Prologue
In ancient times, a group called the Wondrous Angels of Beings and Individuals are meeting together in a special headquarters as they discuss the upcoming final battle against Vor. The leader named Priestess Phoebe is a powerful magical priestess and a royal princess. She deeply ponders about things and the state of the headquarters. As she gains a vision, she sees a new group of people fighting against evil and a battle between three princesses and Vor set to take place in this very kingdom in the deep and Far Future. She frowns, as she knows that this is very bad.
An Avalor wizard named Alejandro looks at Priestess Phoebe, as he knows that something is seriously wrong. While holding a very special tambourita in his hands he asks, "Priestess Phoebe is something troubling you?"
Priestess Phoebe looks at the wizard, as she knows that he can notice those things and replies, "I have received a vision about the Far Future. It showed me that Vor would come back to the Ever Realm. In the final battle, it showed me three princesses and two of them are wearing the Amulets of Avalor, Alejandro."
This catches the attention of the others, stunned by this information. As they all want to know, an ancient sorcerer named Malachi asks Priestess Phoebe, "What, Vor will come back in the Far Future? What else did you see Priestess Phoebe?"
Priestess Phoebe looks at them as she sighs and begins to explain, "In my vision, I also saw a group of very special individuals and beings fighting against dark evils using our tools and weapons. It seems that they will be the next chosen ones to use them when the time is right. Also, a prophecy has been foretold of those events and the individuals and beings that talks about the good people that the tools and weapons has chosen."
Priestess Phoebe uses her magic to create a very special book that contains all sorts of prophecies. Then, she uses her powerful magic to determine whom the book will go to for use and figure out the meanings in the messages, a safe keeper guardian, and a Mystic Isle Guardian.
Partially entranced yet still among her peers, Priestess Phoebe continues, "The book says that the chosen one shall be a descendant of your bloodline Alejandro, but it is not fully clear about a couple of identities. It says that in the Far Future, a family traitor shall exist that shall threaten the family, Ever Realm, and Mystic Isles. It also says that an angelic name shall pay the ultimate price to save another angelic name. However, it is uncertain who is the one that dies and the one saved. However, it does say that a daughter of the saved angelic name will be the true chosen one of this book. However, the safe keeper guardian shall be the next chosen one of you wand Malachi. The Mystic Isles Guardian of the book will be the Windwalker with Rainbow Wings."
The group looks at each other as they learn about the book. Priestess Phoebe hands the book to Alejandro as it starts glowing in a bright yellow matching the yellow in his special tambourita. Malachi nods as he approached him and the book as it starts glowing a maroon color matching the wand along with the yellow. Everyone agrees that this is the best thing as it remains with Alejandro.
Another member of the assembly looks at Priestess Phoebe with concern and asks, "What about the other book, the Book of the Gatekeeper?" A royal king must know from Priestess Phoebe, as a special priestess is working on a second book that is identical to the Book of Prophecy. Priestess Phoebe looks at the smaller and weaker book and sees that it is not complete like the Book of Prophecy is.
With somber words, Priestess Phoebe addresses Fernando, "This book, it will need to be placed into safe keeping just like the Book of Prophecy within the same family. It will mean that someday, a member in your family line will have twins, Fernando."
Receiving the book from Priestess Phoebe, Fernando nods as he looks at it, knowing it is a great task. The rest of the assembly implicitly understands, knowing that the future is uncertain. Finding his voice, Fernando says, "I understand Priestess Phoebe."

As time goes by, the Wondrous Angels fight against Vor and her evil forces in the Ever Realm. One night, Priestess Phoebe is mediating and has another vision. She sees two individuals from the Far Future. One of them is a brave young woman with her magical power while the other one has royal lineage of her family. However, she also gains a vision where she sees herself taken captive by a traitor that desires all of her magical powers to gain the special book.
Fighting a racing heart, Priestess Phoebe summons her courage knowing she must act. Then she frowns, as she knows who the traitor is for they all see him as a friend and ally. She frowns again, as she knows what must happen. As she cast a very powerful spell on herself, she takes out most of her magical strength and all of her royal status. She sends it away to the right ones in the Far Future where it will be safe.
As Priestess Phoebe waits for the traitor, she sets up for a trap for the person. As she spots the woman heading towards her, she grimaces. The woman notices that Priestess Phoebe is tired and exhausted. Priestess Phoebe scowls as she glares at the woman while others arrive ready to defend her. With the sudden fury of a summer thunderstorm, the woman shrieks, "You! What did you do?"
With steady determination, Priestess Phoebe answered the traitor's question, "Making sure that my power is safe and protected from a traitor like you, Cynthia. You will never gain my power. You are hereby kicked out of the Wondrous Angels and you shall be brought to Justice in the Kingdom of Enchancia."
With due haste, Priestess Phoebe and the others apprehend the traitor named Cynthia with their powers using a variety of capture and seal spells to contain her. Cynthia panics and her heart races uncontrollably faster as the barrage of capture seal spells hit her.
