Getting To Know You

Chapter 6

He crept quietly into the music room where he knew she would be even at six thirty in the morning. Creeping up behind her, he placed his arms around her waist as she played the music.

"Morning Ry," she smiled, as her fingers continued to dance across the keys.

"Songs for the show?" he asked.

Kelsi nodded. "We're gunna have to get the wildcats to sign up though. Are last show can't be a Sharpay show."
"Senior Year," murmured Ryan.

"Ryan that's great we'll call it Senior Year!" exclaimed Kelsi.

"We should get your ideas to Darbus soon," said Ryan.

"I want it finished first," said Kelsi.

"Kels we have a beginning, middle, end music, choreographer and most of the lyrics there's months till the show – so show her now," said Ryan. "She'll love it."

"Maybe," muttered Kelsi.

"Come on Kels it's our last chance to share the stage together I want to do it using this musical," said Ryan.

Kelsi hands flew to the piano, a melody began to form.

"It's our last chance to share the stage before we go our separate ways,"

She grabbed blank sheet music and began to scribble down notes and lyrics.

"High school wasn't meant to last forever," sang Ryan.

"It's our last chance for us to shine to bring you music one more time," sang Kelsi.

"So come on come on come on come on come on come on," finished Ryan.

Kelsi had the notes and lyrics down and a smile on her face.

Ryan plucked the paper off her.

"Who better to open the show then us the composer and choreographer," said Ryan.

Kelsi smiled and nodded. "Let's get this to Darbus."
