Chapter 14: Cranial Last Stand
Kira rushed at the doors and Castro moved out of the way of the mad woman that had entered with a sword.
"The Daughter of Zero. Nice to meet you again. If I haven't receive any more scars from your party the last time we have met then I would not been here standing right now would I?" said Cranial Shift.
"YOU!! YOU HAVE DONE SO MANY DAMAGE AND KILL SO MANY PEOPLE NOW YOU ARE GOING TO PAY!!" roared Kira as Cranial Shift smiled wide.
"Is that the virus talking or you?" asked Cranial Shift. Kira has a red aura as it shown that it was more of the virus working. Cranial Shift saw a bunch of pieces falling off of her. Cranial Shift knows that those pieces are one thing and one thing only, his viroids.
"So CROSHA has developed something to go against the virus. Using an old program virus that is gone. What now you are going to affect me?" asked Cranial Shift. Kira has a smile and went on heading towards Cranial Shift full force not looking back and not caring who stands in her way. Kira use her saber and rushed at Cranial Shift. The impact almost knock him out of balance. Kira hold her sword and smile wide as she is a demon of some sort wanting to kill him.
"I guess it is true. You can be powerful than Zero but that does not means that you are him," said Cranial Shift.
"When I get done with you. I make you pay for that remark," growled Kira as she went head on attacking. Meanwhile… Malady manage to hack the systems and the sentry bots are reducing in numbers than the viroids. Terra has a sinister smile and kept on attacking like if she is a grim reaper of some sort loving her job.
"Ok I have the computer," said Malady as she was ready to say the next step as she finds out her computer is being hacked.
"Oh no shit, I am spotted," said Malady as she revert several things and hoping to do damage to her hacker.
"Did you hack the canon?" asked Arwen as she looked at Malady as the viroids are coming in numbers.
"I almost did but I have been hacked as well. I need to revert the systems and relocate my IP hopefully that will help hopefully," said Malady, "If I can finish hacking the canon before it reaches 100 then I can get it to self destruct."
"Well do it," said Arwen. Malady type fast as she now look around and every inch of the room is covered in viroids and Terra is in a killing spree. Few more Sentry bots came as well and Arwen start taking care of them.
"Malady how much is the strength of the canon," said Arwen as she continues to shoot at the sentry bots.
"72 and rising. I am trying to do my best. And hack the systems of the canon but it will take even longer because of this hacker," said Malady.
"Ok just do it then," said Arwen. Terra kept on hacking and destroying the viroids and move fast. Meanwhile… Priestess manage to destroy all of the viroids but becomes extremely exhausted. Jean caught her.
"Priestess. It is ok. Let Rondae take care inside," said Jean. Priestess looked at them both.
"No. Kira has gone maverick. I need the rest of you two to get out of range. If anything, both of you help out Arwen," said Priestess.
"SHIT!! Too many sentry bots over coming me," said on the radio helmet of both Jean and Rondae.
"I think we better help her if those are too much for her to handle," said Jean. Rondae already left.
"Agh! I hate when he does not wait for me," said Jean as she took off as well. Priestess sighed as she heard a chuckle. Priestess follow the chuckle and saw someone on the computer hacking away.
"Can I ask what is so funny?" asked Priestess. Castro shoed Priestess out of his light.
"You are blocking my light. I need it to stop someone from hacking the systems," said Castro.
"Oh. What are they trying to hack?" asked Priestess innocently. Castro kept on typing on his computer.
"They are trying to hack the canon but I am going to stop them. I am going to make THEM pay," said Castro.
"Who?" asked Priestess. Castro did not like that question as he continues typing and smiled.
"Those pathetic reploids who loved humans. It was a human who almost retire me. So I am going to retire them all," said Castro.
"But not all humans are evil. Sure there is some but it is also the same for reploids," said Priestess.
"Hah! Tell to someone that cares," said Castro. Priestess sighed. Meanwhile… Kira manage to do more damage to Cranial as he now took heavily damage.
