A/N- Hello, fellow readers! This is my favorite ( and maybe the longest) one so far. It is from Nico's pov! So please, read and REVIEW!! Enjoy! Disclaimer- I own everything here, except for Bianca and Nico.
Okay, so I guess you already know that Bianca can be bossy sometimes. But honestly I don't blame her. When she is in her "bossy" state, she usually has a good reason. For example, I remember this one night, in our current orphanage.
The Morgan B. Children's Home was where we were staying at a time. It was a small orphanage, and it housed about 12 boys and 15 girls. Bianca and I were one of them. We had been staying there for about a week when the incident happened. All the children were shuffling out of the dining hall and into their designated bunk room. Girls were separated from boys, so Bianca wasn't in the same room as me. That didn't bother me much. We never really talked to each other, much less sat be each other at meals. Anyways, so I was with all the other boys, just chatting about random things that we could think of.
"Hey, Nico!" One of my friend Matthias called from his bunk. "You hear what happened to your sister?"
Everyone in the orphanage knew me and Bianca were brother and sister. If one of us did so much as skinned our knee, the other one would know about it in a heartbeat.
"What?" I answered back tiredly. I was already underneath my bedsheets, reading a book. I sat up so I could hear what Matthias had to say. Matthias was the bunk across from mine.
"She got sick! Up-chucked right in the girls bunkroom. 'Heard Yolanda got all mad at her for messin' up her bed." Yolanda was the girl in the bunk next to her.
"Where is she now?" I asked. Matthias hopped out of his bed and walked across the room to mine.
"Well, she's in Ms. McPhearson's room now, I guess." He shrugged. Ms. McPhearson was the strict nurse. She was great when it came to nose bleeds, and colds, but other then that, she hated kids.
"Can I go see her?" I asked.
Matthias ran his fingers through his curly brown hair. "Well, if you want to. I'm just warnin' you, McPhearson don't like visitors."
"I don't care. Besides, she's my sister, she'll understand."
"Whatever."

I walked out of the boys bunkroom, and through the rec room, into the side door marked with a faded red "X." I creaked open the door, into a small room, with marked up white walls, with two hanging light bulbs on the ceiling. There was a small desk in the far corner, and on the left was a network of cabinets and drawers filled with medications and a large variety of band-aids. on the other side of the room was a door that lead to a bathroom, and two cots. On one of the cots was indeed Bianca.
Her face was pale, her arms were shivering, and when it came to health conditions-she looked horrible. Ms. McPhearson was standing over Bianca, with a thin clear tube that she slowly maneuvered under her tongue.
"Um...hello?" I mumbled. Ms. McPhearson angled her head to the side, not looking away from Bianca.
"I'm with a patient, can't you see that! Go outside my room until I call you in!" She snapped. She then pulled the clear tube out of Bianca's mouth and examined it. Looking away, Bianca opened her mouth to speak.
"Um...it-it's okay...he-he's my b-brother." Her voice quavered, and she looked like she was about to throw up again.
Ms. McPhearson sighed. She then put down the clear tube, and scribbled something on a piece of paper. The nurse then went to one of the drawers and retrieved a rag. She handed it to me.
"Go soak this with cold water, boy. You hear me? Cold water."
I nodded and walked to the bathroom sink and flipped on the cold water. I let the rag run under the water for a bit, then I wrung it out and brought it back to Ms. McPhearson.
"Thanks." She said tartly. The nurse then walked over to Bianca and laid the wet rag on her forehead and ordered her to lay down. Bianca let out a moan as she rested her head on the end of the cot.
"I-I'm f-fine..."
"I'm sure you are." Ms. McPhearson answered back, unconvinced. She then turned to me. "Shouldn't you be gettin' back to your bunk, boy? I've got my own work to own work to do here!" I was about to answer, but Bianca chimed in.
"Ms. McPhearson? C-can I sp-speak to Nico f-for a m-moment?" She stuttered. Ms. McPhearson turned to Bianca, her eyes turned from alert, to soft when she looked at her.
"Well, I suppose. But only while I'm gone. You need some extra blankets, some fluids, and a bowl of soup. I'll tell the cook right away." She then bustled out of the room, not forgetting to give a "don't cause any trouble" glare before she left. When we were finally alone, I kneeled down by Bianca's bed.
"Are you okay?" I asked, concerned.
"Nico, I'm not sick..." she muttered. I rolled my eyes. She always tried to act tough sometimes, but with her current condition, I could tell she was lying.
"Please, Bianca, don't be silly." I said. She just shook her head, nervously.
"No! No, you don't g-get it! It-it's Ms. Morgan! Her-she-um..." Bianca immediatley sat up, and peeled the wet paper towel off her head. She stared me right in the eye and started spilling out her story.
"I was talking to Yolanda. I was standing over her bed, facing the door, where Ms. Morgan was supervising. While I was talking to her, out of the corner of my eye, I could see Ms. Morgan. Her eyes-I stared right into them. They were glowing. Glowing, Nico! Like a cat! That's when, right out of nowhere, I started to throw up. Of course, Yolanda got mad at me for getting it all over her bed, but the others crowded around me. I didn't see Ms. Morgan anywhere. Next thing I knew, I was here, shivering cold, but burning hot at the same time. But I felt fine like a few minutes ago! I swear! I-I-I..."
Bianca started to breath short, and tears started to form around her eyes. I stood up and put my hands on her shoulders.
"Bianca! Please don't go ballistic on me! Calm down!" I pleaded. Just then, Ms. McPhearson came in. Seeing Bianca's current state, she poured some reddish liquid down Bianca's throat and ordered me back to my bunk.

