King here and WELCOME to the NEXT adventure of Sly Cooper the half thief, half assassin
Last time, Sly and his team, Bentley the brains, Murray the muscle and Mario the guidance took on each member the Fiendish five, stopped their sinister operations, ended each of them but Panda King, reunited with Neyla the tiger the love of his life and restored the Thievius Raccoonus to its former glory
But now is the time for his second adventure, I give to you ALL

Chapter 1 Walk like an Egyptian
(Cairo, Egypt, Natural history museum, 2 years after the defeat of the Fiendish five)
It had been two years since that fateful day in Russia with Clockwerk, ending the Fiendish five once and for all and reclaiming the stolen pages of the Thievius Raccoonus from their filthy hands but through his struggle, Sly Cooper the half thief, half assassin raccoon reunited with his old friend and love of his life, Neyla, after they found each other again they became pretty much inseparable for the last two years, Neyla eventually joined Bentley, Murray and Mario as a member of the crew, thanks to teachings form both Sly and reading the Thievius Raccoonus along with the intense training that Sly went through with Mario, she turned into a formidable and valued member of the crew, the five were doing well for themselves and things were peaceful, well…for THEM, the same couldn't be said for Carmelita, Neyla's former partner in law-enforcement, it was a shock to see her partner and even her friend choose to side with Sly so easily but then again…love makes people do crazy shit, Neyla had been on several jobs with Sly and his crew for the last two years but they were just the warm-up for what was coming, the gang got the shocking news that the Clockwerk parts on display in a museum in Cairo, Egypt somehow they survived the explosion that Sly delivered to the metal monster and then the dip in the volcano in Russia, fearing his return if they manage to find a way to reassemble all the parts, Sly decided to end the threat of Clockwerk once and for all, so the group put together a plan and after flying to Egypt, Sly broke into the museum to locate the Clockwerk parts and find out a way to destroy them, Sly who was now 30-years of age, he was on point as he parkoured over the rooftops he soon found his way into the museum's main hall and sporting a brand NEW outfit (Okay, bear with me on this description, the torso, legs and feet pieces is like the torso armor of Ryu Hayabusa Black falcon ninja suit with no sleeves to the suit, on the left and right thighs were quivers of his specially made arrows, around the waist was a utility belt with pouches with Sly's assortment of bombs in them, hanging from the shoulders was a black, leather poncho like that of Sasuke Uchiha's poncho from "Boruto" that reached below Sly's knees but also came with a black hood, being held in sleeves on the inside of the poncho were his assortment of darts on the left side of the poncho and on the right were Flechette's, on his left calve was a red side bag, on the left side of his belt was his Rapier sword he took from Raleigh two years ago and finally on the back of his belt was his collapsible bow as for the veil he wore two years ago it was replaced with a mask the mask from "Dishonored")
*Man, Bentley REALLY put a lot of thought into this new suit…feels GREAT* Sly said in his head as he flexed in his new suit, after checking if there was anyone around, he whistled for someone, soon enough Neyla lowered herself down on a thin but strong fiber cable as she hung upside down
"Hello, my handsome raccoon" Neyla said with a wink
"Hello yourself, beautiful tigress" Sly replied before she flipped upright and landed on the ground
"How's the new outfit" Sly asked as he looked over her new outfit that she herself designed (She wore a corset on her torso that left her arms sleeveless and the rest of her torso piece was like that of a leotard leaving her legs exposed, she wore dark brown, thigh-high leather boots, a short-sleeved black leather jacket over her corset, she also had a collection of throwing needles in sleeves on the right side of her right ankle, on the left thigh and on her left and right hip, she had fingerless, leather gloves he also wore her whip around her waist like a belt also her hair had grown longer over the last two years, it was long enough to nearly reach her lower back but was tied in a large ponytail thanks to her red and gold-colored bandana she kept with her since childhood tied in a note in her hair)
"I LOVE it" Neyla answered
"MMMM, I'll say" Sly muttered, Neyla noticed him staring at her hips and legs, her suit hugged her in ALL the right places, over the last two ears thanks to the intense training she went through with Mario and Sly, Neyla's body became lean, fit and VERY muscular (Meaning Neyla has Chun-Li's body type) but none the less beautiful
