Cell stood over the body of a civilian that had the misfortune of running across his path. It had lasted longer than he had anticipated and he felt satisfied for the first time since that infernal dragon had cursed him. Having found a glimmer of inner peace at last the android closed his eyes and let his energy expand as he took in the goings-on on this planet.

Most of the soldiers were within the sacked city doing who-knew-what, Burter and Jaice, however, had slunk back to Frieza's ship. He cared little what they were up to. He could sense Frieza plotting alone in his new office and King Cold entertaining several energy signals a floor below.

The one he was trying not to think about was frolicking in the sky on the uninhabited side of this planet like a damn child.

'Good. I hope she stays there. Far from me.' He thought bitterly. He had been perfect before she introduced damn hormones into him. Suddenly Cell stiffened as several new energy signals popped into existence. After the moment of shock he cursed soundly. Those bastards were back, and the army couldn't have been caught with their pants any lower.

Of course the Android was the first on the scene. His blood raged in his veins as a new lust, lust for battle, reared its head. The Ginyu soldiers were not far behind him, sans their still very mortal captain, and Frieza and King Cold seemed conspicuously absent.

Goku, Vegeta, Gohan and Piccolo stood across from them, having been transported via instant transmission. The two sides exploded towards one another. The ginyu force was knocked down rather easily, but with the help of the regenerative capabilities and immortality gifted to them by Ices they were able to get up time and time again, much to Vegeta's frustration and Goku's confusion. Gohan and Piccolo stood back, eyeing Cell who eyed them right back. He had not yet jumped into the fray, though he knew he could take the idle pair easily enough. Thanks to his own Saiyan DNA his power had increased exponentially with his death and resurrection. Still, he knew that either of the pair of full-blooded saiyans would overcome him.

The green time-toad hadn't even had time to draw breath before he was knocked to the ground and out cold. Cell grinned at the adult Gohan. He hadn't forgotten the humiliation of being defeated by the half-breed, and he was much looking forward to repaying the favor. He launched himself at his target.

The fight was not easy, but if it had been he supposed it wouldn't have been worth it in the first place. Vegeta knocked Recoome out of the sky once again and there was a sickening crunch as the soldiers neck was broken by the blow to the face and his head twisted 360 degrees.

"One down." Vegeta smirked as the soldier fell to the hard earth, only for his smug look to morph into one of disbelief as the soldier sat up and tested his now healed neck. Perhaps the soldiers were not able to be killed, but their energy was slowly dwindling. Their injuries were healing more slowly than usual and some of them spouted busted lips and swollen eyes. Burter bled from a large wound on his side that normally would have been fatal, and bruises littered all of them.

Opposed to them were the nearly unscathed saiyans, and Cell bitterly laughed to himself. It was clear who the victors would be at this rate. In a fit of rage Vegeta knocked the remaining two Ginyu from the sky and began powering up an attack. As he was gathering the energy a wall of roaring flames cut between the one-time prince and his quarry, the heat of which caused him to back off and throw his hands up to his face as his hair fizzled from the blistering heat. The battles paused as Ices appeared between the two saiyans and the Ginyu soldiers. Her body coiled protectively around the injured Ginyu force, and she bared her fangs at the interlopers.

Something inside of Cell bristled at the picture before him, and he promised himself that he would punish her soundly later.

"Leave us be." She snarled from her position close to the ground, smoke still rose from her nostrils and mouth, and the light of another fire lit the inside of her mouth in warning when Piccolo took a step forward.

"We're only here for the criminals." His gaze was hard as he spoke, "hand them over and we'll go." Ices hissed in displeasure, but the fire that had appeared within her maw had dimmed.

"Don't be stupid, dragon, " Vegeta spat, "They're going back to Hell one way or another."

"You'll have to kill me first." She growled.

"Don't be dramatic." Piccolo scoffed.

"She's being literal, actually." Frieza had finally decided to show up, and he smirked down at all of them. "We're immortal now." Almost as if to give his words merit the downed soldiers stood up smirking and nearly pristine now that their injuries had gotten time to heal.

"You? But how is that possible!?" Goku shouted, anger and surprise as well as anxiety mixed in his voice. The dragoness snorted in contempt, she knew that the hero of Earth was very well acquainted with her father, but it wasn't surprising that Father had never told him of her. She was a disgraceful half-breed, after all. The females jaws snapped together with an angry sound.

