So, this IS the final chapter, next will be the epilogue. I'll talk more about that at the end of this Chapter. Until then, enjoy the big finale of Forgetful Love! ^^

DP (C) Butch Hartman

It was New Year's Eve; it was time for a celebration. That night everyone had gathered at Danny and Sam's place for drinks and a small party with the sound of the radio playing in the background and each parent talking happily to one another.

Not long later was the arrival of Jazz and her boyfriend Kris. Everyone greeted them, but Maddie and Jack were the first to approach. Jack analysed the young man, while Maddie shook his hand in a friendly matter.

"Good to finally meet you Kris."

"Nice to meet you too Mrs Fenton." He replied, shaking her hand in response with a smile.

After a small talk with Jack and Maddie, Jazz walked Kris over to Danny and Sam to introduce them to him. At the time, Danny was wondering where Tucker was. He texted him but received no reply.

"Danny, Sam. I'd like you to meet Kris, my boyfriend." Jazz stated, gesturing to him.

Sam and Danny took a good look at the young man; he looked very suited to Jazz's type. Danny grew wide eyed when he realised that Jazz wasn't joking about how similar he looked to him. The resemblance was uncanny. It made Danny think why would Jazz date someone that looks almost exactly like their brother? It made his thoughts go off in a different direction while Sam was greeting Kris.

"Hi Kris, nice to meet you." She greeted with a smile.

"Hello Sam, Jazz has talked so much about you. And congratulations." He complimented, gesturing to her pregnant belly.

Sam half chuckled, loving the niceness and respect Kris had for other people, she definitely thought that he and Jazz were great together. "Thanks. I'm due on his birthday." She added, pointing to Danny who was staring into space.

Kris gave a confused look to Danny who seemed to be in his own little world; Sam nudged him before Kris said anything.

"Huh? Oh, hi Kris. It's great to finally meet you." He said, shaking his hand. "Sorry, I'm just worried where our best friend Tucker is." He explained

Kris smiled in reply before he saw the ring on Sam's finger. "That's alright. Oh, I see you're engaged too? Well, you two are in for a bumpy and exciting experience! Not that I have experienced it but I've heard from others that it's a thrilling adventure to get married and have kids." He explained, looking at Jazz with adoring eyes.

Jazz blushed, she knew what he was thinking, but it was way too soon for anything like that. She shyly looked down at the ground and intertwined her fingers with an adorable smile.

As the night went on, Danny got to have a few drinks with Kris and get to know him better while Jazz discussed with Sam her relationship and Sam done the same, while the parents carried on chatting and doing their own little thing until it was a minute left till midnight.

Sam had just felt another kick when Jack called out to everyone to raise their glasses. Sam felt like the oddball since she couldn't drink but she was happy with her orange juice, she didn't mind the sweet, acidic taste it had as it landed in her mouth.

"Everyone! There's less than a minute left till the New Year is here, so everyone raise your glasses and cheers for how extraordinary this year has been."

"Especially for Danny and Sam." Jazz implied, filling up her glass a little more.

"Here's to Samantha. We love you darling." Pamela said, looking at her daughter with an adoring smile.

"And our strapping young boy Danny! Good luck to the both of you!" Jack called out, raising his glass even further.

After the toast was made, it was time for the countdown. In synchronisation, everyone started from ten and made their way down to one. As soon as they all said zero, the New Year had begun and Danny and Sam shared their first moments of the New Year in a passionate kiss while Jazz and Kris did the same.

It had been a crazy year for Danny and Sam, first starting out with school, then pleasure, and then disaster. But now it was turning out to be filled with much hope and certainty that everything was going to be alright for a little while, they knew things wouldn't be perfect all the time, they just had to embrace the best moments they shared together.

Later, after everyone went home, Danny was aching to touch Sam again and please her for the start of the New Year, but he saw that she was way too exhausted from standing for most of the time at the New Year's party, and he knew that she would usually fall asleep before she did. So he tucked her in bed while he went downstairs to prep the ghost hunting equipment and ensure that they wouldn't hurt him.

It was two weeks later, Sam was feeling like she would have a breakdown, she knew that there wasn't long to go now but yet the finish line still felt too far out to reach. She endured so much aching pain and cravings that some nights she couldn't help but break down and scream in Danny's face for what he had done to her.

Half the time Danny did not take it lightly, and left her alone for the night and slept at his parents' house. However, with some questioning from his mother, he found out that she was just having mood swings from how much pressure her body was under, carrying one child was enough, but twins was worse. And he couldn't do anything but blame himself for it.

When Sam wasn't going crazy at him, she would be wrapped in his arms demanding pleasurable attention or just wanting to comfort him and apologise for how she had been acting around him and what she was saying to him. By this point he knew that it was because of all the hormones messing around in Sam's body that made her say all those awful things. He apologised too for shutting her out almost every time she said something terrible to him and they hugged warmly in embrace.

It was time for the seven month check up from Doctor Maddingly, it was this time that Danny's parents would come along with them to see the progress of Sam's pregnancy. In those past two weeks, aching pain, annoying kicks at the wrong time, the weird feeling of an arm or leg reaching out from within her stomach, mood swings and being unable to do practically anything on her own anymore were a constant struggle and she hated it. Things were only getting worse for her, and as she remembered how long she had to go, it made her cry and feel like giving up.

They arrived at the hospital; Danny's parents weren't too far behind them. They had just walked to the entrance when they heard a screeching sound and turned to see his parents RV stopped harshly at a parking spot. Danny rolled his eyes, his parents always didn't know whether to park in a certain area or not. It annoyed Jazz and Danny very much back when they were younger.

"Typical Mom and Dad." Danny said before assisting Sam into the front room and to the lift.

Not far behind them were Jack and Maddie, who called out to them to ensure that they were coming. Danny and Sam stopped for a brief moment and waved to them before pressing the up button for the lift.

Jack and Maddie caught up to them just before the lift had arrived, Maddie hugged the young couple individually with warmth and adoration while Jack patted his son very hard on the back, making Danny wince in slight pain from his Dad's force.

"It's finally great we get to go to one of these." Jack stated with a smile.

"Oh I just can't wait to see my grandchildren on the little screen!" Maddie exclaimed, clasping her hands together next to her cheek in excitement.

As they made their way to the waiting area to ask for Doctor Maddingly, surprisingly their doctor was at the reception desk with some files in hand and appeared to be talking to one of the other staff before she looked up to see Danny and Sam.

"Ah, Sam and Danny. Perfect timing. I was just telling my colleague a little about you two." She said, before looking towards the left to see two older adults, looking to be parents. "Oh, you two must be Danny's parents. A pleasure to meet you." She greeted with a handshake to both of them.

"We are just so glad we get to be here." Maddie exclaimed, not being able to wait any longer.

Doctor Maddingly smiled pleasantly in reply as they all made their way to her office, as soon as they arrived, Sam headed straight for the bed and sighed with relief that she could finally lay down and relax just for a moment.

"I see you've been having a stressful time, so have you had any movement? Any cramps, aching pain?" She asked as she prepped the ultrasound equipment.

"Please tell me that they're temporary...they're driving me insane!" Sam cried, resting her hand on her forehead.

The doctor chuckled and shook her head. "I'm sorry Sam, but they'll last almost for the rest of your pregnancy. But the good news is that the pain will be all gone before you even start to have contractions." She explained, moving her chair closer to the bed and moving the ultrasound equipment too.

Sam rolled her eyes and groaned loudly, she didn't want to endure anymore pain. She just wanted to have her normal body back. "Why is being a woman so hard!?"

"Sam, I envy you, just so you know. I wish I could share your pain." Danny said, inching his chair a little closer to Sam.

"I understand, and I don't know the pain of twins, but I certainly know the pain of just bearing one child. But just remember Sam that once you see two little babies in your arms you'll forget all about it." Maddie assured her.

It wasn't long later that Doctor Maddingly had applied the gel to Sam's stomach and was now using her probe to look around for the twins. She found them almost within an instant and heard their heartbeats on the monitor.

