Chapter 4 Familiar Hunting

Night of the full moon.

Everyone from the ORC is in the clubroom waiting to see the familiar master.

"Asia what kinds of familiar are you looking for?" Kiba asked the ex-nun.

"I don't know. I've never thought about it." Asia said with a wondering look.

"Do you want to see mine?" I asked the nun.

"You said you had a familiar but you never showed us." Kiba said with a curious look.

"Yes I would like to see it." Asia said with a smile.

I waved my hand at the table as a magic circle appeared. A purple imp-like creature appeared. It has a tail and pointy ears. It's wearing red gloves and a bandana around its neck. Its face is white with green eyes.

"What's up Aniki? You need me to do a job?" The creature asked me.

"Introduce yourself."

"Got it. Hello everyone! I am Impmon the imp. I am Aniki's familiar." Impmon said making the peace sing with his three fingered hands.

"Hello Impmon, I'm Asia. It's nice to meet you." Asia said as she shook one on Impmon's hands.

"I know who you are Asia-sis. Aniki has me watch out for you when you are on jobs to keep you safe." Impmon said as he shook back.

"Ken-san." Asia said as she looked at me.

"You're new to the outside world, Asia. I'm just watching out for you." I said with a nervous smile.

"Thank you Ken-san." Asia said as she hugged me.

Impmon just whistled at me.

"Shut it." I told my familiar.

"Hello Impmon. I'm Rias Gremory and these are Akeno, Kiba, and Koneko." Rias said as she introduced herself and the others.

"Hello Rias-sis, Akeno-sis, Kiba-bro, Koneko-sis. It's nice to meet you all." Impmon said with a smile.

"I've never seen an imp like this before. Where did you find him?" Akeno asked as she looked Impmon over.

"I found him on an island during my travels." I lied. Impmon was the same one from Digimon Tamer's. I was his partner when I was there and he's been traveling with me ever since.

"What kind of familiars do you all have?" Asia asked everyone.

Everyone else had their familiars appear.

Rias has a bat like creature, Akeno an small oni, Kiba a bird, and Koneko a kitten.

Being the cat person that I am, I'm already petting the kitty.

"What a cute little kitty. Almost as cute as its master." I said playfully.

My words caused Koneko to blush.

'I just shot myself in the foot, didn't I?'

After I avoided death by pissed off teenage girls, we set off to the familiar forest.

Impmon sat on my shoulder as we wait for the familiar master to get here.

What a dense forest. I can't even feel heat around here, so it wouldn't be weird if anything popped up.

And speak of the devil, the familiar master appears from a top a tree.

"My name is Satooji of Madara Town! I'm a devil in training, aiming to become a Familiar Master!" Said a young man the looks like he is cosplaying as Ash from Pokémon.

"Satooji-san, I brought the one I spoke of." Rias then introduces Asia to the Familiar Master.

"A blonde beauty huh. OK! Leave it to me! If it's me any Familiar immediately would be caught!" Satooji said with enthusiasm.

"Asia. He is a professional in terms of familiars. Today we will catch a familiar in this forest while receiving advice from him. Okay?" Rias said to reassure Asia.

"Yes." Asia said as she nodded at Rias.

"Now, what type of familiar do you desire? Strong one? Fast one? Or one with poison?" Satooji asks in a friendly manner.

"Probably something kind but could protect her. Do you have any recommendations?" I said as I patted Asia's shoulder.

Satooji smiles at my question and gets out what looks like a catalogue. The one he points at is a creature with great ferocity that is drawn out on the whole page.

"This is what I would recommend! One of the Dragon-Kings! Chaos Karma Dragon, Tiamat! It's a legendary dragon! It's also the only female among the Dragon-Kings! Even until now, there hasn't been a devil who has caught her yet!"

"No way. Tiamat is too much of a hassle." I retorted.

"If it's too much for Asia, why don't you tame her?" Rias has a cheerful smile on her face.

"No thanks, Buchou! I know that we won't be able to get along because Ddraig is on bad terms with her." I said with a sigh.

I already had a bad start from the beginning! I calmed down and asked once again.

"I don't need a familiar, when I already have one. Besides we are here for Asia." I said with an annoy look on my face.

"I also want a cute familiar." Asia says while hiding behind me.

"Okay, I understand." Satooji said as he began to show use around the forest.

"Listen up, seirei gather around this lake." Satooji said in a low voice.

There is a spacious clear lake in front of us. It is glittering with sparkles, and it seems like a very sacred lake. We are hiding in the shadows near the lake while hiding our presence.

"Yes, the water seirei, Undine, living in this lake doesn't show themselves in front of others." Satooji explained.

"Oh, the lake started glowing. Undine should make its appearance." Satooji said as he pointed towards the lake.

And the one that appeared was a being with light-blue hair sparkling like lights, who was wearing a transparent robe over its muscular body.

"That is Undine." Satooji said as I a look of disgust formed on my face.

I'm used to the beautiful maiden version most realities have.

"Undine always have a battle while having their territory on the line. If you aren't strong, you wouldn't be able to get the lake. The World of the Seirei is also about power."

Issei would be bitching about now.

"But she has pure eyes. I'm sure she is a girl with a pure heart as well." Asia says that with a smile.

"Let's just move on to another place before I get sick." I said as everyone nodded.

While we were walking Asia pointed to a baby dragon on a tree branch.

"What's that?" Asia asked.

"It's a Sprite Dragon." Satooji replied.

"Sprite Dragon?"

Satooji nods at Asia's question.

"Yeah, the Sprite Dragon. Just like its name, it's a dragon which uses blue lightning."

