The gangs are over and Rusty-James wishes they weren't. So he finds it's an exciting, good thing to hear that Ponyboy Curtis — one of the most important, legendary, toughest greasers to ever exist — is bringing them back.

Ponyboy is sick and he dreams of many things: Johnny Cade's corpse, a man with red hair, a woman dressed in green. All the while, his father sits at his side.