Just like last time, it was a very precious moment, expect this time it was Jack and Maddie who were speechless. Eyes were glued to the monitor, Maddie speechless and tears developing which engulfed her vision. She and Jack couldn't believe what their son had created, it was beautiful.

"What are their genders?" Maddie asked after a long time gazing at the monitor.

Danny almost felt startled by his mother's sudden question in which they had discussed a long time ago.

"Oh, mom we've decided not to find out until the very end." Danny implied.

Maddie looked at Jack with concern, they liked that they kept it a surprise but they wanted to know personally what gender they were going to be so that they could buy gifts for them and not have to buy things that were unisex.

"Well, I hope it doesn't trouble you but we'd like to know the gender of the twins. It's just so that we can buy the right gifts for them at the baby shower."

Sam and Danny looked up almost immediately after they heard that word. Both were caught in the moment and didn't know how to properly react. "Baby shower!?" They both exclaimed.

"Since when were we having a baby shower?" Sam asked, raising an eyebrow.

Jack chuckled, seeing that it was funny Sam should ask such a thing. "Well ever since we knew we were going to be grandparents!" He exclaimed.

After some debate on whether they should have a baby shower or not, they both in the end agreed. They needed the money anyway to finish up on the kid's room as there were still a few things left to buy.

So after a while of probing Sam's belly, Doctor Maddingly was about to stop when she saw one of the twins move their hand upwards. She pointed it out to Sam and told her she should be feeling a nudge, but somehow Sam didn't feel anything. However it did make Danny's ghost sense go off, luckily no one saw.

"Did you feel it?" The doctor asked with an excited smile.

Sam wanted to be honest, but it would confuse Jack and Maddie, and most importantly the doctor. So she just gave a sheepish smile and nodded. Maddie felt so attached to Sam at that very moment that she wanted to hug her and never let go.

It wasn't long after that a few tests were done and then Danny and Sam proceeded to leave. They had allowed Jack and Maddie to know the gender of the twins but they had to make sure not to tell anyone else as well as not making it too obvious they were boys or girls, or both. Jack and Maddie agreed and decided to keep their hints subtle about their genders.

As two weeks went by, Sam started to feel more uncomfortable every night of sleep that went past as she was beginning to enter her third trimester. Danny and Sam had not had a pleasurable night of love making since New Year's. They both could see that Sam was getting too uncomfortable at this stage so they decided to wait after the babies were born before they would do it again.

They were both out shopping, Danny had the day off from work from all the extra work he had been doing around there. He was going to ask for a raise but decided to wait a little longer before doing anything. So they went in and out of several baby shops, they had mainly bought some unisex clothes, toys and a whole lot of diapers. Danny was worried that they all weren't going to fit into the car, but somehow they did.

With some new clothes, toys and a whole lot of nappies for the twins, they drove home and when they opened the door they were greeted with a pleasant yet unexpected surprise.

"Baby Shower!" Everyone shouted at the young couple.

To their surprise they saw Jack, Maddie, Pamela, Jeremy, Tucker, Jazz and Kris all there surprising them with a baby shower. However they knew this was coming, they just didn't know when. They looked around as they saw presents and card piled on the coffee table while a few streamers and a banner hung on the wall. Most of all, they saw the lovely smiles on everyone's faces.

"Wow." Danny said, almost stunned.

"You did all of this?" Sam asked, looking around the place in amazement of the decorations and gifts.

Pamela walked up to Sam to give her a warm heartfelt hug. "All for you my little Samantha."

Maddie and Jack raised an eyebrow; it seemed that Pamela wasn't giving Danny appreciation to his role in the family. It concerned them enough to speak up. Jazz grew concerned too, but saw that Jack and Maddie were about to speak.

"Um, excuse me Pamela. But I believe you mean Danny and Sam, not just your daughter."

Pamela took this as a somewhat insult as to how she adored her child, giving a glare she replied with. "Excuse me but I'll love my daughter the way I want to. And you can love your son the same way." She implied firmly.

Tucker walked over to Danny, worried and uncomfortable as to where this was leading.

"Dude, I don't like this. And happy baby shower." He whispered, pointing to his gift on the table.

Danny looked down and saw that the shape of Tucker's present made it all too obvious what he had given them. Danny looked up at Tucker with a smirk before looking back at his parents.

Maddie narrowed her eyebrows at Pamela, seeing that Pamela wasn't acknowledging Danny started to make her feel furious. "You should take into consideration that both Danny and Sam are tying this family together, don't shut our family out of it."

"Well we just take more kindly to our daughter than to your son." Jeremy stated firmly, resting his hands on his daughter's shoulder.

Danny and Sam didn't know what to say in this situation, so instead they both sat down on the couch and started opening cards together, and hoping that opening the gifts given to them would distract their parents. Unfortunately they didn't.

"You should be taking equal consideration, our son is just as important as your daughter is." Jack exclaimed, gesturing to Danny.

"Well our child is suffering because of him! He knocked her up with twins and she's doing everything else! He is just sitting on the sidelines doing nothing!" Pamela cried.

This hit Danny close to the heart and forced him to intervene. "Now hold on here, I am doing everything I can in my power to help Sam get through this!" He exclaimed, pointing a finger at Sam's parents.

Jazz knew that this feud was only getting worse, gently pushing Kris aside to sit with Sam, she shouted at everyone so that they would all quieten down.

"Listen, all of you! Both Danny and Sam are taking in as much of this as they can and are trying to balance it the best they can! They obviously can't do that if you guys bring the negativity on them!" Jazz explained, more direct to Pamela and Jeremy.

Kris got back up, wanting to help. "Now, how about we all just enjoy this baby shower?" He asked, holding his hands up to block both parents off.

Everyone decided that this argument was definitely not the right time to have it. Although they were all still steamy about it as Danny and Sam started unwrapping gifts, they kept their cool for their sake.

So all four parents sat down around their kids as Sam opened the first gift, which turned out to be from Jazz. It was a collection of children's books to read to the twins when they would sleep, it made Sam smile gleefully as she looked at the colourful and bright images on each cover.

"Thanks Jazz." Sam said, followed along by Danny saying it too.

Sam handed the books to Danny so she could grab the next present, Danny took a good look at the books Jazz had given them, he certainly knew Jazz would pick these kinds of books, one of them was about a child growing up to be smart.

"I found them a few weeks ago on my way to lunch with Kris; I decided that they would make a great gift for the two of you." Jazz explained, smiling happily as she nuzzled Kris's neck a little.

The next gift they opened was from Tucker, Danny smirked at Tucker the entire time he was unwrapping it because he already knew what it was.

"A Kid's TV I knew it! That's why I saw you at work the other day!" Danny pointed out, laughing a little.

Tucker shrugged with a smirk. "Well I was hoping that you wouldn't be there but then I saw you so I just had to buy something or talk to you." He explained, giving a sheepish smile.

Pamela scanned the gift, it didn't seem appropriate for babies to have fun with; she asked to have a look at it and then asked Jeremy to have a look also. Their concerning looks gave away what they were going to say.

"This is not suited for babies." Pamela stated, handing it back to Danny.

Jack intruded, remembering that he grew up watching television and it didn't affect him. "Hey my Dad used to sit me in front of the television and I'm perfectly fine!" He exclaimed, pointing to the TV box in Danny's hands.

There was an awkward of silence before Sam shouted happily that she was going to be opening the next gift. This next gift was from her parents. The present was neatly wrapped in a pink and blue covering, seeing that they hoped that she would give birth to both a boy and a girl. Danny sat closer to her while Jazz and Kris held each other's hands, they all enjoyed this moment, and loved that even with tensions between the feuding parents was high, the younger ones were able to handle things well.

Sam opened the present and gasped when she saw what it was, before she said anything she tugged on Danny's shirt for him to look closer, even though he was already looking at it.

It was a cradle with bath supplies, toys and a couple of cushions neatly wrapped underneath a yellow bow. It made Sam's eyes water, and make her realise even more how much her parents cared for her.

"A baby hamper...Thanks mom and dad!" She cried happily.

Pamela rested her head on her husband's shoulder in adoration of how happy their daughter was, just the sight of Sam smiling made then overjoyed.