In desperation, Cynthia cries, "What, no! This can't be happening!" Then fortifying her resolve, Cynthia sneered, "I will get that book one way or another! Who knows? Maybe I will have descendants in the Far Future who will target that chosen one!" Finally contained by the capture and seal spells, royal guards take Cynthia to the jail in the Kingdom of Enchancia.
The group sighs in relief by this, still reeling from the shock that Cynthia betrayed them. A younger member of the Wondrous Angels sees the staff that Cynthia once used and places it on the table. She asks, "Priestess Phoebe what should we do with this? The rules state if a Wondrous Angels' member is found guilty of treason, the tool shall become forbidden to use and drained of its power. Shall we follow protocol?"
Priestess Phoebe looks at the young Wondrous Angel member, as it needs to be done, and says, "You are correct Emily. This staff shall be forbidden to use. However, no matter what happens, my magic power has become weak by the actions that I just made. We all need to prepare ourselves for the final battle and for this place. I want this place to be protected and kept hidden. One day, an evil being will use a forbidden item, or perhaps an item that has not been declared forbidden but will be used against the royal family of Enchancia in the Far Future."
Feeling a sudden exhaustion, Priestess Phoebe sat down on a slim chair. She ran her fingers through her hair pulling it away from her face. She needs the assembly to see her face in order to appreciate fully her emotions and intent while explaining what she did before the traitor arrived. The brief respite regenerates her despite the burden of the tale.
The group gasps as they know what she did is for the greater good. They all nod in agreement, as they hid this place using their special tools and powers. Priestess Phoebe uses her powers and casts a powerful spell to declare the staff forbidden. Then she sent it to a place in the Mystic Isles where she hopes that no one will discover it and use again for evil purposes.
The group finds themselves in Enchancia as they see Priestess Phoebe completely exhausted from using too much of her power. The group nods in agreement, letting Priestess Phoebe rest for the time being. Powers and special tools provided bedding, allowing the priestess a proper respite.
As the time for the final battle against Vor neared, Priestess Phoebe awoke refreshed and led the group as she always did. As things got dire, Priestess Phoebe uses her final physical strength to push Vor out of the Ever Realm and into the Mystic Isles where the protectors use a spell to capture her spirit and place it in the locket. As the group catches Priestess Phoebe, they all agree that they must use theirs and Priestess Phoebe's magical strength to send their tools and weapons to various hidden places in the Ever Realm and in the Mystic Isles. In doing so, the group passed away as a great sacrifice to protect the Ever Realm.
An ancient Windwalker is astonished witnessing the spirits who fought protecting the Ever Realm, with Priestess Phoebe leading the way. She stands in awe as other ancient protectors arrive and finally says, "Their sacrifice to the Ever Realm will be written down in history and never forgotten."
Hence, it came to be that the ancient protectors agreed and wrote the glorious date of May 22 as the anniversary of the Wondrous Angels greatest sacrifice and victory. The waxing season of Gemini proves fortuitous guiding change and transformation, appropriate for these heroic ancient protectors.

Centuries later in the Ever Realm, a woman in her late thirties to early forties is in a world of trouble and hurt. Her body has various magical marks and other magical scars as if she has been through terrible things. She is face to face with her captors: four women, the Dark One, two evil spirits, and a Black Raven Bird. Her bright green eyes glare at them, as she knows what is about to happen to her; for she did witness them take a man's life. Like her, he has the same magical marks and scars that they put him through. As well, there is a strange mirror in front of her as she saw his spirit sent into it.
The Dark One gives a harsh glare towards the woman as he is holding a wand in his hands and demands, "Where are those special chosen ones? You know the chosen ones that have the Bond of the Sorcerer power! I know that you had those precious twins of yours. Where are they?" The Dark One must know about them.
The woman gives a harsh look to the captors, knowing they take great pleasure in her torments, and proudly declares, "I would rather come to an end in this painful passing than tell you who they are and where they are located. I refuse to betray them and others who I have never met before in the Ever Realm and in the Mystic Isles. You will be defeated one way or another Javier. It will be my twins that will destroy you."
The Dark One is furious with the woman as she did call him by his real first name, Javier. Eyes squinted, one hand balled into a fist, and another hand tightened its grasp on his wand so inflexibly that his knuckles turned white. Half shouting with uncontrolled spittle he hissed, "You are always the defiant one to call me by my real name. Your final suffering will be at hand!"
The Dark One and his minions used their magic to end the woman's life. The mirror glows as the woman's spirit enters it as her eternal prison. The group turns their victims' bodies to stone and the Black Raven Bird grins, savoring his witnessing of events. The Black Raven Bird asks, "What should we do in the meantime, oh Dark One? With that wretched woman gone, we don't know who it is that you are looking for."
The Dark One looks at the Black Raven Bird as he deeply ponders things and says, "I must return to the shadows and rest. I want you to keep an eye on this place for the time being Wormwood, and let Obereon, Triabon, and Renee know if any outsiders somehow discover this cave, thus compromising it. When that day comes, we need to take this mirror and table to the next location for our uses."
