In a World beyond the known realms. Far beyond that the particular realm stood out among the rest. Though its existence was not known to anyone other than the beings that lived there it was a realm that was so expanded, so massive that it still was left greatly undocumented and unexplored.

The Realm itself known as Ethiopia was home to a great vast of both man and beast. Creature and Animal. Some more different than the others. Some possessing a great deal of intelligence while others do not have it.

Every manner of creature that lived there were some that were forged into legend. Though the legends and the myths were considered simply folk tales that faded into children's books they were all too real as the legends had a great deal of fact in them.

Be it why every manner of enchanting mystical and marvelous beings were considered tales of legend was for the fact they once existed in a realm outside their own once but then mysteriously they all left as if they never existed at all.

Though the realm outside Ethiopia would never know about the creature's existence the creatures and people of Ethiopia thrived in their own realm. However, throughout the times that passed they were not always peaceful.

Across the many lands that made up Ethiopia from forests that stretched so far it was a land of bark and oak with mountains that towered so high into the sky one would claim some actually breached the heavens themselves.

There were regions that had great valleys and open pastures with a few mountains made up in wonderful formations.

In some parts of Ethiopia great deserts laid on through many sandy dunes and only a few oasis laid about in them acting as tiny spots of green for any weary travelers to rest and stock up on water and food that may grow in the little trees that were there.

The Coasts possessed white sandy beaches as the seas outside them stretched so far that one believed the sea is endless and one could get lost if they went too far.

So much made up the realm of Ethiopia that even though millions to even a couple billion lived in the great realm there were still so much of it to explore and document that it seemed it could take a great number of generations before even a percentage of the realm could be populated.

With the realm itself so vast and a great majority of the people and creature lived on it they all lived in their own perspective lands that made up the known portion of the realm.

The ones that lived in their own lands either lived in it and kept to their own daily lives or some lived in kingdoms that already had taken over the land and built up into a place where the people would come to together and live in a civilization with their own ways of living and law.

For a long time, these havens and kingdoms and small and large countries once existed without any knowledge outside their own territories. They kept to their own and upkeeped their ways of live. Some of them adopted to a living that was similar to some while others made their living in ways that were far different than the rest.

Everyone that lived in their countries, kingdoms and lands all made their living doing what they could to live on in the only way they knew how. Some eventually came to know another land or world beyond their own and sometimes welcomed the discovery with opens arms while some suffered tragedies and betrayals that caused them to hate the other world with fiery passion.

Though some creatures came to know man and live in a patrial harmony with them some creatures hated man due to their misguided views and aggressive barbaric nature that man was known to possess at times.

Times continued on in the realm of Ethiopia as some feuds continued to hold while some creatures and humans got along partially well. But times were not always harmonic in it as within nearly manner of kingdom and land there was trouble either brewing or something that would disrupt the current harmony in them.

Disasters would happen sometimes by nature that would cause a great deal of hardship and chaos among the populace. Some of which were creatures or humans bent on causing such chaos in order to start something that would to them gaining their darkest desires.

Masterful deceit some of them were known by having manipulated into gaining positions that would allow them to achieve their goals that much easier some of them being family to those that they wanted to overthrow to either ruling the land under their own way or to simply conquer it as a means to show their dominate power.

Some of these black hearted individuals even plotted to kill their own kin. Either to usurp them or out of jealously over one's status or beauty.

Another group of these dark beings wanted to possess a relic of unimaginable power that would grant them the power needed to take over the lands or seas they knew. If they were to gain them then nothing would be able to stand in their way as dominion over the lands or even the realm itself could be theirs.

In each of these lands and seas arose those that were willing to do what they could to stand against these dark beings that threatened their lives, homes and even their loved ones. Many of them nearly lost their lives on numerous occasions as they tried to either fight against these beings or expose them for the evil ones they were.

Though there were lands that had a dark individual causing chaos within them there were other lands that did not have anyone that would go to such evil lengths to gain something, but these lands were not without their own danger or hard times. There were some that lived in them that were desperate to understand their place in life. They were born with great destiny's that they were unaware of till the imminent arrival of something that would cause them to interfere and protect what they had and found out their purpose and reason for being who they are.

In the other kingdoms and lands where evil beings tried to take over them or possess something that would give them the power to take over the lands were individually defeated by the ones that rose to stand up against them or took action when they had to when all seemed lost.