"It was all for you Samantha." Pamela stated with a happy sigh.

Maddie and Jack glared at Sam's parents once again, seeing that they still didn't acknowledge their side of the family yet. But before either of them could say anything, Jazz cleared her throat to get their attention and shook her head in sign that they shouldn't argue now.

So they remained quiet but still gave a glare towards Pamela and Jeremy as Danny and Sam unwrapped the rest of the presents.

Jack and Maddie had given them more to do with ghost hunting equipment, but some of the gadgets looked so tiny that they could fit on a baby's wrist. It did lead to some concerns from the Manson's. But when they saw Sam smiling and thanking the Fenton's they decided not to discuss that problem right now.

It was around half an hour later that Danny and Sam had opened all the gifts and cards, and were now both having a better look at all the gifts given to them.

"So, have you two thought about those names we suggested a while ago?" Maddie asked, while drinking a cup of afternoon coffee.

This caught Danny and Sam off guard, they hadn't really been discussing it since they were more concerned with how Danny's ghost powers would be affecting Sam this whole time, and yet nothing much had happened so far to affect Sam in any way, she only had her normal pregnancy symptoms along with Danny's ghost sense going off every time she walked into the room and when she felt like an arm or a leg kicking through her stomach.

"Oh...well, we've been kind of busy worrying about other things to think much about names." Danny explained with a shrug of feeling unsure.

"Sorry, but it's true. We have been busy with finalising the kid's rooms, Danny's job, this pregnancy and how it's driving me crazy..." Sam added, gesturing how much else they had to worry about with counting her fingers.

Maddie and Jack looked at each other with a smile, knowing that what they were going through was a similar ordeal to when they were first expecting parents. Pamela and Jeremy understood too, Pamela remembered all the pain and sickness she had when she was pregnant with Sam, she had the worst fights with Jeremy during those times.

"Sam, don't worry, these problems will pass in time." Jazz assured Sam, patting her shoulder.

"It's alright, dear. To be honest I couldn't stand your father when I was pregnant with you." Pamela stated, resting a hand on Jeremy's shoulder.

Sam looked up at her mother and smiled, knowing that she wasn't alone, Danny however felt a little left out, up until Jack comforted him with words of assurance.

"No need to worry Danny, as soon as you two see those babies all your problems will melt away."

Danny smiled gladly at his father, thanking him for understanding and giving him assurance that things would be alright in the end. "Thanks Dad." He replied.

"Now, back to baby names. How about Lily for a girl?" Maddie suggested.

"Albert?" Jazz added.

"Or Thomas! If you have a boy or two boys..." Kris added.

"Tucker Junior!" Tucker exclaimed excitedly, clasping his hands in front of his mouth.

Danny and Sam gave a creepy glare towards Tucker, which made Tucker back away a little.

"Okay...no Tucker junior then..." He said with a saddened sigh.

Tucker felt a pat on the back and turned to see that it was Danny assuring him that it was okay. "Don't worry, when you have kids someday you can name them Tucker junior."

"But what if I have girls? Then what am I supposed to call them?!" He cried.

After more name suggestions and Danny and Sam shaking their heads in no to almost all the suggestions made by everyone, Danny called out to everyone to stop suggesting names and quiet down just for a moment. He looked at Sam who seemed like she had something she wanted to say.

"Look, you all have such amazing names to pick from. But I'm afraid that names won't be picked out until both Danny and I see their faces." Sam explained, resting a hand on Danny's hand, holding tightly.

The couples looked at each other with concern, seeing that Danny and Sam were right about the names. In their parent's experiences they had only decided the names once they saw their face after they were born. Jack remembered that he named Jazz and Maddie named Danny, while Pamela named Sam.

"We understand, Samantha." Pamela assured her.

"We just want you to have some in mind once you see them." Jeremy added, resting his shoulders on Pamela's.

Danny and Sam smiled, seeing that everyone was happy with when they were going to decide on names. It was then that Kris made one last suggestion of a name before standing up again.

"One last suggestion, how about Ben?"

Danny and Sam looked at each other and then shrugged. "We'll see when the time comes." Danny replied, looking at Sam with an adoring smile.

So afterwards, Jazz and Kris had left to go study, Tucker left too while Pamela and Jeremy stayed to cook dinner for the two of them. Jack and Maddie wanted to help also but saw that the Manson's had dinner taken care of. It was then that Jack and Maddie had decided to help Danny and Sam with the ghost hunting equipment.

After dinner, both parents left and this gave Danny and Sam the chance to set up and finalise the rest of the babies' room. Diapers were placed next to the change table; new gifts were unwrapped and neatly placed in certain areas, some of the toys went into a small toy chest while the soft toys were in the cradle and cribs.

Until around midnight, they had prepared all they had to on the babies' room. The two of them felt exhausted and organised. They gave each other a romantic and sweet kiss before heading off to bed.

The next morning, Sam had woken up to a strange green glow coming from her stomach. Her first initial reaction was screaming in fear, this made Danny jump awake and immediately ask Sam what was wrong before going ghost.

"What's wrong Sam, is it time!?" Danny asked in a hurry, ripping the bed sheet off to quickly transform and be prepared for battle.

"Danny, my belly...it's glowing green!" She cried, gesturing to her stomach with both arms.

Danny sighed in relief that it wasn't a ghost kidnapping Sam or anything like that; he floated back down onto the bed and rubbed Sam's stomach. It was then that the green glow intensified to Danny's touch, it made the couple gasp in surprise.

"What is that?" Sam asked, curious and worried.

Danny continued to rub her belly, feeling strong movement from within and feel like speaking to the belly, as if he felt a strong connection from within. He had rubbed Sam's belly before, but now he seemed to feel a stronger connection. It didn't take him long to realise that he was still in ghost form.

"It's the ghost half of them...they're developing." He stated, before talking more to the belly and making Sam feel kicks in response.

Sam gasped, in sudden realisation that they were responding to Danny's voice. "I think they can hear you."

This made a smile of glee and joy appear on Danny's face as he gently rested his head on Sam's belly, making his hair tickle Sam and making her giggle, feeling the tickling sensation of his hair on her.

"Hello there little ones...it's your daddy here." Danny whispered in a cutesy voice.

Sam felt a few kicks in response, one of which that gave the feeling of going right through her stomach, this caught Danny off guard as he felt a sudden cold chill before it quickly disappeared.

"The kids are developing their intangibility." Danny stated, feeling amazed that somehow ghost powers didn't harm Sam at all, yet her belly still glowed green.

"How do you make the green glowing stop?" Sam asked, worried whether this green glow will stay there for the rest of her pregnancy.

Not responding to Sam, Danny lifted his head and took in a deep breath before closing his eyes and resting both palms on Sam's stomach, seeing his hands glow too, she saw that he was figuring out how to stop the glow.

A moment later, the green glow began to diminish and Danny had turned back into his human form, sighing in relief.

"Don't worry, it was just their ghost energy radiating outwards. I took care of it." He assured Sam, caressing her cheek.

This green glowing stomach and other pregnancy signs went on for another week and a half. It was the weekend that Danny and Sam were expecting a visit from both their parents; luckily Danny ensured that Sam's stomach wouldn't glow green while they were around. Sam was approaching 30 weeks into her pregnancy, and has now started her third trimester. She was feeling worse by the day and wished that they would come out already, unfortunately she knew she didn't have much long to go until the twins would be ready.

There was a knock at the door around 3pm; it was Danny's parents Jack and Maddie. Not following a long way after were Sam's parents. All in which had happy smiles up until they saw each other. It was just to be a nice visit just to discuss things leading up to Sam's birth and even their marriage, which Sam's parents had much to discuss on.

Everyone sat on the couch with afternoon tea set on the coffee table in front of them, a few glares from each parent at the other couple were seen from Danny and Sam's perspective until Danny's cleared his throat to get their attention.

"So, Sam and I have fully organised the kid's room since yesterday." Danny stated, wrapping an arm around Sam.

Sam nodded with a smile, wanting to keep the mood positive. "Yep, we're very grateful for your gifts." She thanked.

