Hello everyone! Enjoy!
Chapter 9: Reconnection
When they reached the bedroom, Rachel immediately kissed Puck. Shocked by how much initiative she was showing, Puck pushed her back until they fell on the bed. He ran his hands under her dress and pulled her panties down.
"Touch me," she whispered.
"In a minute. Something's missing here."
She groaned. "Noah please."
"Hang on." He lifted her up and pulled her dress and bra off, leaving her naked. "Much better."
She rolled her eyes. "But you're still clothed."
He leaned down and kissed her again before running his fingers up and down her folds. "Do something about it then." Rachel sat up and pulled off Puck's shirt before unbuttoning his pants. He smirked. "In a rush babe?"
"I do not know how long we have and I do not want anyone coming to ruin this so yes I am. Is that a problem?"
He shrugged out of his jeans and underwear before planting soft kisses all over Rachel's body. As he worked his way up her body, Puck loved the way she trembled from the touch of his lips. When he reached her lips, he fervently kissed her before slowly pushing inside of her and moving at a slow, steady pace.
"Noah," she moaned.
"Want me to go faster?"
She quickly shook her head. "No, I want to take our time. Please stay just like this."
Puck couldn't argue with that so he continued to move a steady pace. When he looked down at her, he couldn't resist kissing her. No matter what girls he may have been with since they broke up, Rachel was always going to be the one that he would do anything and everything for. She was the one he's wanted all these years and now he finally had her again.
Feeling herself getting close, Rachel wrapped her arms around Puck and pulled him closer to her. Everything suddenly felt right again. She felt like Puck was a missing puzzle piece and now that she was with him, she felt whole again.
As they reached their climaxes, Puck collapsed next to her and immediately pulled her closer. He looked at her and smiled.
"What is it?" she asked.
"I think seeing you like this is way better than seeing you dressed up in your princess clothes."
She rolled her eyes. "Because I am naked?"
He shook his head. "No. Because this is you not trying to look good for anyone or not trying to act like a princess. You're just a girl who is in love with me and wants to show it."
Rachel smiled at him before kissing him. When they pulled away, the two laid in silence until they finally drifted off to sleep.

"Rachel? Darling are you awake?" is what they woke up to the next morning. As soon as Rachel heard her mother's voice, she quickly sat up.
"Yes mother I am but I am not decent."
"Okay well I hope you are preparing for breakfast with Collin. He will be here any minute."
Suddenly remembering the plans, Rachel held in a groan. "Yes I will be there momentarily."
When she heard Shelby walking away she sighed and looked down to find Puck looking up at her. "Well that wasn't the kind of 'good morning' I was expecting to wake up to."
"I am sorry, I forgot we arranged this yesterday."
"It's okay," he said, sitting up. "You have to tell him the news sometime."
"News?" she asked, confused.
"That you won't be going out with him anymore because you want to be with me."
"Oh yes that."
"I'll be helping Ryder so just come find me when you're done, okay?" he asked. Rachel nodded and he kissed her before getting out of the bed to get dressed.
Once he was gone, Rachel sighed to herself. She didn't know if she would be able to tell Collin that she did not want to see him anymore but she should've known that there would be no way that she could sleep with Puck and still be able to be with Collin. What has she gotten herself into?
When she got to the dining room, Rachel walked straight to Collin, determined to tell him of her new decision.
"Collin may I speak with you alone please?"
"Of course," he said before getting up and walking with her to another room. "Is everything alright?"
"No I'm afraid not. I do not think I can see you anymore. Things have become complicated and I-"
"Things like Mr. Puckerman?"
She stared at him confusion. "How did you know?"
"Rachel everyone knows the story of you two. And honestly I think it is ridiculous."
"I beg your pardon?"
"I mean come on princess. Do you honestly believe some ordinary commoner from America can run this country with you? You are willing to give up everything to be with a man who did not think about you for five whole years."
"That is not true and it is not all Noah's fault."
"You expect the people of Mercier to take their queen seriously when she does not follow proper tradition and chooses to marry someone simply because she thinks she loves him? You will be a joke. A mockery to everyone who's come before you."
Rachel shook her head. "I do not understand, I thought you were kind and sweet?"
"I made you think what I wanted you to think so that you would finally forget Mr. Puckerman and help me become king. If you want to be a good leader then you need to forget about your fantasies and come back to reality. Marrying Noah Puckerman will be the downfall of your country and only you will be to blame."
"I refuse to believe that. Noah would be an amazing king. He would be much better than you will ever be."
He smirked. "I see that I am not getting through to you. Maybe it would be easier if Mr. Puckerman was not around."
"What do you mean?"
