Chapter 15: Sigma's Rebirth??
"Well that is swell," said Guess as he watched Orbit Space colony's canon destroyed. He stood on the Earth's moon everything looked like a desert to him with the exception of the building that leads to a highway that used to go down on Earth.
"Human's tried to find their history back and believe it or not this used to be part of their history as well as the reploids," said Guess. He started to frown as he looked again at Orbital Space colony and Earth.
"Well the planet is not a bad place just too many humans and many stereotypes. Cranial Shift and Ghost have lost to those who want to save the planet. Oh well," said Guess, "They never told me what they were doing up here and neither of them included me. I do all the negotiations to keep peace and in terms with everyone else."
"Yet you are perfect for helping me out," said the voice. Guess turned around and tried to find who is there. He frowned again when he see no body as the computers turned on by themselves, he saw a bald guy with the red gem and blue eyes on the screen.
"Who are you?" asked Guess as he now looked scared. The bald guy smiled and looked at his prey.
"I am Sigma. Those two were supposed to help me creating a body however it is incomplete. However, if you can complete it for me I will leave you alone with the so-called colony of yours but there is a catch," said Sigma. Guess take two steps back as he is planning to run for it.
"W-what is th-the c-c-catch?" stuttering Guess. Sigma smiled evilly and several of the virus started to infect Guess as Guess did not have time to run away. In few minutes, Guess now is controlled by Sigma.
"Hehehehe…. Zero your daughter will be under my control sooner or later. Surprised she know my name but she now have the full potential of going maverick. Something you tried not to," said Sigma. Meanwhile… Terra sat down near the bed of Kira in the Orbit Space Colony. Commander Leila knocked on the door as Terra let her in.
"I know we all have met just recently but I would like to know something," said Commander Leila.
"Do not worry you can speak to us about anything," said Terra. Commander Leila has a serious look on her.
"My mother. Commander Prairie. How she was like when she commanded," said Leila.
"Well your mother was strict. She has two sides. Her working side and recreational side. Her working side she is strict and would tell people every Maverick Outbreak and movement. We normally find them and soon she would have people investigate it thorough. Her goal is to find the outbreak before it happens. And when it happens well we got to suppressed it. Reploids were not the only people who helped her. Back then I was a human. A human with ambition. I was part of her guardian team and hoping that I will do a difference than what happen to me in the past. She understands my pain and let me in," said Terra.
"So my mother is a good commander but-" said Leila as she feels she won't live up to her.
"She never think she is. Before her when the guardians were still called resistance they were under a human rule by the name of Commander Ceil. Commander Prairie always thought that she will never live up to her. However, she never think she can make it. All she did it try and do her best," said Terra.
"I see instead of worrying I will not live to the expectations. I should just do my best and try my hardest to keep everything working," said Commander Leila.
"That is right. If you can put your mind to it you can do anything. Your mom did loved someone before your father. She used to love one of the guardians name Vent. Vent, like what happen to Ashe, was forced to leave their lives behind and whoever they loved. Vent had fallen in love again but this time with a human. However, his sister Aile stood behind with Prairie telling her about Girouette. Prairie had missed him and from what Aile says it makes her wonder if he ever had feelings for her. As time passes, Aile fell in love with another person and married. Commander Prairie felt devastated that Aile continue on. The thing she did is kept the memories of everyone," said Terra, "Even of your father."
"I guess so. Well mom must be proud of him if she created me as well as my father," said Commander Leila. Terra smiled.
"Well if you think of it that way yes they both were proud to have you around their life," said Terra. Then there was a knock on the door. Terra sighed as she opened the door. Malady came rushing out and went to Commander Leila.
"Commander. I have a report to give to you. IT is urgent you read it," said Malady. Commander Leila sighed and took the report. Leila read the report and looked at it in shock.
"How long did this virus infect both Ghost and Cranial Shift," said the now worried commander.
"It was several years but we cannot pinpoint the exact date. For all we know that they can be infected more than 50 years," said Malady.
