A/N- This one is in Bianca's POV. There is another note at the bottom too- so R&R!!

Why are girls always the victims in these kinds of things? Seriously! Is it like we don't look as tough as guys? I mean, us girls are strong! We have Rosa Parks, and Abigail Adams, and Britney Spears, and Lindsey Lohan, and...oh. But still! Us girls are wayunderestimated! Urgh!

Anyways, I will never visit the Grand Canyon again. Here's my story.

Nico and I, we were living with a few foster parents at the time, and they happened to adore nature. So they decide to haul us and about four other kids on a five hour road-trip to the Grand Canyon. Long story short, that was the longest car ride I have ever been in. But once we were there, I was glad.

As we stepped out of the minivan, all I could hear was my foster mom blubbering to her husband about the depth of the canyon, and my foster siblings' groans of complaint. I kept quiet amongst them, Nico at my side. It was a hot summer day, so everyone was dressed in shorts and t-shirts. I wore a pink tank top with blue shorts, and Nico sported a gray shirt and khaki pants.

The sky was a pale blue and was splattered with perfect white clouds around the gleaming sun that was currently pounding on my back. (I really should have brought sunscreen.)

"Bianca, it's hot." I heard Nico complain. I patted his head half-heartily.

"Trust me, I know." I assured him. Apparently my foster parents had told us to "go off on our own" at a point. So, here we were-walking around a huge mountain. Me and Nico stuck together, and sort of broke away from the group.

To my surprise, there was a lot of tourism today, as hot as it was. Looking at license plates, I saw cars from as far away as Canada. Wow.

"Bianca! Look at that mountain!" I was suddenly pulled out of my thoughts to Nico.

"Hmm, oh-yeah. They look pretty cool." I said to him. I was pretty out of it that day- didn't feel like interacting much. Then I got that feeling.

Nico grabbed my sleeve, and tugged me into the crowds of people gazing at over the canyon. If I was a little more awake, I may have been a bit more fascinated. But something didn't feel right. I got the feeling we were being stalked...like somebody was watching every move we made. I tuned out Nico's babbling, and darted my glance around. All I saw were eager tourists. My mind was a blur when I was being pulled along by Nico.

"Bianca, are you okay?" I heard him say after a period of time. I nodded.

"Um, yeah..." I could tell from Nico's face that he didn't believe me.

"Bianca, no your not. What's wrong?" He said, his voice almost pleading. I looked around the canyon again, still having that weird feeling. But now I felt like whoever was watching us was getting closer. I had to step back for a second to try to take in the canyon before remembering Nico still wanted an answer.

"No...it's...my head just hurts, thats all." I put my hand on his shoulder, mostly for balance, then began to walk. "Hey, what's this?" I tried to sound interested, for Nico's sake.

"What's what?" Nico asked, looking around until he finally saw what I had pointed to. "Wow," he exclaimed. "it's the...the...sky bridge!"

I nodded. That was exactly what it was. It was a long glass bridge that was suspended over the Grand Canyon. It looped from one point to another, letting tourists get on and off. It looked amazing just to look at it. It was beautiful.

"Bianca, what are you waiting for? Let's go!" Nico urged, pulling me again towards the bridge.

"Okay, wait up!" I shouted from behind. The hot sun kept beaming down on my back. I could already feel the sunburn.

I could still feel the eyes. I don't know if I was going all paranoid, but I was almost positive somebody was watching us. Watching every move we made.

It wasn't long before we were about to get on the sky bridge. I had to take a minute to take in the scenery. The mountains looked beautiful up-close where you could see almost every detail. The base of the bridge was clear, so you could see everything under you. For some reason, I found that to be more artistic than scary.

Timidly, I stepped onto the glass bridge, holding my breathe. "Whoah..." I caught my balance as I took a good look over the mountain. "Oh my gosh..."

"This is amazing..." I heard Nico say as he began to walk forward. Suddenly, I forgot that we were suspended over a canyon, and that if we fell, we would end up tumbling to our deaths. Not like that would happen right? I mean, everything goes wrong when we're around, right? Oh...maybe this wasn't such a good idea.

