I followed behind Summer as she led me through the allies and the streets passing all the shops and people. (I was so thankful I ran into her, I would've been lost, phew.) Her ponytail bounced as she walked. (I thought it was pretty.) I noticed that people didn't really stare at me that much anymore (Thank the gods. The staring made me feel insecure.) they minded their own business.

After a while of walking, we met up with what seemed to be some friends of hers. A pink haired boy with a white scaly scarf, and a blond haired brown eyed girl with keys. (Oh, and this weird blue cat... with wings?)

"Natsu! Lucy! This is Rayleigh, he helped get rid of those bandits back there."

The pink haired boy (which I assume was Natsu) replied "Oh. Really? Is he strong?" He gave me a boyish wide smile.

"Don't mind Natsu there. Thanks for helping us out, sorry if it was any trouble." the blond haired girl with the keys said. "They've been causing a lot of trouble around here recently and they even attacked Summer."

The blue cat added an "Aye!"

"Anyway, I want to take Rayleigh to Fairy Tail." Summer said, seeming to want to get past the part of where the bandits attacked her.

"Sure! Let's go, I wanna see how strong he is!" Said an excited Natsu

We weaved through the streets and crowds of people. There were stands with people showing off the latest magical tools, other people selling food, some clothes, fabrics, and weapons. I faintly remember Magnolia, this is where I met Genesis and- and some people from some guild, I remember making some kind of promise too, if only I could see someone from that guild, I never forget a face.

Magnolia was huge, the buildings were nice, and the surrounding mountains were so beautiful. It was around midday, the sun beaming down on the city, even with the light reflecting into my eyes, the city was stunning.

As we walked Natsu and the blue cat were talking, (yes, I was surprised that the blue cat could talk) and Lucy was laughing every now and then at what they said. I would occasionally glance at Summer, she seemed to enjoy just watching Natsu and Lucy chat. However, I had a few questions.

"So, Fairy Tail, a magic guild right? Are the people there strong?" I asked Summer as she snapped out of her little world.

"Yeah, suuuper strong. Well at least Natsu, Erza, Gray, and all- ah, sorry, you don't know those people do you?" She asked, with a slight blush.

"No clue." I replied "It's fine, go on."

"They're one of, if not THE strongest guild in Fiore. All the members are basically family and are super accepting of people." She smiled as she talked about how the Fairy Tail guild was such a good place.

This made me happy, hearing about a guild full of people that acted like family, it gave me hope that maybe I could find a place where I belonged. Ever since Ragier disappeared, I've felt a bit lonely, then I met Genesis, but traveled on my own after training with him.

Summer went on in explaining Fairy Tail, even though she was a new member, she knew a lot of the experiences like she was actually there. Something was off about Summer, I just couldn't put my finger on it.

Time passed and eventually we ended up at this huge building, the Fairy Tail guild hall, a large mansion like building, large enough to be a castle, the perimeter surrounded by a large fence and completed with a gate. As we stood before this massive structure of a building, memories started flooding back to me. I remembered coming here with Genesis, even though the building was different now.

I remembered the training and meeting the people here, Mira, Makarov, some older kids and adults. One time this super strong guy showed, I think his name was Gildarts, the city had this special mode for him, he was good friends with Genesis too.

We walked in, there were lunch tables on either side of a gold lined red carpet that led to a stage. There was a request board and a bar on the right side as you entered. That's where Natsu, Lucy, and Summer led me. Behind the counter stood a girl with platinum blond hair and a smile.

Her eyes brightened as she saw me, she was beautiful. Natsu and Lucy introduced me to Mira and told her how I took helped take care of the bandits. She didn't look surprised at all to here that I got rid of the bandits. Summer gave me a little shove forward towards the bar.

"Hey, Mira, It's me…" I said timidly.

"Yes, it's been a while Rayleigh, I hear you've gotten stronger now." She said with a smile. "Are you ready to join Fairy Tail?"

(That's right, the promise!) I looked back at Summer who had a very surprised look on her face saying something like why didn't you tell me you knew Mira?! Trust me, if I knew I knew Mira I would've told Summer. I turned back to Mira and gave her a good a smile a I could, "Yes ma'am!"

That's it for now, sorry for the short chapter, I spent like, 2-3 hours writing and goofing off at the same time. Also, I feel like I might pick this fanfic back up even though my friend (Summer) and I don't talk anymore (long story)

Also, before I go, I've made some corrections

Rayleigh is 14 and is 5'10"

To describe his appearance, he has a Tan similar to Natsu's but darker, he also has piercing brown eyes and Brown Hair with Black tips. He is naturally muscular (Muscle tone not muscle mass) and wears a hoodie but, (in classic dragon slayer style) it's sleeveless!
