A small fire burned dully in the center of the cave Recoom had carved for them. Cave was really such a generous term, in reality it was more of an in-cropping in the rock just large enough to cover their heads during the downpour that had suddenly started around them. Most of the men looked as if they were on the verge of becoming zombies, doubled over and moaning as they were.

"Why did I want to be immortal, I just want to die!" Sobbed Burter as he clutched his stomach and vomited black blood once again.

The villains whom had ingested Recoom's found meal lay in various states of unrest on the rock floor as they tried to absorb as much of the precariously flickering fire as they could. The only one unaffected being the prideful Cell, whom had no reason to eat, and therefore did not have the misfortune to eat the poisoned berries. The firelight danced over his figure, throwing his face into sharp contrast, and shading his eyes almost to nonexistence.

"I am going to kill you…once I'm done dying." Burter growled from his squatting position in the cavern where his blue hide seemed black in his position so far from the fire. Cell covered his nose as another slosh of black liquid exited from Burter's rear. As much as he reveled in their agony, this was disgusting. The android stepped out from under the outcropping of rock to brave the rain rather than endure the stink and sick. Recoom stuck out a green berry-stained tongue at the blue giant, said giant attempted to shoot to his feet in outrage, only to double over and fall upon his face, luckily not in either of the piles of sludge he had created.

"Damn…Recoom where did you find those berries." Frieza hissed between breaths. Luckily the Ice-Jinn had avoided the bloody vomit and Diarrhea that plagued the unfortunate Burter, but that did not mean that the feelings of his insides melting and re-forming was not pure misery.

"Near a bunch of bone-shaped sticks." Recoom answered as he held back another hiccup. The sludge coated the inside of his throat but he swallowed it back down.

"Those were bones you imbecile!" Screeched a non-too-happy Frieza before doubling over once more. The men settled down to try and sleep off their misery, if Frieza were in any less pain he would teach Recoom a real lesson, but he had not the energy for a battle. Above them Ices perched in the darkness, still cloaking her energy, and watched with slightly glowing violet eyes from her own crevice in the cliff and out of the rain.

The fools would indeed be dead were they not immortal, for she could feel the agony creeping through their connections and flowing into her own soul. Luckily, or perhaps not so luckily, they were indeed immortal and would simply have to suffer the pain of death without the relief of actually dying until their bodies finally flushed out the toxins. Her eyes found Cell where he stood under a tree not too far from where she perched and narrowed with irritation. Out of all the males she was sure he was the one this event was meant for, yet somehow he had stayed just beyond karma's grasping fingers.

Ices contemplated healing the buffoons, but soon thought against it. Perhaps she was a bit sadistic, but she thought the children deserved this lesson for taking her charity for granted. Indeed she had hunted for them, transported them and removed her own scales to sell for their comfort and not one word of thanks had been uttered. In fact, the very opposite of thanks had happened, Cell actually punished her for no reason other than following her very powerful instincts.

Whether or not she healed them, her honor would not allow her to leave the powerful males defenseless. Her earlier mentioned instincts had been stirring these last few hours and warned her of a new danger coming their way. She could not feel it in her rifts as of yet, but a balance in the universe had shifted and she had a feeling that her maybe death-wish was closer than ever to being granted.

"Have you been watching us this whole time?" Cell said suddenly. He had just pinpointed her location and was now staring up at her. The dragoness froze and prepared to flee, but weighed her options first. It was likely that the Android would out-speed her and severely punish her for trying to escape, so she kept her ground and settled for staying silent. "I'm sure you've had many opportunities to escape today, yet here you are." His eye sparkled with a knowing light, "perhaps you long for punishment."

Ices stubbornly kept her eyes trained away from the android as she answered. "I came when I sensed their discomfort." She said in reply. She could feel the creations stare boring into her and reluctantly met his gaze, only to jump back against the rock wall in surprise, as he was a mere inch from her face. Her tail twitched uncomfortably as Cell came close once again.

The first thing he noticed was that she was nude, and then he recalled blasting the torn remnants of what must have once been clothing with that rock she had been lounging so peacefully on. She did not seem too upset by it, indeed she acted exactly as she would while clothed. The second thing he noticed was that while her breasts might be small their perfect teardrop shape and small areola's, hardened in the cool night air, were definitely not as boring as he would have expected. Their shape was nice, and he wondered what she would do if he pinched one of those tantalizing nubs and yanked on it.

Once again she seemed to sense his want to harm her, and growled at him in warning.

"I've been doing some thinking." The android started.

"Don't hurt yourself." The dragoness shot, only to pipe down from a look.

"I've got some theories, regarding you." He leaned in close and put his arms out to pin her against the rockface, should she decide she wanted to pull that vanishing trick once again. "You are a dragon. You grant wishes. This reminds me of something that I've heard mentioned a time or two before. There is a dragon on Earth. They call him the Eternal Dragon, and he grants wishes." He grinned as he pressed his luck and lowered his face so his lips brushed her ear. "Any relation?"

Ices froze as his less-than innocent gesture sent a spark of shock through her system and she took in a deep breath to steady herself before answering. "Shenron is my father."

"So you are a half-breed then?" He seemed a bit amused, likely wondering how the dragon would copulate with a human. He'd never seen it himself, but he had heard it was enormous.

"Yes and no." She started hesitantly, though he sensed she was trying to put it in terms he would understand, and not hesitant about telling her story to him. "My mother was a dragon from a below-dimension. She was spawned from the elements of fire and darkness. So while I am a hybrid, I am still a full dragon."

"And yet you look so human." He prompted.

"A thirty foot reptile tends to attract a lot of attention." She huffed, a bit of smoke emitting from her nose, "I try to keep a low-profile." The android did not answer immediately. Instead he took her chin roughly between his thumb and forefinger and turned her head from side to side to thoroughly inspect her. His lips were nearly brushing her own by the time he spoke.

"To avoid those who pursue you." He filled in the blanks before his eyes hardened and his grip tightened a bit. "Those buffoons are no match for me." His eyes brightened as he pinned her hard against the sharp rocks. She yelped a bit at the edges that cut into her skin but dared not move lest it set the android off once more. "You should be concentrating that concern on what I will do with you." The construct pushed away from her suddenly, and he looked for all the world like a smug cat as he levitated down to the ground and strutted back to his tree.

Ices rubbed her sore jaw, though luckily it would not bruise, and thought about what he had said. She should concentrate her concern on him? She eyed him wearily and wondered, not for the first time, what exactly the sadistic creature wanted with her.