"See anything you LIKE big boy" Neyla asked
"Even the things I CAN'T see I like" Sly answered before, she then draped her arms around her lover's neck
"Well, if you pay your cards right handsome, you might get something SPECIAL tonight" Neyla said
"And it ain't even my birthday yet" Sly replied before he was contacted by someone via his earpiece to which Neyla could hear thanks to her own earpiece
"To be continued" Neyla said
"You bet your ass on it" Sly said before he slapped Neyla's ass making her giggle before he answered his earpiece, it was Bentley
"Breaker, Alpha, Foxtrot, this is the Wizard, do you read me, Sitting duck and Sleeping tiger" Bentley asked in code
"This is Peaking duck and Leaping tiger and we hear you Blizzard" Sly replied, Neyla giggled a little
"No, Sly, I'm the Wizard and your SITTING DUCK and SLEEPING TIGER" Bentley replied
"We read you loud and clear, LIZARD" Sly replied
"No…I-I'm…forget it, you're not taking this seriously" Bentley replied
"No, I'm not, look Bentley, I know this is your first time out in the field, but loosen up will you" Sly replied
"Sorry, I'm just a little jumpy I guess" Bentley said
"Relax Bentley, all newbies are nervous their first time out in the field, believe me I speak from experience" Neyla said
"Yeah, you'll pick it up in no time but if we're gonna get to those Clockwerk parts, I need you on your toes, so in plain talk, what's your status" Sly asked
"Well, I've established myself in the basement and I'm pretty sure I can rewire the surface elevator, if you can power it up from the security station, near said elevator" Bentley answered
"Hang tight buddy, we'll be there in a second" Sly replied
"Don't forget to use that new Folding-Hook I crafted for you" Bentley said before Sly took his new toy off his right calve it looked like a gold-colored hook with a foot long handle but Sly flung it into the air and the handle extended from a foot long to 4 Ft long, Bentley and Sly got the idea for it when he spotted the designs for it in the Thievius Raccoonus and figured if his father's thieving ancestors could get a lot of usage out of it, then he should as well (The Cooper family cane missed with the Folding sword from "Dishonored" but instead of a blade being foldable it was the wooden rode of the Cooper family cane, making it just as useful as the regular Family cane but is more compact and portable)
"I'll make sure to put it to good usage, Bentley, thanks" Sly replied before hanging up, after he and Neyla quickly ascend to the high ground and he jumped on a huge, skeleton of a prehistoric animal to get to the security station and activated it
"Okay, I splice the wire, OUCH" Sly heard Bentley through the earpieces
"AAH" Neyla nearly shouted as she pulled her earpiece out
"DAMN" Sly grunted, both shook off the shock of having someone yell in their ear before putting the earpieces back in
"Hold on…there it is" Bentley was heard through the earpiece again as the elevator came up to show Bentley sporting a jungle hat and a crossbow
"Welcome to the party" Sly said
"Not exactly my idea of a party but, let me at that security computer" Bentley stated as he moved over to the gate to the next room, behind a security gate was a field of laser security and spotlights while Sly and Neyla kept an eye out for guards, Bentley worked his magic on the nearby terminal, he soon got the spotlights to turn off
"Spotlights off-line" Bentley stated, soon the lasers were turned off as well
"There goes the laser security system, I'm working on the security gate" Bentley stated, after a few seconds, the gate opened
"Presto, all clear" Bentley said
"Why thank you Bentley, it's mighty nice of you to open the door for a lady" Neyla said
"Nice job Bentley, for your first time out in the field, you did pretty well" Sly told Bentley
"Thanks, but this operation is FAR from complete, now that the lasers and spotlights are off-line, Murray should be moving into position for your rendezvous, I'll stay here and provide computer support, while you and Neyla go on ahead" Bentley told Sly and Neyla before the lovers moved on ahead and thanks to Bentley, the security systems were disabled
"UM, attention all guards, this is the network administrator, we're installing some new software into th security mainframe so don't be alarmed if some systems get turned off for a while, um…thank you…you're all doing a…great job" Bentley spoke in a horribly disguised voice but to the surprise of the lovers, it worked
"I can't BELIEVE that worked" Sly said
"Me neither…either these guards are REALLY dumb, or" Neyla was about to say
"Or they just want the night-shift to be over already and don't care whose voice calls them on the speaker" Sly said