"Oh it was nothing, dear." Maddie said with modesty. "We only wanted to ensure that you and your kids are safe from any ghost attack."

With that explanation, it made Pamela and Jeremy glare at them, it was one of the things that they never seem to grasp or fully understand about the Fenton's. They found ghost hunting too obnoxious and dangerous for their daughter to be living in.

Clearing her throat, Pamela replied to her daughter with modesty as well in thanks for her gift. Shortly after followed a few minutes of eating and looking around the place, before Jeremy spoke up next.

"Hey, I was just wondering if you two have discussed a birth plan yet? I mean I know you have less than two months to plan this, but I find it that you should be well prepared." He asked, reaching for another biscuit.

This caught Danny and Sam by surprise, it almost made Danny choke, but he managed to swallow the rest of his biscuit before clearing his throat. Sam bit her lower lip, they knew that they hadn't discussed it yet and weren't sure how their birth plan was going to work, worried that ghost powers might have an effect on the due date in which the twins would arrive.

Before either of them could speak, Jack spoke out in humour. "Well, when Maddie had Jazz and Danny we had no birth plan!" He said with a chuckle, making Maddie blush in embarrassment. "Maddie said she was ready to go and then we went, about an hour later she had a baby!"

Pamela and Jeremy paused themselves for a moment, with widened eyes of how different they truly were to them. This whole opposite family situation was starting to seem more like a Romeo and Juliet tale. They didn't want it to be that way but there was too much evidence for it to not point in that direction.

"Well, it seems like you two were too busy with ghost hunting to even think about your own children!" Pamela snapped.

Everyone except for Jeremy gasped in pure shock, Maddie and Jack scoffed her in disbelief of that statement.

"Excuse me!? Jack and I love our children more than we even love each other!" Maddie yelled, getting up and wrapping her arms around her son in protection.

Jack got up too and stood next to Maddie. "Yeah, we loved them even more than ghost hunting! Don't think about our family as some ghost hunting freaks!" Jack snapped.

Danny and Sam were really hoping that it wouldn't come to this, and they didn't know what to do to stop it, they both wished Jazz was here to fix it, but they had to realise that Jazz wouldn't always be there when situations like these would occur.

"Can't you go a day without mentioning ghosts!?" Jeremy snapped, pointing a finger.

Maddie gasped in disgust. "Ghosts are a constant threat to human kind!"

"They don't even exist!" Pamela yelled.

After this, all but ranting and words squished together were all that Danny and Sam could hear. Danny wanted to get up and calm them down, but he was afraid of what might happen afterwards. However, seeing that Danny wasn't doing anything, Sam was the one who spoke up.

She got out of her seat, and before she screamed she groaned loudly. "Can you guys quit it!? We are here to enjoy afternoon tea, not feud!" Sam cried, feeling tears coming to her eyes.

Danny immediately stood up and rubbed her shoulders to calm her down. The room fell silent after that, and nothing but the sound of biscuits being crunched on and the sound of Sam moaning in pain because of her aching pains, which made Danny almost panic.

When it was time for them to leave, Danny had a brief word with his parents while Sam done the same with her parents.

"Look, I know how important ghost hunting is, but these guys just don't understand it and I don't think they ever will." Danny explained, using gestures towards Jeremy and Pamela.

Maddie and Jack glared at them in disgust before looking back at Danny. "Now I know they don't understand, but they must accept the fact that once a Fenton steps into someone else's family, ghosts will be a serious threat to them." Maddie stated firmly.

"Yeah, you do know about all the ghosts that come through our portal ever since I fixed it four years ago."

Danny remembered when his Dad fixed the ghost portal; it was shortly after he had gotten his ghost powers. Danny rubbed his neck nervously, thinking back to when he got his ghost powers and gave a sheepish smile.

"Yeah, I know." He replied. "But, just give it time okay?"

Jack and Maddie looked at each other, after a sigh from Maddie; she rested her hands on Danny's shoulders with a small adoring smile.

"We just want to make sure that you and Sam are well protected from any ghost attack." She assured him, hugging him in the process.

Meanwhile, Sam was doing the same to her parents, but felt more embarrassed and annoyed about it.

"Could you two just understand that the Fenton's enjoy ghost hunting just as much as they love their kids? What if you two had a hobby that you couldn't stop talking about it because you loved it so much?" Sam asked, hoping that it would smack some sense into them.

Pamela sighed, but stood her ground firmly as she could see the anger in Sam's eyes and how it was pushing her nerves. "Look young lady, we just want our grandchildren to grow up healthy and normal."

Sam looked down, knowing Danny's ghost powers and all the symptoms she had been having throughout her pregnancy indicated that the twins were never going to be normal in the first place. Wanting to not say anything about the ghost powers, she curved her way out of it.

"I know that but mom, you just need to understand that there are many different kinds of normal." Sam explained, lowering her tone to a more sympathetic one.

Jeremy eyed the Fenton's with a suspicious glare before looking back towards her daughter, knowing that the Fenton's were nowhere near normal, or to even reach their expectations. "I don't think they're anywhere close to normal, ghost hunting is not a normal thing to be doing!" He exclaimed.

This made Sam feel impatient and annoyed again, she grunted in annoyance and pain because of her aching body. "Just understand that the Fenton's are a part of our lives now, you're going to have to accept the fact that ghost hunting will be involved. I do assure you that Danny won't be teaching the kids any ghost hunting techniques anytime soon." She assured them, still sounding annoyed.

Pamela and Jeremy looked at each other in thought, and then, with calmer expressions they turned to their daughter.

"Okay, we'll let them off the hook for now." Jeremy stated, giving one last glance at the Fenton's.

This made Sam smile slightly, knowing that her parents wouldn't accept ghost hunting for long, they had tried to tolerate it many times before but it was all they could hear from the Fenton's and it was very frustrating.

"Just remember, I don't think for now will last very long." Pamela added, with her hands on her hips firmly.

It wasn't long later that the parents had left Danny and Sam and drove away in opposite directions.

As a week went by, Danny had been making sure that whenever Sam left the house that her stomach wasn't glowing. This glowing happened every few days and it made Sam worry that the ghost powers developing in the children would have an impact on her body. It made Danny freak out almost every time it happened, but he tried to keep it calm and stop the glowing temporarily before Sam left the house.

The week was slow and agonising for both Danny and Sam, Danny was trying to work more shifts but his manager could tell why and wasn't happy about him constantly asking for a raise. Sam was lacking in sleep, she could feel the kicks and intangible kicks every hour and it was distracting her from her daily activities. Her walking was feeling worse as she felt an intense amount of pressure against her bladder, making sleep almost impossible without three or four bathroom breaks in-between.

Danny and Sam had both been talking about practicing for when Sam was in labour but they didn't know how to properly organise themselves. Danny had constantly forgot the bag to bring and focused more on getting Sam into the car while half the time Sam made it sound like she really was in labour which made Danny shake and panic.

During this time also, they had discussed names, but it was difficult to pick out four names as they wanted their kid's names to be symbolic, and not have a nickname that could impact on them when they are in school.

After all this was another appointment with Doctor Maddingly, Sam was now 8 months pregnant and was glad that most of her pregnancy had been normal, aside from the fact that the twins she was carrying had developing ghost powers.

It gave both expecting parents nightmares almost every night leading up to this appointment, since it would be their last appointment before she was due, and Danny was anxious and excited about the event. If the twins were to be born on his birthday, it would be a spectacular day for him especially; he would be sharing his birthday with his two children. But with these ghost powers robbing his dreams almost every night made him think otherwise, he was glad that no early labour had been detected so far but there was still a month to go before they would be expecting labour to happen.

They had decided that this appointment would just be the two of them, they knew that both their parents would be there for the birth, and there wasn't much to see at this appointment for them. It was going to be the usual check-up with an ultrasound, blood pressure testing, weight check, and relaxation exercises and so on.

After arriving and sitting in the waiting room, Danny and Sam waited patiently for Doctor Maddingly to arrive.

"Our last appointment." Danny said, staring off into the distance.

Sam nodded in response, looking down at her large stomach and rubbing it gently with saddened eyes.

