Gohan had just finished training with Piccolo, this had become a routine for Gohan as he always finished the work his mother gave him early, and instead of doing nothing after he finished his work, he had begged his mom to let him train as he had nothing better to do, it had been a year since the events of the Cell Games had happened, Gohan had felt like his father's death was his fault, and instead of just moping like he probably would've done, he used his father's sacrifice as motivation to get stronger and prevent what happened to him to happen again, so for the past year he trained till he couldn't move anymore, till he felt like dying from the pain alone.

As Gohan was returning back home from his spar with Piccolo, he stared at the sky 'if only you were here dad, then Goten wouldn't wonder where you are as he grows up' he thought, once he spotted his house he landed and opened the door to see his mom waiting for him in the couch with a baby Goten in her arms, once Goten was born, chichi had spent less time worrying over whether Gohan had finished his studies or not, and while he could just not do the work or just do some of it, he decided to instead move at the speed of light and finish all of his work instead of taking his time like he usually does, Giving him more time to train.

"Mom I'm back!!!" he shouted from the doorway as he took off his shoes before entering the house, judging from the smell that permeated throughout the entire house, his mom was making Lunch; good thing too, he was starving after the intense sparring session he had with Piccolo.

"Gohan, can you come here for a moment sweetie!" shouted back chichi

Deciding that the safest option for him was to listen to his mom, he didn't want another Frying Pan of DOOM experience ever again, he shuddered at the memory. Once he reached the kitchen he saw his mother almost done with the giant meals she had prepared, the meals alone could probably feed an entire town, but the meal wasn't for an entire town but for Gohan alone, with of course a small portion of it for chichi as well. As for the little bundle of joy that was propped up in a baby chair, there were multiple jars of baby food; all flavored carrot seeing as it was the baby's favorite type of baby food.

"what is it mom?" he asked once he got there, making chichi turn around.

she grabbed a towel to clean her hands off from any of the grease from the food she was finishing. "well Gohan I have some exciting news" she started off, she turns to one of the counters that didn't have any food and grabbed a manila folder with the words Orange Star Middle School "I have decided to enroll you into a school for you to attend" she said as she handed him the manila folder with his information in it.

"I want you to dress nicely because tomorrow we are going to the school for you to take the entrance exams" she stated as Gohan looked at the Manila folder containing all of his information, he then looked at the symbol of the school.

you see Orange star Middle school was located near Satan city considering the middle school was a small portion of an huge plot of land, there was also an Elementary and High school within that plot of land, not considering the three boundaries that split each grade level apart, the entire school could be technically counted as a city on it's own.

The school was personally funded by Hercule Satan himself, not that Gohan knew that, in the school you could find a major to excel in to enter the school, you can get in through recommendations or paying the price the school charges to attend the school, which keep in mind is no small price, the price sitting at 400,000 Zeni. The school was also a boarding school meaning that he was going to have to pack his things to prepare to live in a dorm.

Gohan just sighed as he realized he was going to have to cancel that sparring match he was going to have with Vegeta tomorrow. Gohan turned back to look at his mother. "By when do i have to leave tomorrow" he asked his mother to note what time he was going to have to get up.

"we'll be leaving around 4 AM" she stated shocking Gohan,

"why are we waking up that early just to head to school?" he said in a confused tone

"Bulma was kind enough to invite us over to her house before you head out to the school, Me and Goten will temporarily be living with her until you are done with Middle and High school" she said further surprising Gohan; on the bright side he wouldn't have to cancel the spar with Vegeta as they could spar way before he has to get ready for school.

The next day 3:50 AM

Gohan got up early the following day as he still had to pack some things, so he quickly showered and brushed his teeth, he got everything he used and put it in his luggage bag, he grabbed the interview suit he was going to wear and came down stairs in his Gi, he had made sure to pack two sets of Gi's that were similar to his dad's and another two sets of Gi's that belonged to his Mentor and best friend Piccolo.

Gohan sighed as he dreaded the trip to Capsule Corp. While he hadn't slacked off on his training, Vegeta was no Pushover, having obtained super saiyan 2 a few months after the cell games due to the frustration of losing his rival, Goku, and his inability to protect his future son from dying at the hands of cell (no one knew that he would wake up in a cold sweat with tears running down his face in the middle of night after waking up from the same nightmare that has plagued him for a while following trunks death and revival).

Gohan walked downstairs with his luggage in one hand and his fancy tuxedo to make him look presentable for the entrance exam. "Hey mom I'm ready to go" he said as he saw his mom finishing breakfast, he turned to look at the table and almost laughed at seeing Goten half asleep at the table, he set his luggage next to the stairs and carefully placed his tuxedo on one of the near couches and sat down at the table waiting for the food to be set down.

