Another chpt is up. I hope everyone's liking this so far. It's starting out a little slower than before. Trying to build suspense a bit more than what it was the first time around.

What turned out to be a fun night out quickly turned disastrous. Yuna was about to express herself to Tidus, however, as fate would have it, she was stopped before the words could escape her lips. A fatal explosion erupted, which caused the front side of the building to collapse. Who survived and who met certain doom?

Loud sirens protruded through the noisy streets of Zanarkand as many police cars drove swiftly by on coming vehicles in order to get to their destination.

Meanwhile. . .

Smoke from the burning fire exited the opening at the side of the building. Dust filled the area, which partially cleared from certain places inside the building.

"Yuna!" Tidus called out as he waved his hand in front of him to clear the smoke away. He coughed a bit as he looked around. "YUNA!"

"NO!" a young voice cried out. "Gippal!"

Upon hearing that familiar voice, Tidus fought his way through the rabid crowd where he came upon Rikku whom was leaned over Gippal as she clinched to his lifeless hand.

"What happened!" Tidus asked as he rushed to Rikku.

"I don't know!" Rikku cried. "We were near the bar when I heard glass shatter and then everything exploded."

"Dammit!" Tidus said angrily as he then searched for a pulse, however, to his despair, found none. "He's gone."

Rikku felt as if her world had came crashing down around her as she took in Tidus' words. Heartbreaking cries flowed from her as her tears fell from her eyes and upon Gippal.

"He can't be gone!" Rikku cried out desperately. "He can't! He just can't be gone! NO!" Tidus placed his hand upon her shoulder. "Get off of me!" Rikku nearly shouted as she jerked her arm away. All Tidus could do was back off.

Meanwhile, outside of the club, Yuna had escaped with merely a scratch as she quietly searched for anything suspicious. Luckily for her, she had her gun with her, which had been hidden under her clothing. . . somewhere and somehow.

Yuna edged around the side of the building as she kept herself in defense mode, however, as she proceeded to walk, she heard a noise somewhere in the distance. Aiming her gun, she proceeded onward, however, upon taking five more steps forward, she saw a dark figure before her who was prepared to throw what appeared to be a grenade into the upper portion of the building.

Yuna gasped as her eyes widened. "FBI!"

With a quick glance at Yuna, the man clothed in black sprinted away, however, Yuna gave chase. The man ran down the alley way at the back of the building as he then turned the corner and as he approached the front, he was encircled by cop cars as the many officers got out, took cover behind their car doors and aimed straight at him. It's only the big man himself stepped out of his car, glared at the culprit and aimed his gun at him that the guy raised his hands to signal that he had surrendered.

"Drop your weapon. . . now!" Auron demanded firmly and the guy lowered the grenade to the ground and backed away from him as he continued to hold his hands in the air. "Don't move either!" The guy halted immediately and Auron couldn't help but to snicker at the guy.

Just then, Yuna ran out from behind the building and doesn't even pay any attention to her surroundings as she then tackled the guy to the ground. She straddled him as she planted the gun firmly to the back of his head.

"Don't move!" Yuna demanded as she lightly panted. Laughter broke out from Auron, which distracted Yuna's attention and as she looked up to him, she couldn't help but to blush a bit.

"Sitting down on the job, agent." Auron teased as he tossed her a pair of hand cuffs where she then took the culprit into custody. A few officers assisted in taking the jerk-o away.

"Yuna!" A strong, firm voice called out as Yuna made it to her feet. As she looked to her right, she saw Tidus heading straight for her as she ran to him with open arms where they soon embraced lovingly. "I was so afraid you were hurt."

"I'm fine." Yuna said. "Now that you're here."

Yuna held Tidus even closer to her and never once she wanna let go. The warmth of his embrace, the gentleness of his touch was enough to make her heart melt. However, they soon parted.

"Gippal's gone." Tidus said regretfully as a look of shock expressed itself upon Yuna's face. "He didn't survive the explosion."

"What!" Yuna nearly shouted. "How can that be?"

