A/N: I honestly forgot how I normally start off my chapters. -Facedesk-
Ok like I said this chapter is nothing, but the fight. Maybe a quick make-out scene with Paul and Callie. Of course I own nothing.

Callie's PoV
The day before the big fight, Paul carried me up to a small campsite. Upon arriving I noticed Bella, the mind reader's girlfriend. I gave a small smile and waved, she returned with a wave. I slid off Paul's back onto the ground that was covered in fresh snow. I took a few steps, before Paul let out a low growl. I looked over at him he was crouched glaring at the mind reader.
"Relax Paul, Jacob said he'd be here by tonight to take the first watch." He looked at Paul. "No need to stay. I have no interest in human blood." He chuckled. Paul seemed to relax a little bit. "He's worried that just Jacob being here won't be enough protection. But tomorrow before the fight Seth is coming to take Jakes place. So you guys will have extra power."
"Plus Paul if you're that worried why don't you stay here." I teased. Paul grunted and shook his head. "Then stop complaining." I snapped, Pauls ears shot up. Behind him Jacob strolled up the mountain, a pair of shorts tied around his leg and another pair in his mouth.
"Paul those are your shorts." I giggled, behind me I heard Bella start laughing too. Paul snapped the shorts from Jake's mouth and ran into the woods. A few seconds later Paul came running out human.
"Damn it woman." He mumbled as he leaned down to kiss me gently on the lips. "Jake I trust you with my life."
"He said you can."
"Well no shit, otherwise I'm coming after him with some hedge trimmers." Paul said in a dry voice. I laughed at Pauls dry threat, he knew Jake wouldn't let anything happen to me. "There's a storm moving in tonight. Keep them warm Jake, a human could freeze out here." Paul leaned down and kissed me again.
"Come back to me when it's over?" I asked in a whisper.
"You're worth fighting for." He smiled kissing me again. Paul straight out and walked over to Edward. He whispered something to the vampire, then walked away to meet up with the rest of the pack.
"Jake lets go get some firewood." I said smiling.
"Alright!" Jake gave a goofy grin then lead the way into the woods. After picking up about 10 large pieces of wood. We started to walk back to the campsite when Jake stopped. I looked up at him, his eyes were almost bulging out of his head.
"Jake? What's wrong." I whispered, he didn't respond so I listened. I could hear 2 muffled voices.
"You're going to have to tell him sooner or later Bella."
"I know I just want to wait till after this, I don't want him to be all upset and go out there trying to kill himself because of this."
"Well he's gone looking for firewood with Callie, will you please wear the ring?" I looked over at Jake, he started to drop the wood. I quickly jumped out of his way as he ran off into the wood again.
"Jake? … Jake!" I screamed trying to run after him. Suddenly a loud sad howl filled the air.
"DAMNIT EDWARD!"
Paul's PoV
I could sense Callie was in the woods, why I had no clue. But she was with Jacob, I laid down and let out a sigh.
Something wrong? Sam asked.
I wanted to be with her for the night, to keep her warm. I said letting out another sigh. I felt someone phase, then memories flooded my head.
Jake was with Callie, and the leech had known he was close by. Bella and him were talking quietly, but Jake's hearing picked up the conversation.
"'You're going to have to tell him sooner or later Bella."
"I know I just want to wait till after this, I don't want him to be all upset and go out there trying to kill himself because of this."
"Well he's gone looking for firewood with Callie, will you please wear the ring?'"
"She's going to marry him! She can't marry him!" Jake yelled, the pain in his voice was hard to bare.
Jake relax! You left your spot, Paul go take over till I can get Jake relaxed enough Sam ordered. I couldn't help but chuckled and I raced up the mountain to Callie.
I phased before I stepped out into the campsite. Callie was dragging the logs Jacob had dropped.
"Please go punch Edward. He hurt Jacob." Callie let out a small sigh, I walked over to her and grabbed the log.
"I know baby, but I can't just punch him. I'll let Jake do that honors when he comes back." I kissed Callie on her forehead, I heard a branch behind my break. I whipped around to see Edward ripping a huge Oak tree apart.
"I hurt her! I was so stupid!" I yelled ripping a huge branch off the tree.
"And hurting an innocent tree is going to do what? It won't help you apologize to her." Callie yelled back, her voice was laced with anger.
"I know!" Edward shouted punched the tree, the top of the tree broke clear off. "I know." He whispered, before he jumped down. "Where did Jake go?"
