It was a dark, stormy night in a remote sector of the planet not terribly far from the Autobot base but not to close to it ether. Most humans that were watching the sky that night merely saw what looked like a meteorite that was crashing to earth, but since it was heading towards an uninhabited area, there was little reason to warn others about it.
Once the metallic case hit the ground, it cracked open. And what no one saw was a strange beast bot emerged from the metallic case and moved away from it. The beast bot didn't know where it was or what planet it was on, but it knew that it needed to hide, as if there were any Transformers on this planet, they would detect its spark now that it was awake.
In the Autobot base, an alert went off, sending a strange signal to the equipment Ratchet was trying to keep working. Optimus noticed something was off. "Ratchet, what is going on?" Optimus asked.
"I am not sure, Optimus. A strange reading is coming from a remote sector far from humans, but not to far from here" Ratchet replied.
"What kind of reading?" Arcee asked, not understanding.
"Well, it appears Cybertronian, but my computers do not recognize it" Ratchet replied, trying to use the broken down equipment he had to search it. "We may want to contact agent Fowler to make the area off limits, as we don't know if this Cybertronian reading is safe or not."
"What's going on?" Miko asked, having been only paying half attention to what was going on, much to the annoyance of most in the base.
"Haven't you been paying attention? They think they have found something new that is Cybertronian but they are not sure if it is safe to be here" Jack replied, sick of Meeko never paying attention. Ratchet, if he could have, would have rolled his optics at the young human female.
"Well, whatever it is, we must find it or the cons will exploit whatever it is" Optimus stated and the rest agreed. And the Autotbots had a sneaking feeling that they were not the only ones who had detected this strange new object. The question was could they find this new object before the cons.
