A/N- Hey! Another chapter! This one is from Nico's POV! I'm going to switch off POV's at each story to make it a little more interesting. So, read and REVIEW!!
Before the attack in the alley, Bianca and I got into something else. We had just escaped, again, from our current school, and were walking on a hot summer day through the streets of Chicago. I was hot, and sweaty. So was Bianca. We were both tired, and our feet hurt.
"Bianca...can we please take a break, just for awhile!" I whined.
"C'mon, Nico! It's only ten more blocks to the Metra Station! You can make it at least that far!" She said. We both looked pretty normal this time. I was wearing ripped shorts and a gray T-shirt, and Bianca was wearing a skirt, and tank top. She was also wearing that stupid green hat of hers. Sighing, I kept on. The sidewalk edged along tall building that seemed to go forever. Cars and taxis and buses roared on the streets, emitting a putrid smell. Now, this time, me and Bianca were more prepared. We had about 50 dollars, and my Mythomagic game cards and figurines. All of that was packed into a tiny knapsack that was slung across Bianca's shoulder.
"Bianca, I'm thirsty!" I complained. Bianca took of her green hat and wiped her forehead.
"Not now Nico! Lets keep moving!" As we walked along the sidewalk, I spotted a black bench with a sign on it that said "YOUR ADD ON THIS BENCH!" in big red letters. Excited, I tugged at Bianca's shirt.
"Bianca! Can we please sit on that bench!" I pleaded. My feet felt as if they were gonna fall off anytime soon. Bianca seemed to agree with me.
"Fine, but we keep going after that!" Obviously, the heat was getting to her. Shrugging her temper off, I ran to sit on the bench. My feet seemed to thank me for letting them rest. I looked over at Bianca, who was staring blankly into the street, watching as the array of vehicles drove by. Looking around, I noticed a huge bunch of people crowding around a blue sign. a woman with a neon orange vest on. She was a little chubby, and her pants looked tight. The woman kept staring at us. Soon she inched her way over to the bench we were at.
"Hey," she half said, half screamed, "Are you kids going on a bus?"
"Where does it go?" Bianca asked. I could tell she was trying to act mature. I hated when she did that.
"Well, the next bus goes to the train station, and the bus after that goes to the pier!"
"When does this come?"
"In a few minutes!"
After a conversation with the lady, Bianca decided we were going to take the bus to the Metra Station. I agreed with her. I didn't want to walk another step. We waited for the big blue and white bus to stop at the corner.
"C'mon, Nico! Lets go!" Bianca yelled for me as she started to walk on the bus. Little had I noticed, Bianca was ahead of of me, and getting on the bus. pushing through the crowd of people, I hopped onto the bus trying to find her. The bus was crowded with people.
"Nico!" I heard Bianca yell from the back of the bus. Carefully, I pushed through the skinny aisle on the bus, until I found Bianca sitting in a seat next to the window.
"Aw! I want the window seat!" I complained.
"Ugh! Nico just get in!" I quickly shuffled into the seat lining the aisle.
"Well, someone seems to be in a bad mood today!" I taunted. But Bianca just turned away and looked out the window. Suddenly, the bus jolted away from the curb and road off into the street. Inside the bus, it was nice and cool, but still very crowded. We drove for about five blocks, then the bus came to a halt.
"Bianca, is this the station?" I asked.
"No, Nico, it isn't." I noticed that most of the people, if not all of the people, were getting off the bus.
"Bianca, something is very strange..." I said. I don't what it was, but something felt wrong. Shrugging it off, I grabbed my Mythomagic cards out of the knapsack. Shuffling through the pile, I came across my Ares card. He was my favorite. He had the most attack points 'cause he was the stronger one. The one I hated the most was Aphrodite. She didn't even have over a hundred hit points! I had thought about trading her for the figure that I didn't have, but nobody I ever met played the game. Looking over my cards, I realized we were the only ones on the bus. We were driving a little ways past the Metra Station. Wait! We just past the station!
"Bianca! Bianca!" I shook her.
"What? What is-" the bus suddenly came to a stop under a passover. Looking over my seat, I realized something horrifying. The driver had horns! No, not a horn like on a bus, but rams horns that were sticking out of his head! Two big ones!
"Ni-Nico, we need to get out of here, now!" Bianca warned me, shoving me out into the aisle. Suddenly, the driver whipped his head around and stared us. His red eyes searing into mine.
"RAAARR!" The ram-like thing bellowed. He got out of his seat and dashed toward me.
"Bianca! Help!" I screeched. I could feel the thumping of the feet coming at me, my heart was pounding. Bianca ran passed me, grabbed my arm, and yanked me up.
"Nico, run!" She shouted. Fear and astonishment engulfed me, but I soon managed to get up and run for the back door. Shoving the back door open, Bianca dashed out, with me following her. We ran out into the street, with the weird ram thing following us. It was catching up fast. My mind was racing. What was this thing doing? With the knapsack swinging from her shoulder, Bianca ran off to the sidewalk. We were only a few seconds away from the station.
"Nico! Hurry up!" She yelled. We soon came up to the station and burst through the sliding doors. The thing seemed to still be chasing us. Me and Bianca ran through that train station as fast as we could. Finally, we entered the train terminals.
"Which one?" I yelled frantically, as we ran into terminal four.
"Here," Bianca said, running for a random train, "This one!"

So, we ended up taking a train down to some other town. Bianca and I had bought tickets to ride the train down to the last stop. We slept on the way to the stop, and once we got there, we ate snacks from the vending machine.
"So, that was creepy, right?" I asked Bianca. She just blew me off.
"Nico, I'm sure we just over-reacted. I mean, what kind of person looks like that. We were obviously just imagining things." She sounded so sure of herself at the moment, but I didn't take that for an answer.
"But Bianca, they were real live ram horns!"
"Shut up, Nico! They weren't real and you know it! Quit saying that!" At that time, I didn't feel like bickering.
