1. Introduction

Welcome to "Her Life and Other Tragedies!"

This story focuses on Carter Winchester, the youngest sibling to Sam and Dean. Carter was the product of a one night stand John had with a woman named Annmarie Jinks, so she is the boys' half sister on their father's side.

When Annmarie died in childbirth, John took custody of Carter and introduced her to a world filled with monsters. Growing up in a hunting family is never easy, but it's made all the better with her brothers, dad, and friends by her side. As she gets older, she has to make the tough decision to keep hunting or pursue a normal life, and the draw to apple pie life is strong. Follow along as Carter navigates this tough world, and learns what it means to be in a family.
