I should've been studying for my oral math exam, yet here I am, pulling an all-nighter to update my story because a guest, hyperkitty, told me to update with caps. What am I doing with my life.
About the chapter posting, I will be trying to upload as often as I can. It will be heavily irregular though, because spring in my school means exam period, and I still need to raise my "Samfunnsfag" (History + Geography + Social Studies.) grade if I want to get into my dream school.
This chapter focuses on Miyako and Boomer.
.
Miyako didn't understand at all. Boomer was nothing like the impish kid she knew before. Although he teased Miyako by calling her a princess and probably wasn't the brightest guy around, he was actually pleasant to be friends with. He remembered exactly what brand of strawberry milk she liked, and he gave her a carton of it every day at lunch. He knew when to stop his teasing. When she would say that bringing her strawberry milk everyday is a bother and he should stop, he would laugh, call her his "princess" and assure her that it wasn't so much of a hassle. She ultimately accepted to be called princess. She didn't need to worry over her future loveless marriage. He probably was her perfect man.
But one day, he stopped coming to their meeting place at lunch altogether. She waited for him for a few minutes. She then shrugged at it, since he might've been sick or had to do something. While she passed an empty classroom, she heard muffled talking. She curiously approached the door. She saw Boomer's back. He had his hand on a girl's head. He was kissing a girl that Miyako identified as Haruka. She was frozen in place.
The girl nervously fiddled around with the buttons of Boomer's uniform. He patiently waited and smiled at the girl to encourage her.
"Don't be so nervous, princess." He laughed at Haruka. Haruka smiled and finally unbuttoned Boomer's shirt. That's when Miyako ran away. Whilst trying to find her friends, she realized that she was attracted to Boomer.
.
"-He called her princess, and then she undressed him. I thought that princess was reserved for only me!" Miyako told her friends through tears. Kaoru went into her fighting mode, Momoko tried to shut Kaoru's fighting mode off and Himeko offered her handkerchief to Miyako while comforting her.
"To be honest, I never expected Miyako to fall in love with that guy THIS fast…" Kaoru muttered to herself.
"The nerve of that bitch Haruka." Himeko muttered. Miyako tried to calm herself down.
"No, Hime. I haven't said anything to him about it yet because I only realized it today. He is free to date whomever he wants." Miyako said through her sobs. She fully understood that she was at fault, but why did it still hurt so much? She burst into tears again. Himeko panicked a little, but she calmed herself in milliseconds.
"He's not worth it. You can have a better guy! Maybe the guy that confessed to you a few weeks ago is good enough?" Himeko tried to cheer Miyako up.
"You can't understand it, but I can't be with anybody else." Miyako said in-between her heavy sobbing.
As the three girls tried to cheer Miyako up, Boomer jogged up to the crying girl.
"What happened, princess?" Boomer asked as he tried to touch Miyako. He received death glares from Kaoru, Momoko and Himeko. He wasn't sure which glare was the scariest.
"Stop calling me that. I hate it." Miyako said with a cold voice through her sobs.
"My princess, you're acting a bit out of your usual character. Did something happen?" Boomer touched her hair. She flinched and stepped away from his hand.
"Please don't." She wanted to say something more cold, with maybe swearing, but it was a bit too hard.
"Why are you so suddenly mad at me?"
"Seriously? You ditched your daily promise to eat together to fuck some random chick that wanted it." Kaoru said and tried her best not to kick his balls. Boomer furrowed his brows. The girls didn't allow him to speak. They took Miyako and walked away.

.
At the lab, Peach did countless tricks to cheer Miyako up. She stopped crying, but she continued to be sad. And mad at herself.
She didn't have the need to be in love with that man! She just had to marry him first and maybe learn to love him later. After all, her mission was to continue Tokyo's hero line, not be upset that Boomer was with another girls. He had the absolute right to be with a different girl, since he thought of Miyako as just a friend.
Which did not mean that she wasn't hurt. She knew she shouldn't be like that, but she couldn't help it.
When she was about to burst into tears again, the lab doors opened. Boomer was out of breath.
"Why are YOU here? And where did you find out about this place?" Kaoru growled, shifting her attention on Boomer from her father's recent pro-wrestling match.
"Himeko… I… Sorry my princess…" He breathed.
"Don't call me like that. I don't want to be like every girl you talk to." Miyako looked at the ground.
"Miyako… let's… talk outside…" He struggled to regain his breath. Miyako nodded, stood up, and let Boomer lead the way.
.
.
The minute they stepped outside, Boomer suddenly hugged her.
"Himeko told me everything and-God this is cheesy- it's not what it looks like." Boomer murmured. Miyako pushed him away. She had a look on her face saying: "Explain yourself. Now".
"You see, Haruka spilled her drink on me when she wasn't looking where she was going. She dragged me away and wanted to wash the stain. She was crying because of her clumsiness, so I petted her head."
"You had her undress you!" Miyako exclaimed whilst being surprised at the sudden burst of anger she displayed.
"I admit, maybe teasing her at that situation wasn't the smartest." Boomer rested his hand on the back of his neck.
"And you called her princess." Miyako whispered quietly, but audibly enough for Boomer to hear her. Boomer laughed at that. Miyako was about to cry from embarrassment.
"I call every girl princess." Boomer explained. Miyako made a face that told "So I'm not any different from any girl." Boomer stepped closer to Miyako. "But no other girl was ever called "my princess"." He cupped Miyako's cheek.
Miyako widened her eyes in shock. She parted her lips to say something. She was stopped by Boomer.
"Yes, that does mean that I really like you." The boy smiled. Miyako suddenly became red. She hid her face in her hands.
.
.
"You are WHAT?!" Boomer exclaimed.
"PowerPuff Girls Z. You've got hearing problems?" Kaoru said.
"I'm Rolling Bubbles, Momoko is Hyper Blossom and Kaoru is Powered Buttercup." Miyako explained. "A-and our mission right now is to marry you and your brothers and ha-have babies…" She added quietly. Boomer couldn't help but smile.
"So I guess I'll tell my brothers, right?"
"No, we're not allowed unless your brothers say genuinely that they love us." Momoko sighed. "But you can help us!" She grinned. Boomer made a thinking face for a few seconds.
"Alright." Boomer grinned at the PowerPuffs.