"It won't be long now until...you know." Danny implied, making it almost seem humorous with his small chuckle at the end.

Sam took in a deep breath as Danny told her those words; she was scared of what was going to happen to her. She didn't want to take any drugs because of the ghost powers in the babies, but she worried whether she would be able to deal with that amount of pain all at once.

It didn't take long for Danny to notice the worried and scared expression on Sam's face as she looked down. He leaned in closer towards her and caressed her cheek.

"Don't worry, I will be with you every second of that moment, and you can grip my hand as hard as you want because I know how painful it's going to be." He assured her.

Sam wiped her eyes with her sleeve, making some of her mascara rub off but luckily it rubbed off without smudging it. "Telling me the degree of pain involved doesn't make me feel any better." She implied, sniffling and giving a slight glare towards Danny.

Not long later were Danny and Sam called into Doctor Maddingly's office. As Sam sat on the bed and felt the slight comfort followed by discomfort, Danny sat on the chair next to the desk while Doctor Maddingly got her paperwork out for the appointment.

"Nice to see you again, how has everything been for the two of you?" She asked, preparing her paperwork before moving on to preparing the ultrasound equipment.

Danny looked at Sam, and could see that she was too exhausted to even start talking, so he cleared his throat before he replied. "Things have been a little rough, but nothing bad regarding the pregnancy..."

The doctor nodded in reply. "And how have things been for you Sam?" She asked, looking down at Sam who was perfectly laid out on the bed, almost in a relaxed state.

"Painful and stressful, I can't sleep properly anymore because of these two...and they have been kicking way more often than they used to which is an annoying distraction to have." She explained, moaning in slight pain from her aching body.

"We've been practicing for when she's in labour...and to be honest...half the time it sounds almost real, and it scares me." Danny added, hoping the doctor would have a reason behind Sam seeming like she really was in labour when she wasn't.

Doctor Maddingly chuckled at the thought; she had remembered dealing with several other expecting fathers with the very same problem. "No need to worry Danny, Sam is just under a great deal of pain that it sounds very convincing for her to be in labour. However I would hope that you have a plan sorted by now as of now the babies would be moving into a birthing position." She implied, applying the gel to Sam's stomach, which was large enough to make Sam not be able to see her feet.

Danny sighed in relief that it was only a false alarm and that all those times weren't what he thought it would be, but then he realised the last part of what she said...the baby was moving into birth position, and Danny wasn't that clueless to know what that meant.

"So do I just stay home all day until it happens?" Sam asked, seeing that the doctor was reaching out for the probe.

"It would be most recommended." She implied, now rubbing the probe against her stomach.

As the probe moved around gently across Sam's extremely pregnant stomach, doctor Maddingly could see on screen the two bodies of twins close together, almost hugging each other but were at a more horizontal position which proved her fact to be true.

"Okay it looks like they were beginning to move into the birthing position, but positioning themselves takes longer than you think. So I would suggest booking in to the hospital in about three weeks time, it appears you'll be due slightly early than your due date."

"How early?" Danny asked, leaning in.

Doctor Maddingly paused for a moment to check the date on her watch before continuing to probe around Sam's stomach. "I'd say by two to three weeks, but with what I am seeing here it seems that both babies are almost fully developed and nearly ready to be delivered. No need to worry right now though, it'll take them awhile to reach that position, plus I can see that still some development is needed before these two are ready to come into the world."

She turned for a moment to grab the papers on her desk to double check Sam's due date, but what happened on the monitor made Danny gasp, and as Sam's view was more obstructed than Danny's, her heart rate increased as she saw the worried look on Danny's face who was staring shockingly at the monitor.

One of the babies had suddenly disappeared from the screen, it wasn't long till Danny knew that this was another sign and confirmation that they had ghost powers, however they had assurance that at least one will possess ghost powers, they were both still up to debate of whether both twins will have ghost powers or not. Unfortunately that will have to wait until birth.

Luckily, as Doctor Maddingly turned around, the baby came back into vision. She continued to probe a little more and record the babies' heart rate. While she was doing so, she was thinking about whether Danny and Sam have come up with names yet.

"So, have you two thought of any names yet? I understand if you haven't, but have you got any in particular?" She asked while writing down the babies' heart rates.

Danny and Sam grew surprised and wide-eyed for a moment; they glanced at each other before remembering what they had been discussing for a long time now.

"Oh, well we have had a few names in mind but we're still not 100% sure on what names we'll use." Danny explained, scratching the back of his neck nervously.

Sam tugged at Danny's sleeve to get his attention. "Danny, remember we will pick out some names and then when we see their faces that is when we'll name them."

"Sam's right, it's best not to name them beforehand, but you can if you want. It's only better to see what your children look like first before deciding on a name that will stick." She implied, preparing to pack up the ultrasound equipment.

After she packed up the equipment, she measured Sam's weight and blood pressure before asking Danny and Sam to come towards the desk to confirm everything as it was Sam's last check-up before she would be delivering.

"Okay so your blood pressure looks good from the readings I've been getting. Your weight has been a fast gain but I assure you, most of it is the babies' weight so once they're born and your body has returned to its normal state, the only weight difference you should be seeing is in your breasts." She assured Sam, gesturing towards her breasts.

Sam looked down at herself, realising that they had significantly grown in size since she had gotten pregnant. She had realised before but now she was taking it all in. She looked up at Danny who nodded to the Doctor about her implication.

"Don't worry Sam, you even look amazing now, I don't see any fat on you besides the small puppy fat on you and the two lovely kids that are nearly ready to see the world." He assured her, gently rubbing her stomach with adoring eyes which always made Sam smile.

"So, I understand that this isn't related to any tests or checks I've been keeping with you, but you didn't mention to me any names you had suggested. Care to say some to me? After all this is your last check-up with me before you deliver, and don't worry I will be there when that day comes to deliver your gorgeous twin babies." She ended in assurance and a smile.

Danny and Sam looked at each other for a quick moment before Danny nervously answered first again.

"Well I was thinking of Dexter for a boy, but I'm not sure of another boy name in case we have twin boys..."

Doctor Maddingly nodded in loving of that name, she turned to Sam next to see what names she had come up with.

"For a girl...I'd say Rowena and Opaline if they are both girls." She answered.

Danny almost jumped in surprise, he hadn't heard her say those names before, and yet he found the second name a little weird, but he kept it to himself as to not upset Sam about her suggestions. However Doctor Maddingly asked more name suggestions from him if he had any.

"Oh, well I was thinking for a girl Scarlet would be a good name." He suggested shyly, before remembering another boy's name he had been keeping in mind. "Oh, and if both twins are boys, I find Tyler fitting with my last name." He ended with a smirk towards Sam, remembering that they were getting married in the next year or so.

"Well they are all touching names. Danny, Sam, thank you for being with me and keeping up to date with me about your progress, and not just you Sam, I've been monitoring how the father is doing." She stated with a wink as she shook his hand.

Sam giggled, and saw that Danny was feeling slightly uncomfortable, but gave a warm smile to Doctor Maddingly before letting go of her hand from the handshake.

"And Sam, I look forward to our next encounter, which will surely be met with lots of pain and screaming. Danny, I urge you to be prepared." She said, winking again at Danny with a smirk while shaking Sam's hand.

Danny gulped in nervousness before thanking the doctor once again as he started to head towards the door. After both of them had said their farewells to Doctor Maddingly, they both left for home and continued to discuss the baby names that they had in mind.

In the next two weeks, Danny and Sam would practice more of when Sam would be in labour, but Danny couldn't focus straight as his top concern was getting Sam into the car and driving her to the hospital asap. So practicing was quite difficult between the two.

Their parents had also visited, asking if everything was ready and suggesting more names that made Danny and Sam look at each other in worry. However they were still locked on the ones they had spoken about at the 8 month appointment.

It was getting impatient and tense now, Sam remembered what Doctor Maddingly told her, she worried that every pain she got was her going into labour. She knew that being early was her top suspicion from the start but she worried how ghost powers will affect her due date, she was glad that so far they hadn't affected it, but there was still another 3 weeks until she would be nine months pregnant and almost due for delivery.

