Okay, so, this is basically an alternate version of my other story 'Bloodspell' but, except for the fact that this is a story about a girl from our world wishing to be in the TVD world and that this girl becomes a siphoner (and she also doesn't remember being anyone but the character she invented), these two stories have nothing else in common, except for the prologues. The prologues are very similar to each other but the rest of the stories will be very different from each other.

My OC - Blair Fell - will be a siphoner and an untriggered werewolf at the beginning of the story, and she will eventually become a tribrid but different from Hope. I was always intrigued with the idea of a siphoner who's also born from a werewolf bloodline, potentially being able to become a tribrid. So this story is the result of that.

Also, this story will have no Bonnie (or any of the Bennet witches for that matter) because Blair replaces Bonnie Bennett. Her name will be Blair Fell (which I won't be using for my other story 'Rising from the Ashes' anymore, obviously).

I hope you like this story. Tell me what you think!

Prologue

Sometimes, when Blair had nothing better to do, she would imagine ways in which she would change her favorite tv shows, movies or books. Not because there was anything wrong with them (well, except for the last season of Game of Thrones, which was almost universally despised) but simply for the fun of it.

One of her favorite TV shows was 'the Vampire Diaries' and though it had more than its shares of problems, especially in the last seasons, it still remained, at least in her humble opinion, one of the best of its genre (not to the level of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer', of course, but which was?). It was certainly iconic.

Personally, what Blair liked best, was the vast and varied world they had created, with its own set of rules and lore. Well, and Damon, naturally. She loved the Originals – well, not Finn, but definitely all the others – but her favorite character has always been and will always be Damon.

While Blair had loved the relationship between Damon and Elena, sometimes she wondered what would have happened if Damon had fallen for someone else, instead of Elena. What would have happened if Damon hadn't spent more than 3 seasons pining after Elena? What if he had fallen for a different girl instead?

And, since she was pathetic like that, she would sometimes imagine what it would be like to be a part of that world and she would spend hours just thinking about what kind of character she would be. Like a video game, what would her avatar be like and look like?

First of all her appearance. Her avatar couldn't look like herself. No, her avatar would look like Amanda Seyfried as she looked in 2009 (like in the movies Chloe, Boogie Woogie or Jennifer's Body – without the glasses obviously).

Her avatar would also have the same age as Elena, Bonnie, Caroline etc. so she would be in the same year as them, as a junior in high school.

Her name would be Blair like her own name. But what about her surname?

After some thinking, she decided on the surname Fell, because she remembered there was a very minor canon character called Blair Fell in the first season of the show. So, Blair would replace this Blair Fell character.

She wanted Blair – her avatar – to be the witch of the story but not a normal witch. She wanted her to be a siphoner and part of the Gemini Coven (but not a Parker, perhaps a Tulle, like Valerie). So, perhaps, Blair Fell could replace the character of Bonnie Bennett as well. She remembered in the books, Damon was sort of in love with the character of Bonnie Mccullough, or at least they had a sort of friendship/romance going between them. So, this would be perfect.

Her maternal grandmother – Sheila – would be the one who taught her magic, like Bonnie's grandmother was the one who taught Bonnie in canon, and she would be the one with Tulle blood and born in the Gemini Coven. She visited Mystic Falls, perhaps because she had friends there, and that's where she met Mr. Wilson, Blair's grandfather. So that was where she decided to stay. Blair's mother's name would be Abby Wilson. (Abby Wilson was Bonnie's mother's name so it made sense to keep the same name).

Blair's father, on the other hand, would be a Fell and the older brother of Meredith Fell (who was terribly unutilized in the show). Her father was aware of the vampires but he wasn't part of the Council (and neither is Meredith part of the Council, she just works as a doctor at Mystic Falls Hospital).

Blair would be descended from Valerie Tulle – who will replace Emily Bennet. Valerie wouldn't be a siphoner like in canon; like Emily in canon, she would be best-friends with Katherine; she wouldn't have a relationship with Stefan, nor would she become pregnant with his child; she also wouldn't have any connection to Julian or Lily at all, in fact.

But, since she always wondered what would happen if a siphoner would be born in a werewolf bloodline, she decided that Blair's paternal grandmother – Blair's father's mother – would come from a line of werewolves called Carson. There was a character called Sue Carson in the books, so she decided to use that surname for Blair's grandmother. Blair's paternal grandmother's name would be Grace Carson. The Carsons would be like the Lockwoods, with the Carson bloodline carrying the werewolf gene.

Blair would therefore be a siphoner and an untriggered werewolf (and her mother would be a witch and her father an untriggered werewolf). Someone like that, if turned into a vampire, could become a tribrid technically, even though different from Hope.

Blair's father would be dead – he died when Blair was young, never having triggered his werewolf curse – while her mother died in childbirth, giving birth to her (Blair killed her mother while in the womb by siphoning off all of her magic and taking it for herself).

Blair would be aware of what she was, both a siphoner and an untriggered werewolf. But she would hate and fear both sides of herself: her siphoner side because she killed her mother with her powers, and her werewolf side because of what she had been told about being a werewolf and that she would need to kill someone to trigger the curse. (But, of course, she would learn to accept what she is eventually and she would be glad to use her powers, her full powers, without fearing them, to help her friends).

Therefore, she would be very careful to not do anything that would trigger the curse and she would not use her siphoning abilities, she would only do magic by siphoning herself – by siphoning her untriggered werewolf side. So, the amount of power she could siphon without killing herself would be very limited (as long as she'd refuse to use her full powers and her werewolf side would remain dormant, of course).

There were other things she had written, three whole pages of them. Blair shook her head. What was the point though? The thing she wanted the most after coming up with such a list, would be to become her avatar – Blair Fell herself. Though, of course, Blair wouldn't want to remember being anyone other than Blair Fell; she wouldn't want to remember that the life she would be living as Blair Fell was, in truth, a TV show. She wouldn't know what was going to happen before it happened. Otherwise, where would be the fun in that? But such a thing wasn't possible so she tried to banish the thought from her mind.

Blair decided to get ready for bed, not noticing the shooting star passing through the night sky outside her window. She went to sleep, not knowing everything would be different for her tomorrow (not that she would realize that anyway).
