Fated Encounter

CHAPTER 26

Sakura finally slipped inside the room after waiting for Tamaki to leave the area close by. The door wasn't locked as she turned the knob and peered inside. It was completely black inside just like in her room.

She couldn't hear anything much except a silent dragging sound.

Then out of nowhere something brushed against her leg. She inhaled in frights as she almost stumbled backwards until her brain took in the smooth feeling of snake skin that had surprised her.

"Sakura?" Sasuke's groggy voice surprised her.

"Sorry, did I wake you?" Sakura bit down on her lip. She knew Sasuke wasn't one for sleeping much and having him fall asleep was almost rare these days. So of course, she felt bad if she woke him up.

"No." He croaked and Sakura felt the snake slither in his direction before it likely disappeared inside his sleeve.

"Sorry.." She mumbled almost inaudibly.

"Sakura, stop apologizing and get in here." Albeit tired, but still Sasuke got his voice to sound stern and Sakura barely even noticed her body moving on its own towards him. She couldn't see him, but as she was close enough Sasuke's hand wrapped around hers and directed her to the other side of him.

Carefully, she eased down next to Sasuke on the futon surprisingly close to him as Sasuke wrapped his arms around her.

"Did you eat?" He asked finally after a moment of silence and Sakura starting to feel the effects of having her stomach fed properly. Her eyes were starting to close slowly and she had to pry them open to stay awake.

"Yup," She said quietly, "the cat lead me to Tamaki and she helped me to the kitchen."

Sasuke's chest grumbled with his approving answer. Sakura was relieved that he didn't seem annoyed with her at all, even though she woke him up from his sleep. He even seemed to be in a much better mood than Sakura really anticipated.

Tamaki was uncertain to let her venture into Sasuke's room since the said Uchiha was very grumpy in his ways and liked his own space. All in all, Sakura's insistence of being allowed to his room much have come to the other girl as a surprise to some extent. Of course, Sakura was "in love" with him back when they were genin and all Sakura wanted was to be near Sasuke.

But this time it wasn't just because of a teenage crush why she wanted to see him.

"Sasuke?" Sakura asked hesitantly hoping that Sasuke was still awake. His breathing was calm and level, almost tricking one thinking that he was asleep. But Sakura also knew that Sasuke much rather wanted her to fall asleep before he did.

"Hn."

"Why did we come here?" He hadn't mentioned to anyone why they came this way. All he mentioned was that they needed to reach a village near by the Northern hideout. Sakura couldn't even began to believe that they were headed this way. Although, she wasn't in the best of shapes before losing consciousness.

"To restock our weapons."

"Oh... I forgot your clan used this place as a weapon seller." Sakura muttered more to herself that anyone else. "Comes in handy in a situation like ours."

"It does."

"Can I see their medical supplies?" Sakura asked as if he knew anything about them.

"We have to ask tomorrow. They might not have a large variety, but I'm sure they have something of use." Sasuke explained patiently.

"Thanks, by the way." Sakura smiled softly against Sasuke's collarbone.

"For what?" She could imagine the way his brows furrowed in confusion.

"For letting me reach my limit, even though I didn't know it. I really, really needed to rest and quite honestly saying I feel a lot better now."

"You need more rest." Sasuke retorted and Sakura wanted to smack him. She was feeling a lot better and just whole a lot more energized than before.

"I know." Sakura succumbed to the reality and the facts easily. Fighting about her energy levels and well-being wasn't something she wanted to do in the middle of a night, because Sasuke was definitely the one to win. He knew all the things she and her body went through in the past year.

Another stretch of silence spread around the two of them. But instead of falling asleep, Sakura felt even more restless.

It was rare for the two of them to have alone time now that they had three other people tagging along. And in some ways Sakura felt separated from Sasuke because of the presence of Suigetsu, Karin and Jūgo. It wasn't their fault for being there, but it just felt unnatural to be as close to Sasuke with everyone else around them. Being alone with Sasuke in a room with no one else in it was a rare thing these days.

