*Hey loyal followers and newcomers! So I got a new laptop, no longer barrowing someone elses, and I'm not in any clubs (at the moment) and sports right now so I'll have more time to spend with you guys! So this chapter took A LOT of thinking, I couldn't decide which song to put first and it was kind of confusing trust me so if it confuses you, I feel ya bro. To answer your questions yes Arnold was technically singing to Helga, but in my stories, when they sing to eachother it's like in High School Musical, it's not out of the ordinary. So I have to hurry with this a bit today, my wrists hurt because we played this kind of hockey game in gym today and I got in to it big time so I hope you enjoy it and don't get confused. Playlist coming soon. STJM!*

Arnold snuck back in to the waiting room, still full of snoozing teens. One was missing, Gerald. Arnold didn't question where he went so he sat and played on his phone for a while.

About an hour or two later Gerald showed up with two handfulls of McDonald's bags. Arnold sat up "Need some help there?" Gerald laughed quietly "Yeah there's about ten more bags in my car, mind getting them for me?" he slid past him and went out to the old beaten up Chevy Gerald owned. He opened the door and grabbed the remaining bags and walked in. When he came inside everyone was awake, admit it, once a teenager smells food they want it.

Arnold sat the bags down on the table and began playing lunch lady with Gerald, handing out burgers, fries, nuggets, and drinks to the starving kids. Once everyone got their food the waiting room filled with chatter and giggles, at least the sound of all the other people having a good time was making him feel a little better. "Hey man, I heard to get up a while ago to see Helga, how is she doing?" Gerald said, nudging Arnold in the side. Arnold sighed "Well she's got so many plugs, IVs, and tubes in her you can barely see her skin." Gerald gave a big pat on Arnold's back. "She'll be fine dude. She's a tough girl, no coma will stand in her way." this made Arnold chuckle a bit. "Yeah you're right I guess." "Now there's the smile we've all been wanting to see.

Two hours later the food was gone and everyone was just socializing. A couple of nurses went in through the door Arnold went through and in the sliver window they went in room 129. He heard some yelling and beeping and it began to worry him. He snuck it the door and peeked in the door to see what was going on

He heard a bunch of doctor slang that he didn't understand but it didn't sound good. Then there was cheering and then he heard it, finally. Helga's voice

Before he could move from the footsteps coming his way a nurse came out and gave Arnold a warm smile. "You're friend's going to be ok kid."

They gave him the ok to walk in. There was the eyes he'd been waiting to see. Her eyes widened at the sight of him. "Uh... Hi Arnold." he smiled. "Hey." he sat down at the cair at her bedside. She sighed "What happened while I was out?" Arnold tucked his lip to the side. "Well I called in an emergency, I was freaking out, I came here, called Gerald, the whole twelveth grade is out there, and... I... cried." Helga sat up and looked at him in shock. "You cried? Because of me? But... but why?" he shrugged. "I don't know, it's just, they said you might not make it and..." he started to choke up and a few tears streamed down Helga's cheek. Arnold walked up to her and leaned over the bed. "Don't cry." she sucked in a breath. "No, I put you and everyone else in pain because I'm just selfish and care about nobody."

Arnold brushed a strand out of her face "Don't go blaming yourself now." Arnold leaned over to Helga's face then the door swung open and Arnold jerked up. Since he is seriously tall he hit his head on the celling. There was a choir of heys and joy cries. Everyone came to hug Helga and talk. Arnold walked out in to the hallway, too many people. Gerald came out to the hallway with him. "Hey, how ya feeling?" Arnold shrugged. "Better." Gerald put a hand on his shoulder. "Now I know what's going on with you. You love her don't you?" Arnold jumped and looked at him, pure shock in his face. "What?" Gerald rolled his eyes. "You know what I'm saying. Don't be embarassed. I know you do. I was in the room, I saw you try to kiss her. I tried to stop everyone from coming in but you know them, in one ear out the other." Arnold let out a giant sigh. "Maybe you're right. I had this feeling for her and I couldn't figure it out." Gerald chuckled. "That's because you're dense." "Hey now."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Three days later they released Helga but enrolled her in rehab as a requirement for her to leave. Arnold made a spot for Helga to stay.
Seven o'clock and they were sitting on Arnold's bedroom floor playing a board game. "Ha sorry Arnold, bumping you back to start!" Helga yelled with a chuckle. He glared with a smile. "You need to tell me where you learn how to play a game about being mean so well." Helga gave him the 'knock off the sarcasm' look. Arnold looked down and there was a big bump on his head. "Got a pretty little bump on your head from smacking your head on the celling." she giggled. His face reddened. "What were you trying to do?" the oblivious trick, yes of course. "Uh..." she giggled again. "Oh don't act all dense." he pushed the game out of the way. "This." he leaned in and kissed her. He felt her smile in the kiss. They seperated and he looked at her in the eyes. "I missed you Helga." and kissed her again, it even had more meaning this time. He almost lost what he didn't know he had.
