Notes:- ok so its been a looong time since I've updated this story or In fact any of my fanfictions but I'm gunna try to finish some of them. This one seemed to get a lot of reviews so I fort I'd start here. I hope you guys enjoy.
In the debriefing room Raven and the others sat around chatting. Everyone was dressed down in civilian clothes and most of the room had a cup of coffee or tea in their hand. Scar and K9 were stood near the wooden desk that sat in front of a large monitor screen. From what Raven could hear, they were talking about hunting or killing something. Madman, Hawkeye and Diesel were to the back laughing at something Speed Demon said while Madam Mist was rolling her eyes at their stupidity. Punk Rock stood behind Madam Mist resting up against the wall. The door then opened and Felix and Wrath walked in and as Felix took a seat near to Raven, Wrath just propped herself up near to the door. It wasn't long after that that Hean's walked in and the room fell silent as he took his place behind the desk.
"Ladies, gentlemen, I assume you've all had a good night and are well fed this morning?" He asked as the room gave a few nods. "Good to hear cause we've got one hell of an assignment in the next few weeks. This one's come straits from the top."
"You mean Mr DDS?" Madam Mist asked sounding as Hean nodded. " Not heard from him in a while, this must be big."
"It's the real deal guys. In just over a minute, all the sections will be streamed a call from Mr DDS for orders. If all goes to plan, well be just one more step closer to taking over this planet," Hean smiled as the room came excited with chatter.
Raven felt a bit sick. This was all moving a hell of a lot quicker than she'd expected. She needed to get In contact with the Titans and quick.
"Okay guys, listen and behave," Hean's said as he turned on the screen and a count down from 5 started.
This was it, a visual on Mr DDS. No one had ever reported on him before and no one knows what he looks like. Raven swallowed nervously as the seconds ticked down till 0 hit. The screen then went black before the image of a dark figure showed up. She should have guessed that she wouldn't actually get to see his face. "Members of the DDS," the voice was robotic, obviously he didn't want anyone to know his real voice. "We are closer than ever to progressing forward into our plans. Soon we will no longer need to hide from the world, we will rule this mud planet and form it into our image!" A cheer broke out round the room. "each section will have orders sent out. The section who successfully completes their orders quickest will then be granted a chair with my highest forces and will lead us into our final battle to victory! I wish you all luck but only one section will be victorious so play hard but fight harder."
Raven watched as the screen went blank. It all happened so quick yet the team seemed so pumped up and happy to go. What possible orders could they be given? She needed to call Robin and find out what to do. "You okay?" Wrath asked now in the seat to her right.
"Yeah," Raven nodded looking towards her.
"We gotta win you know," Wrath said leaning over. "getting in his high forces means we'll get to work with Mr DDS himself," she said standing. "So you better get down to the arena and get some practice in."
Work with Mr DDS? That would mean a chance to get close to him, learn his identity and maybe even stopping him. Members were started to exit the room and so did Raven. She needed to find somewhere private so she could call the Titans and let them know what was going on and find out what to do next. Everyone seemed to be making their way to a large games room that held a couple of pool tables, dart boards and the biggest tv Raven had ever seen. She took this as a good time to head up stairs back to Wrath's room. Ones inside she closed the door and sat on the bed.
"Guys?" She She'd quietly.
"We heard Raven. You have got to try and get these guys to that high forces. If we can get close to Mr DDS we can take down the entire DDS," Robin said over the coms. "Yeah I fort you was gunna say that," Raven said as she rubbed her for head. "Look well try and help you as soon as you find out what your orders actually are. Till then just stay in charter and stay safe okay? We know you can do this," Robin said as Raven nodded before she heard the door open.
She spun round to see who was their, "Wrath!?" "Oh hey didn't know you was in here," Wrath said looking a little surprised to see her.
"Err... sorry didn't mean to just sneak up into your room," Raven said feeling a little embarrassed that she was in here.
"No worries," Wrath said as both girls just stood in silence for a moment. "So Hey, I'm gunna go to the arena for a bit of practice while everyone's busy playing pool if you'd like to join me."
"Yeah," Raven said although she wasn't sure why she agreed to go. "Cool. Bring your cuffs and bits if you like," she said with a smile as she grabbed her own gear off the counter. "And my names Alice by the way."
"Alice?" Raven chuckled as Alice gave her a raised eyebrow. "Sorry just didn't expect you to be a Alice."
"Well what's your real name "Roth"," Alice asked as Raven walked over to the door where Alice was waiting.
"That," Raven started with a playful smirk. "Is For me to know and you to find out."