Gohan decided to help his mother out and opened one of the baby food jars, as soon as the jar opened up Goten immediately woke up and reached out to grab the jar, Gohan lightly laughed at the immediate response he got from his little brother the moment he opened the jar containing baby food, he grabbed the little baby spoon and using a bit of his speed spoon fed his brother quickly finishing the first jar within seconds.

After a couple minutes have gone by and all 40 jars of baby food was now empty Gohan cleaned his little brother from the food that had managed to fly around his little area and part of his face, after he finished he decided to eat seeing his mother had set the food down the moment he had finished feeding Goten.

"So are you ready for the entrance exam Gohan?" Chichi replied trying to make small talk with Gohan before he had to leave to take his entrance exam and to start his first day as well.

"I'll be as ready as I can be" he said as he felt like he'll pass, no doubt about that due to the fact that his intellect was on par with College students.

After a few minutes had passed they headed outside, Chichi called Kinto'Un, and once the golden magical cloud had arrived, and stopped in front of ChiChi, she got on top of the cloud carrying goten in her arms.

"Are you ready to go Gohan, did you make sure to take everything with you?" she asked as she wanted to make sure Gohan had everything ready before they would leave, he turned to look at her "i have everything ready mother said as he began to slowly levitate from the ground.

Chichi smiled as Kinto'Un began to slowly rise as well, Gohan turned to look at his house, this was probably the last time he'll get to see it for a long time. As the magical cloud took off, he took off as well towards the direction of capsule corp.

Half an hour later, 4:50 am

After traveling for half an hour due to baby goten not yet used to the high speeds the cloud can travel, they managed to get to West City, where they continued on their way to capsule corp. Which didn't take more than a minute to get there, once they landed at the front door of capsule corporations, they rang the doorbell to the building, after a couple of minutes of waiting, bulma opened the door, revealing her to be wearing her lab coat, her hair was a mess, and it looked as if she hadn't slept in a couple of days.

"Bulma, you doing ok?" Gohan asked worriedly at his godmother, Bulmas response was a simple yawn as she rubbed her eyes "no, I'm not ok, I haven't slept in 3 days due to Vegeta constantly breaking the Gravity room! along with having to work on an important project that could possibly advance our civilizations medical knowledge decades ahead of what was once possible."

At the prospect of hearing Bulma's plan, Gohan's eyes widened in fascination "Really, that sounds wonderful Bulma!" Gohan shouted in excitement, causing her to chuckle. It brought relief to Bulma that Gohan was acting like a child, given his circumstances growing up, forcing him to grow up faster than most kids his age would act. Bulma invited them inside her house as she took them to a guest room, where Chi Chi will be staying during Gohan's Journey throughout his Middle and High school journey.

After settling in, Gohan headed to the Gravity room and entered inside with his Gi on, he set the gravity to 300x Earth's Gravity as he began practicing his Katas for the turtle school and the demon school, after a couple of minutes of going through the Kata's, he began throwing a couple of punches and kicks, after feeling a bit of resistance due to the gravity, he continues with his battle as he imagined him fighting a foe.

After 2 hours of working out, Gohan turned off the Gravity, he looked at the internal clock the Gravity chamber had, it read 6:55 AM, he began freaking out for a bit, but remembered that he still has about an hour before class began, with that out of the way, Gohan went to the bathroom where he took a long hot shower to relax his muscles after the intense workout he just did.

Once Gohan got out of the Shower, he dressed in his school clothes, and went to the dining are within Capsule Corp. Where he ordered his breakfast.

After a hearty breakfast, he looked down at his watch and saw that he half an hour before class would begin, so he decided to start heading to school, after saying goodbye to Bulma and his mom(he was going to avoid Vegeta, considering that if he walked up to the prince, he would most likely drag him to the gravity chamber to spar, and he didn't have any time to spend with the prince currently) he flew off towards the direction of satan city.

Hey everyone sorry for being gone for like almost a year, or has it been a year, idk, anyways sorry for being gone for a long time, it's been a pretty hectic year, given with the whole pandemic that's happened, and the major writers block that I was going through prevented me from really touching any of the unfinished stories I have, i'll try and work on the next chapter soon, but i'm a bit busy atm as well due to me almost entering Uni, along with me trying to become a streamer as well.Don't expect chapters to come out quickly, I'll try and see if I can upload again by the end of the month maybe, and see if I can upload at least once per month.Also this story really came to me at the spur of the moment after I read a fanfiction titled Connected by Puro H on , and it was also partially inspired by my first story, Gohan the Golden warrior, anyways, i'll see you guys on the next upload