"Right" Neyla replied before they both found themselves on a balcony, overlooking the entire grounds of the museum, they were then contacted by Bentley
"Okay, you two, according to my information, the Clockwerk parts are being stored up there, now to get access to it, your both gonna have to meet up with Murray at the rendezvous point, however, the route through the garden is FILLED with guards" Bentley added, Sly then looked to some ropes that would make an excellent opportunity for a shortcut
"Not a problem, we'll just take the long way around" Sly replied before turning to Neyla
"Remember the Raccoon rail walk" Sly asked
"Please, I got it like my first week" Neyla said
"Well then keep up" Sly said before he and Neyla crossed many tight ropes using the Raccoon rail walk, they both ended up at the spot for the rendezvou, but Murray was nowhere to be seen
"Hey Bentley, I thought you said Murray would be here" Sly called over the earpieces
"Yeah, we don't see him anywhere" Neyla added
"He SHOULD be there, I don't get it, did something happen to" Bentley was about to say before
"THUNDER FLOOOOOOP" Murray shouted before he did a belly flop through the upper skylight, Sly pulled Neyla out of his range to the side and Murray landed
"Uh, Bentley…never mind" Neyla said before the lovers hung up
"GREETINGS CITIZEN'S, I hope neither of you were harmed from my meteoropic entrance" Murray said
"N-no Murray, we kept at a safe distance" Sly answered
"GOOD, GOOD, the Thunder flop knows neither friend nor foe, only DESTRUCTION" Murray said
"Yeah, you think you can channel some of that raw energy into the security gate" Sly asked
"Of course, it is NOTHING before…THE MURRAY" Murray said before he turned to the security gate and started lifting it up with his bare hands
"Is he REALLY referring to himself in the third person" Neyla asked Sly
"He's probably been watching too many superhero movies, just…humor him" Sly replied before Murray got the gate open
"OKAY, ALL CLEAR" Murray grunted before Sly and Neyla slipped under the gate, Murray then dropped the gate and joined the lovers as they stood on a balcony and spotted another security gate on the other side of a long rope, connecting where they were standing to the place where the Clockwerk parts were being held
"Another barrier stands before you…FEAR NOT…I shall bend it like the truth" Murray said before he picked up a large flowerpot that was nearby and threw it with such force the barrier on the other side of the rope burst wide open
"SOLID WORK MURRAY" Neyla said
"Yeah, you're really in the zone big guy" Sly added
"My hulking frame is too much for that puny rope, you and Neyla go on ahead and I'll be waiting in the hallway to help you two carry out the Clockwerk parts" Murray said
"And contact Mario, have him warm up the van for a quick getaway" Sly told Murray
"You bet" Murray replied before the two lovers crossed the tight rope and got to the room where the Clockwerk parts were being held…only one problem…the Clockwerk parts were GONE!
"Wait a minute, Bentley said that the parts would be in this wing" Neyla said
"Bentley…the parts, they're…THEY'RE NOT HERE" Sly called into the earpiece
"WHAT" Bentley asked
"They're GONE" Sly answered
"This...THIS IS ALL WRONG, WE NEED TO PULL THE PLUG ON THIS OPERATION RIGHT NOW" Bentley said, then two of the sarcophagi opened to show Carmelita and a new figure the lovers haven't seen before, it was a male, white fox with a red shirt, dark blue leather jacket, light blue pants and light tanned moccasins on his feet
"FREEZE COOPER" Carmelita yelled
"Uh-oh" Neyla muttered
"Inspector Fox as determined to lock me up and…unpredictable as ever" Sly said
"Whereas you crooks are SO predictable, you always return to the scene of the crime" Carmelita told him
"Crime, what crime, I haven't stolen a thing, not even so much as a small coin" He replied
"Oh really, then who broke in last night and made off with all the Clockwerk parts, you got the motive, given your history with him" Carmelita replied, pointing her shock pistol at him
"SOMEONE ALREADY STOLE THE CLOCKWERK PARTS" Sly asked in shock
"Don't you play dumb with me, Sly or you will regret it" Carmelita told him
"Carm, we're honestly shocked, we haven't taken the parts because they were already GONE when we got here" Neyla said
"An honest criminal, that'll be the day" Carmelita said, Sly then took his mask and hood off
"We ARE honest, Carmelita…if you would look past the surface, you would see that" Sly said
"Carmelita, with all due respect, it may not have been Sly, the method of entry and guard casualties all pointed this being a Klaww gang job" The white fox told her
*Klaww Gang* Sly and Neyla asked in their mind
"I'm sorry but WHO are you exactly" Sly asked
"Ah, I haven't had the pleasure of meeting the infamous Talon, the names Nicholas Wilds…friends or colleagues call me Nick though, I'm Carmelita's new partner" Nick introduced himself (And yeah, I modeled this guy off Nick Wilds from Zootopia…so sue me I like Nick Wild's character)
