The drama queen came back to the apartment after having another argument with the lawyer. She left Joanne frustrated and Maureen went out to burn some steam.

This time, She didn't go to club to get drunk, she didn't flirt with any strangers that night and decided not to stop at the loft. Instead, she took a cab to Central Park to think whether this fighting was going to lead to a permanent breakup. Maureen came back to the apartment a few hours later after sunset and quietly opened the door.

She plopped herself in front of couch and cuddled the closest pillow that was near her.

The lawyer emerged from the office minutes after. Maureen looked up,

"Hey Honey Bear," She said, her lips creating a soft smile, "Umm, How was your night?"

"It was good."

Maureen seemed very calm. Joanne went over to the couch and sat next to her. She noticed that the drama queen didn't reek of alcohol or woman's perfume.

"She's clean." Joanne thought to herself.

The lawyer couldn't handle the awkward silence and pressed her lips firmly onto the diva's red lips,

"I'm sorry Honeybear."

"I'm sorry I flirted with the woman in rubber Pookie."

Maureen wrapped her arm around her waist and turned on the tv. The show that was on the television was Tom and Jerry.

"Were you watching this when I was gone?" Maureen snickered,

Joanne rested her head on the diva's shoulders, "I might've wanted to hit you with a frying pan or throw you into a vat of lava."

Maureen uncoiled herself from the woman's waist,

"Honey are you okay?" She asked gently, not wanting to start another fight.

The drama queen formed a wicked grin, "Oh, I don't know…"

Joanne suddenly felt Maureen hurdle a pillow towards her face. She moved the curls out of her face,

"You are so not getting away with this!" Joanne said playfully, running towards Maureen.

The lawyer chased the diva around the couch multiple times before Joanne was able to pull her from the other side of the couch,

"Gotcha!" Joanne yelled,

Maureen landed on top of the lawyer, "I give in!" She giggled.

They both controlled their laughter before embracing in a kiss. Joanne wrapped a blanket around Maureen, and the two watched Tom and Jerry for the rest of the night.