It was a Wednesday afternoon; Danny had tried to not work as much but at the same time tried to go to work as much as he could to earn more money. He wanted to be home as much as possible so that he would be there if Sam were to go into labour.

Danny had just got back home from work and was relaxing on the couch watching the latest ghost reports. He was glad that there weren't as many ghosts around, and he was lucky to have that ghost shield installed the week prior from his parents, but he did worry himself sometimes that Sam would have it activated sometimes when he wasn't home, or even if he was and were to transform.

Sam was in her bedroom taking a hard sore nap, her sleeps had been a big struggle since she grew this big, and she felt like she was going to burst but the only pain she felt was aching pain in her back and legs as well as the pressure on her pelvis from the babies' weight.

She woke up to the feeling of a tight painful feeling in her abdomen, she didn't know what to make of this pain so she quickly grabbed her laptop while the pain continued and she looked it up. It was with a gasp and more groans in pain before she realised what it may be.

"Danny...could you come here?" She called out in a worried tone.

Danny was at the doorway within the blink of an eye. "Yes Sam, what is it, what do you need?" He asked quickly, kneeling down towards the bed.

"I think...it's time." She exclaimed, pointing towards her laptop with the answer to her sudden pain.

It made Danny quickly look and read; the first word that he saw was labour, which was enough for him to panic. He jumped back up and quickly raced for their things while Sam sat on the bed holding her stomach tightly as she felt the pain slowly begin to ease.

"Okay, okay. I think that's everything!" He stated to himself as he rushed to the car with all the things that they needed for the hospital.

He was about to grab the keys when ironically, it was this time that he had remembered everything else except for Sam. He smacked his cheeks several times in how stupid he was and dashed to the bedroom to see Sam grunting and moaning in pain.

"Don't worry Sam, I've got you." He assured her as he lifted her carefully with ease and carefully ran her to the car.

Danny really wanted to just fly her there because it would be way quicker, but he knew he couldn't for the risk of his secret identity to be exposed.

So as the sun set, Danny sped down the street and towards the hospital. Sam continued to pester Danny about the pain and how fast he was driving.

"Slow down you idiot!" She yelled, holding onto the hand support above the passenger window as she moaned more in pain.

"I don't want our babies to be born in the car Sam!" He exclaimed in a panic.

Sam grunted in reply with her eyebrows giving an annoyed expression. "Danny, this could be a false alarm for all we know—"

She was cut short of her sentence when she felt a gush of liquid soak her underwear and her tights. "Oh shit...water broke..." She said with a more intense worried look.

Danny had been told countless times what that meant, and it meant that the babies were coming and there was no turning back home now. So in a panic he sped up to an extra 5 miles than he should be doing and arrived at the hospital less than five minutes later.

He rushed her inside, and called out for help from the doctors.

"Help, my fiancé's in labour!" He cried, holding her up as they walked in more.

Several nurses and doctors rushed to the couple's side, one of them quickly grabbed a wheelchair for Sam to sit on so they could wheel her into a delivery room. While she was being wheeled she continued to moan almost to the point of screaming. Danny tried to calm her down in the meantime but was only getting screams in reply and many negative comments on what he did to her. This made his heart sink but knew that it was only because she was in so much pain that she was saying these things.

The doctors asked who was their regular doctor and then hurried to find Doctor Maddingly. It was less than five minutes later that Sam was dressed into proper hospital clothes and hooked up to monitor her heart rate and blood pressure, she laid down on the bed and tried to relax herself but felt more pain coming as another contraction happened, this time in front of Danny.

"Sam, don't worry I'm right here you can squeeze my hand to death if you like." He said, offering his hand to her whom she immediately grabbed and squeezed tightly, making Danny cringe in pain.

It wasn't long later that Doctor Maddingly burst through the door and asked the nurse several questions about how Sam had been doing.

"How dilated?" She asked.

"Five centimetres, blood pressure is rising and heart rate is increasing." The nurse answered.

"How far apart are the contractions?" She asked, grabbing a chair and looking into Sam's entrance to check that she was dilating.

"They are twenty minutes apart, correct?" He asked, looking over to Danny who was still in pain from the hand squeezing.

"Um, yes." He replied, trying to sound normal but couldn't believe how tightly Sam was gripping his hand.

Doctor Maddingly had a thorough inspection of Sam's entrance before backing away and looking at the heart monitor. It was then that she suggested Danny rub Sam's back to make her feel more relaxed, but she warned him however not to do it for too long as it could add pressure to the babies as they prepare for delivery.

So Sam rolled on her side, still in intense pain and felt Danny gently rub her back which eventually made her feel more relaxed but still in intense pain. This was enough to make her heart rate and blood pressure go down to a better state.

"Alright, now have you two discussed any birth plan?" She asked in a more pleasant tone. "At the moment it is looking at a natural birth but Sam, you are at the point in which you can be given the epidural which will minimalise the pain from the contractions." She suggested.

After more groans in pain and still with Danny rubbing her back, adding more pressure as to help soothe the pain. Sam nodded biting her lip in pain. "Yes! Give me the epidural! Make it fast; I can't stay like this for too much longer!" She cried, feeling intense pressure from the babies since she was on her side.

Doctor Maddingly nodded and hummed in reply as she instructed the nurse beside her to get the epidural for Sam while she went back to the front of the bed and kept an eye on Sam's dilation. She told Danny to keep encouraging her so that she would feel better about herself, Sam felt that it didn't do much good as neither Danny or her doctor were feeling the same amount of pain she was.

Not long later, the nurse returned with the epidural in hand and gave it to Doctor Maddingly. In a nice, calm way she asked Danny to move aside for a moment so could quickly administer the epidural in Sam's back to ease the pain. Sam felt the stinging of something going into her back but then began to feel the nerves relax and lessen the pain, she sighed in slight relief as she could still feel pain but it was beginning to feel much better. She laid back on her back, now not tempted to squeeze Danny's hand to the point in which it turned purple and closed her eyes for a moment.

"You're doing amazingly Sam, I trust you to do this. I know you can." Danny assured her, caressing her cheek.

"I don't know how I'm going to do this...I really hope I can Danny. And I hope ghost powers don't show up yet." She said, with the last sentence in a quieter tone.

Meanwhile, Jack and Maddie were going to visit Danny and Sam for a small dinner but found that they weren't home. It was Maddie's quick response that made both of them think that Sam was in labour, but Maddie contacted Danny first so they weren't mistaken.

She had dialled his number but it had gone straight to voicemail, this made her really concerned. She asked Jack to try but he couldn't get his signal to work properly, it was then that they decided to contact Sam's parents.

Pamela picked up the phone almost instantly, annoyed that it was Maddie but curious as to why she would call. When hearing that they couldn't get into contact with Danny, they asked her to get into contact with Sam.

The phone rang and rang...eventually on the other side of the line Danny had grabbed her phone which was sitting in Sam's tights pocket in which she had taken off when she got changed into hospital clothes. He left Sam's side for a moment and assured her that he would be back very soon; he left the room and answered the call.

"Hello, it's Danny here." He said, introducing himself in case it was someone he didn't know.

Pamela widened her eyes in surprise to hear Danny's voice instead of Sam's. "Danny? Why have you got Sam's phone? Where is our daughter?" She demanded.

Danny quickly thought for a moment and it was only right to tell them exactly what was going on, he knew lies wouldn't lead to anywhere good, so he spoke the truth in a slightly panicked tone.

"Sam's in labour, we're at the hospital right now and the doctor's are monitoring her."

There was nothing but gasps heard on the other side of the line, not long after the phone was hung up on. Danny assumed that they got the message, so now he had to contact his parents about Sam being in labour. He was going to call his dad first, but decided that Maddie would be less reckless about the situation, so he quickly dialled her number and within two rings she answered.

"Danny? Where are you, we're at your house but you're not-"

"Sam's in labour mom, come to the hospital as soon as you can." He explained in a hurried tone.

The same reaction was heard from his mother, but this time hanging up wasn't involved. He heard Maddie yell to Jack to ready the RV so they could drive to the hospital as fast as they could.

"Don't worry dear, we're on our way." She assured him as both she and Jack rushed to the car.