"Can our anti-virus programs and vaccines will stop this virus that is inside of them," said Commander Leila.
"Yes it can. It did not evolved like Kira's virus. However, this virus wants to use her evolution virus to keep on going," said Malady.
"There is a cure for her. I know one of the capsules that can make it for her. Unfortunately, she is one of the taken ones," said Terra.
"Though we wanted her to be on earth where Space Colonies won't be affected and the reploids who are on Earth are actually in hiding. I can keep her out in the open," said Priestess as she walked in.
"Speaking of which, we did agree not to be near each other until we find out who is this Shadow Devil is. And I might just be confined because of the fact that I can kill at any time. Even worse than Kira," said Terra.
"We all saw it through the surveillance and yes both you and Kira needs to be watched," said Priestess. Holographic image showed up and it was Sigma. Priestess stand up and looked at the hologram bald guy.
"Who the hell are you?" asked Terra as she did not like something like this happening.
"Hehehehe I am Sigma. I have a message to give to the Daughter of Zero," said Sigma.
"Go on we can give it to her after she wakes up," said Terra as she is not happy intruders coming in.
"Tell her to come so I can re-fix a mistake that I have. She can be back and-" said Sigma.
"She will not agree to that. Something tells me that you are what the cause of many wars in the past. And it deals with her father," said Priestess.
"Hehehehe. You are a clever girl however give her the message that she will out due her father and will become with the virus that her father really fears and hates," said Sigma. Terra looked at Sigma pissed.
"You coward you are trying to use her as a puppet of your soon to be new war," said Terra.
"Hehehehe New war. Once I have my new body completed fully you and the rest of Earth and colonies are going to subdue to me," said Sigma. Terra started to glow as she is mad.
"You do not know what the people around are capable of. And you do not know that the enemies of your past may become stronger than before. These people are not going to go down without a fight," said Priestess.
"Very confident you are but we will see. I will give you all six more years. I will decided that fate to all of you," said Sigma as he end his transmission. Terra had her scythe ready as she got stopped by Priestess barrier.
"So he wanted to start his war again. Commander Leila. I think it would be wise to watch the moon's activity for a long while. If something out of the ordinary shows up that it should not be there," said Priestess.
"I am going to do so. If any of the colonies that have these capsules you said that was stolen from earth I will try to convince them to-" said Commander.
"Tell them to be prepared to open them when the time comes. Though two of the capsules will be human so they must know that those humans will need oxygen," said Priestess.
"Yes I know but what are all of you going to do in the meantime," said Commander Leila.
"Well I am going to be a police squad on earth making sure that the moon won't target there," said Terra.
"Kira will do the transporting like she had been doing," said Priestess. Terra looked at Kira.
"Well then she can keep that place open then for us," said Rondae as he again stand near by the door.
"What do you mean by that?" asked Terra in questioning at Rondae the only dark skinned humanoid that is in front of her.
"I mean that Jean and I are going to be transporters in several space colonies that do not have them. We are going to spread the business as much as we can," said Rondae.
"Giro Express is expanding too much," said Commander Leila. Rondae smiled at Commander Leila.
"Hey Malady is still transporting stuff you Orbit Space Colony," said Rondae. Commander gave a glare at Rondae then smiled.
"Yes you are right but still. My father did not want it to grow too much he did not left the business to both you and Jean for nothing," said Commander Leila.
"Do not worry we will handle everything," said Rondae. Kira finally woken up as she heard this.
"Well if all of you promised to keep in touch with me then I will help out," said Kira. Rondae smiled.
"Yes we will. And for your cousin I think she is going to do something else," said Rondae.
"I am going to be a space hunter. Anything artifact from the past will help. My ancestor did do that for a living so I am going to keep that up," said Arwen. Everyone laughed. Couple of hours later everyone said good-byes and went on their way.
"Soon I will conquer everything," said Sigma as he is waiting for six years.