"It would be fairly simple to get rid of him. I can accuse him of stealing something of mine or of acting inappropriately with you and just like that, he would be thrown in prison or even be sentenced to death. It depends on what I come up with and I can be very creative."
"Leave Noah alone. He has done no harm to you."
"I will be happy to leave him alone. As long as you agree to be my lovely bride and soon-to-be queen."
"I would never marry you."
"Very well then. I shall have a talk with your guards."
Before he could walk away, Rachel quickly stopped him. "Please leave Noah out of this Collin, I am begging you."
"Say yes."
Realizing there was no other way out of this, she tried to keep a brave face. "Yes I will marry you."
"Perfect," he smirked, pulling out a ring and putting it on Rachel's finger. "Let's go tell everyone the news."

"Puck this is a stupid idea," Ryder said to Puck who was holding out a phone.
"I don't think this is stupid. Sara what do you think?" he asked his sister.
She shook her head. "Not the least bit stupid. You can't ask Arabella out over the phone so you have to ask her to make her way here."
"I mean it'd be better if you could go there but considering you have limited transportation there, this is what we have to settle for and hopefully she won't mind," Puck shrugged.
"What if she laughs me off the phone?"
"Then she's a bitch and you at least tried," Sara said. When she noticed Puck staring at her, she rolled her eyes. "Oh come on, I grew up with you as an older brother. Did you not think I would pick up on the way you talk?"
"Good point." He turned back to Ryder. "Come on dude, it's a simple phone call."
Ryder sighed and hesitantly took the phone from Puck before dialing the number and putting the phone to his ear. After a moment, he spoke. "Yes, hello this is Ryder Lynn. I was wondering if I may speak with the princess, it is a very important matter. Thank you. Princess Arabella. I know it's a surprise that I'm calling but I was hoping that there might be room in your schedule to stop by the castle, I have something important to talk to you about. Really? Great I will see then. Goodbye."
Puck raised an eyebrow. "Well?"
"She said she has free time later on today so she'll be here then. I feel like I'm going to be sick."
"Relax. She's going to say yes then you two can ride off into the sunset and all that junk that girls like."
"Just don't throw up on her," Sara smirked.
"Hi everyone," Rachel said as she walked up to them.
"Hey Rachel. Ryder's trying to ask Arabella out on a date," Sara told her.
Rachel looked at Ryder. "I wish you the best of luck even though I am sure you will not need it. She has no reason to say no."
"Thanks Rachel."
Noticing that Rachel looked uneasy, Puck looked at Ryder and Sara. "Could you guys give us a minute?" Ryder and Sara nodded before walking away. Puck looked back at her. "So how'd it go?"
"Not well."
"Oh well I'm sure he'll get over it. Now how are we going to tell everyone about us?"
"We are not telling anyone anything."
"What?" he asked, confused.
Rachel held up her hand, revealing the ring. "I'm marrying Collin."
Puck froze. He didn't know what to do or how to react. "What the hell do you mean you're marrying Collin? Are you kidding me?"
"Noah please don't be upset with me."
"Don't be upset? Rachel are you forgetting what we did last night? What you initiated to happen? Are you really going to go on and marry that guy after something like that?"
"If it was up to me I wouldn't but-"
"That's bullshit Rachel, it is up to you. If you really don't want to do it then call the wedding off."
She shook her head. "I can't do that. Please believe that I would not do this if I had any other choice."
"You do have a choice, Rachel. It's your life, do what you want with it."
"Noah-"
"Do you love me?"
She nodded. "Yes."
"Then call off the wedding."
"I can't."
"Then I have nothing more to say to you. As soon as I find out when the wedding is I'm going home so you don't have to worry about me anymore and you can finally have your happy ending."
"Noah please just let me explain."
"I don't want to hear it."
As he walked away, Rachel sighed. "He threatened you."
Puck stopped and turned around. "What?"
"If I did not agree to marry him Collin said he would have you thrown in prison for something or even be put to death. I am trying to protect you."
He sighed before walking back over to her. "Rachel you know I can handle him."
"He's a prince, everyone is going to take his word over yours."
"And you're a princess which means you should be able to help me. You know you have a lot of power, why are you acting so afraid of him?" She looked down. "What did he say to you?"
"Do you think you would be able to run a country? I mean do you think you can handle it?"
Puck frowned. "Seriously? You don't trust that I can help you run a country?"
"You do not know how royalty works and how a country has to be run. It takes more than you realize and maybe you are not ready for it."
"You know what Rachel? I think Prince Collin is perfect for you. I hope you have a happy life with him because I'm done."
As he walked away, Rachel felt tears fall down her face. She knew she didn't want to marry Prince Collin but what other choice did she have? Could Puck really run a country with her? Or was Prince Collin the better, safer choice?
Let me know your thoughts. Bye for now :)