"Text Jazz when you can, I heard she has an exam today so don't call her."

"We will Danny, see you soon!" She called back before hanging up.

Danny sighed with relief and texted Tucker the news before hearing Sam scream in pain again, he dashed back inside and assured Sam that he was right there for her, she grabbed his hand gently at first but then Danny felt the overwhelming pain of Sam squeezing it tightly, it was somehow even more excruciating than before.

"Um...is this how the epidural works?" He asked, looking at the doctor, afraid that he shouldn't have asked that if it was something bad.

Doctor Maddingly looked at Sam, who was clearly having her next contraction, before replying she wrote down how far apart Sam's contractions were and then recorded Sam's heart rate and blood pressure.

"Contractions usually try to be as painful as they can be, but by this time the epidural should have worked...however it does vary from woman to woman." She explained.

Danny grew worried that because of the ghost powers either both or one child would have that it was making it more painful for Sam, unfortunately he couldn't be certain as he couldn't tell what kind of pain Sam was in, he knew it was bad but he didn't know where it was hurting the most or what it was really caused by.

"How far apart, doctor?" The nurse asked with forms in his hand.

"Nine minutes, and checking dilation now." She informed, sitting back on the chair in front of Sam and checking how dilated she was. "Okay we're looking at 8 centimetres here."

Danny looked over at the Doctor for a moment while Sam still gripped hard onto his hand. "How dilated does it have to be?" He asked, not wanting to say the proper words for it.

"Ten centimetres, so we're almost there Sam."She answered, looking up above the sheet and assuring a panting and moaning Sam that things would be over very soon.

Sam groaned in more pain, her legs began to feel numb and her lower back also as the epidural was beginning to take proper effect, she wondered why it took so long to take effect, but she assumed it was either her body type or the fact that one or both of the children had ghost powers. She then realised what her doctor said, she knew all too well what happens after she's fully dilated, and the most difficult part of delivering was the pushing. She had initially wanted to have a caesarean, but it all happened too fast, and she was glad that the epidural was taking some of the pain away, though she could still feel most of it.

Meanwhile, Pamela and Jeremy had just made it to the hospital, and were dashing to the front door when they heard a car speeding down and almost crashing as it spun around and stopped quickly in a parking spot perfectly. They turned to see that it was Jack and Maddie, they had clearly gotten the message also, the couple ran towards Pamela and Jeremy. They decided to wait for them so they would go in together; it was only fair that they would all be there for their kids to make them happy.

"Do you know which room they'd be in?" Pamela asked as soon as Jack and Maddie caught up.

"No, but we can ask the front desk." Maddie claimed, pointing to the front desk as they all hurried through the front door.

So they all quickly proceeded to the front desk, all four of them asking the same thing to the receptionist who found it overwhelming and too difficult to understand them all at once.

"Calm down! What is the emergency?" The receptionist asked in a calm tone.

"My daughter's in labour!" Pamela cried.

"Our son's about to become a Dad!" Jack exclaimed.

While the receptionist asked more questions about whom they were looking for and why they were there, Sam felt her next contraction which was more painful than the last. She screamed in pain as she began to feel the sudden urge to push.

Doctor Maddingly rushed to the foot of the bed to see that there was a baby head beginning to come out, she gasped with widened eyes and quickly asked the nurse to get ready as Sam was now fully dilated and ready to push.

"Alright Sam, we're going to do this nice and easy. Your first baby is ready to be born in these next few pushes."

Danny encouraged Sam all he could so she would have the strength to push, she screamed in intense pain and screamed out how many more pushes she had to go through before a long and loud moan was heard. The pain was becoming more and more excruciating as she sat up with her legs spread apart and tried with all her strength to push as hard as she could with her loud screaming voice covering up Danny's encouragement, and the doctor's too.

To doctor Maddingly's surprise, only one push was made but somehow am managed to give birth to one child in just one push. She gasped first in pure shock but then smiled in adorableness once the baby took its first breath of air and began to cry.

Danny was the first out of the two of them to hear the crying, he immediately looked up and saw his first child. Nothing but staring eyes was seen from Danny's expression, and when he saw the gender, his heart melted.

"Congratulations on your first child, it's a girl." She announced in a caring tone as she handed the baby over to the nurse who cleaned their first child up.

Sam sighed in relief but felt more pushing urges as she felt the next baby reach the entrance and beg for attention to seek the new world it was about to explore. Doctor Maddingly encouraged Sam with kind words, as did Danny.

"C'mon Sam I know you can do it, our new daughter believes in you!" He exclaimed excitedly and encouragingly with a smile.

Sam realised that she had given birth to one child already, due to all the pain she was under, and how loud she had been screaming in pain she hadn't realised that she had given birth to one of the twins in just one push. It surprised her just for a moment before the moment was met with more pain and more urges to push really hard.

Another big push from Sam was made and to the doctor's surprise again, the second one came out in just one push. She caught the second baby just before it hit the bed and handed the second one straight over to the nurse. The second baby cried as the nurse grabbed them.

It was then that Sam felt the gush of her placenta coming out and blood, she felt slightly faint but still remained conscious. Doctor Maddingly quickly cleaned up and got rid of the placenta to check on the twins and request the nurse to give Sam the mask as she had lost a fair bit of blood from the placenta coming out.

Danny had seen the mess and almost gagged at the sight, but when he heard Sam sigh in a huge relief and the cries of both their babies he was melted by the moment. Afterwards, the nurse had handed their first born to Danny, a beautiful baby girl.

"Congratulations you two, you are the proud parents of two baby girls." She declared, giving a smile to the young couple. "On March 3rd at 6:42pm for your first born, and 6:44 for your second born."

The doctor turned her head for a moment before the baby girl in Danny's arms made a piercing noise that made Danny cringe and rub his teeth together in intense sensitivity to the sound. Sam looked over while still feeling slight faint and saw that the baby was making a ghostly wail, she chuckled before sighing again in relaxation and relief. She wanted to hold her babies more than anything but first she wanted to feel fully recovered before holding her daughters.

The babies had not yet opened their eyes, but once Sam was given her second daughter she saw that the baby opened her eyes and they flashed green for a few seconds before a hand reached out for Sam's finger. Meanwhile, under intense stress from the pain of his hearing, Danny managed to settle down the first born. Somehow the doctor and nurse did not take notice of how loud the baby cried; it seemed that the crying affected him the most since he was part ghost.

Both parents were then greeted by their own parents as they barged into the room to see that things had quietened down and that the two babies were born. All four parents were awestruck and awed at the sight of their newborn grandchildren.

Both grandmothers rushed to Sam's side, Jeremy turned to Jack with a proud smile and patted him on the shoulder.

"Congrats Jack, you're a grandad."

"And so are you, my good man." Jack replied with a gleaming smile, returning the gesture also.

Danny got up and showed both new grandfathers their first grandchild and first granddaughter. Both were immediately touched by the way Danny was fathering his first born child.

"Here she is, our first child...a girl." Danny said, looking up at both his father and Jeremy, handing the child over to Jeremy first.

As Jeremy and Jack caressed their first grandchild, Pamela and Maddie were asking Sam how the labour went, by this time Sam had taken the mask off and was now holding her second born.

"So what's this little girl's name?" Maddie asked, caressing the baby with one finger as the baby giggled a little.

Sam took a proper look at her, she took one glance at her eyes that were just like hers and then knew exactly what name would fit her best.

"Rowena Opal Fenton." She stated in a loud tone so that everyone could hear.

This caught the attention of the boy's, all three turned and rushed over to Sam's other side. All awed at the name and agreed. It was then that Danny took a glance at his first born in his arms and saw her eyes open for the first time, to his shocking surprise they turned a glowing green for a full three seconds.

"What was that?" Jeremy asked, seeing the eyes turn green.

Danny bit his lower lip in nervousness, it was clearly evident that their first born had ghost powers; he hadn't taken a good look at their second born who was now named Rowena, which Danny faithfully accepted. He didn't want to reveal his ghost powers unless the powers were more evident in the children.

"Maybe it was the lights flickering?" Danny suggested nervously, holding the baby in one hand while pointing above him.

