LOL Well, enough of my blabbering, enjoy the final chpt of A Crime of Passion.

The water swayed gently under the docks as Rio walked forth slowly. One foot after the other, one step at a time he took. He listened for the slightest sound and watched for the slightest movement. Eerie silence had befallen all at this very moment and everyone was totally on edge. No one knew where the other person was at the very moment. Tidus, Yuna, and Rikku had split up, which didn't go too well with Yuna who was wanting to stay level headed and think before she acted, however, Tidus was just the opposite hencing the fact that he was the act now and think later type. Rikku, on the other hand, didn't have the chance to speak her opinion, for she was outnumbered by both Tidus' and Yuna's willfulness.

Rikku sat humped up behind the corner of the building near the stair way that led up to where the ships docked and loaded/unloaded supplies. All she could hear was her heart pounding in her ears and feel the blood rushing through her very veins when suddenly she heard footsteps slowly approaching her. She felt her heart skip a beat and she gasped. Closer and closer the footsteps came. She closed her eyes from fear and clung to the gun in her hand. And just as the steps couldn't get any closer, Rikku jumped out and took aim, her hand shaking from fear, which certainly rose as her eyes widened, for she was face to face with Rio himself.

Rio just sneered a grin and laughed in a mockery manner at the shaking hand before him. "Afraid, my dear?" Rikku didn't answer his callas question. She only narrowed her eyes and bit her bottom lip out of anger and fear. Rio then opened up his arms. "Shoot me!" Rikku's eyes widened as Rio stepped up to the barrel of the gun and pressed his very own chest against it. "You don't have the guts!" Rikku thought to herself for a moment, stepped back, placed both hands upon the gun and pulled the trigger, however, all that was hear was a simple "click". Rio jumped a little and Rikku gasped who turned the gun, looked at it and then began to pull the trigger hysterically. Rio just laughed and then knocked the gun from Rikku's hand who then screamed. "Next time turn the safety off, my dear!" Rikku then saw her life flash before her eyes as she watched Rio aim his gun at her forehead. "So long!"

"RIO!" came a voice from above.

Rikku looked up as Rio looked back and up at the top of the building behind him where all he saw was a shadowy figure. Shots were fired! Rio returned fire as he ran forth, Rikku dove to the ground to get out of the way. Rio ran forth only to turn and see that the shadow was gone. He panted only to feel gold steel upon his neck.

"Turn around slowly!" demanded a cold, stern voice. Rio slowly turned only to come face to face with Yuna. "Drop your weapon!" Rio hesitated. "NOW!!" Rio dropped his guns to the ground. Yuna took her foot and kicked the gun into the water below. Rio just grinned and then laughed. "You think this is funny?"

"No." Rio admitted with a smile. "I was just thinking what a pity it was that I didn't get a piece while I had the chance." Yuna made a disgusted face only to look away in shame, letting her guard down. Upon seeing this, Rio quickly pulled out the other gun that he had tucked away. Yuna saw this, her eyes widened and just as Rio aimed it at her- - BANG!!!"

A shot cried out through the silence of the night, a gun fell to the ground below, and then Yuna fell to her knees. Rikku ran over to her cousin, very concerned. Suddenly, Rio's body went very limp and he crumpled to the ground. Both Yuna and Rikku gasped, for he just fell inches from their feet. Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth. He muttered Yuna's name in a very eerie manner, reaching out to grab her. Yuna scooted back away from him as did Rikku when suddenly, he just stopped breathing and just let out one final breath, keeping a blank stare upon Yuna. She and Rikku then looked up only to see Tidus standing there with a smoking gun. He then lowered his gun, looked at Rio only to give him one good kick to make sure he was dead. He then turned his attention to Yuna and Rikku who stood up as he approached them and they all embraced in a hug.

A few days later. . .

Yuna stood in what used to be her office gathering up the rest of her things. Auron stepped through the front door unannounced. He cleared his throat, which got Yuna's attention. She just smiled at him as she gather her things up in her arms.

"You know. . ." Auron began while he scratched underneath his the chin in his usual manner. "I really don't- -"

"Auron, no." Yuna said while she put her purse upon her arm. "We both know the ruled, everyone in the entire building and possibly half of Zanarkand knows that me and Tidus slept together. And if I don't go, that will put your job at risk as well as Tidus'." She then sighed. "I told Tidus that if one of us was going to quit, it was going to be me. Tidus has more experience and- -"

"That doesn't matter." Auron said. "You were the part that made Tidus whole and now that you are leaving, well, things just aren't going to be the same."

"Thing's will be ok though." Yuna said as she walked over to Auron. "I'm sure of it." Auron just gave her his usual crooked grin and walked away. Yuna then walked out of her office, took one last look and then sighed as she closed the door and walked away.