Tidus shook his head. "We haven't gotten full detail of things yet, but we will soon." Yuna's heart weighed heavy in her chest for Rikku.

Moments later. . .

The culprit was taken down to the station where he is being questioned by Auron and is he ever working that guy over for information. Help quickly arrived and the wounded were taken to the hospital. Gippal was sought to immediately, and after much work, a faint heartbeat was obtained, however, his condition is very critical at the moment. A certain someone refused to go, however, he ended up going anyway.

Rikku ran her fingers through locks of sunshine as she kissed his cheek. She looked upon his features with a smile.

"You're going to be okay, Gippal." Rikku said as she tried to not breakdown. "I know in my heart you will be."

Meanwhile, walking down the hallway, Tidus kept blabbering about him having to come up here only for a few scratches. Yuna just grinned and snickered under her breath at him.

"And for what!" Tidus blabbered. "Only to get a band aid for my forehead, which I could have bought at the store."

"Oh, shut up." Yuna said playfully as she stepped in front of him. "I just wanted to know for certain that you were fine."

"Me!' Tidus pondered. "I wasn't the one chasing bad guys in high heels and a mini skirt in the back of a parking lot at night. What if he had tried something with you, Yuna?"

Yuna shrugged her shoulders." All the more reason for you to kick their ass."

"I'm serious, Yuna." Tidus said firmly as a small smile snaked its way upon Yuna's features.

"Stop worrying, Tidus. I'm a big girl." Yuna assured him.

"Let not forget a dare devil, risk taker, act before you think type." Tidus added.

"Okay, okay!" Yuna said. "So, what now? Auron's investigating that guy his way and we know what way that is. Gippal's stable for the time being and Rikku's staying here with him tonight. Lenne's out with Beclem. . . somewhere. She never showed up at the club." Yuna let out a long sigh as she tried to think for a second or two. "Wanna come over for a while?"

"Yeah." Tidus said as he jumped at the offer and Yuna could only smile.

Meanwhile, down at the Zanarkand Docks, a deadly deal was about to take place, which carried a heavy, lethal price.

A tall man dressed in black jeans, a white shirt and a long, black trench coat stood with his back turned, however, as he heard footsteps, he slowly turned around.

"What news of the mission?" the man asked.

"N-n-not good." the second man said with a shaky voice as the man dressed in the trench coat narrowed his eyes at him angrily. "They are still alive."

"What!" the man in the trench coat yelled. "Dammit! They're much better than I had suspected." He then withdrew a hand gun and tossed it to the other man. "Take this!" The man caught the gun, examined it, then looked back at whom was known as his leader. "Finish the job! If you return empty handed, the price yon will pay for your failure will be your life!"

'Yessir." the guy said before he at last darted off.

Later that night. . .

Yuna and Tidus had arrived at her home where he awaited her in the living room. Seconds later, Yuna came back downstairs dressed in something a bit more comfortable than what she had on. She wore a pair of solid pink warm ups, white tank top, and had her hair up in a pony tail, however, most had fallen out in the back. She looked absolutely cute and Tidus couldn't help but smile.

"So. . ." Yuna trailed off as she walked up to Tidus. "In the mood for brownies?"

Seconds later. . .

The brownie mix is dumped into a bowl as the ingredients are added and the blender turned on. Yuna stood at the counter as she mixed up the batter. Tidus walked over to the side of her where he then stuck his finger into the batter and got him a taste.

"Get your fingers out of there!" Yuna demanded playfully and Tidus chuckled.

"You call this brownie mix?" Tidus teased.

Yuna immediately turned the blender off and sat it aside. "What!" Tidus chuckled yet again. "What-ever." She then turned back around and went back to preparing the mixture as she opened up a bag of chocolate chips and poured them in. She then picked up a spoon and began to stir them in, which gave Tidus the opportunity to admire her from behind. He started from her ankles, letting his eyes slowly take in every shape and curve of her very being, however, after taking her in, he approached her where Yuna then felt a pair of hands snake their way across the lower part of her mid section.

