*Dia appears* "Ruby?"

"Kyaa!" *Ruby falls*

"Are you all right?"

"I-it's fine…" *Ruby stands up* "T-thank you for the concern?"

"I see… Right now, you were training, right?"

"Yes! Ruby needs to get stronger. Everyone in the army is very strong so I have to do my Rubestest."

*Dia chuckles* "I see… You are doing your best as well… Please do not overwork yourself though. The thing when training is to know your limit. Magic has limit and ignoring that might provoke Magic Deficiency illness. Be sure to take as much rest as possible."

"Y-yes, Onee-chan…"

"Well then… They need me on the front line. See you later, Ruby! Just contact me whenever you need anything. Anything, okay?" *Dia leaves*

"Y-yes!" *Ruby smiles* "Onee-chan is so kind and caring… All right! I will do my Rubestest as well!"

"Hyaaa!"

"Yuishotto…"

"Kyaa!" *Ruby falls*

"Ruby? Are you all right? Do you need a break?"

"I-it's fine!" *Ruby stands up* "I need to get stronger so I can protect Onee-chan as well."

"Silly! I will be the one protecting you. If anything ever happened, you should always be free to run in where I am. The battles are getting tougher lately, so I want you to be as close as me as possible. Who knows what kind of enemies are out there."

"Onee-chan…" *Ruby smiles* "I got it!"

"Glad to hear that!"

*Ruby nods* "Then, let us resume the training!"

"Here I go!"

"Hyaaa! And another one down…" *Dia sighs* "There are no end to them…"

*Ruby appears* "Onee-chan, behind you!"

"What?"

*Ruby cast a spell* "That was a close one! That archer was sneaking behind Onee-chan. Thank God I happened to see him."

"Ruby… So, you were watching my back this whole time?"

"Onee-chan said that Ruby should not get to afar so I followed Onee-chan, protecting you from behind."

"I see… Good girl!" *Dia pats Ruby's head*

"Say, Onee-chan…"

"What is it, Ruby?"

"We will always be together, right? Nothing will ever separate us, right?"

"Ruby?"

"Please promise me you will never marry anyone and let them take you away from me. I really care about Onee-chan and always want to be by your side."

"Ruby… I know. I promise! We will always be together."

"Really?"

"Really!" *Dia smiles* "That's why the two of us have to get stronger and protect each others until the end of this war."

"Yes! I will do my Rubestest!"

Ending

The Kurosawa sisters returned in their homeland following the end of the war. Neither of them ever got married, preferring to look after each others and their parents than to have a husband. The tale about the bound between these two sisters was still very popular even centuries later.