Wormwood the Black Raven Bird nods, as he understands the orders about things, and says "Understood Dark One, although who will be the last one to be sent to the mirror as a punishment before it gets moved to the new location?"
One of the women who are with them has a smirk on her face as she has an idea. A blonde haired queen named Gloria decides to answer the question posed by the Black Raven Bird. Barely containing her excitement she loudly affirms, "I know just the person and let's just say that spineless sorcerer that you know has no idea that he has a son of his own. It just depends on what the son does and when he does it."
Wormwood is stunned, as he did not know that a particular sorcerer has a son out there. Trying not to fumble his words, he asks, "Really? A son? How did that spineless sorcerer get so lucky with a woman, Queen Gloria?"
Queen Gloria gives Wormwood a look as she lightly laughs at him, "Oh no, he didn't get lucky with my sister. He always turned her down, told her that he was not interested in her, and did not like her that way. She took that as a great offense and made him suffer. However, what my sister did not know was that redhead saved that spineless sorcerer's life and demanded that her son to be adopted away to a good couple, who we took care of as well. She even got my sister disowned and removed from the right to rule the kingdom of Croatia and now my brother Derek is ruling the kingdom."
Wormwood is stunned as he learns about it and says, "It all makes sense to me now. Plus, I will look forward to seeing that boy being sent to the mirror." Yes, the Black Raven Bird revels in the idea of another soul imprisoned in the mirror for all eternity.
As the group takes off from the hidden cave, they go their separate ways. Their actions of what they just did sends powerful magic waves throughout the Ever Realm and Mystic Isles. In the kingdom of Dominica, a woman is dazed as she grabs her flute, as she feels compelled to play a particular song. She goes outside to start playing the somber and sad song. The magical wind carries the song throughout the Ever Realm and Mystic Isles.
In the kingdom of Enchancia, the royal family along with Cedric and Baileywick hears the somber song. Cedric is deeply touched as he feels that his heart has dropped while tears are falling down his face. Roland looks at Cedric as tears are falling down his face as well. Seeing that the royal steward is also crying, Roland looks at Cedric and sighs, "I don't understand. It is like something awful happened but I don't know where it is." Roland said to Baileywick as he sees that the royal steward is also crying.
Baileywick nods in agreement, as he is crying as well. "I know your majesty. However, where is that music coming from?"
Roland calmly replies, "I don't know Baileywick." He looks at Cedric and notices the man is very somber, deeply affected for some unknown reason. He remains cautious, as he does not want to push the man into doing a spell to find out why he is deeply upset.
While James comforts Amber, she asks, "Daddy, did someone pass away somewhere in Enchancia?" The two crying children are dumbfounded while trying to find answers.
Roland looks at Amber as he nods to her, as he does not know who it is and replies, "It is certain to look that way Amber. I will have Constable Myles to do a welfare check on everyone in the kingdom and check to see if anyone has passed away." Roland is wondering who died to result with this unexpected somber music.
James looks at Roland and asks, "But dad, what if it is not someone in the kingdom?
Roland looks at James with uncertainty and replies, "We will have to wait and see what Constable Myles reports." Turning to Baileywick, he commands, "Take James and Amber back into the castle. I will walk Cedric back inside."
Baileywick nods as he looks at the deeply confused children and says, "Of course, your majesty." Baileywick gently ushers the children back into the castle.
Roland notices the deeply somber expression on Cedric's face and gives him a nudge to go back into the castle. He consoles, "Come on Cedric. We will talk about this tomorrow."
Cedric looks at Roland as he nods to him, not up to talking about it now. Roland and Cedric enter the castle and go up to the workshop. As Roland places Cedric in his room, Goodwyn comes out of the painting as he is getting the feeling that something is wrong. Goodwyn asks, "Roland what's going on?"
Roland looks at Goodwyn, as he is still somewhat confused about events and replies, "Did you hear the strange and very somber music where you are? For some reason, it made Baileywick, Amber, James, as well as myself cry. Plus it even deeply affects Cedric as he did cry but he became extremely somber and devastated for some reason."
Goodwyn looks at Roland and responds, "What, this is very strange and odd. I also hear a song but it doesn't make me cry. Yet it feels deeply somber for some reason that I cannot fathom."
Roland looks at Goodwyn, knowing it is very strange indeed and says, "Hmmm, I see. Will you keep an eye on Cedric for the time being? I am not sure why it affected him like this."
Goodwyn nods as he looks at Roland and replies, "Of course, your majesty." Roland thanks him as he leaves the workshop, still deep in thought.
At the shoe shop in Dunwitty Village, Miranda, Sofia, and a red headed girl named Madeline also hear the song as it makes them cry – especially Miranda and Madeline. Sofia is deeply confused about this as it is very unusual. She cries, "Mom! Madeline! Are you two ok? I am crying as well but it is deeper with you two."
Miranda looks at Sofia as she comforts Madeline, as she is deeply upset and devastated. She speaks gently to the girls, "I am not sure Sofia, but something awful happened somewhere but for now we should pray for the family that lost someone tonight."
Madeline looks at Miranda as she tries to pray and asks, "Mommy, why is it hard to pray for the family that lost someone when Daddy passed away in that storm?"