"He's running with Sam trying to cool off. Where is Bella?" I asked.
"She went over that way." Edward pointed to the cliff, I could see Bella sitting on the ground curled up in a ball. Callie walked over to her, carefully she sat down next to her. Bella fell into Callie's embrace, I heard a sob.
"You really did a number on her. What were you thinking?" I asked trying to keep my temper low.
"I wasn't but I knew she wouldn't tell Jake. I didn't want him to feel lost when she didn't go to La Push anymore. I just knew he had to know." Edward looked at the ground, if leeches could cry I think Edward was going to. "I just… I didn't want him to hurt anymore. I can read his mind, it's laced with pain and suffering. He's in love with her, and he wishes he could imprint on her to give her a normal life."
"There's nothing normal about being a werewolf or a vampire. Shit happens, I wish I wasn't a wolf so Callie could have a normal life."
"You know she got an offer about going back to gymnastics, to go and try for the Olympic team. She turned it all down, because she'd rather be here then across the country away from you."
"She told me, but kept the fact she could be an Olympian." I let out a sigh "Women"
"Couldn't agree more."
Callie's PoV
Jacob didn't come back to the campsite, so at night when the wind got rough Paul curled up in between me and Bella to keep us warm. Edward protested, but quickly went silent when Bella's teeth started to chatter. I feel asleep quickly, cuddling up to my personal space heater.
In the morning I dressed in warm clothes and exited the tent. Paul had left and Seth had come to take over his spot.
"Morning Seth." I smiled and walked over to the small brown wolf. I could tell Seth was upset about missing the fight, but he gave me a silly wolf grin. "Tell Paul I said good morning, and tell the pack to be safe."
"The pack knows to be safe." I heard a voice say behind me, I turned quickly to see Jacob walking towards me.
"Why are you here?" I asked.
"Wanted to talk to Bella… So I did."
"Oh, you're going to fight now?"
"Yeah, I need to hurry. Seth take care of Callie or Paul will hang us both."
"Be safe."
"Always." Jake said before running off to the woods. I let out a sigh, and sat next to Seth. The snow started to crunch in front of me, I looked up to see Edward standing there.
"She's happy. I know he's happier." Edward said groaning. Seth shook his head, he knew what had happened.
"Well she's happy, that's all you can be happy about." I said with a smile, Edward looked down at me as Bella walked into view. "Morning Bella."
"Hey Callie." She said walking over to Edward and kissing his cheek. Edward went stiff. "The fights started. They don't know about the pack. The packs out, Jacob just got there." I felt myself start to shake from excitement. "Somethings wrong… Victoria isn't there. Seth you need to go hide, take Callie with you."
"What's wrong Edward?" I asked hopping onto Seth's back.
"She's coming here, and she's not alone."
Seth's PoV
I could sense the pack gearing up.
"Seth make sure to keep Callie safe." Sam ordered
"I know you said it like a million times." I said rolling my eyes.
"Where's Jake at? He's gonna miss the fight!" Quil laughed. I heard the tent zipper and looked to see Callie stepping out.
"Callie's awake Paul."
"Good morning Seth." Callie said with a smile as she walked over towards me. I wagged my tail and gave her a wolfy grin. "Tell Paul I said good morning, and tell the pack to be safe." She added.
"Callie says good morning and be safe guys." I said for her
"Awesome." Paul said back.
"The pack knows to be safe." I heard a voice say behind Callie, I looked up to see Jacob walking towards us.
"I found Jake." I laughed.
"Where is he?" Sam asked
"Callie's asking him."
"Why are you here?" Callie asked.
"Wanted to talk to Bella… So I did."
"Oh, you're going to fight now?"
"Yeah, I need to hurry. Seth take care of Callie or Paul will hang us both."
"Be safe."
"Always." Jake said before running off to the woods.
"Heading your way guys." Jake said after he finished phasing.
"About damn time pup!" Sam yelled.
"I'm sorry. But I got to kiss her."
"Way to go Jake!"Embry shouted. I rolled my eyes and looked up to see Edward walking towards me and Callie.
"She's happy. I know he's happier." Edward said groaning. I shook my head, knowing what had happened between Jake and Bella.
"Well she's happy, that's all you can be happy about." Callie said with a smile, Edward looked down at her as Bella walked into view. "Morning Bella."