Jeremy raised an eyebrow and shrugged, it was then that the grandparents swapped positions so now Pamela and Maddie were with Danny and Jeremy and Jack were with Sam. It was then that Pamela made a decision about their two families.

"Maddie, let's not make this feud between us no more than just a little broken twig on our family tree." She claimed, adoring the second born.

Seeing that now was a more relaxing time for Danny, he took a good look at his daughter with her eyes wide open and had now shown their natural colour, which was a mix of lilac and blue.

"I agree, these two gorgeous girls and our children are what tie this family together into one." Maddie agreed, adoring her first granddaughter.

Pamela nodded in reply before she heard Danny whisper something. "Excuse me?" She asked kindly.

"Scarlet Lilith Fenton." He stated, giving her a full name.

Maddie and Pamela awed at the sound of their granddaughter's name and willingly accepted it, Danny turned to Sam who was smiling adoringly at him, meaning that she loved the name too. Danny sat by Sam's side and cuddled the babies together.

But then suddenly, as a photo was being taken of the new parents, Rowena disappeared from sight, she was in Sam's arms when all of a sudden she vanished. This made Danny and Sam wince at each other in deep anxiety as they saw the shocked looks on both their parents' faces.

"Where did she go!?" Pamela cried.

"What happened!?" Jack exclaimed, waving his arms in the air in a panic.

Danny began to sweat uncontrollably, Sam could still feel Rowena in her arms but couldn't see her, it was definitely confirmation that she had ghost powers too; unfortunately she had displayed them in front of her grandparents who were completely unaware.

Maddie gasped and prepared her ghost weapon. "A ghost made her disappear!" She announced, getting her weapon out and readying to fire.

"Mom, no!" Danny cried with a hand out. "It's not a ghost who did this..."

He knew it, he couldn't hold back. He wanted this moment to be precious and stay precious, but in order to keep it that way; he had to tell the truth about his ghost powers. Sam could see that with Danny's closed eyes and the seriousness in his expression that he was about to tell them about his ghost powers.

"I don't understand Danny, if a ghost didn't make her disappear then what did!?" She demanded, slowly putting her ghost weapon away.

Danny sighed heavily, taking in a deep breath before saying anything. "It's because of me."

This made all four grandparents raise their eyebrows and widen their eyes in surprise and confusion.

"I don't get it Danny, how could you be the reason as to why your child vanished?" Jack exclaimed, gesturing to Sam's presumed empty arms.

Sam protested to backup Danny's revelation. "No, it is because of him. Because I can still feel her in my arms, she has only turned invisible." She implied, laying a finger on Rowena's body and then feeling for her mouth then seeing that Rowena had grabbed hold of her finger.

The other parents watch in awe, but still couldn't make sense of why and how this was all happening. They all then turned to the other daughter Scarlet who looked perfectly normal, but then she began to float out of Danny's hands and up towards the ceiling which made Pamela faint at the sight. Jeremy quickly grabbed a hold of her and was going to accuse the Fenton's for doing this to their grandchildren but Danny spoke before he could accuse.

"They have ghost powers." Danny stated, hanging his head low, not wanting to see their reactions.

Maddie and Jack looked at each other in shock, Maddie gasped and pieced what she thought was what Danny was trying to explain. "You're telling me that these are baby ghosts!?" She cried.

"No!" Danny claimed. "They have ghost powers because...I do...I'm Danny Phantom..."

Nothing but silence and widened eyes of shock came from all four parents (Pamela had recovered from her faint), Sam sighed and caressed her invisible child before not long later Rowena reappeared in her arms which made Sam smile in rejoice and cuddle her daughter gently.

All parents had expressions of pure shock on their face, Jack and Maddie began to feel their hearts sink as they realised that they were hunting after their son the entire time, they sighed and slouched at the thought of it. Meanwhile Pamela and Jeremy were wide eyed in shock and were speechless.

"I...I don't know what to say..." Pamela stuttered with her hand over her mouth.

Maddie slouched to Danny's side with tears of pain and guilt developing, she hugged Danny tightly and apologised greatly to him.

"Oh Danny...all this time...we were hunting you down in your ghost form while in your human form we tried to protect you." Maddie exclaimed, looking at her son with teary eyes.

Jack kneeled by his wife's side to apologise to his son. "I understand why you kept it a secret from us...I would have been afraid too if I were you. We are deeply sorry my son." He said with an embrace.

There was still no proper response from Sam's parents, Sam had turned to them and saw that they were speechless, she worried herself that this would make the families feud again. It was the last thing she wanted right now with her twin daughters being born and after all the pain she went through in less than an hour.

Everyone turned to Pamela and Jeremy who were utterly speechless and didn't know what to say, until Pamela was the first to say something.

"You're...the ghost hero of Amity Park?"

To Danny and Sam, this sounded more like they were happy about it and weren't going to discourage him or his parents. Danny nodded in reply, and this made Jeremy and Pamela look at each other for a moment in thought before coming to a decision about how to go about this.

"We are so lucky to have someone like you protecting our daughter. We are gratefully sorry with how we treated you and your family." Pamela stated, hanging her head down a little while Jeremy caressed her cheek in comfort.

Then, Jazz and Tucker burst into the room at the same time. It was a surprise to see them both arrive at the same time. Both of them immediately saw the babies in Danny and Sam's hands and were overcome with joy and adoration for them.

"They're adorable!" Jazz cried, reaching for Scarlet first. "What's their names?" She asked.

"This is Scarlet." Danny answered, handing her Scarlet. "And this is Rowena." He added, gesturing to the baby in Sam's arms.

Tucker sat by Danny's side and patted him on the back in support. "Way to go dude, and great job Sam. I know you could do it."

Sam sighed again and wiped her forehead. "Oh it was tiring and painful, but luckily it was over quickly." She said.

"Congratulations to the both of you." Jazz stated, bobbing Scarlet up and down a little as she caressed Scarlet's cheek.

Danny and Sam leaned their heads into each other; it seemed to be now that everything was perfect for them. Both of their families were happy with each other, Danny was working a steady job, earning as much money as he could while Sam was now applying for a college degree in gardening, the twin's room was fully organised, they had their own house, they were getting married, and most of all they had two gorgeous girls to share their life with.

It was definitely a gorgeous moment. After a few more hand holds from Tucker and the rest of the family, the twins were given back to Danny and Sam and Tucker stood at the front of the room to take a picture of all of the family together.

Danny held Rowena while Sam held Scarlet, both Manson's and Fenton's mixed on either side along with Jazz next to Danny resting a hand on Rowena. Tucker held out his camera and asked everyone to smile.

Both Danny and Sam had never imagined this day from the beginning. So much had happened in the past 8 ½ months, and all that fighting and feuding and struggle led to this extraordinary event with two gorgeous new baby girls ready to take on the world.

Tucker pressed the button, and with that a permanent mark in both their lives was made on that day and will forever be cherished.

Accidents happen for a reason, some have bad consequences, while others turn out good in the end. Just remember that accidents can be learnt from if are understood in a way that can benefit the future.

THE END.

*Faints* I am DONE. OMG you have no idea how long it took me to write all of this! The entire ending (including part 1) rounded up to be 36 pages and 25,000 words, which does make this story the longest FanFiction I have ever written! Plus this story includes the longest Chapters I have ever written!

I remember this story in the beginning was going to be a one-shot...but now look where it led me to...this amazing and stressful time consuming story that just turned out amazingly. Yes there were some faults down the line and there was bound to be spelling and grammatical errors but that's because I'm too eager to upload chapters (this Chapter included; let me know if you find obvious mistakes).

I enjoyed writing this story, even if it kept me up till 4am most nights... ^^; I really enjoy writing Danny Phantom Stories and I hope you enjoy reading them. Yes I will continue to write more Danny Phantom FanFictions but for now, I'll be focusing on my Cars FanFic What Happens Next. But no need to worry, more DP FanFics will come next year, plus there is an epilogue I'll be writing on this story which I'll upload sometime this coming weekend ^^

So I'll see you all then for the big farewell onto New Years! :D