Miranda looks at Madeline, as she has not told her what her husband did to her, and trying not to stammer replies, "Well, when a person passes away, it will be a difficult time regardless." As she puts her girls to bed for the night, Miranda went to her room as sighs, knowing it is going to be a long night. She opens up a drawer and discovers a note glowing brightly. She gasps, neither expecting the note nor the obvious magic at play.
Dear Miranda,
If you are reading this, it means something terrible has happened to me. The captors that have kept me prisoner will be doing horrible things to me. There is a high chance that I will not survive what they have in store for me. If by some chance I survive this, just know that I will not interfere with your family life by any means. You must understand that my sacrifice is for the greater good.
There is one thing that I am not proud of, that is how I met someone close to you, and it resulted with my twins. However, my eldest twin is with you while my youngest twin was abducted from me. My youngest twin was not doing so well. After she was born, efforts to revive her non-magically did not work. The doctor that came told me he would prepare her for burial. However, that doctor tricked and deceived me by using magical resuscitation on her and stole her.
Regardless of whether or not I survive what they have in store for me, my sacrifice will be for the greater good. May the Eyes of the Jaquins, Protectors of the Mystic Isles, and Silent Watchers watch over you and your family.
Sincerely,
GMGR
The letter stuns Miranda as she looks at it again. She notices a box and pulls out a half torn birth certificate that has her husband's name as the father. She frowns as she realizes he hid the complete truth from her. As any loving mother, flesh, or otherwise, Miranda promises to keep the children safe. Madeline has a twin! Somewhere there is another child that needs her. Yet the missing portion of the birth certificate must contain the name of the doctor. Why did this magic withhold such important information from her?

Elsewhere in the kingdom of Enchancia, a young woman is at the Grand Queen's house as she also hears the music and tears are falling down her face. She thinks to herself, 'An honorable one has passed away in bad circumstances.' She continues to work.
In the Kingdom of Wimonia, a queen and her royal steward just gave the news to a woman who is in a different kind of dungeon as they have done their part in this. The other prisoners, also maid slaves, are shocked as she explained in detail how her daughter suffered. The elderly woman sobs uncontrollably while the queen and her steward left the dungeon as if nothing happened.
At a different kingdom in the Ever Realm, a young girl also hears the song and cries. She looks up at the stars wondering when she will finally be free from her bad home. She is not in a welcome place. She prays, "Please great heaven, please give me a sign to find a family that will truly care and love me."
At the Grand Magical Council, a man and his adult son received the news and are consoled by a couple of dear friends. Atticus, the head chair of the council, is furious. The father is deeply devastated. The adult son demands of Atticus, "How could this happen Atticus? We have searched for her deeply and that Watcher who was on the case has never given us that kind of update on her disappearance?"
Atticus looks at the adult son and replies, "I do not know Lorenzo. Your sister was one of the brightest and the best council members and Silent Watchers in the entire Ever Realm. I have a mind to deeply question him about the hours that he put into the investigation."
Lorenzo looks at Atticus, devastated by her death and cries, "I have been searching for her and my long lost niece for years. Moreover, my girlfriend knows about the search as the only sign that my long lost niece is still alive because of his snowflake made by Lady Agatha. Even though I am working at Royal Prep as a teacher, it just doesn't sit well the fact that my long lost niece doesn't know that her birth mother is dead. Now I have to tell my girlfriend the news that she will never get a chance to meet my sister."
Another man in the Council looks at them and sighs, as he knows the distraught feelings of when a person passes away. He decides to give him some words of wisdom and says, "Lorenzo, I am sure that Rosa will understand that you are deeply hurting son. The important thing is that you let her in the process."
The grieving elderly man nods in agreement, as he looks at Lorenzo and speaks, "Listen to Enrique, Lorenzo. I will send word to every council member in the Ever Realm and the other Silent Watchers. Not only that, I need to get your sister's will and follow the instructions she left behind. You are not good to me here right now my son."
Enrique nods as he looks at Lorenzo and promises, "I will take him to my house Fernando." Enrique needs to tell the adults in his home. After Fernando thanks him, he leaves with Lorenzo. It is the least he can do for his friend.
Fernando sighs, thinking about things on a very sad day. Knowing the difficulty, he dreads what must be explained but his voice finally declares, "Atticus, this passing, the truth about her life and the heroic deeds will come out eventually. The truth needs to come out to the Enchancia Royal family and the royal sorcerer family that it was Gabriella who saved Cedric's life those years ago during her Silent Watcher case."
Atticus nods in acknowledgement, "Yes, there will be a lot of shocked expressions on their faces. Don't forget the concern about the Watcher who is supposed to be deeply investigating her disappearance. I am planning to turn it over to the Protectors of the Mystic Isles and have him taken off on the case."
Atticus begins making plans to replace the Watcher. Fernando is in complete agreement. It is too late to save the woman's life but he must honor her memory. Fernando still sheds tears but feels commitment to the plan.

