Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter or anything related, but I am flattered you would think I do.

A/N: It's a Bellatrix/Sirius drabble, from his point of view. It came to me and I had to write it so… yeah. Hope you like it!

Looking at her, he could never know what she was feeling. He could never know what she was thinking, or even what she was planning to do.

Except when her eyes, devoid of light and full of anger, became two black flames. When that fire seemed to come from her heart, and when her entire face lit up.

Sirius knew then, that she was planning something that, to her, seemed brilliant. Just like now—he saw the fire in her eyes, and he saw Bellatrix raising her wand.

But, as always, he did not know what she was feeling.

He did not know what she was thinking or what curse she was planning to use against him. He could only know that she seemed to think of it as brilliant, and it was not assuring him one bit.

Then, he heard her muttering the Stunning Curse and he fell behind the veil.

The last thing he would hear was her gasp of surprise.

The last thing he would see was her beautiful face wearing a surprised yet victorious expression.

But maybe the most important, was that the last thing he would feel would be hope. Would be the hope that she would feel guilty, that she would miss him and maybe even that she would spare a tear for him. Hope that she would realize how much she loved him, that she would realize exactly how much he loved her too.

A/N: So what do you think? You may say that in a review. Hinthint
