Chapter 12: The True Oppressor
Cranial Shift had entered the atmosphere as he is greeted by a reploid. The reploid walked with him.
"Greeting Master Shift, I am Castro Wells," said Castro as he bows. Cranial Shift looked at Castro the reploid in front of him.
"You are the one who told me about the Biometal that killed Ghost. If you said this information sooner then I would have been her in a flash. Tell me what the person look like," said Cranial Shift as he motion him to stand up.
"How about I show you through Surveillance I had," said Castro. Cranial shift followed Castro to the surveillance room. There they found a girl fighting Ghost with two guns. Cranial Shift smirked as he watches this. Then his smirked wiped down to a frown then anger. At the end of the battle he saw something that makes him frustrated him. The ability of copy the opponent after it is defeated.
"That biometal has escaped from me like the other 6. And now it shows up with a biomatch," said Cranial Shift, "The one that he has to be killed is the worst of them all. Biometal A."
"Sir so what are we going to do now," said Castro. Cranial Shift looked at Castro and has a sinister smile on his face.
"This biometal is coming back over here. So I have a plan to lure it here. Since it is cared for Earth why not destroy that planet to get its attention," said Cranial Shift.
"We would like to do that sir but the canon has been offline and self destructed thanks to two people," said Castro as he shows another surveillance camera. Cranial shift bit his lip.
"So after all these years Terra you decided to show up again. How wonderful. Are you going to turn into that monster that would have killed me. I still have that mark what you have given me," said Cranial Shift.
"Sir??" asked Castro. Cranial Shift has a sinister smile as he looked at the camera of Terra.
"Nothing that person will find a way to be here as well but I do wonder what they are up to now," said Cranial Shift, "Castro I want everyone move out of the way as the canon will be repaired. I am going to send a message to the people of Earth now and start my appearance."
"Yes sir," said Castro. Meanwhile… Arwen and Kira went to the command center of the space colony. Arwen cannot believed that there is air inside of the command center.
"Welcome to the resistance command center. Yes there is air here since three of us are humans," said Rondae.
"Ok cool so that means I do not have to be in my biometal form," said Arwen. Rondae spotted Commander Leila.
"Commander Leila. Are you free?" asked Rondae. Commander Leila smiled as she saw Rondae.
"Hey Rondae I did not know you came to Orbit Space colony. I thought Jean went by herself. And it is Leila," said the commander.
"No she hasn't come by herself. Anyways I like to introduce you two Arwen and her cousin Kira. They both are new transporters," said Rondae. Leila looked at the two and shock to see Kira as a reploid.
"Please to meet you. I am commander Leila but just call me Leila I do not like titles that I do not deserve," said Leila.
"Again are you going to say that. How many times that I have to say that title suits you especially Commander Prairie told you to take over," said Rondae. Arwen giggled.
"Well it sounded like you are like her in a way," said Kira, "Arwen and I have been hibernating for 200 years and we know that Commander Prairie said the same thing on your shoes. She rather be called Prairie. She believes that Commander Ceil was the best commander."
"So you have meet my mother and meet my aunt," said Leila in a happy tone. Kira has a sweat drop.
"I have met Commander Prairie. It was her who helped me with the guardians business. I was her field worker of shooting and finding mavericks. However, the last thing I needed to hear was she is infected with the viroids," said Kira.
"Yeah I know. The viroids killed her, one of the Guardians rescued me and brought me here. Ever since I have been called Commander. I am feel like that I do not deserve it," said Leila.
"Well just think of this. You taking over your mother's job is a privilege. Something that is more of an honor," said Kira.
"Yeah I never thought of that. I make my mother proud then. Her and dad," said Leila.
"Commander Leila, we have big problems. The air supply here will be disconnected in 30 seconds," said Malady. Leila looked at Malady and the rest of the group.
"Check who is-" said Commander Leila who is interrupted by another worker as he ran behind Malady.
"Even worse news. Viroids are here in this facility. I checked the systems and found out that Master Shift is here," said the worker who is wearing green and red.
"That is not good. We have to megamerge if we wanted to breathe," said Jean. Commander Leila looked at Jean, Arwen, and Rondae.
"Do it fast and head out of the base and I give further instructions to the three of you," said the commander.
"We are coming as well," said Priestess as she is standing next to Rondae. Terra looked at Priestess.
"I am going to be left behind like what both of you planned before," said Terra. Priestess looked at Terra.
"No you are going to stay with Arwen," said Priestess. The three human nodded and pulled their biometals out.
"MEGA SYSTEM ONLINE! MODEL X. MEGAMERGE!!" shouted Jean as she has Model X armor on.
"MEGA SYSTEM ONLINE! MODEL Z! MEGAMERGE!!" shouted Rondae as he has Model Z armor on.
"MEGA SYSTEM ONLINE! MODEL A! MEGAMERGE!!" shouted Arwen as she has Model A armor on. The people of the resistance looked at Arwen. Most were whispering of her defeated Ghost. Commander Leila looked at Arwen in shocked.
"Eh-heh.. Yeah I take it this is the first time anyone knows about this armor," said Arwen.
"You are the transforming Megaman, Model A. You are a Chosen One. The one that Master Shift never got his hands on," said Commander Leila.
"Wait if he never had his hands on that biometal does that means she has an edge?" asked Terra.
"No it does not. Knowing that there were hidden surveillance camera, Master Shift will know about you two here and I have to be on a low profile," said Malady.
"Malady are you with your superstition. It does not work," said a reploid next to Malady.
"Don't be fooled by appearances. There many stories that are hidden from the eye that only few people can pick up," said Priestess.
"What is this an Earth philosophy?" asked the reploid next to Malady. Priestess smiled.
"No it is a magician's trick. I know a thing or two about it," said Priestess. Malady smiled.
"Ok so what if there is those cameras who can be out in the meantime?" asked Terra.
"Jean and I will go one way. Then Rondae and Kira will go another way. Once he is distracted, both of you can confront him," said Priestess.
"If it is the same jerk 200 years ago then we might say he knows about our problem Priestess. If not, then we are safe," said Terra.
"Do not worry. As long as we are not together then that problem won't happen," said Priestess. Rondae and Jean had moved out. Priestess and Kira also left. Commander Leila looked at the monitor.
"Commander the air supply is gone. The canon is repaired. Now it is charged 50," said another reploid.
"Try to hack on the systems. Malady we might need you to reprogram that Canon to over heat or disable it," said Commander Leila.
"We escort you," said Terra and Arwen in unison. Malady got her supplies and the three went out.
"We can be a diversion for the canon's destruction but we have to be careful not to get exposed or he will come after us and Kira will get pissed not to mention Priestess," said Arwen.
"He must know we are around or on our way. If that is true then we will expect a trap. We have to warn the other two," said Terra.
"I already done it," said Malady, "My radio waves can pick up objects within this space colony. Unfortunately, outside will be a different story."
"That is good enough now lets get to the canon and shut it off," said Terra. Arwen knew something bad is going to happen.
"Tell Jean and Priestess that there will be many traps. Getting to Master Shift will be a problematic. Especially when he can used the viroids against us," said Arwen.
"Actually, she knows about it and knows how to control it when she gets here but she was hoping to let Jean and Rondae to use it to their advantage," said Terra.
"Then we might as well just worried about that canon then," said Arwen. Malady smiled as the group is now heading to what is the face of danger.
