Morning. . .

The night was soon released from its position and day took its rightful place. The events from last night are still going on strong as they plaque the city like a virus, spreading quickly. Someone's trying to take out the dynamic duo. . . but why? Whoever or whatever wants them out of the way must be planning something big, something dangerous.

Tidus and Yuna were given the weekend off, however, due to the circumstances at hand, were called back into work the very next morning. Yuna had headed in earlier that morning than Tidus as to catch up on a bit of paper work and to get the details straight on what happened last night without Tidus distracting her in any form, which he had a tendency to do whether it was on purpose or not. They way he would give that little crooked grin of is, the way he ran his fingers through his hair to get out of his face, even the way his blue eyes would widen when he got angry was enough to make her heart melt. Yuna lived with these secrets everyday, however, she often wondered what would come of her telling him how she really felt.

Yuna sat at her desk rummaging through the evidence that she had before her. First, Auron had received that strange letter just moments before the club was hit with that grenade, which upon led to the arrest of the bomber. A few lost their lives in that explosion, however, a few still hung in the balance. The guy won't talk as of yet whom wants to deal before he would even dare open his mouth. Then Yuna's home was broken into which led Tidus to shooting the intruder down whom in turn informed them that someone was out to get them. Why? Who's out there? What are they hiding? What are they planning to do to Zanarkand. Whatever that may be, the city could rest assured that whatever was to come forth, the dynamic duo would be there to stop them. Maybe that's why this person thought of them as a threat that must be taken out. Well, he can be sure that the feelings are mutual.

Yuna kept searching through her files when she was suddenly face to face with a pair of blue eyes and she nearly screamed from fright. "Tidus!" She ran her fingers through her hair as she placed her hand upon her chest. "You scared the living daylights out of me!"

"Jumpy?" Tidus teased.

"After last night, yes." Yuna admitted.

"Scared a dead, bloody hand is gonna reach out and grab ya!" Tidus continued to tease.

"You were just a scared as I was last night!" Yuna brought to his attention. "Admit it."

"Never." Tidus said proudly as he sat on the corner of Yuna's desk as he continued to ramble on about he was the brave one out of the two of them. Yuna rolled her eyes as she went back to her paper work, however, her eyes quickly roamed from the paper and back onto Tidus.

"Talk about a fine piece of work." Yuna thought to herself as she began to chew on the end of her ink pen and kept her eyes glued right on Tidus.

"Whoo-hoo! Yuna!" Tidus said as he waved his hand in front of Yuna. "You with me?" Yuna quickly broke from her trance and looked at him and just grinned as she nodded her head. "Good. Now, as I was saying- -"

"Cut the chit chat, you two." Auron demanded as he entered the room. "We've got more pressing matters."

"What's going on?" Yuna asked as she stood to her feet.

"You better get to the hospital." Auron said with regret in his voice. "It's Gippal. He's awake and talking, but his health is failing. He has some information about the events that occurred last night."

"We're on it." Tidus said as he and Yuna then headed out.

Moments later. . .

Tidus and Yuna arrived at the hospital where Gippal awaited them with something unexpected. Rikku was still at his side and was fully aware of his condition, however, she tried not to think about it even though it hurt so much.

Rikku brushed a tear from her eye as she sighed. Gippal slowly opened his eyes and looked into the swirly emerald eyes and could see the sadness that lied within.

"Don't look at me that way, Rikku." Gippal demanded softly.

How am I suppose to look at you, with joy in them?" Rikku spatted at him, which only made his chuckle.

"You know, something good always comes along when something bad happens." Gippal said.

Rikku's eyes flew open wide. "If you weren't lying in that bed, I'd so slap you for saying that!"

Gippal chuckled heartily. "There's the feisty Rikku I know."

"You're dying, Gippal." Rikku said softly. "That's nothing to joke about." Gippal gently brushed her cheek with his hand as Tidus and Yuna then entered the room.

Gippal seen them near the doorway. "Well, if it isn't the dynamic duo!"

"The one and only." Tidus boasted.

"Well, I've got news for the two of you. Quite interesting to be exact." Gippal said as he breathed heavily and the suddenly closed his eyes and let out a small exhale.

