Jackson was tossing and turning in his bed. How long had he been trying to go to sleep? He rolled over and looked at the clock on his nightstand.
1:32 AM. Great, I've been up for 3 and a half hours and I wake up in another 4 and a half.
He couldn't figure it out. He'd slept fine before spring break. But for the past two nights he wouldn't get to sleep until about four in the morning when his body couldn't handle staying awake any longer.
When will this end?
He suddenly noticed his sleeping bag sitting in the corner of his room. He hadn't put it away yet since being rescued.
Maybe if I… nah, I hated sleeping on that thing.
He rolled back over and tried to go to sleep again. About twenty endless minutes later he got up out of bed.
Ok, I'm desperate now.
He grabbed his sleeping bag and unrolled it onto the floor next to his bed. He threw his pillow on the floor and got.
For some reason, laying on the hard ground in his sleeping bag he felt comfortable, like this was how he was supposed to sleep. He closed his eyes and the next thing he knew, his alarm clock was blaring. He quickly unzipped himself out and shut it off. He was surprised to find himself well-rested.
I guess camping for a month leaves a mark.
A/N- Sorry for taking so long to update this!! I had it all planned out, but I wrote it too briefly to remember what I was doing for each chapter!! I managed to remember this part though, from an interview with a person who was on Survivor and had this situation. Reviews are greatly appreciated!!
