Disclaimer: Still don't own the Power Rangers. It would be nice, though.

A/N: This is a revised version of my previous story, Golden Dreams. Some of it will be the same, some of it will be different. Let me know what you think. This story starts around the end of May.

The sky was sunny, the temperature warm, outside the temple on the planet Phaedos. A very pretty young girl stepped out into the sunshine, pulling her long dark hair into a ponytail as she gazed up at the sky. She was tall and slim, with hazel eyes and a light complexion. She gave a little sigh and walked further from the temple, wondering what today held for her. She had been here for a week, getting to know her birth parents and starting her training. Things were not going well. She stretched and began to loosen her muscles as her mind focused on getting her body ready for more training.

Dulcea, the ninjett master walked out of the temple, glancing over at the young girl and smiling softly. She had been surprised by the news that this pretty young girl had turned out to be her daughter, having no memory of her. She wished she had known about Amanda from the start but couldn't hold it against the elders for keeping her identity a secret. It seemed that her family was destined to hold many secrets, all for a good reason. Her two children had huge destinies in front of them.

Zordon walked to the entrance of the temple, looking over at Dulcea as she stood and watched their daughter stretch out her muscles. He could feel the frustration from their daughter and a thought came to him. He turned and reentered the temple, going to the communications room and walking over to the viewing globe. He was going to ask his son for his help, hoping he had the time.

Dimitria turned to the viewing globe, surprised to find Zordon there. "Zordon? How can I help you?"

"I need to get in touch with Jason," Zordon answered. "I think he needs to come to Phaedos and help Amanda. She is getting frustrated as things are not going as well as we hoped. Could you contact him for me?"

Dimitria looked to her left as someone walked over to stand next to her. "Why don't you ask him yourself?"

Jason approached the viewing globe, looking at his father. "What exactly is wrong, father," Jason asked. "How can I help?"

"Amanda is not doing well with her training," Zordon explained. "Eric and Randy are getting frustrated as well. I thought maybe having you here would help. Do you think you could come to Phaedos?"

Jason looked at Zordon, thinking before answering him. "I can spare a couple of days," he stated. "I would have to be back here by Friday. We go to settlement on the ranch that day. Would three days be enough?"

Zordon nodded. "Three days would be enough, I'm sure. So, we'll see you tomorrow?"

Jason nodded. "I'll be there first thing. Don't tell her I'm coming. She might be more receptive if I just show up."

Zordon nodded. "All right, son. See you tomorrow." His face faded from the viewing globe.

Jason turned to Dimitria. "If you find anything about the buildup of the alliance of evil, please let me know," he requested. "If the rangers need me just let Ninjor know. I'll come back right away."

Dimitria smiled at him. "Don't worry, Jason," she answered. "Go help your sister. If I find anything, I will let you know."

Jason nodded and teleported out of the power chamber.

Kim walked into the kitchen, grabbing a bottle of water as she heard a car pull up outside. She glanced at the clock on the wall, smiling. Jason was right on time. She put the water bottle back and headed out of the kitchen towards the front door.

Jason smiled at Kim as he walked up the steps to her front porch. "Hey, babe," he greeted, putting his arms around her waist. "You look really nice. Going somewhere special?"

Kim smiled at him, putting her hands on his chest. "Going to see the wedding venue with the love of my life," she replied. She lifted her face, pressing her lips against his in a gentle kiss. She pulled back after a few seconds, looking at his face. "What's going on, Jason? Is something bothering you? You seem a little tense."

Jason sighed as he moved back from her. "I'm a little worried," he said quietly. "I think the alliance of evil is up to something. I've asked Dimitria to look into it." He smiled as he met Kim's eyes. "Until I know what is up, I'm not going to let it get to me." He pulled her back to him, lowering his head and giving her a kiss. Jason pulled back after a few seconds. "We'd better get going. We don't want to be late."

Kim smiled at him as his arms slipped around her shoulders. She wrapped her arms around his waist, and they walked down the steps and towards the car. "I don't think you have ever been late for an appointment, Jason. You make me sick sometimes."

Jason chuckled as they got to his car. "I was kind of hoping I might wear off on you," he joked as he opened the door for her. "Maybe make you move a little faster sometimes."

Kim shook her head as she got into the car. "Don't count on it, Scott," she quipped. "I like taking my time." She let him close the door for her and waited until he came around to get in his side. She put her seat belt on as Jason climbed into the car. "What else is on your mind? I know you want to tell me something."

Jason sighed as he closed his door and started the car. He glanced at her as he buckled his seat belt. "I need to go to Phaedos for the next three days," he said. He put the car in drive and pulled away from the sidewalk, heading for the city as he continued. "Mandy is having trouble with her powers and Zordon thought I might be able to help." He glanced at her from the corner of his eye. "I hope that is okay."