"Is that dragon, strong?" I asked with a bit of curiosity.

When I asked, Satooji smiled.

"It's still a baby. If you are going to catch it, now is the time. You would definitely not be able to catch it once it matures. It's placed in the Top-tier classes for dragons."

I say a few words in dragon tongue to get the little guy to notice us.

The Sprite Dragon nodded and flew next to Asia.

"You can speak dragon tongue?" Satooji asked me.

"I've been aware that I'm the Sekiryutei since I was born. So knowing too speak in dragon is simple."

"Sprite Dragon. It is also my first time seeing one. What beautiful scales. It's glowing in blue just like a blue diamond." Rias said as she looked at the baby dragon.

Then it happened when I wasn't paying attention.

"Kyaa!" Asia's screamed.

Slime was attacking the girls

"T-This is!" Rias said as the Slime covered her

"A slime." Kiba said as he tried to attack the Slime to no avail.

"My c-clothes… are melting!"

Just as Asia screamed, the Slime started melting the girl's clothes!

All of the girl's clothes began to melt and their underwear was becoming exposed!

I, unfortunately and happily, started to get a nosebleed!

[I've been waiting for this moment!] Issei yelled in joy inside my head.

'Why did I have to wake you up?' I mentally added.

The attacks of the slimes aren't stopping, and it started to melt their underwear as well! I better get rid of these things.

[Save to my brain. Saved to my brain.] Issei chanted.

Then something which looks like tentacles appeared and started to wrap around the girls!

"N-noooo!" Asia screams.

The tentacle wrapped around the girl's legs and started to make its way up. It went inside their ripped clothes and started to move around.

"Aniki! What's wrong?" Impmon said noticing I'm not doing anything.

"W-Why can't I move?" I said as I tried to move my body to no avail.

[You took over my body the least you can do is let me watch these things from time to time.] Issei said.

'You perverted bastard! Ddraig get him!' I said in an annoyed tone.

[Got it.] Ddraig said before chasing Issei around in my head.

[Aaaaaaah!] Issei screamed as he ran from the dragon's fire.

Satooji who was having a proper look at them says it while having a nosebleed.

"It is a slime which melts clothing. And also just mere tentacles. These guys often work together to attack their prey. Even if they are called monsters, slime only targets the clothes and the tentacles target woman's secretion so they aren't harmf-" He stopped there because I punched him into the ground.

I let out my intimidation and focused it at the Slime and Tentacles. They instantly jumped off the girls and before they could get away the Sprite Dragon zapped them.

"Thanks Ken." Rias said as she and the girls repaired their clothes with magic.

"You should also thank the Sprite Dragon." I said pointing to the baby dragon.

"Thank you Raiken." Asia said as she petted the baby dragon.

"You named it after me?" I asked in surprise.

"Yes. Because of you I now have a family and friends." Asia said with a blush.

"I don't deserve such kindness!" I said as I began to cry waterfalls.

Then the Sprite Dragon zapped me and Impmon.

"Sprite Dragons give electric damage to those who it acknowledges as its enemies. I also forgot to mention, but male dragons hate males from other races." Satooji who was also burnt black gives me additional information. Behind him, Kiba also was turned black while putting on a refreshing smile.

The shock must have woken him up. So if its guys, they are all the same to Raiken?

I wiped my tears. I then stood in front of the baby dragon.

"Little one if you do that again it won't be good for your health." I said in a scary voice to Raiken.

The baby dragon hid behind Asia, nodding in understanding.

"You can't bully him." Asia says it as if she is lecturing me while hugging the baby dragon.

"I wasn't bullying him Asia. I was just warning him not to do it again." I said in my defense.

"I hear that Sprite Dragons open up to those with pure hearts. It seems like it really is attached to that girl." Satooji explains.

"That's Asia to a T." I said with a smile.

"U-umm, can I make this dragon my familiar?" Asia asks nervously.

"Go right ahead. I think you would be safe with this one." I said as I patted her head.

"…..In the name of A-Asia Argento, I order you! Y-You shall become my familiar and respond to my contract!" Asia said as she started to perform the familiar ceremony.

Asia opened a green magic-circle in front of us. The Sprite Dragon is located in the middle of the magic-circle, and the ceremony between Asia and the familiar is about to take place.

Asia is a beginner, so Akeno is supporting her. But it seems like the ceremony is progressing very well. Akeno-san also seems relieved.

"Sprite Dragons is a dragon who won't pledge to a devil, but it seems that girl has a very pure heart. Something like this has never happened before, but it seems like the contract ceremony will finish safely." Satooji says that as he watched.

The light from the magic circle starts to gradually lose its light. Because the contract has finished, the baby dragon flew to Asia and started to play with her.

Well, since Asia has caught her familiar, this might be a 'Good Ending'.

It was the next day and we were in the clubroom. Asia is playing with Raiken as I worked on some papers Azazel sent over to me.

"Still nothing." I said with an annoying tone.

"What's wrong?" Kiba asked me.

"Something very personal." I said coldly.

"Is it related to the Abominations?" Rias asked me with a worried look on her face.

"I guess sense you saw me in an emotional state you can read me now." I said with a sigh.

"I've been watching you, Ken. You are one of my precious servants. It's my job to read you." Rias said with a smile.

"Thanks Buchou." I said as I looked out the window to see a red bird staring at us. I flick a pen cap at it to scare it away.

At an unknown location.

"Did he sense that I was watching?" A Blond man in a red suit asked.

"I doubt that Brother." Said a young blond drill haired girl in a pink dress.