"Aww… boo hoo. I guess I have to cure you then kill you," said Cranial Shift as he launch an attack with his multi attack. Kira dodged out of the way. Kira did something that she did not do at all. She manage to bring three shockwaves in a form of a Z and triple slice him at the opportunity of him trying to dodge that attack. Cranial Shift got hit hard. Kira manage to dismantle him bit by bit. Cranial Shift lost a lot of artificial blood as well as seeing his parts ripped apart. He smiled.
"Hehehe… You may have destroyed this body but you haven't destroyed me. And I guess the apple does not fall far from the tree," said the voice. Kira heard that voice and moved back.
"I must admire you Kira. The first to unlock the virus in its full potential," it said. Kira now has a fear look in her face.
"I may have fought your father million of times but he never really gave the virus a chance to grow and unlock. Now since you completed that part of the phase I can take," said the voice as a shockwave was thrown at the shadow as it shows a figure of what looked like a bald man. Kira growled.
"You just waited for someone to get used. Didn't you," said Kira. The bald guy laughed.
"I just have been in the moon waiting to be resurrected. Cranial Shift have almost completed my body with the help of his friend. However, you are a toy like how your father was," said the voice.
"Curse you to hell!!" shouted Kira as she tried to attack him. The bald guy laugh even more.
"Well I did not thought his daughter has more fight and anger more than him," said the bald guy.
"Curse you, SIGMA!!" shouted Kira as she again tries to attack him. Sigma laughs at Kira.
"Well Since this space colony is not affected and has 6 anti virus program that can detect me and kill me. I better be ba-" said Sigma as the virus destroyed. The intercom finish his sentence for her.
"back to the moon. I will soon meet you again. Daughter of Zero," said Sigma as his laughter echoes the area. Meanwhile… Terra has shred every last viroid that was in that room. Jean, Rondae, and Arwen had manage to hold out as Terra went on a killing spree on the sentry bots. Few minutes passed Malady manage to hack more on the canon as she reads 99.
"Damn that hacker really wants to kill us," said Malady. Malady saw it now the canon will be completed.
"Sorry but I can't stop the canon. We only have few minutes until the canon will destroy Earth," said Malady. Terra rushed towards the canon still in her killing spree mode. She went to the canon and burst it out turning it into flames as it was being malfunction.
"Again? Oh well we better move again," said Malady as Arwen, Jean, and Rondae start leaving the area. Terra was not finished. She did more damage to the canon making it overload on her. Meanwhile…. Castro eyes wide as he tries to use his programming skills to protect the canon but it was all in vain. He saw within the surveillance camera that Terra tore up the canon into bits as the shockwave of the canon went to the room destroying it.
"No," said Castro. Priestess turned toward him as she looked at his frustration. Castro type again.
"NO! NO! NO! HOW DO THAT BLACK ARMOR EXCUSE OF A REPLOID MANAGE TO DESTROY THAT CANON! THAT CANON IS MASTER GHOST AND MASTER SHIFT'S PRIZE AND JOY. HOW DO THEY MANAGE TO GET RID OF MY CHANCE OF VENGEANCE!" shouted Castro.
"Because vengeance is not the way. You should not punish everyone because you are treated horrible," said Priestess. Castro turns and saw Priestess right next to him. His eyes fixed on hers and he now has fear. Castro start take off running as Priestess went after him.
"Hey come back do not go in there," said Priestess as it was too late. The room he has been is an electromagnetic field that Priestess created to destroy the viroids. Castro got caught on it and explode. Priestess felt helpless for that guy.
"Priestess this is Jean. Find Kira and get out of there. The canon is going to be destroyed along with this place again," said Jean. Priestess nodded and raced to the next room. Kira still has the red aura as she is being controlled by the virus. Priestess barrier Kira and touch her own barrier to suppressed the virus. Priestess then teleported to the base where Commander Leila is at. Terra had Arwen, Malady, Rondae, and Jean. Terra had her eyes shut and told people not to mess with her in the meantime. As the group from the resistance base checked the air supply and it went back on.
"Commander Leila the air is back on," said one of the navigators. Arwen, Jean, and Rondae got out of their armor and fainted.