When each of the dark ones fell their vile presence extinguished had brought a new era of peace. Feuds would end. Kingdoms would again thrive under either new or current leadership whose leaders loved and cared for their people and worked tirelessly to see them live happily. And some of the hero's that helped end the dark ones found or fought aside someone that would become the love of their lives which then would lead to a time of joy and prosperity for them and all those that earned it after they risked so much to save those they cared so deeply for and to protect their homes and people from destruction.

With such deeds the Kingdoms and lands of the world sent out scouts and caravans having learned there were more lands and people outside their own and desired to seek them out. One of the reasons was the discovery how some of these lands had valiant heroes that due to their efforts their own lands were safe from certain destruction. Or they wanted to establish trade as some kingdoms had resources and valid treasures that would be worthy for trade.

Within years' time many of the lands and kingdoms started becoming unified under a pact of friendship. Everyone within every manner of land and kingdom all had become well known for each other. It didn't take long till every figure of importance knew every other figure that was either a hero that saved their own lands and people from a cruel and dark being or a kind and benevolent ruler who showed great care and love not only for their own but to all those they met.

With such a unity forging from all lands across Ethiopia they all agreed to confide their alliance and friendships under a single banner which would be crafted and introduced by the greatest of all the kingdoms across Ethiopia the Kingdom of Murine which was at the center of the known parts of Ethiopia.

The Kingdom itself consisted of the some of the most talented magicians and wizards that ever graced the Ethiopia throughout the ages. Some were even known to have played a hand into forging some of the lands themselves or helped some kingdoms rise to what they would become now while other powerful beings were said to have left items of great importance of their own making that would benefit all.

But another trait that the Kingdom was known to have which the made up most of the populace were mice. The Mice were known for their peaceful ways of living and their caring nature as anyone they met they would immediately greet with kind gestures and welcoming introductions and would be quick to offer a place to stay if one needed or an invitation for a meal.

Ruling over such a Kingdom that was known to be such a utopia was the mouse King Mickey who would soon lead the head into unifying the entire realm under the banner that would bring about a new alliance that would span and exist for generations to come.

King Mickey along with his Queen were overjoyed as within weeks' time hundreds of different people and animals from their various homelands would come. There would be a grand ball for dancing and feasts that would be so massive no one will possibly leave hungry than night and then would come the main event when the flag of unity would be introduced by the King himself and the declaration that would be signed by all present would unify every kingdom and land.

However, as the King eagerly awaited that joyful day he received word that something terrible was happening in the dark lands. A Realm that was shadowed in darkness. The Clouds never moved or cleared away from the sun. The Tree's there were sinister and leering as if they were out to snatch any soul that step foot within it.

But what dwelled within the dark and decayed forest was something more terrible than anything that came to exist. Bald Mountain. A Lone mountain that stood nearly as high as the mountain in the land known as Olympia were Mount Olympus stood above the local city's standing as beacon of hope but Bald Mountain was beacon of terror and dread and little did anyone know how true it would be as, King Mickey himself venture alone through the darkened woods staying clear the clawed branches of the trees and stayed far away from the animals that stalked about looking to make a meal out of a mouse the would fail to watch his step.

When the King came in sight of the dreadful mountain he discovered something that was more horrible than the mountain itself. It had come alive as at the peak of the mountain two wings opened up to reveal a gargantuan demon that made, Mickey's blood turn cold at the very sight of the horrifying demon with two massive horns and glowing yellow eyes that thankfully did not spot him hiding behind some of the trees near the forests edge.

With a wave of its right hand that folded back into its over arm from the earth at the bottom of the mountain it cracked open to the surprise of the King as dark smoke bellowed from the depths of the underworld and one by one human and creature emerged from the smoke puffing into existence and, Mickey knew who each of them was right away.

Each and every one of the figures that emerged from the smoke were beings of evil. Those that were defeated by the hero's he came to know over the years. It couldn't be possible as if it was a nightmare that he wishes that could wake up from, but it was reality.

Once the last of the dozens of the evil beings that were once as good as gone having been brought back to life by the terrible being that stood far above them towering over them with his dark shadow looming over them as they gazed up and in surprise coming to a quick understanding they were all alive once again and it only was possible due to the behemoth creature that looked down at them all with a cruel smile with his arms folded.