"Nico, let's go." I said, my breathe moving rapidly.

"Bianca! We haven't even made it halfway across the bridge!" He whined. I looked around, suddenly realizing that we were the only ones on the bridge. Weird.

"Okay, but hurry." I said, trying to urge him across the bridge.

"This is...so cool!" Nico said. "It's so high!" He then turned to me in a worried manner. "Bianca, who's that?" He said in a low voice.

I looked over to see a man dressed in black come from the other end of the bridge. It was weird. Who would wear all black (and I mean black hoodie, black sweats, black boots, and maybe even black face paint) on a day as hot as this one? I was suddenly uneasy. "I don't know." I whispered. "Let's go the other way."

I nudged Nico forward to the other end of the glass bridge, only to be confronted by another man dressed in black. Two people other than us were on the bridge. Both of them were dressed in the same outfit. Black.

"Let's just walk past them." Nico whispered.

"I don't know, that didn't exactly work last time." I mumbled, remembering the incident in the alley. "here, let's just pretend we're looking over the edge." I motioned for Nico to lean casually over the edge of the canyon. It suddenly seemed a little deeper, more dangerous. My head suddenly became light.

"Bianca, their coming closer." Nico whispered, as he stared down at the canyon. I didn't answer him, I didn't have time to. Before I even tried to open my mouth, I felt a rough hand on my shoulder.

"Not again!" I thought, as I froze in my spot. I squeezed my eyes shut, feeling the presence of someone else. The air smelt like dirty sock all of the sudden. Then I heard it speak. It spoke in a rough, tired sounding voice.

"Okay, we can do this the easy way or the hard way." It said. "Take your pick, di Angelo." My eyes were forced open, and I caught a blurry vision of the mountains. I could see the person in black.

"How do you know my name?" I asked the voice. It's hand was stilll on my shoulder, and I could feel the other person had Nico, too. I didn't get an answer. It just repeated itself.

"Take your pick, di Angelo." The hand squeezed my shoulder tighter. I winced in pain, but kept my persistence.

"How do you know my name!" I said. It was no longer a question, but an exclamation. I heard a deep, growling laugh.

"I see you've forced us into this, eh? You've obtained quite an obstinate mind for your age." He cackled again.

"I don't think that's much of a compliment." I muttered, but apparently he heard me. I felt my head fling forward, more off the edge of the bridge. "Ow."

"Bianca!" I heard Nico shout, and then more shuffling.

"Don't make us chose, di Angelo." The voice said again. I forced myself to look up.

"What do you mean chose?" I growled. The laughing continued, and I felt his grip get tighter.

"Take a deep breath." He said, almost enthusiastically. A creepy aura suddenly came across his mood. A scheming aura. There were a few seconds of silence. I was surprised Nico hadn't spoken up, or at least put up a fight. He would've been the first person on my list to stand a fight. Well, make it my only person. Anyways, I was trembling under his strong, painful grip.

"Πέτα τους πάνω!" He screamed, and I suddenly felt more pressure. Wait? What did he say? It didn't matter anyways.

I felt him pound one single foot on the glass bridge. That's when I heard a crack. Uh-oh. There was another cracking sound, and it soon felt like the bridge was breaking under me.

Suddenly, there was nothing under me.

GRAND CANYON SKY BRIDGE COLLAPSES
KILLS TWO UNIDENTIFIED INDIVIDUALS

GRAND CANYON- It has recently been reported the the popularly known sky bridge has collapsed, bringing four tourists down with it. Two have been presumed dead. The other two have been put into intensive care in the local hospital. This raises questions to some tourists. Is this grand bridge really safe? Should their be a capacity limit? "Then again," claims a viewer, who wishes to remain anonymous, "there were only four people on the bridge, and I think two of them were kids."

The lives of the other two victims still hangs in the balance. More on this later.

A/N-***The conclusion to this comes in the next chapter in Nico's POV.*** Please review! If you have any ideas, feel free to add that! And to add, I've never actually been to the Grand Canyon, but I've seen a bunch of pictures. Look up the sky bridge! It truely is amazing!