In the Mystic Isles, various islands are home to numerous magical creatures and beings. On the Isle of Spirits, things are running chaotically as the Spirit Carriers hear the alarm coming from the Valley of the Lost. Arriving on the scene, they see two new missing pictures of people whose spirits are lost due to entrapment in a strange phenomenon.
A spirit carrier named Sabrina frowns, knowing this is bad, for she is one of the Protectors of the Mystic Isles. She dons her enchantlet so that she may speak with Orion as he appears on the magical screen. She says, "Orion, there is a problem on the Isle of Spirits. Two new missing posters have appeared in the Valley of the Lost."
Orion sighs, as he knows about one of them having just finished a call with Atticus as well as a call from a Paladin named Rhineheart. He explained, "Understood, we know about one of them. The woman was a very special individual in the Ever Realm. Neither of their demises was from natural causes. Creatures of darkness used magic to murder those two. A protector will connect with their missing pictures. However, we don't know who that will be yet."
Sabrina nods as she looks at Orion and said, "Understood Orion. This will be a difficult time in the Ever Realm." When the call ends, she sighs as her thoughts focus on the families of the missing souls while saying a prayer.
-S-
A few years later during summertime in the Ever Realm, kids are out of school. The family just returned from their summer retreat to the Kingdom of Avalor. They had no idea that it went awry as Sofia and Madeline freed a princess from both of their amulets, nor that twin sisters existed at all. Once Shuriki was defeated, the vacation greatly improved.
Madeline is in her room with her things she packed for the trip. She sighs as she notices her special book is glowing. She is excited as she grabs her work journal and takes it to her closet to investigate. Even though Madeline has been solving prophecies for a few years all by herself, she still said to herself, "Oh boy! I wonder what this one is all about."
The Prophecy of Family and Friendship Ties
As the Wielder of the Scepter of Light is free from both amulets of Avalor
Family ties shall be revealed while friendship ties are put to the ultimate test
As a great and heinous lie made by the Vindictive Aries has been uncovered
Family estrangement shall lead to family forgiveness
While a great and terrible truth has been revealed by the Bond of Hope to the Enchancian King
Lastly, a friendship tie will break and end in a betrayal between the Bond of Hope and the Black Wings
The ultimate test of friendship ties will be coming for the Bond of Hope on the ultimate challenge against the Disgraced Headmaster.
His greatest sacrifices will be made to protect and save the one who has doubted him the most.
Thus, the activation of the Bond of the Sorcerer will arrive with the arrival of the Tambourita of Alejandro to the Bond of Kindness.
Madeline is stunned as she reads the prophecy several times, confused by the content. As is often true with prophecies, one person can interpret in a way that runs contrary to how another interprets. She begins musing the lines.
This is about Mister Cedric – but why? I have never heard of the Bond of the Sorcerer before or the Tambourita of Alejandro. Who is the Vindictive Aries that it mentions?
Madeline thought to herself as she writes. She retrieves her trusty dictionary and thesaurus to look up some words. Then she grabs a book about magical objects and items. She turns to the page about the Scepter of Light. This is interesting. The Scepter of Light is a special staff that fires magic originated in the Kingdom of Avalor. Hmmm, I need to write to Elena about this. Then Madeline looked up vindictive and Aries.
Vindictive means a person does horrible things and doesn't care about other feelings while doing it; having or demonstrating a wish to harm someone because you think that they harmed you; unwilling to forgive.
Aries, the first astrological sign of the zodiac; bold and ambitious; best suited as the Ram by diving headfirst into the most challenging situations. When feeling personally attacked, Aries becomes defensive and then vindictive. Nothing will stop them from getting their revenge.
Madeline thought I have a bad feeling that Grimtrix will make a comeback but the betrayal thing between Cedric and Wormwood. It doesn't make a lot of sense. How could that be true? Madeline continued puzzling over the challenge. She remained deep in thought concerning the Bond of the Sorcerer and needs to do further research.

At a mansion in the kingdom of Gladiz, a woman is walking around in the attic sighing while trying to find a picture frame with a picture of her sister for her upcoming wedding. As she moves a carton, the woman notices a box and sees an item that been hidden with a bunch of sealed letters addressed (but not delivered) to Enrique from a familiar name, Miranda. The woman gasps as she opens one of the letters and finds the family tree scroll. She looks at the picture of Miranda as it shows when she was alive and living in Enchancia.
The woman takes the entire box down with her, as she is upset, mad, and ready to confront a certain woman. Her arrival downstairs gets the attention of her older brothers and the good sister-in-law. She bellows, "Rodrigo, where are Mother and Dad?"
The brother named Rodrigo looks at the woman and realizes something has tormented his sister to a boil. He needs her to calm down. Choosing his words carefully, he says, "Rosa, it isn't good to get overly stressed before your wedding day. Besides, they're in the study."
Ernesto looks at them as he is getting the feeling that he is going to be in a world of hurt. He says, "Calm down Rosa. Why do you look like you are ready to explode?"
Rosa gives Ernesto a harsh look, ready to let him have it. She grabs Ernesto by the ears and starts dragging him to the study. Then spew the angry shouts, "Ernesto, we all have been played for a fool – especially you, and we need to show Lady Agatha and Dad this as well. You are not getting out of this so easily."
