5 months had passed since the defeat of Chongbai and the Yether Age clan, and Geoff and Maggie's wedding. The married couple decided to change their surname to Hall-Sanders since Maggie wanted an hyphenation surname. The Ninja had started to become lazy, mostly playing video games, eating junk food, sleeping in, or other activities. Because of his recent discovery as a relative of a former controversial senator, Hayden decided to move out of the monastery and into his uncle's mansion, offering his room to Cirrus for her unborn child, but Dragon refused to let her have it, proclaiming that the room will always belong to Hayden. Hayden even had a brief relationship, but it didn't last long, mainly due to wanting to see what it felt like to be in a relationship, even she knew it. Gewuji had hoped to give her relationship with Lloyd another go, but he stupidly had Kai write a list of pros and cons about her, which she found while cleaning his room, and refused to speak with him about having a relationship again at all. One day, at precisely 9 a.m., Zane, in a new gi, was in his bedroom, asleep before thudding was heard, causing him to wake up.
Out in the hallway, Zane exits his room and looks around before turning left and started walking down the path, breathing heavily from nervousness. Another thud soon went off, making Zane turn around, only to find nothing before turning to the entrance to the training ground.
Outside, the thudding was intensifying with the handles on the gate rattling, making Zane turn to them. A red glow appears through the gates' gap as they rattle before he started heading over to them. "Who is it?" He asked, a little nervous. The gates rattle more as the glow appeared again. Zane prepared to open them, only for them to open from the other side, bringing in a gust of misty wind that forces him back from the gates. "Wha-?" As he continued breathing heavily, Zane sees a figure in the mist, coming towards the gate. "Who are you? What do you want?"
The figure soon gets out a naginata with a scroll rolled around the top of the handle. "Revenge!" The figure replied with a raspy feminine voice while spinning the naginata. The mist clears away to show the figure is a gold Serpentine with flames all over. The Serpentine soon held her naginata out to Zane as flames start erupting around the blade, making him whimper before she fired the shot.
Zane suddenly sees an army of Serpentine engulfed in flames as they march along before a big one hisses at him. He started to breath heavily and whimper as he suddenly sees a castle engulfed in ice, a figure in armour sitting at the throne and holding a sceptre.
He soon sees the Serpentine marching along the streets of Ninjago City as civilians soon start to scream and run away. "No, no." He muttered. He suddenly sees a white dragon in an icy sky, flying towards a village by a frozen lake, roaring.
The dragon soon breathes out ice, spreading across the village, instantly freezing everyone solid. Zane soon sees Lloyd, Kai, Jay, Cole, Nya, Geoff, Gewuji, Maggie and Blake, all wearing new gis, in ice blocks with only Jay and Maggie's heads not covered before they suddenly wake up. "Zane!" Jay said. "Wake up, Zane!"
"Cole's about to beat your high score." Maggie said.
Zane shook his head before opening his eyes and sits up. The whole thing was a dream. As he breathed heavily, he soon noticed Jay and Maggie, on each side of his bed, making him gasp out of surprise. "Jay." Zane said before looking to his right. "Maggie." He soon gets off by the left side. "I just had a terrible nightmare."
"Oh, we're afraid it's not a dream, Zane." Jay replied, not understanding what he meant. "It's real."
"Yeah, Cole's about to beat your high score!" Maggie said, coming up behind Zane to drag him out.
"Not that." He replied, making her let go. "I had a nightmare, something terrible's going to happen. There was an evil serpent with a weapon, and it zapped me with it, and there was an ice castle, and a dragon, and... and..."
Jay soon shushes him. "Relax, Zane." He said. "It was just a dream."
Zane soon backed away from them. "It was a vision."
"Zane, when was the last time one of your visions actually came true?" Maggie asked, disbelieving him.
"'All' of my visions have come true."
"Uh, like which?" Jay asked.
"Like the vision about the Titanium Dragon."
"Well, this is different." Maggie said, grabbing hold of him while Jay opens the door. "Now, seriously, Cole is about to beat your Lava Zombie score, and we don't wanna miss it. So, come on." Jay soon took off as Maggie tried to drag Zane out before he complies.
There was a pool table, two couches, a few beanbags, many pizza boxes, half-eaten junk food, soda bottles, empty, half-empty, or full boxes of fruit, and cigarette butts all over the living room as Lloyd, Kai and Cole were on the couch facing the TV, Nya and Geoff, who had a cigarette in his mouth before taking it out to blow out some smoke, were behind the couch with Nya standing on a box to get a better view, Gewuji, who had her dreadlocks tied back and was now wearing a teal gi, sucks on a lollipop while sitting on a beanbag. Blake, who no longer has glasses and was back to wearing contact lenses, had sunglasses on his head as well as a bandolier with a small pouch on the side over his shoulder. He was sitting on the floor, eating out of a big bag of chips. Cole was wearing a guzzler hat with a soda bottle in each cup holder. Everyone was watching Cole as he played a video game on the TV. "Get the guy on the left!" Lloyd said to him while pointing at the TV. Cole complies and the player strikes the enemy as another comes up from behind.
"Look out!" Geoff yelled, pointing at the TV with his cigarette. Cole takes the warning and turns to have the player hit the enemy, knocking it down, followed by two others.
"Cole, you're on fi-yah!" Kai yelled.
Cole soon had the player hit the final enemy before the player raises his weapon, and the words, 'You Win' appeared on the screen. Nya and Gewuji soon whooped. "You did it!" Nya said.
Everyone soon cheered for Cole's victory. "That was awesome!" Blake said, raising his arms, and some chips fly out of the bag and onto the floor.
Cole soon whooped. "Lava Zombie King!" He declared himself.
