"I want to see my wife!" Sirius demanded. "I want to see my wife and daughter!" He pleaded as the Dementors were dragging him from the room. "Please! Just let me see them!"
"Xenia was killed the same night that James and Lily Potter were murdered." The Auror told him.
"Erin! No! Let me see my daughter!" He begged, even though his heart was almost bursting with the pain of knowing his wife was dead. He didn't even need to ask who had done, he knew, he knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that Voldemort had done this. That Voldemort had taken everything from him in one fell swoop. James and Lily were gone, Peter betraying them, the stinking coward! And now he found out that he had betrayed him as well, betrayed him and his beloved…Harry…Erin…were they safe now? Were they safe from Voldemort's lackeys? Would they try to hurt them? Were they safe? Had Remus gotten to his baby girl in time? Was she safe? Oh, please, God, let her be safe! "Where's my daughter? Where's Erin? Let me see her?" A fresh will of fight went into him. "I want my daughter!" He yelled. The Dementors were draining him, but the thought wasn't a good one, they couldn't drain it. She wasn't safe! Who knew what they would do to her. An inhuman strength possessed him and Aurors were running into the room shooting spells at him to stop his fighting. "Give me my daughter!" He howled launching himself at the Aurors. "Give me my daughter, now!"
Mad-Eye Moody slammed into the room. "Sirius! Calm yourself!" He commanded the man dodging spells left and right.
"Alastor, I need to know she's safe, please!" Sirius begged grabbing a hold of him.
"She's alive, Sirius, He didn't kill her. I swear to you, he didn't." Moody didn't look like he wanted this to happen. It wasn't right, Sirius would never turn on James and Lily, never turn on Xenia or Erin. He loved them more than life itself, loved them enough to kill for them certainly, but never James or Lily. Sirius would kill Albus first…but not James and Lily. Alastor hated to do this. "You're going to Azkaban, Sirius. Crouch already decreed it."
"Without a trial??" Sirius yelled. "He can't!"
"He can and his is." Moody told him. "There's nothing I can do. The evidence is overwhelming. Albus can't even face you because he gave evidence against you! There's not hope for it, lad, everyone thinks you guilty of betraying Lily and James to Him and for killing Peter Pettigrew."
"But you know better, Alastor, you know better."
"I do, Sirius, but I can do nothing." They dragged him away. "I can do nothing, boy, I'm sorry!"
"Don't let anything happen to her!" He yelled as the Dementors dragged him off. "They'll go after her! I know they will! Make sure she's safe! Don't let them get at her!"
He didn't say anything just shook his head as Sirius was hauled away. The man had gone crazy. Voldemort was gone, the Death Eaters were scattered, and leaderless… there was no one to hurt Erin, no one at all.
