I jolted awake and looked around. Why was I awake?
It only took a few seconds to realize that my bladder was full. Groaning I contemplated just going back to sleep for a while. But Eventually, the Full bladder won. Climbing off the top Bunk I just missed my Twin Brother's Head. However, I didn't miss his water glass that was tipped over. But honestly, that happened so much that I didn't care or even think about it.
Walking out into the dark hallway I turned left and then at the end of the hallway turned right into the Bathroom. Or maybe it was the Toilet Room since it only held the Toilet. I thought for a while taking longer than expected with my full bladder before shaking off the last few drops. But as I started to turn around I noticed a glowing coming from outside.
Shit.
Was I dreaming? Quickly feeling I didn't feel anything wet. But My mind was quickly drawn back to the glowing outside. I didn't want to die in my dream alone, especially a lucid dream. So making a split-second decision I walked back to my room and shook hunter awake. But when he just told me to bugger off I picked up his glass and splashed it in his face.
"What the hell?" Hunter growled his eyes screaming bloody murder.
"Wait-" I started but hunter started to get up throwing his blankets off violently.
Crab Nuggets.
Rushing outside I fled down the hallway and in his blind rage Hunter Followed me. But As I opened the door outside he became confused.
"Uh, Noah? You know I can lock you outside right?" Hunter rolled his eyes still fuming.
"Something is glowing out there, Wanna check it out?" I asked.
Looking Behind me Hunter could see the Now apparent Glowing of something outside. He shrugged assuming this was a dream and wanted to get it over and done with we both headed outside.
"Woah," We both muttered looking at the strange Sphere. It was Multicoloured in appearance and took up the entire deck in length. Without a moment of hesitation, we both entered.
"Man This is gonna suck when I wake up," Hunter sighed.
"Wait. I'm the one dreaming," I said slowly.
But any hesitation (If Any) Was too late. We had both entered the Sphere. As we looked around we realized that we weren't standing on anything. I tried to look around but it hurt my eyes. Why? Because there wasn't anything solid either. So my eyes couldn't focus on anything but My brother. And Sadly I didn't think of that Yet.
"This is weird," I noted.
"Yeah. Maybe it's a shared dream?" Hunter suggested. I shrugged looking at him.
"Hey look at this!" I shot my hand up and didn't expect anything to happen. But I was shocked to discover that something did happen. The multicolored energy dug into my skin and zapped me like an electric fence.
"Ow!" I screamed for a second not expecting the shock. Hunter laughed and I kicked his leg which resulted in him getting shocked as well. He yelped and sent me a death glare.
"Truce?" I suggested meekly. Hunter rolled his eyes and grumbled.
"Isn't pain meant to wake you up?" Hunter said after a second.
"Yeah- Wait," I trailed off. But suddenly the ground beneath me opened up and I could say that a demon arose. Or a cute Cat-girl. Or maybe even Goku. But nope Instead I fell like an apple. Newton would've figured out the secret to time travel or human flight if I landed on his head with the speed I was going.
Instead of thinking logically and with my belief that this was all a dream. My Instincts took over and the only thing I thought about was my pancake life. Or maybe I would be Flat Stanly?
"AHHHH!" I screamed. I screamed again. And Again. And Again. For Five Minutes until I grew bored. But no sooner than I had gotten my breath back Did I spot a sea approaching fast below me? To my right was An Island not that far.
Deciding not to experience the life of a 2d character I changed into a position I wasn't familiar with. But I had seen it in movies and video games. Putting both feet underneath me like I was an assassin from the creed I brought my hands close to my chest and fell straight into the water.
A cold. Like really fricking cold feeling washed over me as I fell into the water. If it was any other type of water my feet would probably be on fire from pain. But I didn't feel it because of the cold water. Shooting up for air I breathed in some really cold and crispy air.
But damn if I was dry and warm this air would feel really nice.
Swimming over to the Nearby Island I reached its shore rather quickly. And Dragging myself onto the shoreline was also difficult. Why was it so bloody cold? I was in some of the thinnest clothing in the history of man. So what do I do? Well, It's easy I start to roll around.
My logic was that since the Sand had been out all day, When did it become Day, the warm sand would heat me up? Along with the physical exercise I would be getting. So I rolled. And rolled. Until finally I wasn't cold anymore. But I was Dizzy.
Standing up to prevent the Vertigo I held my head to stop it from moving. As I looked around I still believed it was a dream. But as I walked the shore feeling the sand beneath my toes and seeing plants I'd never seen before I came to a realization. I wasn't dreaming.
When that thought hit me I stood still for a few seconds. Wasn't Dreaming? No Way. I'd Prayed to god like a thousand times just to be reincarnated into a specific world with specific powers. I didn't remember how many times I wished to not be in my world.