She wasn't going to answer. Luckily for the Z fighters, Piccolo could take it from there.

"She's the daughter of the Eternal Dragon." The Namekian snorted, eyeing her wearily. "Bred long before Kami and the dragon made a pact through the Dragon Balls." Can't say I'm surprised that they don't know of her, the Eternal Dragon never was much for letting others know what they didn't need to. Hell if it weren't for Kami I wouldn't even know she existed.

"…So she grants wishes, does she?" Vegeta's mind whirred as he pieced together her earlier story. She had granted them the wish of everlasting life… he could have her grant him whatever he wanted! Immortality, invincibility, ultimate power! They would all be his. Finally he spoke to her,"Grant me a wish."

Tension filled the air from both sides of the battlefield as the dragoness' eyes narrowed, as her ivory fangs were exposed in simmering anger.

"No." Her tail twitched expectantly as if she were waiting for a reaction. The villains were surprised to say the least, it was the first time she had flatly refused anyone, not even that humanoid that had threatened her life had received such straightforward rejection. Needless to say, Vegeta bristled.

How dare she refuse me!? Out of all those scum I am more than worthy to receive her wish! He launched himself towards them only to be intercepted by Jaice who was severely punished by the one time prince. Piccolo knew that they wouldn't be able to kill Ices, and so he had gone forward as well to distract the dragoness and pull her away from the villains she guarded. His ploy worked and she moved forward to meet him in battle only to receive a hard full-body attack from the namekian.

The blow delivered to her underside wounded her and she backed off to catch her breath, but his plan hadn't quite worked, her body was still between a majority of their targets and themselves. Her crest flattened and she hissed angrily at her one-time comrade.

"We don't need to be babied." Burter growled. His connection, like the others, buzzed with anger. She growled softly, but made no move to oppose him. Their wounds had healed, and their connections no longer ached of near-death. The Ginyu soldiers charged a smirking Vegeta once more.

In a flash he had gone super sayian and a blast disintegrated the three soldiers that had charged him.

The sudden searing pain fed through three connections at once floored the dragons and her serpentine body writhed on the ground as she squealed in pain. Freiza paid no heed from where he had been keeping up his fight with Goku, his training apparently having paid off, but the shrill noise had not been unheeded by the aforementioned Saiyan. His eyes were drawn to what had happened during a lull in his fight and his stomach flipped as he realized that Vegeta may have gone a tad bit overboard.

Where the three who were vaporized had been were pale outlines, the ghost-like silhouettes grew brighter as the soldiers began to materialize. Ices had stilled on the ground, her eyes closed tight as she panted in the dirt while the reconstruction of these males siphoned her magic and left her helpless until the process was completed.

"Immortal indeed." Piccolo scowled. Ices made a noise between a snarl and a scoff, did he think that she was lying? Slowly her strength returned to her and she stumbled quickly to her feet. Her wings flared for balance as she arched her neck in challenge at Piccolo. He pursed his lips as he turned to observe the chaos above.

The only one who seemed to be struggling with their quarry was Gohan, who was looking worse for the wear while Cell toyed with him.

"This isn't going to work." Piccolo called out to his comrades from the ground, "We need another tactic." Goku and Vegeta backed off reluctantly, while Gohan seemed relieved to abandon his fight. Surprisingly enough Cell and Frieza let their opponents go as they touched down a ways from the still panting Dragoness and newly renewed soldiers.

Vegeta scowled at the dragon before smirking and launching a sudden attack at her. The blast hit squarely, as the Super Saiyan had put all his speed behind it and when the smoke cleared Ices stood with her wings spread in front of the villains, whom she had assumed the attack had been meant for. Blood dripped freely from a gaping hole in her chest, through which they could see a corner of her still beating heart and her lungs as she inhaled. The lungs glowed as she inhaled deeply and fire appeared at the back of her throat as a sickening squelching noise began as wires of tissue and bone began to re-knit themselves as she belched a lungful of flame in retaliation to the unwarranted attack.

The heroes scattered easily enough but Ices did not let them leave her sight as blood dripped steadily from her mouth. While she bled from the mouth, however, her original wound seemed non-existent.