Kim smiled at him and put her hand on his arm. "That's fine, Jason," she said. "I don't have anything planned for us until two weeks from now. Besides, that will give me time to go shopping for a wedding dress. That is something you can't help me with."

Jason grinned at he joined the traffic in the city. "I don't do the mall, Kim," he said as he headed for the beach area. "So that is not a problem for me." He looked at her as he stopped at a red light, his eyes mischievous. "How sexy is it going to be?"

Kim gave him a mock frown, hitting his arm lightly. "It won't be," she gasped. "Get your mind out of the gutter, Scott."

Jason gave a little laugh as he pulled through the intersection. "I can hope, can't I?"

Kim laughed in spite of herself. "You are hopeless, you know that?" She turned her attention to the traffic. "Just get us to the hotel so we can see this place. I think it will be perfect for the wedding."

On a dark planet, far removed from earth, stood a dark castle. Evil seemed to surround it, seeming to seep from the walls. It even seemed to hang in the air all around it. Inside the throne room stood a beautiful woman, her build tall and shapely. She had long dark hair that framed her face. She had a cruel look in her dark eyes, taking some of the beauty away from her. She was in a foul mood as she looked into the viewing globe in her room. She was scanning earth, looking for someone in particular. She scowled and turned away from the globe as she failed to locate who she was looking for. She looked up as someone entered the throne room.

The figure who walked into the throne room was massive. Huge muscles bulged against the uniform he was wearing. His dark hair was pulled back into a ponytail, showing off his handsome face. He was a very imposing figure and he towered over the woman, standing at 7 feet in height. Surprisingly, he knelt before the woman, bowing his head.

The woman looked at him for a few seconds, then spoke, her voice stern. "You haven't found her, have you, Alphonse," she stated rather than asked.

Alphonse looked up at the woman, anger in his eyes. "It is like she disappeared, my queen," he answered. "I have searched everywhere."

"You may rise" she instructed, turning to gaze at the viewer again. "I need you to go to earth. I have a feeling that she may turn up in Angel Grove, looking for Zordon's son. Wait for her and, if nothing else, put a spell on her to make her memories disappear. She will not spoil our plans."

Alphonse rose to his full height. "I will do as you command, my queen," he snarled. "She will not reach Zordon's son with her memories. I guarantee it." He turned and left the throne room, determined to follow his queen's orders.

The woman turned back to the viewing globe, looking at the city of Angel Grove. "Where are you, Natalia," she asked. "I know you haven't just disappeared. I won't let you stop me, daughter. Count on that."

Jason stood on the beach, looking at the archway that stood close to the water. He turned as Kim walked up to him. "I think this will be perfect," he said as he put his arm around her shoulders. He smiled down at her. "No matter what dress you pick, you will look perfect standing up there. You're beautiful Kim. I can't wait to be married to you and start our lives together."

Kim smiled up at him, her arm slipping around his waist. "I can't believe that in 6 months I am going to marry the most handsome man in Angel Grove," she replied softly. "I can't wait to see you in a tux, Jason." She grinned at him. "Tie and all."

Jason shook his head, turning her to face him. "Only for the wedding," he grinned. "After all of the pictures are done, it comes off." He leaned down and gave her a gentle kiss. "What do you say we check out the ballroom for the reception? That way, people won't have to travel."

Kim smiled at him and nodded. "I think that is a great idea." She reached up, her hand cupping his face gently. "Tie or no tie, you will look great. And I will be the envy of every girl in Angel Grove. I get to marry you, Jason. I can't wait."

Jason smiled at her, turning her and guiding her back into the hotel. "Let's get this business done," he said. "I want to spend some time alone with you before I have to leave."

An hour later, Jason and Kim sat in the manager's office. Jason wrote out two checks, paying the full deposits for the venue and the ballroom.

The manager took the two checks, smiling at the young couple. "I've already put your names in the computer," he said. "The date is reserved for the two of you. Do you have a caterer in mind for the reception, or do you want to use the hotel staff?"

Jason looked at Kim. "What do you think?"

"I'm going to use my aunt Vicky to handle the food," she said. "Her catering business is in full swing. I just have to let her know the date and she will set it up. She is one of our appointments in two weeks. She'll have samples of her menu for us to taste when we meet up with her."

Jason nodded and stood up, holding out his hand. "Thank you for your time, Mr. Jennings," he said. "We'll be in touch."

Kim looked at Jason as they left the hotel, getting into his car. "You don't mind my aunt Vicky doing the catering, do you," she asked as they put their seat belts on. "If you want someone else, just say so."