Excitement filled me as I became giddy. And what made it even better was that Hunter was here too! Sure I might miss the anime back home. And oh flip I couldn't see the ending of One piece either I was in another world! No Taxes! No Homework! I was ecstatic. But soon I tried to figure out where I was.
"Okay So first I'm on an Island Alone surrounded by water in the cold. I could be in one piece?" I thought to myself.
"Gamer system report," I demanded.
Nothing. I waited a few seconds. Nothing.
"Welp. Guess I don't have a Gamer system. Oh well," I sighed. There goes the easy way to figure out where I am.
"Sacred Gear!" I yell out picturing Zeno's Erasing ability. Nothing again. I groaned and sighed. Then walking over to the water I looked at my ears. Not pointy so that rules out the legend of Zelda.
"Kamehameha!" I try to condense my energy but once again nothing. I Take a serious stance and attempt to punch the clouds away. Nothing.
I keep attempting to figure out where I am for the next hour or so. I even try to call out a pokemon. I groan and sigh.
"Without Magic wherever I am just got a whole lot worse," I mutter. Walking into the forest to see if I could get anything. Maybe a devil fruit? Or maybe a magical creature? But I don't see anything. I do find some flowing Mushrooms though. And on a whim, I pick them up and stuff them in my pockets. They could either feed me for a little or for the rest of my life.
I look up heard a strange sound and notice a fallen tree log rolling toward me. I yell point at it and leap out of the way. But something strange happened it didn't immediately roll past me.
Confused I point at it again trying to pick up on that strange feeling I felt for a second when suddenly spot a strange lock-like symbol appearing on my right hand. It was yellow in color and seemed to stop the log in its tracks...
"Stasis! A Botw Rune! FLIP YEAH!" I shouted in joy. I attempt to use other runes but nothing happens. Curious I walked over summoned stasis again and kicked it. No sound came from the log. Not even one. However, I did notice something strange. It was weightless as it soared off into the distance.
"What?" I gawked. Walking over to a nearby boulder I did the same. I punched it a few times downwards and let go. It didn't even move an inch. So using Stasis again I attempted to pick it up. It was lighter than a feather. Yet I could still feel its weight. Really bloody weird. If I had to describe it, it would go something like I didn't feel its weight yet I knew what it would feel like to pick it up.
"So I freeze objects in time... Then they become weightless? Am I breaking their existence?" I wondered. Perhaps I was. To be transported to another world required magic. But since to my knowledge, there was no magic here. Then it would be a crack in space-time. And I had stuck my hand in space-time.
"So what? I can break objects off from reality?" I wondered. Getting an Idea I tried to use it on the ground. To no Avail. Then a tree that was alive. The only thing I got was a backache.
"It has to be objects unconnected to the earth, Or maybe..." I trailed off before grabbing a stick and sticking it into the ground. Then Using Stasis on it I tried to pull it out. And To my surprise, it worked!
"What? Do I have to be able to lift it without it? Or maybe It doesn't work on things with roots?" I attempted stasis on a nearby bush to be certain and my hunch was right. If it had some kind of system I couldn't pull it out. But Anything else was fair game.
"I wish there was some kind of animal around here to test this on," I muttered. I shrugged and continued my little walk in the forest.
A while later I came across some sort of glowing. Curiosity filled me as I walked towards it. If it was another portal I wasn't going to go through. But if it wasn't then maybe I would find a city!
"Hello?" I called walking around the boulder that I had previously thrown. And the Log as well? Maybe there was a set distance.
However, it was what was underneath that caught my attention. It was dark blue and glowing. My eyes widened even further when I realized that it was alive! And I knew what this was.
"A flightmare!" I gasped.
It didn't look like the flightmare from the show but now I bloody knew where I was.
"I'm in How to train your dragon!" I smiled. But suddenly the Flightmare blasted at me with its mist and I was paralyzed for a good minute.
When I unfroze since the flightmare couldn't move I gave it a flat stare.
"Really man? You just gotta ruin the moment for me don't ya," I sighed. The Flightmare growled and Attempted another blast. But I was faster and froze it in time. I grinned at my handiwork as I got to a safe distance, Behind a tree.
Then I unfroze the angry Dragon which seemed confused about where I had gone.
"Look We can either do this the hard way or the easy way," I smiled. Before remembering how Hiccup had Trained toothless. First, he gained its trust with a fish and then he disarmed himself. Well, I already had step two done. But what could I fear the Flightmare? I put my hands into my pockets and came into contact with the glowing Mushrooms from earlier.
A grin slowly appeared on my face as I pulled them out and stared at them. Walking out from behind the tree I walked slowly up to the flightmare.
