Hello, everyone. Contrary to popular belief, I'm not dead. I have been incredibly busy over the past year, but I felt I owed it to you guys to post another. I do hope that I kept it in character mostly. That has been my main fear, and one of the main reasons that I am reluctant to post this... But why not? It's New Year's, it's been over a year since I posted on it which is pathetic, I have reviews asking me to update and I feel awful for not doing so, I finally have time to do it, so what the hell, right?

Disclaimer: I guess it's a good thing that I don't own Fairy Tail, or it would never be finished!

Breaking the 4th Wall of Cliche

Chapter 4: TheRealCelestialMageLucyHeartfilia

TheRealCelestialMageLucyHeartfilia:

Greetings. Please allow me to now post my review on this fanfiction, from writer to writer. I must praise you for your skills in grammar. I think you could write some really amazing things! There were only one or two minor mistakes that could be easily missed, and so I understand that. However, that is where my praise ends.

Apparently, where you are from, this fanfiction you are writing stems from a story of a fictitious world detailing the exploits of a guild known as Fairy Tail. However, I think you are misunderstanding the intentions of the guild and what it really stands for. I know Fairy Tail very well, and all of the people in it.

Which is why I felt compelled to leave you this response. Truth be told, we all feel incredibly insulted and this was painful for us to read. I can only imagine what fans of the series Fairy Tail who understand what it actually stands for must be thinking when they read this garbage.

First, in your story, the use of the nickname, 'Luce.' Where did you even come up with that? That nickname has never been (and better not be in the future) used! Then, you depict Lucy as this pushover codependent girl who gets slapped around by one guy and bounces off to the next like a floozy. You show Natsu as some flaky scumbag who slaps around and casts aside his longtime partner for his missing friend who returned, who happens to be a conniving, evil, backstabbing, not to mention jealous witch? Am I missing something?

I did do some research about your Fairy Tail series to make sure that you weren't being mislead by any false information, but the series backs up everything that I have experienced thus far. So where in the world are you getting these cringe-worthy ideas from? The only one spreading false information here is you. Which, I will have you know that there is such a crime as libel...

I am not weak. I would not tolerate anyone treating me like crap! Otherwise, do you think that I would have left my father to pursue my dream? Wrong! Think again! If I was that weak, then I would never have left my father's to start life on my own! Also, Natsu would never hurt me or anyone he considers family (not intentionally anyway). He certainly would never kick me off the team! The guild isn't so weak-minded to turn on their own members just because someone says to do so. And Lisanna, how in the world could you even imagine that Lisanna is that awful? When has she been nothing but nice, loving and supportive, to both friends and family?

I have also noticed that there are several other stories almost identical to this one, leading me to ask the next question of you. Why does this seem to garner so much popularity? Does having a main female lead in the story getting beaten around and picked on at the whims of a manipulative witch really appeal to you people? I would shudder to think of what your society must be like. A society that seems to enjoy ostracizing others just for the sheer drama of it? I certainly hope that I never find myself in your world, then. It must be a terrible place.

This is so utterly upsetting that people think of me this way, I honestly have nothing else that I can think of to say. All I can think of to close is, please, stop this. Use your skills for something good and not libel. Please.

Author's Note: I hope that it came across as at least decently passable. I guess review and let me know. Also, I'll try to get the next one out before 2018 hits. LOL! Take care, and have a wonderful New Year's! ~halliegirl