Rodrigo looks at them and sighs as he followed, as the kids are very confused on what is going on. Children as curious creatures sometimes follow when they should not. A girl named Miranda Louise asked, "Dad, what's going on with Auntie Rosa?"
Rodrigo looked at Miranda Louise, as it is very complicated to say the least. He patiently replied, "All will be explained later honey."
In the study, a divorced couple is discussing an assortment of matters both personal as well as business. Rose storms in, furious, and carrying the box. She grabs the family tree scroll from the box and snaps, "Dad! Lady Agatha! Renee has been lying to all of us about Miranda for years."
Enrique and Lady Agatha become dumbfounded with this revelation, never before hearing of such a thing. Lady Agatha has heard the name of Miranda in passing, and when spoken, referred to as someone from long ago. Enrique asked, "What, are you sure Rosa?"
Rosa nods as she lays the family tree scroll in front of him that shows Miranda is alive and remarried to a royal king. Holding the unopened letters as proof, she triumphantly cries, "I am positive Dad. The family tree scroll shows just that. Not only that, letters from Miranda were written to you were never opened are also in this box. Someone other than Renee must have intercepted them from you."
Enrique feels lightheaded with shock as he personally double checks the letters. Deeply troubled, he quietly said, "Then this means Miranda is alive and living in Enchancia all this time. It wouldn't surprise me if Josephine bought the lie as well."
Ernesto is stunned as he looks at it himself, as he is stunned and devastated. "I don't understand. Renee told us that Miranda died in a freak accident while she was away from home. I mean she kept us away from trying to find her or even get the location of the body." Ernesto said to them, as he is clearly distraught about it.
Enrique looks at Ernesto and sighs, "I do not know Ernesto. This evidence needs to be turned over to the Grand Magical Council and to the leading investigator of the Renee case. Also, you need to prepare Olivia for the fact that her mother has committed crimes against this family. We need to talk to the kids and tell them that they will soon meet more cousins at the upcoming wedding between Rosa and Lorenzo. In the meantime, I will talk to your mother about the travesty of a lie."
Enrique has a full mind to speak to Josephine about it. Lady Agatha looks at him as she supports his decision. She notices his children. They watch Enrique leave the room to move forward with his intent to notify the Grand Magical Counsel. Noticing Rodrigo's sad expression, she asks, "Rodrigo, are you alright?"
Rodrigo looks at Lady Agatha, his beloved that he married two years ago, and responded, "No, I tried to find Miranda to come to the wedding. I heard people talking about Queen Miranda when I was visiting a patient in Enchancia, but I thought it was my mind playing tricks on me because it was a different woman named Miranda. I sent the wedding invitation there, but she didn't show up to the wedding. She is still mad at Dad and Mother for what happened years ago."
The adult siblings look at each other as Lady Agatha nods in understanding as she does have adult kids of her own. They could all hear arguing between Enrique and Josephine from the other room. She is highly disappointed that Renee lied to her as well.
Finally, Lady Agatha says, "Perhaps the lie needs to be revealed to Miranda. It will start the healing process for her."
-S-
Whether coincidence in timing or by dictate of Fate, the lie reveals itself in the Kingdom of Enchancia at the home of Grand King Roland the First in the manor house. Roland cries while distraught as he saw the truth in the old pictures of Miranda from long ago as the same woman that save his first son's fiancée. Upon seeing his butler William, he cried, "What have I done? I believed that woman Renee over my own son!"
As a butler, William usually attempts to be discreet and unobtrusive, friendly but not familiar, keenly anticipative of the needs of his king, and graceful and precise in the execution of his duties. Learning the truth with his master, William adds a rare personal interjection from the typical banter. Without reproof, he said, "If I might be so bold, your majesty: you should make things right with your son and daughter-in-law first."
With a gentle chuckle, Roland the First nods and says, "I had a feeling you might remind me of my priorities. Oh, this is distressing! It will be a very long healing process."

Back in the Kingdom of Gladiz, a man frowns as he looks through the various intercepted letters as well as discussing detriment against a woman named Allison while he double-checked the family tree scroll. He discovers something deeply ugly that will devastate his daughter. The kids are fast asleep in their rooms as he spots the platinum blonde haired woman returning.
She looks at Ernesto and asks, "Ernesto, what are you doing home? I thought you were in the Kingdom of Croatia for a business meeting?" She hands her things over to the maid named Cindy including notes about her agenda for the next couple of days.
Ernesto looks at the woman, as he is furious that he has to make plans about things. He snapped, "That meeting has been postponed to the following week, Renee. Tell me this; did you even think you could get away with it? I have proof that you are a liar."
Renee looks at Ernesto, as she does not know what upset him. She decides she must use her feminine wiles to calm him and playfully teases, "Whatever do you mean Ernesto? You look very tense tonight. I know just what you need."
