Chapter 2. In which Bella visits Jacob

Jacob POV

I was working on a car engine when I heard the door to my shed softly open and close with my were-wolf hearing. I thought it was Sam or Billy but it couldn't be Billy because there's no wheel chair access and It won't be Sam because he knows that I'm pissed off at him. I decided to ignore it.

I felt a small but Hot hand on my back and I immediately thought it was Leah. Until "Hey Jake" said a voice. It surprised me to hear Bella's voice when it wasn't in my head. I jumped and hit my head on the bonnet of the car that I had been working on. I looked up and I couldn't believe my eyes "Bella?" I asked. She let out a small laugh "hey Jake" she said with a small smile.

"Hey Bells" I said getting up "I haven't seen you in ages. What brings you here?" I gave her a hug.

When I hugged her I noticed three things. One she was stronger than before, Two she was almost as hot as me which could not be good for her health and three she was scared, well pretty much terrified and I immediately knew something was wrong.

"What's wrong Bella?" I asked her as I pulled away and put my hands on her shoulders to stop her from running even thou I knew that she wasn't going anywhere fast. She took one of my hands from her shoulder and started playing with my fingers looking everywhere but my face. "I think we need to talk Jake" she whispered.

"Okay" I said "Then lets go inside" I went to walk past her to the door put she put her hands on my chest and said rather forcefully "Not in front of Billy"