As a group, they much rather shared a bid room than reserved different rooms for everyone. In their situation, it was much safer to be surrounded by each other than be separated by a wall.

Luckily this place was completely abandoned and not many people knew of Uchihas secret weapon seller.

But, whether it was the privacy or the calmness, Sakura had no idea which compelled her to do the next thing.

In a way, it was all her doing but suddenly her body was on top of Sasuke, who was groggily trying to think what was going on. Sakura couldn't see any defining features in front of her, but the more her eyes adjusted to the darkness, she could see the outlines of the boy under her.

Carefully, she leaned down and gave a small peck on the warm lips under her.

Sakura was hesitant at first since a small part inside her said that this wasn't a good idea, but the moment she felt Sasuke's warm fingers gently brushing her neck and then settling behind it to pull her close, all her worries fly away. It was all Sasuke, who initiated the more heated version of Sakura's small childish kiss on his lips.

As if fire was initiated, Sasuke's tiredness was nowhere in sight as his arms snaked around Sakura's waist, and in a swift motion he swapped their positions. Sakura was left breathless by the quick action but refrained from not stopping pulling Sasuke closer.

Sakura's excitement grew more and more as Sasuke's body pressed even closer. In a fleeting thought, did she realize that Sasuke was actually completely shirtless, but that didn't worry her at all.

All boundaries disappeared between the two of them and Sakura wrapped her legs around Sasuke's lean hips. As their hips brushed together, Sakura groaned against Sasuke's lips. The feeling was unfamiliar but it tingled in a good way. Her body moving on its own, her hips grounded again wishing to feel that same sparkling sensation that left a trail of fire all over her body. She felt heated all over quickly and her head was in cloud nine.

And it wasn't like Sasuke was going to stop her from taking this further. His arms were holding her tightly against his body was he kissed her right back with dominating movements.

The moment Sasuke's mouth started trailing kisses down Sakura's neck, she started to feel too hot in her own shirt. She didn't have to say anything to the dark-haired Uchiha as he had the same thought of the fabric being the way as his hands gently tugged at the bottom of it. The brush of cold air that hit her skin while she tossed the shirt to the side was a relief.

Sasuke appreciated the newfound space and he continued to trail down kisses to her neck and top of her cleavage. Even though, different parts around Sakura's body were screaming for attention, and no matter how much she wanted Sasuke to go lower, he had other ideas. Sakura groaned in obvious frustration when he started to make his way upwards tugging at the skin just under her ear.

Suddenly Sasuke swapped their position around with him back under her. Sakura was tightly pressed against Sasuke's side as his fingers brushed her side while his other hand grabbed the cover that was thrown aside earlier.

Sakura's body was still wrapped in flames with her breathing hard and heart pounding in her chest. She felt a blush slowly cover her face as she finally realized where things had started to go. But Sasuke didn't seem as bother about it as her since he stopped things from going too far and instead pulled Sakura's warm body closer to him.

Frustrated but still happy, Sakura snuggled closer to Sasuke with her leg in between his as she whispered to him with a grin on her face, "You're annoying."

All she received was a grunt.

Short one again! Life is hectic with school and I hurt my leg almost two weeks ago in the middle of a night. I got a cut on the bottom of my foot and thought nothing about it except when I had limped for a week and the pain wasn't going anywhere. Got a doctor's appointment and found out that I had two small shards of glass inside my foot. It wasn't nice.

Now the muscles on my leg are sore for limping over a week.

But back to business; I hope you guys enjoyed this little smut chapter. Trust me, there will be even more heated ones in the future. We're not just yet at that point in their relationship, for them to go all the way. So patience my friends.

ps. Thanks for the sleeping tips, too! I actually bought lavender essential oil to help me sleep and now that I'm back to walking properly, I will definitely do the nightly walks to get some of that energy burned!