Ernesto looks at Renee, refusing to succumb to her charms, glares at her, and continues, "You have lied to this family, a royal in Enchancia, and who knows how many others. Olivia is not even your biological daughter. You lied to everyone about Miranda. Did you or did you not purposely kept Mother from going to Miranda's wedding in Enchancia because it would have exposed your lies much sooner?" Ernesto further explains that he spoke with Josephine and carefully watches Renee's facial expressions.
Renee stares at Ernesto in disbelief, the secret of her horrible truth finally revealed. Shock turns to downright evil as a smirk spreads across her face. She hisses, "Yes, I lied to all of you. That lower class woman didn't deserve to have your kid, but I did. I faked my pregnancy to make sure that you stayed with me up until I gave – or should I say Allison – gave birth to Olivia. The Society punishes those who broke their laws. Allison suffered for breaking Society law. I had to keep Josephine from that wedding in Enchancia for more than one reason, Ernesto. Of course you are too occupied with work to notice such things."
Ernesto frowns as he glares at Renee, furious over what she did. Even now, she showed no sign of remorse. As his blood boils, he shouts, "I will file for divorce, Renee, and I will get full custody of Olivia. If you even dare go after the other kids, especially Miranda Louise, I will ask the kings of Gladiz and Enchancia to have you banished and blacklisted from ever returning to the kingdoms."
Renee looks at Ernesto and laughs, "Ha! I want to see you try, Ernesto. Even if you know about the truth and expose that secret to others, I will make you suffer for it, and I might add Rebecca to that list as well." She grabs most of her things and magically teleports them to her carriage. As she leaves the house, Ernesto grimaces while Enrique and Lady Agatha are supporting him. Josephine is very guilty about things, and knows that she has to make things right with Miranda.
Unbeknownst to the adults, however, is that Olivia overheard everything between her parents. Tears flow uncontrollably. Her mind races with anguish. It can't be true. Why would she say that to him? Why drag Aunt Rebecca into it? Dread starting taking hold of her. Is her mom her real and true mother?

That night in the Kingdom of Enchancia, everyone is asleep benefiting from the deepest of dreams. However, one person in particular is not having the sweetest dreams. One tosses and turns while his subconscious wreaks havoc.
Cedric is by himself as he is walking around in a dark and desolate place. Darkness is everywhere. The place is giving him the creeps as he is wondering how to get out of here. As the darkness is chasing him, he hears a peculiar voice.
You will never escape from us.
The abnormal voice was comprised of an unblended chorus. Two of the voices seem familiar to him and he instantly knew whom they belonged. The third, however, is a voice locked in his memories suddenly revealed to the conscious.
Cedric is stunned as he stares at a giant, dark, and gooey statue as it is talking to him. He frowns as he realizes who it is. Terrified, he mutters, "No, it can't be you."
The strange voice forms into a dark blurry mist of energy, appearing to look at Cedric. Yet one voice takes the lead, the female voice from his memories. She speaks in one voice, "Yes it is me Cedric. Ever since that woman saved you that night and I was arrested, I waited for the day where I will come back to haunt you and get my revenge. Not only that, we have a son somewhere in the Ever Realm, and the woman that saved you is no longer alive."
Cedric is stunned with two revelations about his own past. The dark mist of energy approaches him. He feels uncontrollable anguish. The chorus of voices returns, laughing at Cedric while sending negative energy towards him, weakening his typical steadfastness. Sweat exudes all over his body. He cries out, "What, no!"
The Black Raven Bird appears within the dark mist of energy and speaks in raspy tones, "It is the truth, and I know all, for I am Wormwood!"
Cedric becomes frozen with fear as he hears that name. The dark mist of energy is getting closer and closer, until a bright light blocks the dark energy to protect him. Cedric is surprised by this as he sees a very unique symbol hit the strange dark being away. The bright light rescues Cedric from the nightmare and the scenery changes to a warm, comforting, and heavenly area.
Cedric is amazed and deeply shocked. He gasps as he finds himself in the comforting scenery. He is confused yet relieved. He calls out, "Is someone here? Did you save me from that dark energy?"
A strange mirror appears with a female ghostly spirit trapped within it. She calls out to him, "Hello, Bond of Hope. Do you remember me?"
Stammering, Cedric replies, "You – you are the one who save me fourteen years ago. You look like the same one I saved when we were kids. Your name escapes me but how did you end up trapped in that mirror?"
The ghostly woman looks at Cedric for it is a long story and more difficult to explain. She explains, "It is alright, Bond of Hope. Just call me the Angelic Spirit for now. How I ended up in this mirror is a painful and difficult story. The only thing that I can tell you right now is that I paid the ultimate price to protect you, the Bond of Kindness who is my little angel, and everyone in the entire Ever Realm and the Mystic Isles. My passing is for the greater good as well."
Cedric is dumbfounded and responds, "Oh wow, I had no idea. Why did you appear to me now? I do appreciate that you pulled me out from that nightmare. Is what that woman who tortured me for weeks said is true? Do I have a son in the Ever Realm?" He is desperate to know the truth.
