I can't believe the last time I updated this it was still 2015. Sorry again for the late update. I can't guarantee anything but I'll try to update every 2-4 weeks, okay? Well onto the story

Can't Sleep Love

It had been a couple of days after Meilin and Ryu had learned the truth and they began to act like an actual couple much to Sakura and Syaoran's disbelief. How did one date change their whole relationship they continued to ask themselves. They tried asking the two about it but neither budged and it was eating them alive.

"Ugh why did they suddenly start acting like a proper engaged couple?" Sakura complained to her loyal guardian beast Ceroberous, otherwise known as Kero.

"Who knows Sakura. Love has its ways after all" he pointed out

" It feels as though they're under some sort of spell though" she retorted

" Or they broke some sort of curse" he said as Sakura agreed with his theory more. As they continued to talk they felt footsteps approaching and Kero went back to plushy mode. Sakura turned around to see Syaoran by the door of her- well their room

"Oh um... Hello Syaoran" she said rather awkwardly as the began placing her notebooks into her schoolbag. Unlike her friends who decided to finish school with online classes, Sakura was still attending some actual class although most of them had been online

" What are you doing?" Syaoran asked as Sakura was placing Kero in her bag

" Oh this is for a friend of mine" she said avoiding his gaze. Syaoran seemed suspicious and couldn't help but glare at it but did not bother her any more with it as he changed his shirt revealing his well kept body

' Don't look Sakura! I repeat; DO NOT LOOK!' Sakura repeated in her head as she quickly grabbed her SAKURA book and placed it in her bag

" Where are you going Sakura?" Syaoran asked finally using her first name as she had asked for the past couple of weeks

" I'm going to school" she said looking at his after he was fully changed

" Oh" he said not knowing what to say as Sakura got up and finished buttoning up her school jacket

" Well I'm of to school" Sakura side leaving the room as Syaoran grabbed her hand not knowing what to do next

"I'll drive you" he said after thinking for a second

" Oh you don't have to-"

"But I want to " he said cutting off Sakura who questioned his motives behind all of this

"A-are you sure?" she questioned once more ' Maybe he's trying to be nice' she thought

"Positive" he said as they went down the stairs pat the dinning room where they had eaten breakfast in a peaceful silence. He got his car keys and house keys placing them in his jacket before they both proceeded to place on their shoes and went outside.

Spring was coming soon, they could just feel it in the air. It was nice outside as it wasn't as cold as it had been a month prior. Syaoran opened the door of the car for Sakura like a gentle man before closing it after she was in and he entered his own side. Once he started the car and they were both buckled in and they left for her school. It really wasn't that far but he felt like taking her for the day.

" Don't you think its weird?" Syaoran started startling Sakura who had been looking through her window

" What is?" she asked wondering what he meant

" Meilin and Ryu. They've been through one date and they suddenly act like they have known each other for years" Syaoran pointed out as she nodded

" It is rather strange. If I didn't know any better I'd say it was magic" she joked although she thought she saw Syaoran tense up

" Yeah... magic" he said awkwardly although Sakura thought it was cute

"S-speaking of which Meilin and Ryu's wedding should be soon right?" Sakura stuttered breaking the awkward silence

" Oh yeah... The wedding" he said ' Meaning ours' is close as well' he thought

" Yeah" she said entering the awkward atmosphere once more

" So do you have friends at school?" he asked before internally slapping himself ' Of course she'd have friends you dumbass!'

" Oh yeah I guess I have quite a few friends" she told him as they saw the school's entrance.

" Well I guess this is my stop" she said giving him an awkward smile although she was thankful that he dropped her off

" Do you want me to pick you up later?" Syaoran asked

" Would you? I don't want to be a bother" she thought slightly embarrassed

" .. Sure, just text me when you get out and I'll pick you up" he said giving her a small smile. Sakura unbuckled herself before giving Syaoran a quick peck at the cheek and ran off where her friends were waiting for her. He recognized them as the girl's who were at Mr. Terada's wedding, one of them being his wife.

With Sakura

Sakura approached her friends like any morning except they noticed Syaoran in the car and began winking and making faces

" It seems like you two love birds are already married" her friends teased although she tried to tell them that even though they were engaged they had yet to actually go on a date however just like good friends they ignored her protests

With Syaoran

As Syaoran drove off he couldn't help but think of how to bond more with Sakura seeing that they were to get married. Eriol and Tomoyo were still in their honeymoon doing things that he rather not think about and Ryu and Meilin were all lovey dovey. Syaoran decided to ask the first person he thought of who knew Sakura well...