"Hey Callie." She said walking over to Edward and kissing his cheek. Edward went stiff. "The fights started. They don't know about the pack. The packs out, Jacob just got there." I could feel my pack getting excited as they were ready to attack. "Somethings wrong… Victoria isn't there. Seth you need to go hide, take Callie with you."
"What's wrong Edward?" Callie asked hopping onto my back.
"She's coming here, and she's not alone."
"Paul, Victoria's coming for Bella. Edward said she's not alone." I said running into the woods to hide Callie from Victoria.
"What!" Paul roared, I saw him take out a small newborn. "Keep her safe!"
"I promise I will." I tucked Callie under me and listened for the leeches.
"Well well well… Edward and his little pet." The voice said quietly.
"Riley, don't listen to her. You're not her soul mate." Edward said in a cool voice.
"He's trying to distract you my love, remember he can read minds."
"Shut up! She loves me." The boy named Riley hissed.
"Oh I can smell another little snack. Riley go find the other girl." I heard Callie gasp, and I forced her under me for more protection.
"Paul this isn't looking good." I said
"I'm coming!" He yelled. I heard Riley's footsteps walking towards me, as he got closer I let out a low growl.
"Seth." I heard Callie breath my name, she was terrified. Riley came into view, and gave me a pathetic growl.
"Come on wolfie hand over the girl." I growled louder, defending Callie was my mission. Riley jumped up and so did I. I grabbed Riley by the shoulder, ripping off his whole arm. "Victoria! Help me!" He screamed.
"Save yourself you runt!" She snapped at him. I grabbed at Riley again this time by the throat. I snapped his head off.
"Seth! Help me!" I snapped my head in Callie's direction. A male leech had her by the neck. I growled ready to lunge for him.
"Now now Mr. Wolf. You wouldn't wanting me hurting my own daughter."
"Shit…" I said.
"What is it!" Paul and Sam asked.
"Callie's dad has her."
Callie's PoV
Seth killed Riley, one less vampire to worry about. Before I could even let out a sigh of relief I was in a chokehold.
"Seth! Help me!" I choked out a scream. Seth snapped his head in my direction and let out a growl. The grip got stronger.
"Now now Mr. Wolf. You wouldn't wanting me hurting my own daughter." I tried to look at my captor, but I already knew it was my dad.
"Daddy let me go!" I cried thrashing in his grip.
"Damn it shut up Callie." I felt myself starting to black out from the lack of oxygen.
"Let her go." Edward said walking over to me.
"She's mine! Victoria said she could be mine again!"
"She will always be yours, you're just killing her now." My head feel to the side, the grip loosened. I fell to the ground coughing and gasping for air.
"You bastard!" I yelled at my dad, climbing to my feet I looked at him in the eye. "You made me and mom think you were dead! Yet here you are with that fucking redhead!" I coughed some more, and let out a cry.
"I'm sorry." My dad whispered.
Paul's PoV
"I'm sorry." I heard Callie's dad whisper. There was a loud snap and Callie screamed. I ran out of the woods and attacked Callie's dad. While I dealt with him, Edward grabbed Callie and ordered Seth to get sticks and pieces of cloth. I was finished with him, I looked at Callie, her forearm was snapped in half. Edward help his mouth to her shoulder, I phased not caring.
"What the fuck are you doing!" I yelled at Edward trying to pull him away.
"He bit her, the venom will turn her if it's not taken out. Do you want a vampire girl friend or human?" Edward snapped at me. He went back to Callie's shoulder, he came up with a smile "She's clean now. Seth come here, Paul put some pants on." I ran out and put on my cut offs. When I came back Callie was whispering quietly.
"Hey baby." I said picking her up bridal style.
"Paul…" She said weakly.
"Shhh. Rest you've had a long day." I kissed her forehead.
"She'll be ok, but Carlisle is going to have to look at her arm." Edward said "Let's head down to everyone else." He added grabbing Bella's hand and dragging her down the mountain.
When we reached the bottom the rest of the pack was there, still in wolf forms. Edward walked over to Carlisle and whispered something. Carlisle quickly walked over to me and Callie.
"Let me see her arm." He asked quietly. I carefully head out the broken arm, and looked at it. "Take her to my house, I'll get it in a cast." He smiled before joining his family.
"Thank you for coming, you all can go before the Volturi come and "clean" up this mess." Jasper said relaxed.