"Gip!" Rikku asked concerned. "Gippal!" Rikku nudged him a few times. "GIPPAL?" Rikku instantly broke down into sobs, for she, Tidus and Yuna knew exactly what had just happened.

"I'll get the doctor!" Yuna said as she quickly ran out of the room.

"No, this can't be!" Rikku sobbed. "It can't be true! This isn't happening!"

"Rikku. . ." Tidus trailed off as he approached her. "He's gone." He placed his hand upon her shoulder and she viciously jerked it away from him.

"No!" Rikku shouted in agonizing anger. "He's not gone! He can't be!"

Rikku continued to sob pitifully. She just watched the man she loved with her whole heart and soul die before her very eyes. She felt her knees go weak and began to sink to the floor, however, Tidus quickly approached her and embraced her from behind and held her close to him.

Moments later. . .

Rikku, Yuna and Tidus arrived at the station where some unfinished business was about to be taken care of on Rikku's part.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Yuna asked

"Yes." Rikku said. " I want to look into the eyes that killed Gippal. I have something that I want to say."

"Here's the bastard." Tidus said as he approached Rikku and Yuna with the guy hand cuffed before him.

Rikku stepped forth. "You're the one that was caught trying to blow up everyone?" The man shrugged his shoulders like he didn't care, which only angered Rikku as she then drew her hand back as far as she could and she met the side of his face with the palm of her hand. "I HOPE YOU ROT IN HELL, YOU SON OF A BITCH!"

Rikku then leaped forward onto the guy as she wrapped her hands around his throat and tried her best to choke the life out of him. In the process of doing this, the guy fell back onto Tidus who lost his balance, staggered backwards a bit and landed on the floor with that guy on top of him, and Rikku straddled on top of the culprit who's about to choke to death. Rikku yelled and cursed at the guy in Al Bhed as all eyes were upon them.

Yuna stood there in disbelief and Tidus saw her. "Yuna, don't just stand there! Do something! Get her off of him!" However, before Yuna could react, two officers quickly took Rikku into custody.

"What are you gonna do with her!" Yuna demanded to know.

"You know where people go for assault and battery, miss." the officer said as he then took Rikku away.

Late that evening. . .

The guy decided not to press charges where he once started to. Tidus had a little something to do with that by the way. Yuna was beside herself with grief. She lost one of her dearest friends and she felt for her cousin. Not only had Rikku lost the man she loved, she was behind bars as well. She was to be released in the morning upon Auron's command, however, had to stay there overnight.

Yuna stood in the break room as she looked out the window at the setting sun. She softly sighed when she felt a very familiar presence around her.

"What are you doing in here, Tidus?" Yuna asked quite sternly "I said I wanted to be alone for a few moments.

"Thought you might wanted the company." Tidus said softly as he placed his hands upon her shoulders and then glided them down onto her forearms. "You're not in this alone, Yuna." Yuna slowly turned and faced him. "Don't shut me out." Yuna leaned her forehead against him as he ran his fingers through her delicate trestles as he then caressed her cheek, leaning her face up towards his to meet her eyes with his. It pained Tidus to see the look Yuna had in her eyes and he wanted to take that very pain away. . . but how?

Tidus moved closer, pulling Yuna closer to him. Upon seeing the look of seduction in Tidus' eyes, Yuna knew she had to think fast if she didn't want to let her feelings show.

"I need to go see Rikku." Yuna said as she tried to divert his attention, however, it didn't work. Tidus went to place a chaste kiss upon her lips when she suddenly slipped away from his grasp. She stepped forth and turned towards Tidus who looked her way. "It can't happen. Not like this." Tidus only nodded his head as Yuna then left the room.

Seconds later. . .

Yuna walked in front of the cell where Rikku laid resting and counting the seconds of the long awaited night that approached at a rapid pace. Yuna grabbed the bars as she called out to Rikku who quickly sat up and looked at her cousin.

"How are you?" Yuna asked softly.

"Not so good, Yunie." Rikku said. "I'm sure you already know this." Yuna nodded her head. "What are you doing here?"

"I came to check up on you." Yuna tried to lie.