"Yuna." a voice of seduction said softly against her ear. Yuna dropped the spoon into the batter, as she turned only to be greeted by a pair of seductive blue eyes. Yuna felt herself being pressed against the back of the counter as Tidus moved in as closely as possible to her as he glided his hands around the small of her back. Yuna could feel the heat of his breath upon her cheeks as he leaned his forehead against hers. "You want to know something?"

"What?" Yuna pondered softly.

Tidus slowly parted a short distance from her as he obtained a small amount of batter on his finger and swiped it against Yuna's nose. "You got a little brown on your nose there, sweety."

Yuna gasped. "You!" Tidus moved swiftly as laughter filled the room, however, Yuna grabbed the blender which was still inside the bowl, aimed it at Tidus and turned it on. Batter flew everywhere and as it was all flung off, Yuna turned to dunk it back into the bowl and that's when Tidus grabbed her from behind and she let out a loud shriek of laughter.

"Gotcha!" Tidus said playfully.

Feeling his arms around her so lovingly, the laughter soon ceased as Yuna leaned her head against the side of Tidus'. She then turned to face him, looking deep into his eyes, which in turned revealed what she was feeling inside.

"Yuna. . ." Tidus drifted off as he want to place his hand upon her cheek as he caressed it dearly. Yuna concentrated upon the feeling of his touch as she closed her eyes, however, it's only when she felt him tilt her head up towards his that she opened her eyes and gazed upon his face. Tidus moved closer, gazing upon her lips. And as he moistened his own, he leaned in and barely met Yuna's lips with his ownand just as he was about to seal that kiss. . .the front door then slammed shut.

"I'm home!" Lenne yelled out from the living room. "Yuna!" She then entered the kitchen and gasped quite loudly at she saw. "What the- - Yuna?"

Tidus and Yuna stood side by side as if nothing had happened.

"What?" Yuna asked innocently.

"The mess!" Lenne said. "What did you two do?"

"Had a food fight." Tidus said with a shrug of his shoulder.

"More less looks like you two were trying to make love in it." Lenne taunted as she then sighed. "I heard about what happened at the club and it's good everyone's alright. Except for Gippal. I pray he'll be okay."

"Where were you, anyway?" Yuna asked.

"Long story." Lenne said. "If anyone wants me, I'll be in the bathroom taking a long, over do, hourly bubble bath and then I am going straight to bed. Night, you two."

"Good night." Yuna said as Lenne then headed for the downstairs bathroom.

Tidus then turned to Yuna who looked at him. "I'm sorry. . . for earlier."

Yuna shook her head. "Don't be." Tidus narrowed his eyes at her in bewilderment. "Why don't we go upstairs and get cleaned up a bit?"

Tidus' eyes shot open. Was she implying that they, you know, take a shower together? Maybe, but then again maybe not. He wasn't about to ask her such a question or even suggest it. At least, not yet.

"Sure thing." Tidus said as he then followed Yuna upstairs, however, as they made it halfway, Lenne let out a blood curling scream that could stop the heart from beating. Upon hearing her scream, Tidus and Yuna ran back down the stairs and headed towards the bathroom where she was at.

"LENNE!" Tidus shouted loudly as he banged on the door and then twisted the knob only to find it locked. "Stand back!" He then got a small run and go and rammed into the door, breaking it open, and as he ran inside, a butt naked Lenne stood there. His eyes flew open as he took in her features and as she turned to face him, she screamed again. Lenne then grabbed the shower curtain and pulled it around her as she hid behind it.

"What's going on!" Yuna asked as she ran into the bathroom.

"Someone was looking in here and watching me through the window!" Lenne said.

Upon hearing this, Tidus withdrew his gun, checked to make sure it was loaded, however, before he was about to head out, a loud "thud is heard upstairs.

"Both of you stay here!" Tidus said as he then left the bathroom and headed upstairs.

Moments later. . .

A few loud noises were heard followed by footsteps. Several shots were then fired, which caused the Lenne and Yuna to lightly scream when suddenly a loud thud is heard near the doorway and a bloody hand fell backwards in front of the bathroom doorway.

Who's bloody hand is that? Is someone dead? Who was shot!
