Chapter 10

King Candy put down the unconscious Vanellope on the top of the Diet Cola volcano. He smiled wickedly at the girl, looking forward to her demise.

"Once I throw you in the lava, you'll never be revived and I'll won't have to worry about you ever again!" he chuckled. He grabbed a hammer behind him to destroy the top of the volcano.

"End of the line, glitch!" cried King Candy. He raised the hammer when…

"You're right! It is the end of line for you!"

King Candy looked up with a "Huh?" to see Sora and Wreck-It Ralph….flying?

"No, impossible!" growled King Candy. Sora nodded at Tinker Bell who flashed out.

"We're….here….to….stop…..you!" breathed Ralph, who was catching his breath from flying. That was the first time he actually exercised.

"I don't think so!" scowled King Candy. "When I'm done here, you both will be joining your friend in a hot grave!" He snapped his fingers and two candy-fied Heartless appeared.

As Ralph and Sora battled the Heartless, they also attacked King Candy to stop him from blowing up the volcano. By the time the Heartless were defeated, King Candy managed to crack the volcano. The floor started to shake.

"See you on the other side, glitches!" laughed King Candy, jumping off the volcano. Sora and Ralph gasped as the floor became hotter and hotter.

"Ouch! Ouch!" howled Ralph, stomping his feet. Sora grabbed the still unconscious Vanellope.

"Come on, Ralph!" yelled Sora, running to jump off. Ralph thought Sora was crazy, but it was worth the shot. The two jumped right off with Vanellope as the cream lava exploded everywhere. They rolled on the ground when they got down.

"Are we dead?" asked Ralph. Sora looked up to the cream lava oozing everywhere.

"Not yet!" gasped Sora.

"Whoa!" yelped Ralph. They immediately picked up the speed, getting to safety in the forest. They watched as the volcano stopped oozing.

"I hate soda," frowned Ralph. Sora put Vanellope on the ground and took out her heart. Immediately, the heart was restored to Vanellope and she fluttered her eyes.

"Kid!" gasped Ralph.

"You okay there?" checked Sora.

Vanellope groaned.

"What the fudge?" she groaned woozily. Vanellope dizzily started to get up, and Sora and Ralph had to hold her on for support.

"You were gone for a while," explained Sora. "But, don't worry. You're fine now." The first thing Vanellope saw when she got up was the volcano.

"My home!" gasped Vanellope. "It never erupted like this! What happened?"

"Well, King Candy…" Sora started to explain when Vanellope gasped.

"King Candy?!" she shouted. "He was at the volcano?!"

"Yes, why?" asked Sora.

"He didn't went in, did he?" Sora and Ralph were confused.

"No, why and how would he be…?"

"Ok, good! I'm still safe!" Vanellope started to run to the volcano.

"Wait!" called Sora.

"What are you doing?" called Ralph.

"Umm…I'm going home!" yelled Vanellope, who continued to run. Sora and Ralph looked at each other, confused. Vanellope stopped running and rolled her eyes.

"You stinkbrains are coming or not?" she called. Sora and Ralph looked at each other and shrugged, and ran after her.
