Lila also had a bunch of different talents such as sports. And it was cool to know that Lila wasn't her actual name, it was Shadow.

Alex put down the folder and looked at Lila, or should he call her Shadow.

"What should I call you," Alex squeaked.

"I like the name Shadow better," Shadow responded with a hint of a smile.

After that they started becoming pretending to become better friends.

When they got to the airport Blunt was rushing them. They were about to be late for the plane. Shadow started running and Alex tried to keep up, but she was too fast.

"Slow down," He called.

"Not yet, we are almost there," Shadow responded.

"Okay," Alex replied. He really hated her but he couldn't show it. She was such a show off, even if she didn't mean to be. He wished another kid was coming on this mission with them. Shadow always tried to be funny, and it was. She laughed at all his jokes, but, Alex found out that when she was bored her eyes turn ice blue. He had seen her eyes flash between ice blue, midnight blue, her normal color, and green when she was empty, blank, without any emotion. Sometimes, but very rarely she had a flash of maple brown, her eyes when she was amused. She had laughed, almost cruelly, when Alex had tripped. She pretended to but nice but Alex could tell she hated him.

Finally they got to the plane. Alex and Shadow met Tamora Knight on the plane. Alex had been surprised. When Blunt said Knight Alex had passed it over like a low card in poker. He thought Knight was some random woman. Alex had been happy to see her. He had missed her. Alex had found out that on the island they would spying on General Fredrick, a rich military general. Fredrick was the owner of a well running family vacation place. Blunt had said something suspicious was going on at Fort Lalino, the family place. Alex and shadow where going to pose as a happy family.

How would that work? Alex had a slight crush on Tamora, the mom!