The Angelic Spirit looks at Cedric and replies, "Yes you do. When that woman was brought to trial, she was a few months pregnant with your son. I didn't want your son to suffer from the serious judgment of his birth. I sensed that he is deeply innocent from what happened and deserved to have a normal life despite the circumstances of his birth and the choices of his birth mother. I advocated for your son to be placed for adoption with a good couple who didn't have any familial or friendship ties to his birth mother. The reason why he wasn't with you for those years because you were still in pain. Placing him with you will not help you with your recovery as well."
Cedric looks at the Angelic Spirit with understanding and says, "I see. Are his adoptive parents still alive or anything like that?"
The Angelic Spirit looks at Cedric, shakes her head, and replies, "No. Your son's adoptive parents are dead. The ones responsible for my capture and passing made sure that they were out of the way and placed your son with those who has ties to the evil society. By then, they had already kidnapped me and told me their plans. They tried to get more information about what I know about other things. The truth is that I was the biggest enemy of the evil society."
Cedric exclaims, "What? Then who is the biggest enemy of the evil society now?"
The Angelic Spirit looks at Cedric, as she needs to tell him. She smiles warmly and continues, "The biggest enemy of the evil society is my little angel, the Bond of Kindness. You know her as Princess Madeline."
Cedric realizes, "You're Madeline's birth mother!"
The Angelic Spirit nods to Cedric, "That's correct Bond of Hope. The only one that deserves to know about me for the time being is the Faithful Trident, Queen Miranda of Enchancia."
Cedric asks, "Wait, I don't understand. How do you know Queen Miranda?"
The Angelic Spirit looks at Cedric and replies, "I did not meet her personally when I was alive, but I have chosen her to raise and care for the Bond of Kindness. In addition, I needed to find a place where the evil society didn't think or expect to look for my little angel, the Bond of Kindness. I made sure that my little angel had many protection spells on her to throw them off the trail until she became a royal princess and gained her amulet of Avalor for even more protection. With that, my protection spells wear off so the amulet can take over."
Cedric tries doing the math to alleviate his confusion, "You mean you did all of that, but does this mean that there are actually two amulets of Avalor? How can that be? Grimtrix told me that there is only one amulet and Sofia is wearing it. Did you wear one as well?"
The Angelic Spirit nods as she looks at Cedric, "Yes I was the only other wearer of the amulet that my little angel, Bond of Kindness is wearing now. That Disgraced Headmaster has deeply lied and manipulated you, Bond of Hope. The truth is you need to become the safe keeper guardian that you are meant to become, Bond of Hope."
Cedric cries in exasperation, "What do you mean Grimtrix lied and manipulated me? What do you mean by the safe keeper guardian that I am meant to become?"
The Angelic Spirit looks at Cedric as she shows him an image of his inner darkness and continues her explanations, "Bond of Hope, the inner darkness that you carry needs to be overcome. Now is the time to sacrifice your evil desires for the greater good and to work on owning up to your past mistakes and wrongs that you have done over the years. The truth is that the Disgraced Headmaster and the Black Wings have taken advantage of you because of the inner darkness and pain that you have been through ever since you were a kid. It is because of that inner darkness that you are easily accessible to be manipulated by those who have no business to influence you."
Cedric asks, "Is that why I heard Grimtrix's and Wormwood's voices in that strange black energy along with that other woman's voice?"
The Angelic Spirit nods as she looks at Cedric, "Yes, that is correct Bond of Hope. A very special test is coming for you, Bond of Hope. When you pass the first part, the second part will come when you ultimately confront the Disgraced Headmaster and sacrifice yourself to save the one who has always doubted you. When that happens, the reward for passing the test will reveal itself in many ways and the activation of the Bond of the Sorcerer will take place. Good luck."
What is the Bond of the Sorcerer? What kind of test must he undergo and pass? Cedric feels a sense of freefalling as the Angelic Spirit leaves the dream. He awakens with a cold sweat on his forehead. He is desperate for fresh air and opens the window to clear his mind. Then he grabs the book where he first learned about the amulet. Yes, only one amulet – not two.
Cedric vows in whisper, "Grimtrix, I am not going to be your puppet anymore." He steels himself to prepare for the upcoming test and ultimate showdown.
Outside of the castle, Wormwood overhears what Cedric just announced. He frowns in realization. Something must have happened to result in such a statement. Wormwood speaks in exposition while flying away from the castle, "Well, I guess that is that with that spineless sorcerer! I will find someone who is truly evil. That spineless sorcerer will pay!"

Back in the Kingdom of Mezbez, a nearly 10-year-old girl with bright red hair and blue green eyes sighs. It is summer and simply a matter of time before she is sent to a very awful tower. As long as she has ever remembered, she is sent away to a strange tower in a different kingdom. No matter if she did well in school, received straight A's in her class, stayed out of trouble at home and school – she was sent to the tower regardless.
Maybe, just maybe, I will see Prince Daniel again. He might be able to help me to escape from that tower. Such thoughts encouraged her to devise a plan to do just that.
A woman's voice yells toward the girl, "BEATRICE!"
The girl sighs, "Coming, Mother." Summer is the worst season for her.