Jason glanced at her as he started the car. "Your aunt is fine," he said, glancing behind them as he backed the car out of the spot. "I'm actually looking forward to meeting her. I want know as much of your family as possible before the wedding." He pulled them out of the hotel, heading back across town. "Are you hungry? We can stop and get a bite to eat. I would take you back to my apartment, but I don't have much food."

Kim smiled at him. "I could go for a bite to eat," she said. "I don't want you to have to buy food when you are getting ready to move out to the ranch. How about some Italian?"

Jason smiled. "Italian it is." He headed for a local restaurant, relaxing back into his seat.

Alphonse arrived on earth, dressed in clothes that would make him fit in. Even so, he still was an imposing figure. He looked around at the people walking to and fro in the city, his eyes scanning the crowd hoping to spot Natalia. He sighed as he started to walk up the street. This was not going to be an easy task. He decided to start in the local stores and work his way from there. He would find her and stop her from doing any damage to his queen's plans.

Amanda looked at Eric and Randy, feeling frustrated as she seemed to be making little progress. She tightened her shoulders and sent a wave of magic at Eric, frowning as he easily blocked it. She threw her hands up, turning away from them in frustration. "I can't do it," she groaned. "I just can't seem to relax enough to call upon enough power. If I can't get a handle on this, how am I ever going to defend Jason?"

Eric walked up to her, placing a gentle hand on her arm. "You need to relax," he whispered. "Take it easy the rest of the day. We'll come back tomorrow, and you can try it again." He turned her to face him. "I don't know if this will make you feel better, but Jason didn't know how to work his powers at first either. It will take a little more time, but you will get it."

"But Jason's powers are more extensive than mine," she said. "Of course, it would have taken him longer to learn to control them. I only have a fraction of the powers that he does, yet I can't control them. What does that say about me?"

"Yes, Jason has more powers than you," Randy began, "but he also has stubbornness, hotheadedness and bullishness on his side. Maybe that is why it took him almost 6 months to gain complete control of his powers." He paused, grinning at her. "You only have the hot head."

Amanda managed a small grin at Randy. "Thanks. I don't think I'll tell Jason what you said. I don't want him killing anybody." She let out a big sigh. "I'll see you two tomorrow." She turned and headed back into the temple without another word.

Kim looked at all the boxes Jason had piled around the apartment. "Do you even have any clothes left out to pack for three days," she asked.

Jason grinned and nodded. "I left four outfits out for the next four days," he said, making his way to his bedroom. "And I have a laundry bag for the dirty stuff." He entered his bedroom, making his way over to his dresser to get three sets of clothes for the next three days. He grabbed a duffle bag and put the clothes into it, closing it up and setting it near the door.

Kim met him at the door, wrapping her arms around his neck. "We don't have to go right now," she started, "do we?" She began to kiss his neck softly as she pressed her body to him. "We've got a little bit of time, don't you think?"

Jason moaned softly, putting his arms around her back and pulling her tightly against him. "I think we could take a little time." His mouth found hers as he reached up to pull the zipper down on her dress. He continued to kiss her as he pushed the dress off her shoulders, letting it drop to the floor. He broke off the kiss and moved his mouth to her neck, kissing her softly.

Kim let her head fall back, exposing her throat to Jason's mouth, He began to kiss her throat, his touch bringing fire to her skin. She put her head back further as Jason moved his mouth further down her, the fire starting to build inside of her. She pushed Jason back, her hands moving to his shirt as she began to unbutton it.

Jason stood back, looking at Kim as the fire began to build in him. He removed his shirt as she finished, then wrapped his arms around her and lifted her off her feet. He placed her on the bed, moving on top of her as his lips found her mouth once again. They lost track of time as they got lost in each other's arms.

Kim glanced up at Jason as he walked with her up the front steps of her house. "Do you want to come inside," she asked as they got to the front door.

Jason pulled her to him, putting his arms around her waist. "I can't," he stated. "I have to meet with the Realtor in half an hour. He wants to make sure that I have everything together for Friday." He reached up and put his hand under her chin, tilting her head up. "I'll see you after the settlement on Friday?"

Kim nodded, smiling at him. "I will fix you dinner," she said. "Then, we can talk about getting things moved for you." She kissed him, pulling back after a few minutes. "Tell Amanda that I said hi. I hope you can help her."

Jason smiled at her, giving her one last kiss before letting her go. "I'll tell her. See you Friday, Kim. I love you."

"I love you too." She turned and entered the house as Jason headed back to his car.

A/N: That's the end of this chapter. See you next time.