Everyone resumes cheering as the doors open, revealing Jay, Zane and Maggie. Jay and Maggie were immediately dumbfounded. "Aw, man." Jay said. "We missed it."
"All because someone nearly tripped on a box of baby items." Maggie sarcastically replied.
"Congratulations, Cole." Zane simply said. "That is quite an achievement."
"Thanks, buddy." Cole replied. "No hard feelings?"
"Of course not."
"Ah, good." He starts to rub his right arm. "Because my arm is pretty sore."
"My ass is sore from sitting on the floor." Blake said, getting up and dropping the bag, spilling more chips out.
"I'm sore just from watching." Nya said.
"Know what I'm thinking?" Kai asked, with everyone thinking the same thing.
Kai and Cole jump off the couch with Cole landing on top of the table, Nya jumping backwards onto the pool table, Geoff jumping back, Gewuji and Maggie jumping onto the couch, as they all raise immediately raise their arms in the air. "HOT TUB!" They all yell.
Several minutes later, they were all outside, in a hot tub, wearing swimsuits to show them now having sagging waists. Lloyd was wearing green swim shorts with shurikens on them, Kai had red ones with a flame design, Jay had a light blue and dark blue striped sleeveless swim shirt and swim shorts of the same design, Zane was in a black long sleeved and short legged wetsuit with blue highlights, Cole, still wearing his guzzler hat, had black swim shorts with a ground design on them, Nya had a grey one piece swimsuit, Geoff, with a fresh cigarette in his hand, had yellow swim shorts with a beach design on them with a wave in progress, Gewuji, with a lollipop in hand, had a sea blue bikini and a swimming cap for her dreadlocks, Maggie had a tan one piece swimsuit, and Blake, with his sunglasses over his head, had a silver long sleeved and short legged wetsuit with pink highlights. The boys, Gewuji and Maggie were already in before Nya jumps in from the ladder. "Kai, a little heat, please?" She asked.
"But of course." Kai replied before he holds up his hand, igniting it, which Geoff quickly moved his cigarette to it so that he could light it before Kai moved the flame into the water, making it sizzle and steam starts coming out, making them giggle before they sigh out of relief.
Cole soon took a big sip from his guzzler. "This is the life." He said.
Kai soon stretches himself while exhaling. "We earned it, pal."
"Not a single villain sighted at all." Geoff said before moving his elbows over the edge and takes a puff of his cigarette. "So, we can always relax."
"Totally." Blake said as he lowers his sunglasses on over his eyes.
"Fighting all those bad guys, saving Ninjago." Gewuji replied, sucking her lollipop.
Banging was soon heard, making them all gasp and look up to see a completely infuriated Dragon, who was wearing a new kimono and a cape, had sideburns added to his beard, and a braided ponytail, standing on the plank, at the top of the ladder. "I can't believe we're back to this." He said, trying to keep calm.
A weird sound soon went off, making Dragon turn to glare at Maggie, who actually passed gas in the tub. "What?" She asked, trying to act innocent.
Cirrus soon came up behind him. Her hair was cut a little shorter, and her baby bump had grown bigger and looked like she was due any day now. "I wanted to warn you guys, but I guess I was too late." She said. She was wearing a silver and pink muumuu with the lining done in triangles and white tennis shoes.
"Don't worry, babe, it isn't your fault." Blake replied.
"After every big victory, you get lazy." Dragon said. "Complacent. Careless."
Cole takes a sip from his guzzler. "Uh, that is not true." Kai replied.
"We're recovering." Cole said, stretching an arm.
"We're resting our muscles." Geoff said.
"It was 5 months ago." Dragon replied, referring to the Yether Age clan battle.
"Months?" Nya asked.
"Really?" Gewuji asked.
"Oh, well, who's counting?" Kai asked.
"I am!" Dragon replied.
"Are you sure?" Blake asked.
"Yes." Dragon bangs his staff on the plank before immediately pointing at Cirrus' baby bump with it, unintentionally jabbing her, making her hiss a bit and glares at him. "Cirrus' germination proves it." He then looked closely at them before turning to Lloyd, who was relaxing with his hands behind his head. "Look at yourselves." He starts jabbing Lloyd's body, scaring him. "You've gone soft." Kai takes a sip of his soda while Cole leans over the edge to grab a cake. "You do nothing all day but play video games, eat cake." Dragon hits the cake out of Cole's hand with his staff, knocking it into the water, causing him to glare at him before turning to Geoff, who takes a puff of his cigarette. "Smoke cigarettes!" Dragon strikes Geoff's mouth with his staff, making him cough from inhaling some smoke, and loses his cigarette, which lands in the water, immediately extinguishing, causing him to frown as Gewuji took out her lollipop from her mouth. "Suck lollipops!" Dragon strikes the lollipop out of her hand, causing it to sink into the water. "Waste money on useless items!" Dragon strikes Blake's sunglasses, knocking them off of him, and they're sent flying down the mountain to its certain destruction. What Dragon was unaware of is that most of the 'useless items' were some baby essentials for Cirrus' unborn child. "And soak in this... This..." He tries to find the word.
Cole looks around the hot tub while sipping his guzzler. "Hot tub?" He asked.
The questioning reply immediately made Dragon frustrated. "It's not a hot tub!" He soon lowered his head while holding his staff with two hands, heartbroken. "It's the sacred Bell of Divinity." He soon became angered again. "Out! Out! All of you!" This immediately got the Ninja to argue in objection before Dragon bangs his staff on the plank, silencing them. "Emergency meeting in the monastery. In three minutes!" He soon walks away, passing by a completely vexatious Cirrus, who glares at him as he left.