Ryu

Later

"So you have no idea how to bond with Sakura and want me as one of her closest friends that happens to be a mutual friend of both of you to help you get to know her better?" Ryu summarized what Syaoran spent the pat 20 minutes explaining

"Will you?" Syaoran asked looking like a little wolf that was begging although he wasn't actually on his hands and knees

" Sure. You could use it" he whispered the last part

" So what should I do?" he asked his friend

" How about watching some movies late at night and then at the end kiss her under the moon" Ryu said and although it sounded like a rather romantic thing it didn't sound like something he would enjoy

" I'll try that, thanks" he said

" Well you could do that tonight because Meilin and I are going camping with some friends tonight" Ryu told him although this was the first time he heard of this

" Why you!"

AFTER SCHOOL WITH SAKURA

Sakura had just texted Syaoran to pick her up since she finished her class when a guy from her class ran up to her with flower at hand

" Kinomoto!" he panted as Sakura thought that he was about to pass out

" Are you alright?" she asked him with concern

" Y-yes I'm fine b-but I have s-something to ask you" he said nervously

" What is it?" she asked oblivious as to what he was about to ask

" I-I wanted to ask... If you would like to go on a date with me tonight" he said blushing as he handed her the flower

" Oh um" she said trying to think of a way to let him down gently. She decided not to tell anyone except her close friends about her engagement since it was private matters

" Sorry but she has a date with me tonight, right Sakura?" Syaoran said wrapping his arm protectively over Sakura as she nodded trying to hide the fact that she was as surprised as the boy who was trying to ask her out

" Sorry but I already had plans" she said giving the poor boy an apologetic smile before Syaoran grabbed her hand and lead her to his car as the boy only starred knowing that he had no chance with Sakura now

" Thank you Syaoran, I didn't know how to let him down gently" she admitted

" Don't worry although I was being serious about that date tonight" he blushed as he opened the door to the car

"O-oh" Sakura didn't know what else to say

" W-we can just watch some movies and order take out if you want" he said unsure if it was a good plan

" That sounds nice" Sakura smiled as they drove off home

LATER

Instead of doing what Ryu told him Syaoran decided to just keep the movie idea and they decided to stay home. So after Meilin and Ryu had left, Sakura and Syaoran decided to make themselves comfortable after calling for the pizza delivery. Sakura wore a white loose shirt with some pink sports shorts and some knee length socks while Syaoran wore a black tank top and black pants with a green outline. Once the pizza arrived they went to the living room where they already hand some movies to choose from

Syaoran had chosen the first movie called " The Last Samurai". It had more bloody scenes than they both anticipated however it did not stop the movie from being good. Since they had managed to eat the whole pizza pie ( Although it had just been small) Syaoran was going to make some popcorn while Sakura chose the next movie

Sakura finally chose a nice kid friendly movie. The two continued for around 4 more movies before they decided it was late and headed to their room not bothering to change. Luckily Sakura placed Kero and the SAKURA book in Tomoyo's room while she was away. They both laid in bed expecting sleep to come as the moonlight shone through their window

Around an hour had passed by before Sakura sat up and looked at the window

" Can't sleep either?" Syaoran yawned as he sat next to her

" Mhmm" she nodded remaining next to him before leaning into his shoulder

" Hey Syaoran?" she asked looking up at him

" Yes Sakura" he wondered what she was about to say

" Tell me about yourself. Your favorite color, your family, what you want to be when you grow up, that sort of thing" she asked him

" Well my favorite color is green. My family is just my mother and my four older sisters. When I grow up...I want to be a martial arts master or be an architect" he sighed thinking of his dream job" But when I grow up and we get... married... I will become leader of the Li clan" he said answering her questions

" What about you?" he asked looking at her

" What about me?" she asked

" Tell me about yourself" he asked the same as she did to him

" My favorite color is pink. My family is my mother and father along with my older brother Touya and technically his girlfriend. When I grow up I want to be a teacher or some sort of doctor... And when I have kids I think I'll end up being a stay at home mother"she admitted sheepishly

They continued just talking with one another for the rest of the night asking each other more questions or sharing some memories

" Sakura, do you believe in magic?" Syaoran yawned

" Why do you ask?" she yawned back

" Because ... I..." Syaoran never had the chance to finish since they both ended up falling asleep cuddling next to each other

AND ITS DONE! Hope you liked this chapter. Hopefully its as fluffy as I had intended it to be
