrible.

Damn, Sam went through a lot in that Chapter didn't she? And what's with her mood swings? Is it Mother Nature coming around for a monthly 5 day meeting? Or is it something more? You'll have to wait and see in the next chapter. Oh, and expect possible time skips, not actual time skips but like "a month later" sort of thing, just so I can get this story moving along, don't want this story going on forever you know. ;)

So expect the next Chapter in the next 2 weeks or so. Until Chapter 21, I'll see you then! ^^
