This story is about Sam. She stands alone at school on the sidewalk without Carly or Freddie there. There is an intruder alert. Two men walk past but luckily don't notice her. She is lucky enough to stay hidden! While wishing Carly was with her she has to keep quiet. The cops are called and the men are arrested. While it is decided the school will be let out early. Sam goes to bushwell plaza where Lewbert yells At her to get desperately wants to see Freddie. Sam has to admit today was scary for her. Sam even wants to see her best friend Carly. Once Sam arrives at the eighth floor she sees spencer. She doesn't know what to do or what to tell spencer. The person she really wants to see is Freddie. Sam and Carly decide on a trip to the groovy smoothie but then there is an alert on the news telling people to shelter in place. The men had not been caught yet. Once they did get arrested they spent an hour in jail and then escaped. The police tried to chase them down. Sam really wanted to go to glitter gloss with Carly. Freddie wanted a smoothie. But all had to shelter in place. Lewbert put the apartment complex on lockdown. T bo closed up the smoothie shop. All are hoping to stay safe
