Okies! This is a short story with Yoh and Anna. It's my first fanfic so be nice and R&R please!

Something to Say

Yoh glanced at Anna from across the dinner table. Today was the day. The day when he would finally tell her it.

"Yoh."

Yoh jumped a little. "W-what is it, Anna?"

"You've gotten better at cooking," Anna said, getting up and leaving the room.

As soon as the door closed, Yoh collapsed onto the floor. Whenever Anna talked, it seemed as if he couldn't breathe properly. It had been like this ever since he met her that day five years ago. Of course, Yoh knew why. And that was what he wanted to tell Anna today. He had even gotten her something for the occasion! He kept this special something in a small box in his pocket.

Yoh sighed as he got up and left the room. The problem was that Yoh was scared of what Anna might do if he ever told her it. If Anna reacted badly, then she would probably increase his training by ten or more times! The very thought of that made him shudder. Maybe he shouldn't tell her just yet…

Yoh suddenly froze. There, in the hallway, stood Anna.

Oh well, I better just get this over with and tell her.

"H-hey, Anna."

"Hmm?" Anna looked up at him.

"Umm… uh…well…T-there's something I've been wanting to tell you ever since I first met you."

Anna felt her face start to heat up. "What is it?"

Yoh gulped. There was no turning back now.

He had to tell her.

He was going to tell her.

Yoh reached into his pocket, pulled out the box, opened the box, held it out to Anna, and said those three magic words:

"Want a mint?"

After that, it is said that there were endless screams of pain and anger heard from the Asakura household. And everyone lived happily ever after (except for Yoh that is).

It sucked, I know. No flames please but constructive critizism is okay. Anyways, please review. And if you get the joke then you get a cookie!