"New partner" Neyla asked
"Not by my choice though, Nick, you may have worked with me for the last year, but your still new to our department and I really didn't need any help with this one" Carmelita said
"Oh, I think you might, look at the facts" Nick told her
"FACTS, Sly is RIGHT HERE, we caught him red-handed" Carmelita replied as Sly and Neyla silently made their way out of the room
"I'm just saying, the men that were killed were innocent, and this doesn't fit Sly's style" Nick said
"Style" Carmelita asked
"His file says he's never harmed an innocent person before only criminals and I'm just saying there are other criminals in the world other than" Nick was about to say before Carmelita spotted the two escaping
"THEY'RE GETTING AWAY, AFTER THEM" Carmelita yelled as she was about to move but Sly threw down smoke screen bomb, obscuring Carmelita's vision, she shot blindly but missed, she then saw Sly and Neyla making a run for it, she then took off after them, she chased them through the corridors of the museum
"GET BACK HERE YOU TWO" Carmelita yelled
"SORRY CARM, WE'RE LATE FOR A HOT DATE" Neyla shouted
"So, if you will EXCUSE US" Sly added as the three played cat and mouse until Sly and Neyla ran into Murray
"OH GEEZ…WAIT UP YOU GUYS" Murray yelled trying to keep up with Sly and Neyla
"MOVE YOUR ASS MURRY" Sly shouted
"YEAH, IT'S TIME TO GO" Neyla as they ran, Bentley soon joined them
"THIS WASN'T PART OF THE PLAN" Bentley shouted as he ran as well
"Yeah, well…this is where things get fun" Sly replied
"If this is your idea of fun, love, I'd hate to see your idea of trouble" Bentley replied
"Oh, come on Bentley, this is the BEST part, the thrill of the chase" Neyla replied as the four were chased by Carmelita, continuing down the long corridor until
"Okay this is getting a little hot, guys split up, I'll draw her away, meet up with Mario in the van, I'll be down as soon as I can" Sly told them
"Not without ME you're not" Neyla said
"You're ALL going to jail" Carmelita told them
"Not yet, we ain't" Sly replied
"Pick us up at the rendezvou" Neyla said as Bentley and Murray separated while Carmelita chased Sly and Neyla through a busted window and onto the rooftops, down below police cars were gathering before Carmelita busted out another window
"Neither of you can't get away from the long arm of the LAW" Carmelita told the lovers as she started shooting at them again to which the two continued their case
"Come on Carmelita, let's talk this over" Sly tried to reason with her
"I'll let my good friend the shock pistol do the reasoning" Carmelita replied
"Now you see a girl whose best friend is a firearm has issues" Sly replied
"Not even for old friends" Neyla asked
"I told you that I might be called to hunt you two down and NOW you two have crossed the line with those innocent people you killed" Carmelita said
"WE DIDN'T DO IT…I SWEAR on my mother's GRAVE we didn't" Sly replied
"Well, you can tell me your side…in the interrogation room" Carmelita replied before they continued the chase until Sly and Neyla found themselves in an alleyway where the rest of the team was
"Nephew, Neyla we're heading towards your position, jump in fast so we can get out of here" Mario's voice came through the earpiece's, Sly and Neyla then quickly rushed to the van and jumped in
"FLOOR THE THING MURRAY" Mario shouted
"HOLD ON TO YOUR HATS" Murray yelled as Murray took off faster than a bat out of hell
"I'LL FIND YOU COOPER AND YOU TO NEYLA" Carmelita yelled as Sly, and his gang got away again, Nick then showed behind her
"Now you said these guys have a talent for escapes…but seeing it for myself, they're very lucky" Nick said
"Luck eventually runs out…we just gotta find out where they're hiding those parts" Carmelita said
"Carmelita, I know I'm new and you've been chasing these guys for a LONG time…but, what if Sly was telling the truth" Nick said
"And what your suddenly an expert at telling who's lying and who's telling the truth" Carmelita asked
"I've been present for a LOT of interrogations and I've learned how to spot the signs of a liar, the look in Sly's eyes told me he was telling the truth" Nick answered, Carmelita then crossed her arms, not replying
"You told me so yourself, he saved your life once two years ago, he could have LEFT you in that gas chamber…why won't you give hm the benefit of the doubt" Nick asked
"Doubt or not…the Clockwerk parts are still missing, get to finding them" Carmelita told him Nick sighed
"Right away" Nick replied before he walked away
*Hmm…maybe he DIDN'T take them…which means that he'll probably go after the Klaww gang and if I can get ahead of the punch…I can NAIL HIM and his crew* Carmelita said in her mind with a smirk