"Are you hungry bud," I tried sounding like hiccup. He was the dragon master and I wasn't. The dragon stared at me then at the mushrooms. I could see in his eyes that he was hungry but he wouldn't eat from a human.
"Well, that's too bad," I grinned waving them to further entice the dragon. But then I slowly realized that he was trapped in my tests. So walking forward with my right hand at the ready I placed the mushrooms in front of him and he began to eat them. I grinned to myself before I used Stasis on the boulder first.
Lifting it up slowly I watched the flightmare continue to eat the Mushrooms. Not having much time to waste I lifted the log off its wing. The second I did the flightmare stopped eating. And slowly it turned around to face me.
"Uh. Hi," I waved attempting to Stasis it. However, to my fright, it didn't work.
"Shit," I cursed before taking one look at the snarling flightmare and dashing off. I could hear it chasing me as I neared a small pond. Making a quick decision I ran around it and continued to run. I made it all the way to the beach before I realized that the Flightmare wasn't chasing me anymore.
"Don't go back to the killer dragon Noah. Not without Stasis," I whispered.
"But It's a dragon! A flightmare! One of my Favourites! Plus it's my only chance to be able to see where the hell I am!" I argued back.
"You have a good point," I sighed before sneaking back towards the last place I had seen the dragon. I didn't know if it had flown off but judging from the glow I saw up ahead I don't think it went anywhere.
I popped my head over and saw that the Flightmare was staring at the water's reflection. It made some noises and tilted its head back and forth. But it continues to bloody stare at the water.
"Oh god don't tell me it's a Narcissistic dragon," I groaned shaking my head. I slowly approached and the flightmare didn't even look up at me. But I could see in the reflection of the water that its eyes were staring straight at me.
"Hiya. I'm Noah and I'm kinda here to befriend you," I started. The Flightmare turned its head around and growled at me. I breathed in and put my hand forward. The dragon tilted its head and seemed to eye me.
'Do you have a death wish?' Its eyes seemed to say.
"Quite the opposite," I replayed cheerily, "Since I know next to nothing about serving in the wilds of Httyd This is an investment in my safety!" I grinned.
The dragon just stared back at me. And I groaned and sat down next to it.
"So you just gonna keep staring at me or your reflection all day?" I asked. The Flightmare looked back into the water and inside its eyes met mine. I titled my head and it copied me. I stuck my tongue out and it did the same. I closed one eye and so did it.
"Aren't you the copycat," I smirked, The Flightmare seemed to mock me by imitating my words and grin.
"You know if I train you I could introduce you to a whole other world!" I offered. But the Flightmare just mocked me again. So getting irritated I mocked it back. It narrowed its eyes and produced another noise. Not having trouble I mimicked that too. It stood up and blasted some mist into the trees.
Almost immediately a squirrel fell from the trees paralyzed. The flightmare looked at me smugly. I growled a little and noticed a deer off in the distance. Reaching out my hand and using stasis I froze the deer in time. Then walked over and lifted it over my head.
The flightmare's eyes widened before they lifted into the sky. I reared back and threw the Deer with full force sending it straight into the stratosphere. The flightmare's head shot back before turning back to me and landing before me.
"What? Is our little contest over?" I asked raising an eyebrow. The Flightmare just stood there staring. I shrugged and held out my hand to free the poor deer wherever it was but to my surprise the Flightmare pressed its nose against my hand.
My jaw opened in shock. "That's how I train you? With a contest? Really?" I shook my head sadly. The flightmare tilted its head and approached me. Sniffing me and circling me it took in my scent and my appearance. I grinned and looked up before getting a little afraid. It was nearly dusk. In Httyd it was winter for bloody half the year. This world was far too cold for Pj's.
"Hey uh. Do you mind if I call you twilight?" I asked. The flightmare looked at me and tilted its head. "Um... Mr, glow?" I asked. The flightmare continued to hold its place.
"Okay how about um... Midnight!" I suggested. It didn't get a reaction either.
"Cosmo?" I muttered. The flightmare let its tongue out and seemed to stand at attention. I grinned.
"Cosmo it is!" I clapped and Cosmo copied my movements. I frowned. "Maybe Copy cosmo. Copy's-me Cosmo. Eh, it can at least be explained a little," I shrugged.
"Anyway Cosmo I kind of need to ride you so I can go find berk or something," I said walking over to his side. Cosmo's eye's followed me with curiosity as I pushed down on his back. He didn't react and slowly I hopped on. Cosmo continued to stare at me for a while before I sighed.
Reaching my hands out I flapped a few times and Cosmo copied me again. Flying into the air pointed his head straight and he seemed to get the message. Flying off the island and into the distance I wondered to myself.
Where the hell am I?
