The Corner Of His Eye
( ron / ginny, 100 words, pg )
They should have been twins
(it's not fair)
because that would explain
(what nothing ever does)
why he feels her
(though they've never touched)
behind him
(he can't ever touch)
even when she isn't
(because he's just another brother)
and why his eyes find her
(where the light shows through her dresses)
when he isn't thinking
(at the breakfast table with his mouth dry)
and forgets what he was going to say
(face red, heart pounding)
but they aren't twins
(and this feeling like he's suffocating)
so he gets no easy
(but he can't not look)
excuses
(she's his sister)