As the gang drove away, they all caught their breaths after such an ordeal
"WHEW…talk about close, eh, nephew" Mario asked Sly
"Too close for the skin on my teeth" Bentley stated
"Is what Carmelita said true, the Clockwerk parts are gone" Murray asked Sly
"Oh yeah the parts are gone alright, I saw it myself" Neyla answered
"Some group called the Klaww gang got to them before we could even get close" Sly answered
"But why, what are the parts to them" Murray asked
"They possibly want them for their significant and unique properties, they are composed of metals that are impossibly rare to find anywhere else and according to the tests I ran on the parts after Clockwerk's first defeat they will never wear out or even rust" Bentley said
"Or maybe sell them, rare metals such as that would go for BIG time money on the black market" Neyla asked
"All that planning and work for NOTHING" Bentley said
"We ain't licked yet Bentley" Neyla said
"She's right" Sly said
"What's the call nephew" Mario asked
"I don't know what this Klaww gang intend to do with such evil pieces of machinery, but one thing is for sure, we need to find out where they are and steal back the parts…FAST" Sly said
"Agreed" Bentley said
"Bentley get on the web and try and find something, ANTYHING that might point us in the right direction, Murray I suggest we get back to the Paris safehouse, we need to lay low from the cops for a little bit" Sly told his friends
"RIGHT" Murray said
"I'm on it Sly" Bentley said before he got to work
"Nephew…if this Klaww gang find a way to reassemble Clockwerk and bring him back to life" Mario was about to say
"I know uncle…the nightmare will start ALL over again and all our hard work two years ago will have been for NOTHING" Sly said as he popped his knuckles
"All our struggles, all our suffering, all those who were killed by Clockwerk…if that MONSTER comes back" Sly growled before Neyla laid her head on his shoulder
"We'll get them back before that happens, love…I PROMISE" Neyla said
"I agree with Neyla, we've got some planning to do" Mario said before leaving Sly in his thoughts
(Sly's P.O.V)
"I gotta say, Carmelita sure knows how to show up when you least expect her, anyway, what that guy, Nick mention about this group, the Klaww gang…was it just a slip of the tongue…or an intentional clue, either way, it's the only lead me and the gang have on the missing Clockwork parts…CLOCKWERK…I thought I put that living nightmare behind me for GOOD, he was consumed with jealously and hate for the my father's family line of master thieves, consumed with jealously for their reputations as thieves, is it inappropriate to refer to him as a monster…NO…not at all…what kind of person stays alive for hundreds if not THOUSANDS of years with the sole intention of destroying those he hates the most, wiping out a rival's family line, one could only imagine the hatred fueling that first decision to replace his mortal body with soulless machinery, but ultimately…it did the trick…Clockwerk LIVED ON…he caught up with my parents…murdered them in cold blood, my uncle Mario took me in, raised me as best he could and took me around the world to train me in the assassin arts from my mother's side of my heritage, twenty years later, I reunited with two of my oldest friends Bentley the brains of our outfit and Murray…the brawn and together we tracked down each member of the group that ruined my childhood and took them down one by one…permanently, all but the Panda King remains of the Fiendish five…two years ago, I thought I ENDED the nightmare that was Clockwerk, how naïve to think I could so easily put an end that that kind of hatred and evil…and now, he's back, in pieces sure but the threat is as real as always…does the Klaww gang even realize WHAT they've stolen, we need to track down the Klaww gang, find out what they're doing with Clockwerk's parts and steal them back before any of them gets the idea to reassemble them and see what happens, but I'll take more than me this time…I've always fought alone but even I can't do this all by myself, it's gonna take all of us, me, Bentley, Murray and the love of my life, Neyla to find the parts and destroy them ONCE and for ALL…I don't know what's in my future…but I WON'T let it be a repeat of my past"

And that my people, is the first chapter down for the count I'll admit that this chapter wasn't the longest but I made due with what I would come up with, the Clockwerk parts have been stolen, Carmelita has a new partner and this Klaww gang has thrown down the gauntlet, what will Sly and his gang do to get back the parts?
And this Nick character, do you guys think he's on the up and up or do you think this will be a repeat of what happened with Sly and Neyla in the cannon of the second Sly game, can you guys guess before I reveal it in future chapters?
