Dot: Summer is my favorite time of year, because there's so much to see and do in such a short time. This is a memory book of some of the things I did over the summer.
Here we are on our way to the bech. It was really hot outside that day. Thats my friend Skippy and my two brothers Yakko and Wakko. I took a picture of all of us nd I put my thumb over the lends! I'm gld I learned to swim because it's a good way to cool off. Wakko went snorkeling, while I floted on the raft with Skippy. Wakko found cool sea things like a starfish, sea shell, hermit crab, and a sand dollar. Skippy and Yakko tried to make the world's biggest sandcastle. They even built a moat around it, and filled it with hermit crabs to grud the castle. We went to the amusement oark and rode the bumper cars. Bumper cars are fun, becuase it doesn't hurt to run into the other cars. We just bounced off one and into another! We also rode the roller coaster. I thought it was fun, but Skippy almost got sick. He remembers it the other way around. We also went skateboarding several times durning the summer. It takes a lot of practice, but I finally got the hang of it! On the 4th of July, we went to the park and had a pinic on the grass. We got to stay up late to see the fireworks. They were so cool! The flag is a symbol of freedom. Wakko and I cought butterflies too. My teacher says there are over 17,000 kinds. (We might need bigger nets!!!!) All to fast, thre summer was over and I went back to school. But I had lots of fun memories, and lookes forward to visiting all the plces again soon. Then comes WINTER and here we go again...