Rikku studied her cousin's features and knew instantly she was trying to hide something. "You're hiding something from me. I can feel it." Yuna shook her head. "It's Tidus, isn't it?" Yuna looked away. "Yunie, I know you're in love with him." Yuna eyes widen as she looked back at her cousin. "Tell him! Don't wait!"

"Rikku, I don't- -Yuna trailed off

"Cut the bull, Yuna!" Rikku said rather sternly as she got up and walked over to her cousin. "Let me tell you something, Yunie. Nothing could be more painful than watching the one you love die. Within a split second, life as you know it could change. Where life was once happy, it knew only sadness now. No one knows exactly how precious life can be and often it's taken for granted. Sometimes we all need to stop and think and be grateful for what we do have. Never forget yesterday, live for today, and look forward to tomorrow. We are never guaranteed our next breath. That is why we all must embrace life, be thankful for the friends that we have, and I know we cannot forgive and forget most things, but always try and make a mends. And if all else fails, say a prayer. Remember those words. They may come in handy some day." Yuna could only look at Rikku, for she was speechless.

Meanwhile, down at the Zanarkand Docks, word has gotten around to "he who shall not be named" and he is not at all pleased with what he had just heard.

A few of his spies stood before him as they informed him of what has went down.

"At least the fool was silenced by the reaper." the gang leader said, followed by a small sigh. "It's time I took matters into my own hands. I'm placing the three of you in charge of the supplies that's coming in here on the S.S. Liki."

"What are you planning to do?" the first spy asked.

"I've watched those two for quite some time now. I know who their friends are and everything. Apparently, the dynamic duo didn't get the message the first time around. It's time for lesson number 2." the leader said before leaving the docks.

Nightfall. . .

Slipping through the dark allies of the streets undetected, he searched for his next victim. He must choose carefully so that he may get his message across to whom he thought of as a threat. And in this case, the dynamic duo was a sure fire thing of a threat to him.

He ran down the back alley way of the apartment building just up the street from Yuna's home. He then ran down the side of it and around the front of the building. Upon reaching the upper end of the building, he stopped and quietly peered into the window and he grinned from ear to ear once he saw Lenne and Beclem.

"I'm going to take a shower." Lenne said as she headed into the bathroom.

He watched Lenne till she closed the door behind herself where he then quickly ran back down the alley a little ways till he came upon the fuse box. He then opened it, grabbed the wiring and jerked almost everyone of them loose. Surprisingly, he didn't get fried as sparks shot from the box where seconds later, the entire building went dark.

Beclem was now fully alert, for as he looked out the window, the rest of the city had power, but that one particular building did not and this alarmed him dramatically. He felt around the room like the blind leading the blind as he tried to find his way over to his dresser to retrieve his flashlight. After a few moments of feeling around, he at last found it, opened the top drawer, and then turned it on, however, as he looked in the mirror at his reflection he saw a dark figure standing behind him with a wide smirk on their face. Beclem instantly turned around and faced the figure, however, before any action was sought, the dark figure withdrew a huge hunting knife from its side holster and embedded its steel blade straight into Beclem's abdomen. Beclem groaned and cringed in pain as he sunk to his knees where seconds later he laid in a pool of his own blood.

"Beclem!" Lenne called out from the bathroom. "What happened to the lights?"

The dark figure grinned sinisterly as he made his way towards the bathroom. Upon reaching the bathroom, the water ran for a few seconds, but was then turned off. Lenne then heard foot steps. She called out Beclem's name, however, no one responded. Finding it strange even for Beclem, Lenne decided to investigate, however, just as she was about to reach her arms out of the shower and grab her towel. . . a loud growl was let out by the dark figure as he threw his arms around Lenne, trapping her within the shower curtain as she let out a blood curling scream.

Okay, viewers. The choice is up to you whether or not Lenne survives the evil clutches of this wannabe serial murder. Who is he? Why is he doing this? What message is he trying to send to Tidus and Yuna? Are they a threat to him in some way? Gippal was one ofhis manyfirst victim and now Beclem has fallen victim to him. Will Lenne be next? Is Rikku safe? What will his next move be and who will fall victim to him? Don't forget to read and review and give me ur opinion. The Polls are open. Should Lenne live to tell her terrible story or will she be this psycho's next victim?
