The court of Arceus
A few years ago, in a world where only Pokemon lived, peace and prosperity reigned everywhere. However, every good age always has its dark days.
One day, without anyone knowing, the balance of time and space fell apart and caused a rather bizarre dimensional anomaly: powerful blizzards and lightning skies lashed the Pokemon living on land and in the sea. But, without a doubt, the worst were the whirlwinds that appeared afterwards: large dark eddies, like black holes, that formed and took dozens of Pokemon to an unknown destination.
After these events, such a phenomenon was not seen again in the Pokemon world for years... until just a few days ago. And, thanks to those effects, another world was also suffering strange meteorological phenomena, not serious, but easily visible. To do this, you need beings who share the heart of both worlds...
(In a place, something difficult to explain…)
In this dimension, both time, space and distortion coexisted in a balanced point. It was, so to speak, an intersection point between the worlds, like an intersection of 3 sets. However, it was also risky for these three different forces to collide, as it could mean destruction in the natural order of things. Thanks to the strength of 3 powerful Pokemon, this place could be held.
"Dialga" said a powerful creature from the place that emanated a strong concentration of space, "So you felt it too"
"For someone like you, Palkia, it just happened," Dialga replied. Then, it turned to the third being, "In the world of distortion it's almost impossible to feel anything, I'm surprised you're here too, Giratina"
"Although it seems impossible, I felt it too" replied Giratina, "A dark energy begins to feel and soon it will spread to cover all dimensions..."
There was a minute of silence, in which no one said anything. Dialga then asked:
"When will he appear? It must have felt it too."
"Time is relative," Dialga said, "It can come faster than we speak. What's more, here it comes…"
Where the 3 dimensions collided, a great light appeared and next to it, a last being, who had a symbol on his back.
"Sorry for the delay" said the creature, "I had to make a couple of visits before"
"Arceus" Giratina said, "I suppose that, with what is about to happen, you have gone to discuss it with your old friend"
"Nothing escapes your glimpses of the Pokemon world from your dimension, Giratina" Arceus replied, "Yes, I have gone to consult the crisis with other legendary brothers: they are all scared. And, unfortunately, neither our power nor that of any Pokemon is enough to guarantee salvation..."
There was another minute of silence.
"We must try," Palkia proposed, "Even after this crisis destroys these dimensions, it will spread far beyond other universes."
"We still have time to find the solution," Dialga stressed, "I think, based on the events of the past, we can remember that we have been helped before with these situations. You know who I mean..."
"If you're talking about humans, it's possible" Giratina inquired, "But several of them have already lost that light that the previous ones had, it's almost impossible to know if any of them could have it"
"Mew agrees as well," Arceus said, "However, since this situation is too dire for a single human to handle, we must bring more. Giratina, could you find and keep an eye on the 6 most pure-hearted humans you can find?"
"Even if I find them, how will we know that the darkness will not swallow their hearts?"
There was another long minute of silence in which Arceus seemed very thoughtful. However, considering that Giratina's was a very correct opinion, they had to be sure to choose well.
"We'll put them to the test," Arceus finally said.