Next morning, at breakfast, the kids in the home kept talking about what rumors they had heard about my sister.
"Nico, I heard she's gone crazy!" Matthias said. A kid behind him named Rupert chimed in.
"Yeah, I heard that they are gonna' put 'er in a crazy house!" He commented. Yolanda, stared over at us, and began to talk like she knew everything.
"Well, I think she is really crazy. She like, threw up on my bed and she didn't even move! Then she fainted."
"She mumbled when she was unconscious." A quiet girl named Rosie piped up. Next thing I knew, the whole orphanage was talking about it. I had enough. Finally, I stood up and banged the table.
"Enough!" I shouted. I must've made a big impression on them, because they all shut up. I wanted to say more, but then, I caught a glance from Ms. Morgan. To my disbelief, her eyes glowed. They glowed like a cat in the dark, just as Bianca had said. I looked away quickly. Then, I dashed out of the room, and practically flew into the nurse's office. Ms. McPhearson wasn't present, but Bianca was. She was sitting up, pale as ever.
"N-Nico... do you believe me now?" She mumbled.
"Yes. What should we do?"
"We need to get out of here. Now." Her eyes suddenly turned dark, and her color started to come back. She whipped the blanket off of her, and grabbed my shoulder. "Let's Go!" Despite the change of mood, I was happy to see her up and ready to move.
"Bianca! The window!" I said. Bianca ran to the window, and creaked it all the way open, and popped out the screen with her fist. The orphanage was all one one level, so we didn't need to worry about jumping.
Just then, I could here the door slam open.
"Nico, out, NOW!" She shouted. Without thinking, I scrambled out the window and onto the ground, outside. From inside I could hear footsteps coming towards the office. Bianca quickly hauled herself out the window and grabbed my hand. She jolted me away from the building. From the window, I could see her. She had fangs. Large, sharp fangs. Her eyes glowed. Her nails were black.
"B-Bianca!" I said, almost speechless. We had dashed out of the premises of the orphanage. Bianca came to a halt, to board a bus. Luckily, it had just pulled up to the stop. The door to the bus creacked open.
"Hurry up!" She yelled at me to get on the bus.
Before I knew it, we were sitting on the bus, rolling away from Morgan B. Orphanage forever.

A day or so later, we saw a newspaper with our faces on it. The story claimed that we both had gone ballistic and fled the orphanage. The paper said that if we were found, we were to be sent to an institutional center. I didn't know what that was, but from Bianca's reaction, it was pretty bad. Then, I got scared. That's when Bianca decided we had to leave right away.