The Demon which called himself the lord of all Darkness, Chernabog had summoned them all from deepest depths of the underworld as had a use for them. With given back the lives they lost they now owed him their unquestionable allegiance. If they refuse he will cast them back to where they came and never see the light of day or breath life again.

With no other choice everyone present agreed to his term but the question loomed what was his reason to bring the likes them from the grave? It was a question, Chernabog was most eager to answer as the time was soon to come when the Darkness would reign supreme across everything. Not only Ethiopia would be covered in darkness but every realm outside of it will. With that each and everyone that he had summoned would have their chance at revenge against those that defeated them and may have a share in what will soon be gained.

Having heard enough, King Mickey quickly and quietly made his way back to his kingdom to inform his Queen and advisors of what he discovered. It would only be a matter of time before Chernabog and all those that were once dead would bring about an age of darkness that would decimate the lands and the people that lived within. No one would be able to even live in such an age.

Chernabog had to be stopped but how could it be possible especially with all the villains of the lands serving at his will? There had to be answer how as a full-scale war would only result in many casualties if they confronted them head on and there would be a chance that they would lose.

King Mickey went to the grand library to search for an answer. Many wizards had documented many spells, elixir ingredients, potions and so much more within the thousands of books that stack countless shelfs across the library. Perhaps one the wizards of the past knew something that counter this evil that now threatened everything.

For hours to even days he skulked through ancient texts and scrolls that had ancient knowledge of spells, stories of glory and discovery and ingredients to powerful potions and elixirs. Despite the re-discovering of some of the forgotten lore's it wasn't what, Mickey was looking for.

The King had almost given up until he decided to go through one final rows of books and the first one he choose had caused a hidden passage way to open up behind a shelf. He had been the king for so long that the discovery of the hidden passage surprised him. It had a set of stairs that ventured down a dark column of them.

With a torch and a small escort by his side the King ventured into the hidden staircase that led to the underground to where it seemed he had to be under his castle by then. To his great surprise he found what appeared to be a large study. It had not been used in so long as cobwebs filled the few rows of books that were stacked on dusty shelves. There were desks filled with chemistry equipment as the study was part of a lab.

At the center of the hidden chamber sitting upon a desk was the skeletal remains of what seemed to be a man wearing a full blue robe with a pointed star mooned hat laying near the remains. The Skellington had a white beard as it laid motionless upon the desk having long past.

Mickey didn't know who it was but judging by the room and the way the Skellington was outfitted it had to be a wizard. But on the desk its right hand was laying upon an open book. The King went over and gently moved the hand trying not to disrespect the deceased one.

Upon the book which seemed to be the wizards journal he had written something that the King's eyes went wide when he read it. "The Demon above all demons would one day return. This I fear will come. That is why I have transferred all the power that is within me and the sun star the only true living being of light itself that can cast away the darkness that will soon come to claim this world and those beyond. It would be too dangerous to simply give it to anyone here even my great, King Mickey. I used portal device that I have created in my last moments to take my final and most important relic in the form of a necklace to a child in the world just beyond our own. He will be unaware of what it is but in time he will come to realize that destiny has chosen him to cast the fearsome enemy that will plaque us all. I pray to the light that who should ever read this to find this child and help him. Only he will be our salvation. Protect him from the darkness and show him the way. To my King Mickey. I Yen Sid have been honored to serve you. You gave me the best years of my life. I apologize for shutting myself away in my secret study, but I needed solitude if I were to create the device you see before you. Carry on, my King and trust in my words that only by finding this child before our enemy does will save us all. It all has been a part of an ancient prophecy that the light will cast out all shadow and bring about the great light that will bring a new age of everlasting peace and I believe with your help it will come to fruition. Yours truly. Yen Sid."

King Mickey shed a few tears once he realized who the skeleton was. Years ago, the great wizard he knew so well had vanished without a trace. He wondered what had become of his dear friend and now he knew. But as sad as it was he could not stand by and grief. His friend's final efforts may just save them all.

It pained the King that he would have to bring such unfortunate news to all that will come for the grand unity as most of them will be horrified to find out that not only the evil ones they once vanquished had been brought back to life by a true monstrosity that is bent on shadowing the world in his dark grasp, but this was important. Every life now depended on them coming together in this more than ever for only together do they have a chance to find this child and save the world from the coming darkness.
